Regaining his composure, Farley shook his head and said to Lisa: "Just a minor setback. I can do this." then he took a deep breath as he saw more robots coming out to be torn to pieces by the dog's supersonic bark. There was now a line of about twenty of them and were all walking up to the Bernese dog. But this time, Farley was more prepared and took a deep breath, and let out another powerful bark. This time, it was more powerful than the first one.

"First a couple of teenagers getting superpowers, and a dog gets superpowers? And can talk like a person?!" said Polluter in his tube. "Has the world gone crazy?!"

Now Farley was slowly getting the hang of it, and he made a great leap, jumping over the group of twenty dummy robots that would put a pronghorn jumping to shame. The superheroes got another shock, and it was so unexpected. Farley used his teeth to bite into a leg of a robot dummy, and ripped it off the poor mechanical thing like he just ripped off a twig from a tree. This wasn't even hurting Farley's teeth, and the dog did the same to seven other robots with their legs, even munching them to pieces like he was eating ice cubes.

Yes, this was quite a shock to the other superheroes. "Heh, looks like we got ourselves a powerful friend." Said Lori with a smile. "And the best part of it is, he's literally an adorable dog!"

"Heh, and Farley can take on possibly anything that can get in his way." said Lincoln in agreement. "As weird as it is, could be the greatest day that happened to us."

"You can say that again, Lincoln." Said Farkle. "I never thought I'd see a day where my own dog suddenly got superpowers and the ability to use human speech."

"Yeah, it feels like a very weird dream right now." Lori chuckled. "But, I guess it's literally real like the Pacific Ocean."

"So what can we do about disguising him?" Lincoln said. "Like you mentioned; there are not a lot of Bernese mountain dogs in Royal Woods."

"I have already created the solution to that, elder brother." Said Lisa with a black dog mask in her hands. "Behold, the Phantom Eyes! When you put it on Farley's eyes, it will give him a remarkable ."

"Interesting," said Void. "Maybe since he can talk now, then he can try and let me put this mask on him," as Lisa gave him the mask, Void called out: "Farley! Can you come over here please?"

"I'll put the robots on pause." Lisa walked back over to the remote controls to temporarily deactivate her mechanical friends.

"What seems to be important, mes amis?" Said Farley.

"You're in for a real treat, boy." Said Void

Without warning, his dog began baying at the ceiling and bouncing on his human best friend. "A treat? Where?! I want a treat! Please give me a treat!" And he began pawing at Void's chest as he looked excited.

"Whoa there, slow down!" Void laughed. "It't not that kind of tr-" he stopped himself before he could finish that word. "It's a special mask to cover your identity. I know you have wearing clothes but this mask is very comfy and it fits your size."

Looking a little reluctant, Farley gave a small wine, but decided to do it for Void's sake (mostly because Void was giving him puppy eyes of his own). "Mon dieu, very well." said the dog with his eyes closed. Void smiled as he slowly put Lisa's mask on his canine-mug. It didn't really feel uncomfortable over his eyes, but something miraculous happened. A black aura riviled around the pooch, and engulfed him completely until he transformed into a new kind of dog. A scary-intimidating dog with fur as black as soot, and his eyes as red as ruby that glew like beacons was beheld in front of his colleagues. Another terrifying feature of this new form was teeth aa sharp as the sharpest of kitchen knives.

Everyone looked terrified of this form that Farley had just experienced. On top of it all, the Bernese had a few lines of black, smoke-like aura moving around him as if he was a dog from the Underworld.

"Oh mon dieu." Said Farley. "What happened to me?"

"Well, you transformed into something... what's the word for it? Terrofying." Lori pointed

"And awesome." Said Lincoln

Void pulled out a mirror for Farley to look at himself in. The dog let out a small yelp and lept back in surprise. "Is that me?"

"I'm afraid it is." Void said.

"Lisa, what did you put in that mask?" Asked Lori, sounding a little suspicious.

"Oh just a little bit of chemicals and a pinch of cremated ash from Grand Grandma Harriet. Oh! Don't tell Lucy though."

"That literally explains everything." Lori narrowed her eyes, not looking amused.

"i've only wanted to help Farley get into the kind of outfit that would suit him, since Void is his owner."

"I'm more than his owner." Void pointed. "I am Farley's best friend."

"Right." Lisa said. "forgive me. So now we have a duo of dark-themed mutagenic superheroes to fight by your side."

With his eye twitching, hardly believing that this is happening, Polluter then fainted, lying flat on his back.

Later on in the day, it was a cool, cold evening as the sun was setting over the horizon. Lori was sitting in the tire swing under the tree in the backyard as she was watching another daytime go and another nighttime arrive.

"Lori?" Said Lincoln, "you doing ok?"

"Yeah, yeah, i'm fine, Lincoln." Lori replied.

"Pretty crazy day we had earlier,"

Lori made a small chuckle and said: "literally one if the craziest days i have ever experienced. A dog that went from a normal one to a talking one with superpowers. What else can happen?"

"Pigs growing wings and flying?" Said Lincoln before he and his sister had a good laugh.

"Right?" Then Lori thought of something. "Lincoln, we're a team, right?"

"Yep."

"You are my little brother and I love you."

Looking touched, Lincoln replied "i love you too, Lori."

"Remember when you were a baby?"

"I... don't i mean i was very little and most baby's memories are not so great."

"Heh. That's true also."

"Why?"

"Well i remember when I first held you in my arms when you first came home and be part of the family. All the fun times we had together like me feeding you your food on the high chair. And how much of a messy baby you were."

"Oh I wasn't that messy." Said Lincoln

"ho ho, yes you were. There's a picture of how you were covered in peanut butter after finding a cup of it."

"Ok, i think i do remember that." Lincoln looked slightly embarrassed.

"I literally swear, you were the cutest baby i have ever seen."

"Was I?" Asked Lincoln. "It's a pretty big family after all, and Lily's still a baby."

"Right." Lori smirked
