In the Heavenly hospital, Michael had been sitting by Lucifer's hospital bed for days now. Not wanting to leave his brother's side until he woke up.

"Michael?" A voice asked.

Michael looked over and saw Uriel coming into the room.

"What is it, Uriel?" He asked.

"You need to rest, it's getting late." Uriel said.

"Archangels don't need to rest unless they have fallen." Michael said, turning back to Lucifer. "No, I will not leave this spot until Lucifer wakes up."

Uriel looked at his brother, knowing he is worried.

"You two always were the closest." Uriel said, pulling a chair over and sitting down in front of Michael, "You two are the second and third born of Father, created from the same galactic collapse. Fathers warrior and Light Bringer... you two are the strongest of us... when Lucifer wakes up, we need him and you to be at your best so we can stop Roo."

Michael looked down.

"There is no stopping her, it took father centuries to capture her using the most powerful weapon in existence..." Michael said, remembering the strongest weapon in all of the Heavens wielded by their father. "Even if Azazel was here, she would never be able to forge a weapon like that again."

"... Fucking pessimist." A weak voice said.

Uriel and Michael jolted as they looked over and saw Lucifer with his eyes barely open.

"Lucifer!" They shouted in surprise.

"That's my name, don't wear it out." Lucifer said, chuckling before groaning. "Oh fuck! It hurts to laugh."

"Yeah, of course it hurts, you have a literal hole in your side." Michael said, before looking at Uriel, "Go get Raph."

Uriel nodded and left the room.

"Lucifer... despite it not being possible... you're going to give me a heart attack one day." Michael said, holding bis chest.

Normally, Lucifer would be quick witted and joke around. Not now though.

"I'm sorry." Lucifer said, looking at the bed. "I knew it was her and... I... I just had to stop her."

"Sammy, you didn't have to do that alone." Michael said, putting a hand in Lucifer's shoulder. "We're brothers and family, we always help each other out. No matter what."

Lucifer looked away. He didn't say anything. More likely, he couldn't say anything right now.

Eve/Roo, she was created because of HIM! Because of his desire to have his ideas be brought forth in his youth, the most evil being in all three realms was created.

And he failed to stop her, he failed to undo the mistake he made from a millennium ago.

"I'll go talk to the others, let them know you're awake." Michael said as he got up.

"…Can you bring me some food too? I think that hole in my stomach made me twice as hungry." Lucifer said, somewhat joking.

"On it, brother." Michael said as he left and Lucifer was left in the hospital room alone.

He didn't want anyone to see him like this. Not only was he physically damagaed but he was mentally damaged. He had been for a long time… his biggest mistake… she was back and he didn't know if he was strong enough to face her again. He only got lucky this time.

"I-I'm so fucking pathetic." Lucifer said, clenching his sheets as he began to cry. "I couldn't protect heaven, I couldn't protect my family... what kind of angel am I?"

'Charlie, Emily, Lucy…what if Roo goes after them next?' Lucifer thought, feeling greater fear than before as he feverishly dried his eyes. 'I can't let that happen! I won't let that happen! I have to get stronger and stop Roo before that ever happens! I can't-I WON'T let her touch my family!'

As Lucifer was having a mental break down, the other archangels were talking.

"Are you sure Lucifer is alright?" Azrael asked, crossing his arms.

"Just a little pain when he laughs but it's fine." Uriel said.

"I'll go try and heal him a bit more." Raphael said, "Might be easier now that he can tell me what hurts most."

"Let me go make him some food too. He said he was starving." Jophiel said, planning to make Lucifer some food instead of giving him hospital food.

Heaven or not, a home cooked meal is always better than hospitol food.

"Now that he's awake, we must discuss this." Michael said, becoming serious. "The only way to beat the Root of All Evil, if with father's sword, which as you all know, was hidden by father himself."

"Which results in a problem, as we don't have time to find it." Uriel said, "What do you suggest? Make another?"

"No... I don't think that would be possible even if Azazel was here." Michael said, "... But we do need to find her."

Michael snapped his fingers and a broken sword was summoned. On the Hilt was a name.

-Samael-

"Only she can fix this." Michael said.

"She won't listen to us." Gabriel said, "We don't even know where she is."

"No... but Emily might." Michael said, "She knows more about hell than we do, if anyone could find her, it's the princess of the realm she was sent to."

"But she may not listen to Emily." Jophiel said.

"Then we'll send Sera with her... she'll listen to her... she has to."

"... I'll send Sera a message." Gabriel said, taking the sword and going to find Sera.

This could be the best chance they have to kill Roo because if not, then the entire existence of the universe could be at risk.
