The sun shone brightly over the wide-open plains of Unova. A gentle breeze rustled through the tall grass as Violet, the daughter of Iris, stood at the edge of a familiar field. She had spent so many hours here as a child, watching wild Pokémon pass by. But now, at the age of 10, it was her turn to venture out into the world and carve her own path as a Pokémon Trainer.

Violet's heart raced with excitement. She had been dreaming of this moment for as long as she could remember. Her amber eyes sparkled with determination, and her purple hair swayed as it peeked out from under her black cap, the yellow logos catching the light.

"Axew! Pichu! Let's do this!" Violet called, crouching down to the ground as she released her two Pokémon partners.

Axew, her loyal Dragon-type companion, let out an enthusiastic Axew! as it waddled over to her, its tusks gleaming in the sunlight. Pichu, a tiny electric ball of energy, zipped around her head in circles, making playful squeaks.

"Alright, you two. We're going to make it big, I just know it!" Violet grinned, already feeling the thrill of adventure coursing through her veins. "We'll show everyone that we're the best team ever!"

But as she adjusted the straps on her backpack and prepared to set off, a familiar voice called out behind her.

"Violet, wait."

Violet turned to see her mother, Iris, standing at the entrance of their home, her arms crossed but her expression soft. Iris had been Unova's Champion for two decades but now retired as a Champion to focus more as a house mom.

"Mom, I'm fine!" Violet said with a wide smile, trying to reassure her mother. "Axew and Pichu are ready for anything! We've been training hard, I promise!"

Iris stepped forward, her eyes searching her daughter's face. Violet could see a flicker of nostalgia in her mother's gaze, and it tugged at her heart.

"I know you are," Iris said quietly. "But it's hard to let go. You remind me so much of myself when I started out. So eager, so ready to take on the world."

Violet stepped closer, her smile unwavering. "I'll be okay, mom. I have my team, and you've taught me everything I need to know. I just… I need to find my own path."

Iris hesitated before pulling Violet into a tight hug. "I know. And I'm proud of you. Just remember, wherever you go, you have family. And don't forget to take care of yourself."

Violet nodded, pulling away with a look of determination. "I won't forget. I promise. And… I will find out who my father is too. I have to, Mom. It's something I need to do."

Iris gave a soft smile, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "Your father is out there somewhere. I'm sure of it. And I'm sure that wherever he is, he'd be proud of the young woman you've become." Her voice grew softer. "Ash would be too, you know."

Violet's heart skipped at the mention of Ash's name. She had heard so many stories of the world-renowned Champion who had traveled alongside her mother. She had heard that he was brave, kind, and never gave up—qualities Violet had always admired. Ash's legacy was something that would never fade.

"I'll make him proud, too," Violet said firmly, the fire in her eyes burning brighter. "For all of us."

With one last hug, Iris stepped back and watched as Violet walked down the familiar road, the world awaiting her. She glanced down at a framed photo she had kept hidden in her room, a picture of herself, Cilan, and Ash. They had been through so much together.

A smile tugged at Iris' lips as she whispered to herself, "I know he'd be proud of you, Violet. Wherever you are, Ash…"

As Violet continued down the road, the excitement of her journey only grew. Her thoughts raced through the possibilities of the adventures ahead. But her mind also lingered on the question that had been weighing heavily on her heart: Who was her father? She had heard so little about him, but it was something she felt she needed to uncover.

"Pichu! Let's see what we can find out today!" Violet laughed as Pichu playfully hopped onto her shoulder, sparking with little bursts of electricity.

Axew scampered ahead, its tusks twitching in the air as it spotted a flock of Pidgey soaring above.

Violet's eyes narrowed with focus. "We're not stopping until we reach the top, right guys?" she said, her voice full of resolve.

Axew! it cheered, as if to affirm her words.

But just as Violet was about to take her first steps out into the world, a shadow loomed overhead. The sky darkened for a moment as the sound of flapping wings echoed. A wild Talonflame swooped down from above, eyeing them curiously.

Violet's heart skipped a beat. "Whoa… is that a Talonflame? That's a rare sight around here…"

Before she could even make a move, the Talonflame let out a sharp screech, its fiery wings blazing as it dove down for an attack. Violet instantly called out to Axew.

"Axew, use Dragon Rage!" she commanded, her voice steady despite the danger.

Axew, with its natural instinct kicking in, opened its mouth wide and released a powerful blast of blue energy straight at the Talonflame. The fiery bird swerved mid-air, narrowly avoiding the blast.

"Pichu, Thunderbolt!" Violet shouted, and the tiny Electric-type gathered energy, sending a jolt of electricity toward the Talonflame.

The Talonflame, surprised by the combined power of the young Trainer's Pokémon, soared upwards, narrowly dodging the attack. It let out another loud screech, warning them to stay away. But Violet was determined. She wasn't going to let a challenge stop her, not this early in her journey.

"Not today!" Violet yelled. "Axew, Pichu, let's finish this together!"

In unison, Axew and Pichu launched another combined attack—Dragon Rage and Thunderbolt crashing together in a burst of light. The Talonflame screeched once more, then retreated into the sky, defeated but not harmed.

Violet grinned, breathing heavily but filled with exhilaration. "That was awesome! We make a great team!"

Axew leaped into her arms, and Pichu cheered on her shoulder.

As the wind settled and the sky cleared, Violet looked ahead, the road stretching out before her, full of unknowns and challenges. She tightened her backpack and nodded to herself.

"I'm coming for you, world. And I'll find the answers I'm looking for. This is just the beginning."
