Sonic and the Freedom fighters

Hi everyone, this is mastershadow, I'm doing a sonic game timeline along with some side stories, but with the freedom fighters and many more friends, even six certain characters from another world which will be merged later on (forgot to mention that), including chronicles because I liked the game, but the story could be a little better along with the planned sequel, I'm also adding the events from the idw comics because they're awesome, also Sally won't hook up with sonic for a while until way later, but for now enjoy.

Advance part 3, Knuckles friend or foe again?

The group was walking through angel island.

"Angel island really is amazing," Twilight said."

Suddenly, a badnik snuck up behind them until it was hit by a spear. they turned around to see Kat.

"Hi Kai!" Pinkie said."

"Hey guys, you searching for an emerald?" Kat asked."

"Yup," Sonic replied." want to join?"

"Sure, Knuckles saw Eggman around here searching for an emerald, so he went to find it before him," Kat replied." And Julie-su went with him."

"Sounds good to us," Scarlet said." (sees a little red creature resembling Knuckles on Kat's arm) "Uh Kat, what's that?"

"Oh this, this is a chao," Kat replied."

A Choa?" Fluttershy asked."

"Yeah, and I named him Chuckles," Kat replied." I'll explain as we go on."

They go through the island as Kat explains.

"You see, from Edmund's notes, these Choa's have been around for years even longer than humans and Mobians," Kat said."

"That's really something," Applejack said."

"They're mostly seen around the master emerald," Kat said." Couldn't see why though."

"Well, it's something I'll help study them later," Twilight said."

"Heads up! badniks!" Nicky said."

The badniks attack the group but they take them down.

"I'm surprised the dark legion hasn't attacked." Dash said."

"I know not since the guardian robot fiasco," Kat said."

"It still upsets me what Eggman did to your parents," Rainbow Dash said."

"I know, but I got a new home and family now," Kat said."

They continue on.

"We didn't find a spring yet," Sonic said."

"Spring?" Kat asked."

Sally explains about the springs leading them to the chaos emeralds.

"Ah, there might be one somewhere," Kat said."

They continue on until they found one.

"See, told you," Kat sad."

She jumps on it and is sent to the air into the special stage. She rides a board and starts collecting rings. She returns with the cyan emerald.

"Nice work Kat," Tunnel said."

"Thanks," Kat said."

"Now we just need one more," Sonic said."

They continue on, until they run into what looks like Knuckles except his gloves are yellow.

"Hey Knuckles, did give that egghead the slip?" Sonic asked." And where's Julie-su?"

Suddenly, Knuckles strikes Sonic.

"What the heck Knuckles?!" Sonic said."

"What's your problem?" Sonia asked."

Knuckles was about to attack again until an uppercut appears from underground sending Knuckles flying and gets blasted. the duo revealed to be Knuckles and Julie-su.

"Knuckles? Julie-su?" Sally asked."

"We knew Eggman was up to something, so we followed him and found this faker," Knuckles said."

The other Knuckles gets up revealing to be a robot called Mecha Knuckles.

"Let me deal with this faker," Knuckles said."

He fights it until it shoots a missile.

"Look out!" Knuckles said."

Suddenly with her strength, Kat punches the missile back towards the Mecha Knuckles destroying him. everyone was surprised.

"Wow, that was awesome!" Rainbow dash said."

"Thanks, I just hate cheap knock offs," Kat said."

Eggman appears.

"Useless robot!" he said as he flies away."

Another capsule appears and Kat frees the mobinis.

"We'll go after him," Sonic said." Let's go."

"We're coming with you," Knuckles said as Julie-su and Kat nod."

"Alright," Sonic said."

They leave to the next zone.

They entered the egg rocket zone. Tails is seen pouting.

"What's bro?" Sonic asked."

"Well, how come you and Knuckles got robot copies, and I got that creepy doll?" Tails asked."

"That's a good question actually," Sonic replied."

"Never really crossed our minds," Knuckles said." Or his."

"We'll worry about that later, we got one more emerald to look for," Sally said."

They start moving until they felt a shake.

"What's happening?" Ben asked."

"It looks like this place is splitting apart," Nicole replied."

"Before it goes into orbit, that's crazy," Renee said."

"But this is Eggman," Rotor said."

"We better get to the next section fast," Dash said."

"How long do we got Nicole?" Sally asked."

"5 minutes," Nicole replied."

They hurried to the next section. they made it as the section breaks off.

"That was close," Antonie said."

"We got to keep going," Bunnie said."

They made to the next section as the other comes off. Twilight looks out the window in awe.

"I can't believe it, we're in space!" She said excitedly."

"Is she always like this?" Scarlet asked."

"Pretty much," Applejack replied."

"Eggman now, admire space later," Scarlet said."

They continue on and made it to the end of the egg rocket. They entered the cosmic angel zone.

"This is the last stand," Sonic said."

"Maybe the last emerald is somewhere around here," Tails said."

"Maybe," Sonic said." One way to find out."
