Sonic's POV*

I don't know how long it has been since the first attack on the station. Everything happened so quickly that I struggled to convince myself everything would be okay. I tried to fight back, but it ended in disaster when one of the strange creatures attacked and broke my leg.

After witnessing scientists and crew members being slaughtered, I limped as fast as I could to the main computer room to send an emergency message. However, I soon realized that communication with Mobius had been cut off, which terrified me to my core. I couldn't warn my friends about the situation at the station. Everything felt hopeless until I remembered someone—a bounty hunter I had fought alongside with Mario.

"Samus... she's my only hope now," I muttered to myself as I typed out the emergency message. I didn't even check to see if I had accidentally typed something else instead of Samus. The sounds of the creatures outside the computer room kept me on edge, and I knew I had to hide before they found me. After finishing the message and sending it out into the emptiness of space, I quickly concealed myself under some debris in the room and stayed completely quiet as the creature growled and hissed just outside.

It felt like days had passed, even though it had only been about nine hours since the attack. I felt sick to my stomach as I heard the sounds of the creatures still nearby. I couldn't shake the pressure of knowing I was the only survivor at the station. Then, I heard blasting sounds and the creatures crying out in pain. That's when I knew she was here.

I heard the metal footsteps of the bounty hunter entering the room. She surveyed the area and noticed the computer I had used to send the emergency message, not realizing I was hiding there. After much thought, I decided to call out to Samus to get her attention. I got up despite my injured leg and moved toward her, but in doing so, I accidentally knocked something over, creating a noise that startled Samus. She pointed her arm cannon at me, and I shouted, "SAMUS, WAIT, IT'S ME!" This caused her to shudder backward in shock at seeing me. "It can't be... SONIC?!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide at my condition.

I knew she couldn't believe me in the state I was in.
