Angel: Hana being tied to Shigaraki's past does come up again much later. But it's not something that gets a ton of focus, there's other things that are just as bad to worry about.
A request for me to save one hero in the war, once again, there are two. The war we're currently on and the one in season 7. But also, I think this is just one request that I just don't understand. Even erasing one hero's death, for example Majestic, makes the villains less of an actual threat to me. I don't get why this needs to happen at all because like I said, that's basically cheating the narrative. It's basically trying to excuse something rather than acknowledge what the death means in the plot. So, please write that on your own, it's not happening and I write what I want.
WAIT, WHAT? The fourth movie is on Kissanime?! Hold up... *checks link and watches one minute* OH MY GOD, IT'S LEGIT, YOU GUYS! THANK YOU TO THE GUEST WHO TOLD ME THIS CRUCIAL INFO! I gotta drop everything and write this movie now since I've only written 10 episodes of season 7 so far. Because I was just gonna be like 'screw it, I'll wait till April' but now I can actually FINALLY FUCKING WATCH IT EVER SINCE LAST OCTOBER! I might have to delay releasing season 7 for a bit so that I have time to write You're Next because it takes place between episodes 4 and 5, but WORTH. IT. FOR. SURE! Guys, go check it out if you were me and didn't have the chance to see it, right now, before it might get taken down. And if it does, you can blame me for jinxing it but at the same time, screw whoever was in charge of withholding the movie from online access! If it stays up there, I have to put my Code Lyoko remake story on hold.
A helicopter was flying towards the giant dust cloud from the destruction of the city area. "This is an aerial view of Jaku City and what a nightmare," A reporter stated while looking down, though all he could see was dust and destroyed buildings. "I'm estimating a third of the city has been completely leveled." Around the buildings and homes that weren't destroyed was a bunch of traffic and people running around. "Heroes and rescue teams are evacuating citizens, but look at the current state of the streets! It's chaos down there! Dust clouds are obscuring the extent of the damage here, but the scene calls to mind the disaster in Deika City." It was a wonder that he could get as close as he could, because the dust was making it harder to get a good view of other events. "What terrible force are the heroes fighting against? Hosu City, Kamino Ward, and now this in Jaku."
Toshinori was holding Eri close as she held Baki, who let out a worried meow in her arms. They were all watching from the teacher's lounge, and Toshinori felt very guilty that he was retired. He should've known that huge events would've happened thanks to his absence, but not to this extent...
"There seems to be no end to the massive terrorist attacks that began last year." The former number-one hero furrowed his eyebrows further, knowing that this was all going back to him...or at least, some people would think so. He wished that his actions didn't sway the opinions of the public so much when things like this happened without his presence...
"And despite the army of police officers and pros on the ground, no information whatsoever has been released to the press."
Inko Midoriya was hauling groceries, not having seen the news yet as she smiled. She hoped that her children were doing good at UA, as she hadn't heard from them for a bit.
"It begs the question: did authorities know about this catastrophe before it happened?"
Fuyumi was walking around the halls of the school she worked at, smiling towards some children.
"Whatever the case, there's no doubt that the destruction we're witnessing today is worse than any incident in recent history."
Natsuo was currently in class, listening silently to the teacher. Rei Todoroki was looking out the window of her room, holding the flowers that Endeavor would leave during his visits.
Mitsuki Bakugo was looking at a memory book of her son while sipping some tea, smiling. "You have to wonder what exactly is going on in Japan right now. Is this the new normal? The dangerous future we're heading towards?"
All for One sat in his cell, the cameras still watching him. He gave a small smile as he knew that his time was coming...and that Shigaraki would continue down the path he had in front of him. And all of the citizens were painfully unaware of the looming evil that had awakened...
Endeavor soared towards Shigaraki with his flames, the villain moving swiftly and with ease to avoid the attacks. Endeavor grunted at how fast Shigaraki was, even beating his speed. And so far, nothing had worked, so he had no idea what could really harm Shigaraki at this point.
Shigaraki looked down at him with a creepy smile at the struggle he knew he was giving the heroes.
"It appears that the many Quirks All for One collected over the years were transplanted into Shigaraki," Gran Torino informed Katsuki, Izuka, and Izuku. They were still close enough to see the fight. "That's what Present Mic said, anyway. Still, right now, he's just one person. If we can't stop him, then what's the point of there being so many heroes in this world?"
Burnin and other heroes were on their way over.
"That's why you shouldn't be here, Izuka. It's too much," Katsuki glanced down at the girl.
"The last thing I need is for you to patronize me," She huffed, crossing her arms.
He recoiled back a bit in alarm; she didn't understand why after hearing it now that he insisted that she had to leave. But he didn't want to explain it to her. "Do you really think I'm doing that?! I-" He growled and turned to Izuku. "Deku, she's your sister. Get her to back down!"
"I can't do that! Even if I wanted to, she'd never let me live it down..." Izuku thought back to when she found out Himiko Toga was Camie, and he didn't want a repeat...
In the distance, shadows were in the smoke, catching Burnin and Kido off guard.
"Are those...?"
A bunch of High-End Nomu revealed themselves, growling.
The twins, Katsuki, and Gran Torino heard it as well, looking towards the source. "No!" Izuku murmured with dread in his voice.
"What?!" Izuka gasped a little upon realizing what was going on.
"Where did they come from?" Katsuki questioned in bewilderment; they thought they had defeated the Nomu. All four of them couldn't close their mouths as they looked up ahead in utter shock.
"The whole lab should've crumbled to dust in that Decay Wave!" Gran Torino muttered, wondering how they were even still standing. "So how are there Nomu here...?"
"Jetburn!" Endeavor screamed as he summoned his flaming fist again. Once he attacked, Shigaraki moved out of the way with a smile. Endeavor grunted as he flew forward, not giving up to get at least one good hit against the villain. Shigaraki used his wind attack to block the shots that were coming at him in every single direction. It was like Endeavor was a paddle ball going back and forth. Shigaraki grinned up at him, chuckling. At this point, he found it a bit entertaining that Endeavor was sticking to the same strategy.
Endeavor growled as he continued on, still clashing with Shigaraki, but it had changed nothing.
"Come on, Endeavor!" Locklock muttered at the sight, looking a bit nervous just by Shigaraki's power levels alone. "Shigaraki must be stopped."
Ryukyu flew up towards the two. Shigaraki noticed her immediately as he looked over his shoulder. "Sneaky..."
Endeavor growled again, holding up his arms. "Hell Spider!" He screamed as he moved down the whips of fire, but Shigaraki jumped out of the way completely. He appeared right behind the number-one hero and then slammed him downwards. Ryukyu flinched, not having enough time as Endeavor knocked into her. They flew down so hard that they hit the ground together in a crash.
Mr. Aizawa, Manual, and Locklock looked towards the fight anxiously, hoping that they could stop him. But at this point, it was becoming a losing battle...
"Ouch. That stung," Shigaraki remarked in a mocking way. "Hey, Number One," He then held up his fist...just like Endeavor did in Kyushu. He was standing over both heroes. "Is this the arm you held up that day? Probably should've checked before I beat you."
Endeavor grunted towards Shigaraki's feet over his waist, unleashing a burst of flame angrily. "Get off!" Of course, Shigaraki jumped to avoid it, landing nearby Ryukyu's arm. He turned around towards the hero. "Where did these new Nomu come from?" He demanded the white-haired man.
"It's simple, I have full control over Decay now," Shigaraki looked at his hands, pleased with his advantage in speed, Quirk, and control. Nearby, the heroes were fighting off the Nomu. "I wanted to keep the capsules from getting destroyed during that first wave, but I just couldn't save them all."
"They won't wake up and freak out suddenly?" Shigaraki wondered as Garaki was showing him the new High-End Nomu in stasis.
"Hm? Of course not," He glanced towards Shigaraki staring at one. "They're activated by electricity. When I tap on this little device, it triggers the current. Once awake, they'll follow the orders of whoever's designated as their master."
Shigaraki grinned while brushing his thumb over his cheek.
"I'd say they're servants fit for the King of Villains."
Garaki looked up with a big smile at how everything turned out, despite the ambush attack from the heroes earlier. "As I'd expect from my friend's disciple. He was careful to keep the High Ends alive!" He just wished that All for One was here to see it for himself.
"High Ends?" Present Mic looked at him in confusion.
"Then he used Radio Waves to generate the current needed to open their eyes!" He cried out, ignoring the question. Meanwhile, the heroes were doing their best to defeat the new Nomu. However, their attacks weren't doing much. "How clever. Unfortunately, this batch hasn't been through testing yet. The poor soldiers can't think on their own. That said, they're still far stronger than the upper-tier Nomu." Unlike when Mirko broke the pod, where he was terrified, he was much more happier and had his faith in both Shigaraki and the Nomu. "For the time being, I suppose we could call them Near High Ends!" He gave a small chuckle.
Gran Torino activated his shoes to lift himself off the ground. "Not good! They're heading for Eraser Head now!" He then took off, leaving the three teenagers behind. "You three keep yourselves hidden!"
All of them looked up ahead anxiously towards him, not sure if they would be okay sitting on the sidelines. Especially when their teacher's life was on the line.
"I can't imagine a worse scenario than him stealing One for All," Gran Torino dreaded the thought of it occurring the longer Izuku stayed around Shigaraki. "Who could defeat him then? And if All for One believes that he deserves Callista's power as well...it's almost like Shigaraki has a strong resentment for her. As if she reminds him of someone he used to know..."
Izuku gritted his teeth angrily at the situation they were in...technically because of him. And he wasn't sure he could just sit back and let them fight on their own...or even allowing his teacher to die. Someone who didn't even like the twins at first, but partly because of him, they wouldn't be here now. Despite how he acted, they knew that he still cared about his students.
"What's worse...?" He murmured and Izuka clamped her mouth shut, looking up ahead. Sure...Mr. Aizawa had the worst relationship with her...but without him, there would have been so much she wouldn't have learned for herself. And now...with his life at risk...what were they supposed to do?
"Jetburn!" Endeavor screamed as he flew in to unleash a large wave of fire. Shigaraki jumped over it, ending up at a high distance in Jaku City.
"You know, if your eyes are on me..." He looked towards the dust cloud. Thanks to Search, he could easily see Mr. Aizawa with Locklock and Manual. "Then you should assume I can see you as well." They were all staring up at him intensely, not wanting to know what was on his mind right now. Once Shigaraki landed, he jumped and headed right towards the three! "Eraser Head, you're standing in my way!" He grinned widely, reaching out his hand as he was about to attack Mr. Aizawa.
"You won't touch him!" Locklock shouted as he ran in to protect the man. The teacher flinched as he looked at Shigaraki wide-eyed. He should've known Shigaraki would've put it together...he reached out to his back.
No. I will not let you kill me. If I die here and your Quirks return, you'll be unstoppable! He remembered when Izuku broke his finger during the first day of school...and when Izuka burned her fingers a bit, all because of the advice he gave them. Which, he now saw as harsh, but to them, it was no obstacle at all. There are still people I have to keep watch over. Until the day they graduate and become heroes! He could also remember restraining Katsuki from attacking them on the same day, and when he told Izuka to stand in front of the class because he had found the hiding to be annoying. And...one particular student...I owe her a serious apology. So if I die, I'll have died without telling her how much she's grown. And how I seriously misjudged her! He slowly pulled out his knife as he remembered their talk while having ice cream...despite everything, Izuka still pushed forward to become the person she was today. And that was something he was proud of, especially because she reminded him of Oboro.
"You think I'm a problem?" He growled out while thinking of all of his students. "Look around. You're the one who's standing in the way!" He screamed as Shigaraki managed to slip past both Locklock and Native. He was now mere feet away from Mr. Aizawa.
Gran Torino gritted his teeth, knowing that his speed was no match for Shigaraki's while trying to get over quickly. Too slow. I won't make it!
Shigaraki smiled a little as he could imagine Mr. Aizawa crumbling to dust now...
However, a green spark of energy appeared as Izuku himself lunged in and pushed Shigaraki away. Mr. Aizawa's mouth opened in awe of his student as he stared down his enemy.
"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH OUR TEACHER!" Izuka screamed as she flew from the other side, grabbing Shigaraki's cape with a growl.
Mr. Aizawa! It's okay! Her brother thought while his teacher and Manual looked up in shock.
"No, kids!" Gran Torino shouted in concern for the twins as he zipped to the two men.
"If Shigaraki can't use his powers, then let us join the fight against him!" Izuku shouted towards the three.
"We were assigned to Endeavor's team for a reason, to save others. That includes everyone here!" Izuka glared towards Shigaraki, gripping his cape tightly. "We have to fight him as hard as we can because that's what we were trained to do!"
"Who could defeat him then?" Gran Torino's question rang in his mind, knowing that if he didn't step in, there wouldn't be any heroes to fight against Shigaraki...
Most of the pros are fighting the Nomu that just showed up. There aren't enough heroes left to stop him! If Erasure fails and Shigaraki uses Decay again, we're doomed.
I know that if we don't do this, it means that they'll die. Which is why we're fine with taking some of the responsibility the heroes have! Izuka gritted her teeth towards Shigaraki as Izuku glared down at him.
"The worst thing...would be losing Mr. Aizawa!" The two shouted in unison.
"I'm so sorry, Midoriyas," Mr. Aizawa stated with a stern look on his face. He was holding both of them in his scarf. "With your powers, there's no way you can become heroes."
The two looked at him in shock before Izuku gave a determined frown.
"He's protected his students this whole time!" Izuku called out, knowing that back then, Mr. Aizawa was trying to teach them. His methods weren't the definition of a normal teacher...but that was why the twins were grateful to him for his teaching. "We can't lose him after everything he's done! Or what are we even doing?!" A memory of Mr. Aizawa with his class came to mind.
"I did lose his trust for a while, I don't deny that! But I also can't deny that we all look up to him!" Izuka shouted, Mr. Aizawa flinching for the girl defending him despite what he had done and said to her for the past year. After all, he made her take remedial classes because of his anger towards her involvement in the Kamino fight. At the same time, though...after the Hassaikai raid, he ensured that she could take a break whenever she wanted. Because he saw how much of a toll it had taken on his student. "I can't just sit back and continue to let him be in danger! Or this will all be for nothing!"
He didn't even know what to say... "Midoriya...Mido, I..." He faltered while staring at the two, just now realizing how much of an impact that he had on them.
Katsuki flew in from above and Izuka spun to be above Shigaraki's head. "It's our turn..." He remembered Mr. Aizawa sticking up for him and Izuka during the press conference when they were kidnapped. "To return the favor!" He shouted as he flew forward and Izuku swung off of the man, Blackwhip forming around the two. He then tightened the whips around Shigaraki as Izuka prepared a sharp and jagged shooting star arrow. "How's this for rational, teach?!" He swung back his hand, orange coming from it. "AP Machine Gun!" He held out his hand, firing small blasts at multiple rounds.
"Star Gust!" Izuka spun around swiftly as she threw the star arrow, but it exploded into more stars to hit Shigaraki. Once the smoke cleared, Shigaraki himself moved his arm to reveal that he was perfectly fine. Even though he knew all of Izuka's moves at this point, he wasn't afraid of them since they had no effect.
"Heh! Aren't those fireworks and stars adorable?" He mocked the two and Izuka grunted.
"You don't get to talk, you dry-skinned wrinkled creep!" She growled out, getting his attention as he looked up. As he stared at the girl, he saw his sister Hana in her and then gritted his teeth.
"Ah...there you are, H-" He couldn't even finish his sentence because Blackwhip grabbed him by the arms. Izuku pulled back as hard as he could. The boy then yelped as he was thrusted forward by Shigaraki jumping towards Katsuki. "I'm sorry...but I'm afraid you're just not interesting to me anymore."
Izuka gasped sharply, spinning around at a steady pace to fall into Black Hole. She then emerged next to Shigaraki, using Comet Burst against him as soon as she did so. Katsuki let out a small gasp from her action, seeing her unwavering determination to stop him. That look told him...that Izuka wasn't going to back down from the villain, for many reasons. But trying to kill Katsuki had pushed that determination even higher. Before he could say anything, Endeavor growled as he flew in surrounded by flames to separate the two from him. He sent the villain flying across the battlefield and he stumbled along the way.
"Endeavor, sir!" Izuku looked up at him in surprise. Izuka stared at him in shock while helping up Katsuki.
"Where is Shoto?!" He demanded to the trio. Because of the work-study, he assumed that he was with the three.
"Outside the zone," Izuku informed quickly to him.
"What the hell was that?!" Katsuki gently pushed Izuka off of him. "I don't need your protection!"
"Not the time!" She retorted with a small growl; he did everything to protect her during the Humarise mission, so now she didn't owe him for it.
Shigaraki slid to a stop, letting out a small sigh at being stopped again. "I was awfully close to my goal there for a second."
Gran Torino turned towards Locklock and Manual. "I need you to protect him for me."
"Yeah, we got it!" Locklock reassured with a thumbs up. "He's not getting hurt on our watch, don't worry," They then started to move Mr. Aizawa somewhere where he could still see Shigaraki, but so that he wouldn't attack them again.
Gran Torino then turned to the villain, who stood there in silence. "Shigaraki's physical abilities have become extraordinary," He murmured; the level he was at now was certainly terrifying...
"Uh-huh," Izuku agreed as he stared, the three students standing behind Endeavor.
"His power and endurance are comparable to All Might's now," Endeavor pointed out to them.
"Really? But how?" Izuku couldn't help but wonder.
"As long as I don't blink, that physical strength is his only advantage," Mr. Aizawa informed the group, glaring towards Shigaraki. "I'll keep my eyes open as long as I can."
"Deku. Bakugo. Callista," Endeavor growled out to the three. "There's nothing we can do about you three being here. I won't ask why you came." Shigaraki used his wind to gain a boost in speed to head for them. Endeavor flew right towards them, his right arm on fire. "But we need to support Eraser! Bakugo, you cover Deku and Callista!"
Shigaraki then assessed the situation as he looked up ahead wide-eyed. It might be best to grab Midoriya and get out of here. And to kill the girl while I'm at it Before he could do any of those things, he felt another sharp pain like before.
You must take their abilities All for One's voice rung in his head.
He then looked up at the twins specifically. "One for All...and Galaxy..." A scar then appeared over his right eye somehow.
"Come to me. Dear little brother and sister," His voice...was now a combination of his, his voice as Tenko, and All for One's oddly enough. The twins and Shigaraki all gasped sharply from the sudden phrase that had come out of nowhere. Katsuki himself flinched in alarm as he glanced between Shigaraki and Izuka. He knew that she was a target, and that All for One had a brother, but...why did Shigaraki address her as such?
"Hell Spider!" Endeavor yelled while swinging down the ability. Shigaraki maneuvered around all of them, looking up in confusion. He had no idea why he talked like that, or why he said those words in particular. It was like it came out of him on instinct...
Little brother? That wasn't me talking. Nor have I mentioned that she was my sister specifically... He then gave a slow smile, realizing who it was. Your ego is too big, Master. And so was mine for a brief moment. This is my power...my body. I won't let a voice in my head turn me into some kind of puppet Right now, he didn't care what All for One wanted as long as he got to destroy to his heart's content. His goals, his power, was his own, and no one was going to take it away from him. Then the fight between him, All Might, and Izuka came to mind. There's something I've been wondering...how could a person called the Lord of Evil...be brought to his knees by a single man and a little girl? He remembered how much All for One's defeat affected him... I'm grateful for the way you raised me. Truly, I am. But...I have no desire to turn out like you It felt like his body and All for One's body were merging into one somehow...that All for One was anticipating this the whole time. If so, Shigaraki wanted nothing to do with it because he sent years growing up into what All for One wanted. And he had since turned those expectations down. I want to be much, much better Gran Torino and Endeavor were flying right towards him. So...shut up. All For One's body already felt like it was withering away as he reached out his hand with a manic grin.
"I'm taking these Quirks because it's my will..." He stated, before Gran Torino kicked his arm up.
"One blow could be fatal! But I excel at dodging. I trained a guy with crazy strength. By comparison, this'll be a breeze!" He, of course, was referring to when he trained All Might. And since he was familiar with someone of his physique, Shigaraki was second nature to him. He then grabbed Shigaraki by the shoulders, gritting his teeth angrily for his actions. "You coward! I won't let you keep disgracing Shimura's memory!"
He looked bored as the name didn't interest him. "And who is that?" His grandmother wasn't anyone important to him. No, the only person he even cared to acknowledge from his past life was Hana because of how Izuka reminded him of her.
"My master gave up her heart so that her family might know a life full of peace."
Toshinori stared at Gran Torino in silence. "You're not looking at him like the villain he is anymore. That's dangerous, especially since we both know that if he wasn't involved, your student wouldn't have gotten hurt."
He then held up his hand. "Your very existence hurts Toshinori!" He screamed while gaining some muscle. "You're the disease destroying this world!" He prepared to strike, wanting to give Shigaraki some comeuppance for how much he affected Toshinori. After all, if it wasn't for his master, Nana Shimura would still be alive...and Toshinori wouldn't have to question how he was supposed to treat Shigaraki as Nana's grandson.
"You can think whatever you want," Shigaraki deemed without any care to his voice. He looked up and saw Endeavor heading for him from behind Gran Torino. He then gave another manic smile, pushing the old man out of the way. He then jumped right past Endeavor to be above his head, spinning around. Gran Torino let out a small groan as did Endeavor. Shigaraki slowly spun around, and then saw Izuku glaring at him. "Try what you will!" He wasn't fazed as he gave a big grin. "One for All and Galaxy will be mine!"
Katsuki's finger twitched from the pin that was attached to his gauntlet. He gave a murderous grin towards the villain. Izuka summoned her bow, holding the string back as she focused her aim. Think you can ignore me? Heh. You're dumber than you look! He was above Shigaraki's head while Izuka was coming in from behind.
"Can't you see he's just the bait, ya moron?!" He shouted while unleashing the pin and Izuka fired off the comet arrow. The large explosions hit Shigaraki, surrounding him in fire. The two watched as he fell and then Izuku jumped up.
"Smash!" He screamed while spinning around and kicking Shigaraki up into the sky. Endeavor gritted his teeth while clenching a fist.
"You and I are not the same person," Toshinori informed while they sat together. They watched Shoto, Katsuki, and Izuka trying to appeal to the kids. "Take your time. And just ask yourself. What kind of hero do you want to be?"
Endeavor narrowed his eyes, unfazed. So what if I can't beat you by myself? His fiery wings appeared on his back to give him more flight. He headed for Shigaraki, clenching his fist that was on fire. "Vanishing Fist!" He growled out while punching Shigaraki in the gut.
Mr. Aizawa, Locklock, and Manual looked up in shock as the flames then disappeared seconds later...
The video feed was still invisible to the Heroes Safety Commission's side. "We still haven't had any contact with the team in Jaku City!" They had tried and failed to reconnect with the heroes.
"People in the evac zone have spotted pillars of fire near the remains of the hospital!" One of the operators informed the team.
"The press caught some of them on camera, but we haven't been able to discover what's causing them." This was thanks to the dust cloud being too much for any cameras to get closer.
"Pillars of fire?" One of the commissioners murmured as it sounded familiar.
"Could be Endeavor—we have eyes on him?"
"Team Edgeshot has confirmed that Yotsubashi is at the Gunga Villa," Another operator stated, getting their attention.
"The villains are putting up substantial resistance, so they haven't captured him yet."
"The heroes were able to trap many enemies underground by sealing off the exits, but fighting continues on the surface level!"
Meanwhile, the rear guard of Team Edgeshot was at the standby site. Kyoka moved her earphone jack away from the grass. She gasped sharply, looking a bit freaked out.
"Uh oh, what's the matter, Jiro Jack?" Denki wondered as he, Juzo, and Kinoko had rejoined the group at this point.
"This is bad, guys!" She looked at them in a panic. "There's something massive underneath the compound. And it's moving!" And by massive...she was referring to Gigantomachia awakening by Shigaraki's orders.
Mr. Compress flinched as he stood up in alarm as Gigantomachia reached out his hand. Dabi wasn't fazed in the slightest. "Whoa, whoa, wait!" He shouted as Dabi jumped away from him. "Stop! What do you think you're doing?!" Mr. Compress protested as the creature grabbed him by the waist. "Unhand me this instant!"
Gigantomachia got onto his feet, looking around. Mr. Compress turned to see Spinner right next to him. "Stole you from your perch as well?"
"Yeah, I was in the big hall," He informed, as he had stayed where he was the whole time. "Next thing I knew, this big oaf was carrying me away."
Himiko was on Gigantomachia's back as well, but still nude. Luckily, the jagged skin of the creature was covering it. "He grabbed me right when I was getting stabby..." She frowned in disapproval, a scar over her face. She had wanted to keep killing off the heroes, but she would have to wait on that...
Mr. Compress yelped in alarm to see her state, blushing in embarrassment at her indecency. "Here! A spare costume," He flicked his turquoise ball that held clothes for her. He held onto it just in case she did use her Quirk around them, because he learned to do so after the Hassaikai raid... "Cover yourself, my dear!"
She blinked as the clothes appeared on her head.
Dabi stepped down the staircase, as he had a good feeling on why Gigantomachia was doing this. "Shigaraki must really be awake. Machia has got a hell of a nose on him. And he seems dead set on taking us along." He jumped as Gigantomachia tried to grab him, and he would rather not be touched. He landed nearby, looking up at the giant. "Not so fast, big guy. There's someone here I've still got use for," He looked over his shoulder.
Skeptic was typing at his computer to operate from the sidelines as usual. He yelped as Dabi stood in front of him.
"Did I ever mention I liked you from the second I laid eyes on you, weirdo?" The stitched man gave him a grin, as he had something in mind involving Skeptic...
"What are you taking about?" Skeptic demanded, as part of him did not want to know what Dabi was planning.
"Hey, Machia," He looked over his shoulder. "We're taking him with us."
"Huh?" Skeptic looked up wide-eyed. He didn't want to go anywhere with them, because he had to help out Re-Destro where he was. Plus, he was essential to the liberation army's tactics. "You can't. No! My duty's here!" He protested as a shadow loomed over him...
A bunch of icicles were being flung towards Mt. Lady. She grunted as she rapidly used the baseball bat against them as quickly as he could. Thanks to her anger, she wasn't running out of stamina. Geten let out a growl as he flew backwards on a flying ice platform. He heard an explosion and then glanced back towards the villa. Mt. Lady looked up in confusion...and finally noticed Gigantomachia.
"Does anyone wanna fill me in here?" Spinner wondered as he had no idea of what was going on. Himiko was adjusting her clothes as Dabi was holding onto Skeptic once they finally got onto Gigantomachia's back.
"The boss is back in the game," Dabi simply informed the League member. "It's the only reason this overgrown rock would act up."
"Isn't it a little earlier than we planned?" Himiko pointed out to the others, as they knew how long Shigaraki was supposed to be away.
Gigantomachia sniffed the air and got Shigaraki's scent right away. "Master...Master!" He then took a step forward, causing some of the liberation members to brace themselves. Gigantomachia then took off into a run, panting as Mt. Lady stood in his way. She tossed the bat and then held out her arms to hold him back.
"Not...today!" She grunted out, as she knew that she couldn't let him escape. Her foot started to slide backwards, leaving some heroes in the dust.
"Oh, crap!"
Gigantomachia managed to step forward, pushing Mt. Lady back with all of his strength. And he was succeeding too, because right now, she couldn't hold him back much.
"Don't let him overpower you, Mt. Lady!" One of her teammates called out from below.
"Easier said than done, huh, big guy?" She growled out to the creature. "You better not make me look bad!"
He continued to push her with no issue, as nothing was going to stop him from reaching Shigaraki.
Kyoka's earphone jack twitched as she got a read on Gigantomachia's location. "The gigantic thing is heading our way!" She reported to the others, listening closely.
"Okay," Denki walked up in a bit of concern. "How big of a thing are we talkin' about here?"
"I have no idea," She looked up, as she wished that she could tell just by the footsteps.
Luckily, they had Mezo, who took a look for himself. "Can you see it?" Eijiro wondered as Mezo had raised his arm as high as he could.
"No, it's too far out," He said reluctantly; and with no one around who could fly, he couldn't get a better look.
"Uh, I thought we had the upper hand," Mina couldn't help but point out, looking towards Momo.
"The last update we received said the operation was going according to plan. But, I dunno..." She stated with a bit of unease, as she had a strong feeling that something was definitely off.
"What?" One of the heroes on their team muttered in bewilderment. "So he's broken through the perimeter?" Momo let out a nervous gasp as she looked up, knowing that whatever the gigantic thing was...the heroes up front were unable to stop it. "Pros, move in as reinforcements! Work study students, remain on standby!"
The others watched as the heroes ran off and left them behind.
"There's, like, a whole army of heroes at the front, yeah?" Minoru spoke up their concerns. From the trees, a bunch of rocks were flying away. "How's it possible things are falling apart...?"
Mt. Lady grunted as she tried with all of her might to even stop Gigantomachia, but it was impossible. He continued to move like she wasn't even there, like he only had one focus in mind. "Why the hell are you so stupidly strong?!" She grunted out in disbelief.
"Stop this!" Skeptic looked up at Dabi adamantly. "I need to go back and help Re-Destro!" Not only because he was one of the most loyal members of Re-Destro, but because without him, the Gunga Villa would have a huge disadvantage.
"Not so loud," Dabi put a finger to his lips. "As far as I can tell, the heroes haven't figured out that Machia's carrying passengers yet." And he'd rather keep it that way as an element of surprise, since the heroes would stop everything to grab them if they were reported to no longer be at the villa.
"I've been waiting!" Gigantomachia cried out happily. "Master! I'm here and soon I'll be at your side!"
"Hold on, you can talk?!" Mt. Lady yelped in surprise that he was capable of speech. Yet he didn't look anything like a Nomu. So it confused her on just how he was formed, but she had no time to question it now.
The heroes had managed to catch up to the two. "I don't get it! They said the walking disaster wasn't going to be a factor," One of them reminded in bewilderment, as they didn't think Gigantomachia would even move, so he should not have been an issue.
"What's going on in Jaku?"
"Let's focus on supporting Mt. Lady!"
"It's no good, he's too far away!" None of them could fire their Quirks with how much distance there was between them and Gigantomachia. Not that it would change anything anyway.
"And he's too strong!"
Icicles then flew down from above, catching the other heroes at the villa off guard. "Oh, right. We still gotta deal with this guy!" They could see Geten flying around.
"This is madness," He grunted out, as the fight had gotten far out of hand at this point. Plus, there hadn't been a single other lieutenant in sight. "We need order!" A bunch of mud came flying towards Geten, engulfing him in it. "What the?!" He yelped as he had no time to counteract it.
"No matter what happens, as heroes, we must all stake our lives on this mission!" Cementoss shouted as he was the one responsible for capturing Geten.
Meanwhile, Re-Destro was battling Edgeshot. "I don't care for this in the least!" He gritted his teeth, as he had some sense of what was going on. Gigantomachia's gone. That means...Tomura Shigaraki has awakened prematurely! He looked up wide-eyed, thinking that something happened to Shigaraki by the heroes. Otherwise, Gigantomachia wouldn't have left. "He is our savior. Our emancipator. What did you meddlers do to him?!"
His power emanated off of him, Fat Gum noticing it from his spot. Several heroes were knocked backwards from the shockwave while Edgeshot wasn't affected in the slightest. He managed to maneuver around the attack thanks to his Quirk.
"New orders, true believers!" Re-Destro called out to the army members. "We must follow Gigantomachia! Start the revolution! Liberation is upon us!"
Mt. Lady continued to be pushed back by Gigantomachia while the heroes kept their eyes on them. "I thought I told you to stand down, dammit!" She shouted up at the creature.
"Master! I'll take the shortest route to you!" He was essentially ignoring Mt. Lady's attempts and orders.
"I know you can hear me!" She shouted from him continuing to not acknowledge her.
Kamui Woods had Midnight on his back, using his wooden arms on the trees to keep them in the air. "Get closer!" She instructed him while staring at the two giants.
"I'm trying!" With the speed they were going at, it was difficult to get in closer. "Lady! Keep at it!"
Her face was getting red from exhaustion, but she pushed herself through it. "No...sweat!" She let out a scream as her nose was getting bloody from increasing her limit. If she failed to keep pushing him back, he'd hurt a lot of innocent people in the process, and she couldn't have that.
Gigantomachia sniffed the air to lock onto Shigaraki's scent. "I will not be held back!" He then grabbed Mt. Lady by the leg, causing her to yelp as he lifted her up. She held onto his waist, Kamui Woods gasping in worry for his teammate. Gigantomachia then threw Mt. Lady to the side out of his way. She grunted as she slid back into some trees.
"Takeyama!" Kamui Woods cried out in concern.
"Keep your eyes trained on him," Midnight advised, as she didn't want to lose sight of the creature. "He has got to be stopped!"
"I've got him," He vowed to keep her up in the air for Mt. Lady.
"It's possible that Endeavor's Team already failed," She theorized, since Hawks told them that only Shigaraki would be able to get the giant to move. "If this monster stampedes through Jaku City...it will be an unthinkable disaster!" She already knew that nothing would prevent Gigantomachia from plowing through the city, because he wanted to reach Shigaraki. A bunch of people and buildings wouldn't faze him at all. Midnight ripped off her sleeve with her mouth. "Get me in his face, I may be able to put him to sleep. Now's our chance!"
"On it!" He managed to get up higher and closer, and let out a sharp gasp. Dabi's flames burst from the jagged back of the giant.
"See?" He grinned towards the others, glad that no one gave them away. "Now we get to surprise them, you guys!"
Midnight let out a sharp gasp as the flames burned the wood holding her. She flew right past Dabi, Skeptic, and Mr. Compress.
"Here! A gift!' Mr. Compress threw some of his compress orbs towards her.
The League's on his back? The orbs activated, unleashing some debris that Mr. Compress got from the villa. Damn it! She grunted as thanks to the speed the debris was going at, it managed to knock her away from Gigantomachia.
"Don't underestimate the heroes!" Mr. Compress warned Dabi, as they had done that multiple times in the past.
Midnight fell towards the forest and then crashed into the ground. As a result, the impact left her weaker. She shook as she tried to figure out what to do. Whose Quirk...can stop that beast? She tried to think of someone who could reach Gigantomachia without having to get close to the League. Because they would no doubt stop any hero in their tracks with ease... She let out a weak breath, trying to get up. Her face was covered in blood now. Majestic? No. It's too big for him...he'd end up trampled. She was shaking while trying to come up with something...anything. They never planned for Gigantomachia's awakening, so now she was trying to determine what would stop him.
"We failed..." She murmured in dismay, squeezing her eyes shut. If they didn't do something quick, Jaku City would be in danger... "We weren't enough..."
"Wait, so Mt. Lady got thrown outta the way?" Minoru looked up at Mezo in shock, who had seen what happened.
"Yes. And I saw blue flames," He nodded; he didn't have a good look to see who it was, though. Or of what happened to Midnight.
"Creati? Can you hear me?" Midnight's weak voice spoke up to her, as their comms weren't broken.
"Ms. Midnight?" She asked in alarm, wondering what was happening.
"Oh good, she'll tell us what to do," Rikido looked back in a bit of relief.
"You know what's coming, don't you?" Midnight implored to the girl.
"Yes," She gave a small nod. "Jiro heard it first and Shoji has visuals."
Midnight shook a little, knowing that they were the last hope that the heroes had in stopping the giant... "No one in our ranks can stop that thing with force," Her eyes shook as she had faith in her decision. "We need you." Momo gasped sharply at the request, knowing that they weren't supposed to be fighting. Not to mention, it was a lot to ask of them. "I know I shouldn't ask...but given the circumstances...you must sedate him!"
"But that—what are you saying, ma'am?" Momo wondered, and was also concerned of her teacher's state for her to ask.
"Make tranquilizers for the pros," She instructed the girl, ignoring the question because it was urgent. "And then get out of there. Fast!" She let out a weak gasp as the heroes were trying to catch up to Gigantomachia. "If you can't do that, then run, right now."
"Our Creati will grow into a top-class leader one day," Midnight said after having seen Momo's fight against Itsuka in joint training.
Someone then jumped up from behind Midnight, causing her to turn around with sharp eyes. "It's up to you, be strong!" She implored to Momo, who was now alarmed.
"What's going on? Ms. Midnight, are you still there?" She questioned in a panic, but got no response.
"I'm confused," Rikido looked down at Mina. "What does she want?"
"Sounds like Yao-momo's in charge now," She murmured, as they had overheard everything.
"If she wants to put him to sleep, why doesn't she just do it herself?" Minoru couldn't help but wonder, as he had a bad feeling that something just happened to Midnight. Otherwise, she wouldn't have told Momo the instructions to begin with...
"Yeah, I mean, is she okay?" Denki looked towards Momo anxiously.
Momo herself was pretty nervous herself, as it was putting her on the spot. But...she had a wrenching sensation in her that said Midnight wouldn't be able to help them anymore. And it almost felt like she was having her self-confidence issues all over again...
Make a sedative and give it to the pro heroes...? But they've already left to help the advance guard. So, should we flee? She said to run in either case She knew that there was no way that they'd be able to catch up to the heroes in time.
"I know I shouldn't ask...but given the circumstances..."
Her eyes furrowed as she could tell Midnight had been injured, and yet...the woman said nothing about her state, not even reassuring them about her. She must be hurt. I could hear it in her voice. But she didn't ask us to help her. That's how strong the enemy is.
Gigantomachia was still plowing through the trees.
Momo put her hands to her head, knowing that they weren't going to be able to fight against the giant. And that Midnight wouldn't want them to. But they couldn't just leave everyone else in grave danger either, and if they did this...they might be going against orders.
Oh, Ms. Midnight, what do I do?
An explosion went off, causing Mina to gasp as she looked towards the smoke in the distance. "We can't just stand here!"
"Are we running away with our tail between our legs?" Eijiro implored, as he had no interest in doing that.
"No way! Without putting up a fight?" Rikido argued back while Momo felt stuck. She didn't know what they should do...
"Leaving a teacher behind?" Denki asked next; despite the serious situation at hand, they didn't feel right running away. Especially compared to what the twins, Shoto, and Katsuki would've done if they were there.
Izuka blinked and then gave a small smile. "Silly Yao-Chan. Friends are meant to worry about each other...so if you feel like you need someone to talk to, I'll always be there for you no matter what."
"...Thank you, Mido. I hope this teaches us to become better friends," Momo smiled happily at her.
That's right...Mido would support the other heroes like she did for me! With that, she made her decision. "Right! Earphone Jack and Tentacole! Use sound to track his approach and calculate how long it'll take him to get here!" She ordered the two recon members. "Get a rough estimate of his size too. Mudman, please lend us your strength as well! Everyone, be prepared to move!"
"Crap, even I can see that thing now!" Kyoka looked up ahead, getting eyes on Gigantomachia. "He's so fast. He'll be here in less than a minute!" She then gasped as she noticed something. "No, something changed! He's slowed down a little..."
Mt. Lady grunted as she had gotten back up and grabbed onto his leg, which was where the slowing down was coming from. "You'll pay for this!" She cried out as Kamui Woods was on top of her head, hanging on as well. "I haven't clung to a guy since I was in middle school!"
Mezo looked up wide-eyed. "He's approximately 25 meters tall! Bigger than Mt. Lady!"
A few capsules fell to the ground, created by Momo. She continued to let them fall from her arms, looking up ahead in determination. "It's been a year since we enrolled at UA High. And in that brief period of time, our teachers taught us that a real hero never turns their back or runs from an enemy!" She thought of when Izuka insisted on helping out All Might in Kamino...and that was what inspired her to do this.
"Yeah, you got that right!" Eijiro agreed with her, holding a capsule himself.
"Uh-huh!" Mina nodded in agreement next to him.
"Couldn't have said it better myself," Rikido remarked as the others were holding capsules too. "So what now?"
"It's my choice," Momo glared down at the object. "And I will fight! As for you all-"
"No way," Denki interrupted before she could even finish. "Don't even. When we suit up and we're outside the school, we're all heroes!" And everyone that was from Class 1-A and 1-B agreed with him.
"Alright, very well," Momo stated, knowing that she didn't need to question it. A burst of blue flames appeared in the distance, having come from Dabi. "Together. As one!" She turned around while holding up the capsule. "We'll take down this villain!"
