Yokori Ayanami Yonsei was the feared, cold-hearted heir of the biggest and successful world-class conglomerate. He grew to world-fame for being the controversial successor to the rising Ayanami Group. Controversial, because Yokori was known for being nicknamed "The Devil" or "The Demon Prince of the Ayanami Empire" due to his stern personality, mysterious origins, and a family issue he was greatly involved. He was the adopted son to the late President of the Ayanami Group, Satoru Ayanami. Yokori, who was originally named Kazuya Mikami, was adopted from an orphanage by Satoru at the age of three, and was renamed after Satoru's grandfather, Yokori Ayanami Sansei. Satoru doted on Yokori so much, even more than his three legitimate children. It was perhaps due to Yokori being a genius at such a young age. Satoru's wife and children loathed Yokori greatly for being his favorite child. This resentment went on until they became adults, but they managed to act civil right in front of Satoru.
When Satoru died from a heart attack, Yokori suspected that his adopted father was actually murdered by his own family due to the inheritance he would leave. When he demanded who among them did this, they retorted to put the blame back to him since he was the one closest to Satoru among them all. They believed that Yokori tempted their father to give him everything he wanted, just as how the devil would do.
At first, Yokori was determined to find out who the murderer was. He wanted justice for the man who loved and raised him. But when the late Satoru's last will was read in front of everyone, including the media, he suddenly found himself in an unexpected situation.
Yokori was announced to be Satoru's only heir.
This instantly incurred the ire of Satoru's wife and children, who protested furiously at this and suspected Yokori of blackmailing their father to make him his sole successor. A baseless accusation which Yokori denied. Indignant at the decision, Satoru's legal family threatened Yokori, giving him a warning that he must be careful because sooner or later, they will make him pay for stealing their birthright as Satoru's legitimate heirs.
However, Yokori wasn't one to bend to anyone's will nor was he ever afraid of the threats he received from his adopted mother and siblings. He was fearless, formidable, fierce, and a very proud man and he knew he was a winner. There was a reason why he was nicknamed as "The Devil" by those who worked under him. Perhaps, this was the reason why he piqued the God of Destruction's interest in making him his mortal vessel.
One night, Yokori found himself on the verge of death when a ruthless, masked assassin, probably hired by his adopted family to kill him, broke into his home. Even after being beaten and stabbed several times, Yokori fought the faceless killer until he succumbed to the pain of his injuries and lost consciousness. When he opened his eyes, he realized half-awake, that the assassin was about to throw him off the top of a high cliff. It was already too late, and he was clearly still too weak to fight back. He found himself falling helplessly from the cliff into the ground below.
While he plummeted into the ground, he felt something pulsate within his chest, which caused him to open his eyes in surprise. He found a man with black, flame-shaped, spiky hair falling down with him. It was as if the world had slowed down through his perspective as he found himself being pulled with such an irresistible, magnetic force as he stared back into the man's ominous, cold, dark gaze.
"Who are you?" he asked breathlessly.
"I am the God of Destruction, the deity responsible for death and devastation of all that exists in this Universe," the man answered with a voice detached of any emotion.
"God of Destruction?"
Yokori heard of the Urban Legend from his adopted siblings when he overheard them once planning to do that ridiculous ritual, hoping that they could ask some God of Destruction to erase him from their lives. For a moment, he wondered if they did the ritual successfully, though he never actually believed such superstitions and urban legends.
Yokori wanted to laugh out of spite, he wanted to mock his enemies' cowardice, or the unbelievable words of this man in front of him, but he couldn't. Maybe if he wasn't falling to his death, he would have cackled out loud by now and told this man how crazy he was. But then, gazing into those serious, icy, hypnotic, dark eyes staring back at him, and feeling something within his chest jolt, perhaps due to his fear, he instantly knew that this being could be more fearsome and more powerful than anyone he had met before. This guy was so intimidating and dangerous it felt as if he was facing the devil himself.
Yokori thought that this guy was more of a demon than what he could ever become.
It was then when he realized that perhaps, he was going to hell after all and this devilish man was the one tasked to throw him into the lake of fire. Yokori thought that he didn't want to die without giving Satoru the justice he deserved. He wanted to take those people who murdered his adopted father and the assassin behind that mask to hell, and make them suffer for all eternity for what they have done to him.
"Don't worry about it. I will make sure that those humans will pay dearly," the God of Destruction told him.
For some reason, Yokori felt like this wasn't right. There was something about this God of Destruction that told him that he should run for his life, if he could. What does this guy plan to do with him?
But he couldn't run. He just couldn't move at all. Was he that terrified of him that he was unable to move at all? Why was it that despite this man's petite size, he felt so ominous, dangerous, and powerful? How was that even possible?
The God of Destruction slowly pointed his right index finger to him, causing Yokori to let out a whimper, "No... Please... Stop!" as Vegeta poked his chest and whispered, "Kawaru..."
That was the last thing he was aware of before he completely disappeared.
In an instant, Yokori's body flashed a blinding purple light as soon as Vegeta's finger made contact on it. It slowly turned into light particles until it coalesced into a small blue flame. Yokori's clothes dropped to the ground soundlessly as Vegeta gracefully descended, in his right palm floated Yokori's still pulsing core of existence.
"Such a weak ki," he uttered as he observed the core of existence of the mortal human he now held. He let out a smirk. Yes, this could be the perfect disguise for him at the moment.
Focusing his own energy into the blue flame, it instantly changed color to purple.
"Hmph!"
With a loud snort, he clenched his hand into a tight fist as if to crush the flame to nothingness, absorbing the energy of existence of that young man and forcing his own power into it. As he did that, all of Yokori's memories flashed at the back of his mind as if he was playing the video of Yokori's entire life in fast forward. Vegeta gathered all the necessary information he needed before picking up the clothes and things Yokori just dropped on the ground.
Once he was clothed with Yokori's tuxedo, Vegeta looked up to the top of the cliff where Yokori fell a few moments ago. His onyx eyes lit up with a fierce magenta glow as he set his mind into fulfilling his chosen vessel's last wish.
For the entire evening, Vegeta hunted down the assassin, and all of Yokori's remaining adopted family. Now that he has become Yokori Ayanami Yonsei, he would gladly show them what a real demon is like. He enjoyed the fear he bestowed upon each of them until they became a hopeless bunch of scums before he destroyed their existences one by one. He decided to simply erase them out of their existence instead of throwing them to hell like Yokori would have wanted. By doing so, he would become the only legit successor to everything they owned and he will be free of thinking about insignificant mortals coming after him because of the inheritance. He had more important matters to focus on than play along those humans' selfish games about their stupid, earthly riches. Plus, it really doesn't matter since they were already going to die after all.
And so, that was how the God of Destruction, Vegeta Yonsei, became Yokori Ayanami Yonsei, the sole owner of the Ayanami Group, now renamed as the Elite Yonsei Group, the wealthiest and most powerful man on Earth.
Chapter 38: Full Moon in a Parallel World Without You
Vegeta abruptly halted his footsteps when he sensed that something just went utterly wrong. He was walking on the sidewalk, holding two boxes of boneless fried chicken in each hand. Rocky, Braun, and Leiri were busy laughing and talking to each other to notice his sudden change in demeanor.
He turned away from the boisterous boys and dropped the two boxes of food on the streets before he kicked off the ground to make a huge leap into the night sky and landed on the top of one of the four skyscrapers of the Yonsei Hotel.
"Whis! What the hell just happened?!" he harshly hissed. Whis appeared next to him out of thin air.
"What do you mean, milord?" his guide angel asked, confused. Vegeta quickly turned his fierce glare towards Whis angrily, what does he mean by that?
"Didn't you sense what just happened?! Bulma just disappeared again in this world and along with Vanilla Regin! And it's not just her ki just like last time..! It's–!" Vegeta shouted.
Whis blinked at him, puzzled. "Bulma? Vanilla Regin? Who are you talking about?"
Vegeta snapped, "What?! Who?! What do you mean by who?!"
Whis stared back at him oddly.
"My apologies, Vegeta-sama, but I really have no idea who you're referring to. I don't recall anyone associated with you with those names. Perhaps, you're mistaken?"
Vegeta scoffed back at his guide angel, rolling his eyes. "You're kidding me, right? I couldn't care less about Saike Regin's brat but how come even you can't remember who Bulma Briefs is?!"
Whis gazed down at him, not understanding what his young lord was being upset about.
Vegeta scowled. Seeing the perplexed countenance over his guide angel's usually calm and composed visage told him that Whis was also affected by this strange phenomena, whatever this is. Grunting furiously, he dropped down to the ground to pick his food and followed Rocky, Braun, and Leiri to the hotel.
Vegeta observed that nobody even noticed that Vanilla and Bulma were missing. They just went on to eat as if their group was already complete.
Aggravated, the God of Destruction approached Rocky to demand him, "Oi, aren't you even going to look for your girlfriend?" in which Rocky responded with a puzzled look.
"Girlfriend? Who are you talking about?"
"Vanilla! Vanilla Regin! She's your girlfriend, right?"
"Vanilla?"
Rocky turned to his friends, silently asking them for help. Vegeta turned his fierce eyes to observe the humans around him. They were all staring back at him as if he had just lost his mind.
"Vanilla? Who's that?" Mint blinked.
"We don't know anyone named Vanilla Regin, Yonsei-san. Also, I'm single. What's happening to you?" Rocky asked in concern.
Vegeta gave him a portentous glare when Rocky tried to reach out a hand to him, causing the human to be frozen out of fear.
"Bulma Briefs… How about Bulma Briefs? She and Vanilla Regin were just here a few moments ago!"
"Bulma Briefs? Sorry, but Yonsei-san, are you really alright? You're acting a bit odd."
Vegeta slapped Rocky's hand off him.
"The truth or dare game was live, right? Show it to me," he ordered.
Vegeta snatched Braun's smartphone and scanned through the video. Both Bulma and Vanilla were missing in the entire footage as if they weren't there in the first place. His hands shook, his mind racing as he questioned how this happened without him noticing it. Fury reigned over him and he subconsciously crushed Braun's phone to pieces. It was then when his entire demeanor changed and his presence instantly became a formidable one.
Everyone stared at him in pure terror, frightened by the cold, invisible aura he started to emit. Braun wasn't even able to protest at the sight of his phone being crushed to pieces as easily as a playdough by this man's unexpectedly superhuman strength.
Everything seemed to disappear around him as Vegeta turned around, his face cold and devoid of any emotion. At that moment he realized that Bulma's existence could have been erased from this world, nothing mattered to him any longer. He dropped the box of food and walked out. Once he was alone, he quickly teleported to one of Bulma's co-workers in the Ox-King's Sushi Restaurant. Still, there was that tiny hope that someone, anyone aside from him, still remembered his beloved Bulma. He refused to believe what he was thinking just happened.
Krilin was rudely awakened from his peaceful slumber by Vegeta's sinister presence when his Maguro Nigiri-loving customer grabbed the collar of his shirt and demanded where Bulma Briefs was. Confused and disoriented, Krilin automatically responded with, "Who?"
Vegeta rolled his eyes off him. He could clearly hear Krilin's thoughts asking what he was doing there, how he got there, how he knew where he lived, and who Bulma Briefs was. He gritted his teeth in annoyance and hurled Krilin back on the bed. He then disappeared like a ghost when he seemingly passed through the wall when he created a closed space and connected the two spaces between Krilin's bedroom and his other coworkers' bedroom.
Vegeta appeared before Chichi, nearly giving her a heart attack when he suddenly materialized next to her as she drank a glass of water in the middle of the night. Chichi instinctively threw a punch at him while her terrified screams woke her father, Gyumao, up, who immediately rushed into the kitchen with a baseball bat in hand.
Vegeta had easily blocked Chichi's punch, inwardly praising her good moves. Chichi, realizing who he was and how he had easily grabbed her tiny fist, demanded him, "What–?! What are you doing here at this late hour, Vegeta-san?! For Pete's sake, I thought you're some thief!"
Vegeta didn't answer her question as he emotionlessly asked her, "Do you know where Bulma is?"
Chichi and Gyumao looked at each other.
"What? Bulma? Who is that?" she asked, puzzled.
"She works with you in your restaurant."
"I don't recall any of my employees with that name at all," Gyumao stated.
Vegeta frowned. That's weird. Why is it that nobody remembers her at all aside from him? This can't be happening.
Getting pissed, Vegeta suddenly left them and disappeared like a ghost right in front of their eyes. He went to the Sun Wukong Hospital next and asked the doctors and nurses about the patient in room 202, Taitsu Briefs. According to the medical team, she was an only child and survivor of the Pepper Village Massacre.
That was enough confirmation for him. Bulma's existence was completely gone. Vegeta didn't care about Vanilla Regin but where the hell did Bulma go? What happened here?
Why? Why does nobody knows who Bulma Briefs was? Does she not exist anymore? Did her existence suddenly disappear from this world?
No, it feels like she never existed in this world in the first place. How did that happen? He's the God of Destruction of this Universe. If there was anyone who could erase her existence like this, it should only be him. No other God of Destruction from another Universe would do this to him, considering how he was the most powerful among them all.
Also, why does it feel odd? How come only he remembers her? Not even Whis knows who she was at all. Why was it that even his guide angel couldn't recall her? Is this some sort of a joke?! What kind of trickery is this?!
These thoughts ran through his mind as he sauntered on the streets. Whis, who had been looking for him for quite some time, finally found him and asked him what was wrong.
Vegeta turned to face his guide angel, his face filled with rage as he grabbed Whis' forearms and shook him, "Do you really not remember who Bulma Briefs is?!"
Whis simply stared down at him with a bizarre face, wondering how many times must he answer that question.
Vegeta growled, then he shook Whis once more out of his anger. He roared at him, desperately, "Snap out of it, Whis! Why?! Why can't you remember anything?! She was just here a few moments ago!"
Vegeta knew that Whis wasn't lying when he questioned who Bulma was. He could clearly tell if his guide angel was lying to him, he could hear his thoughts and he knew just how lost Whis was just like all those humans he questioned earlier.
"Why are you so upset over this Bulma Briefs, milord? A God of Destruction shouldn't allow himself to be involved with mortals unless it is within your proper duties," Whis told him.
Vegeta looked back up to Whis' unexpectedly cold, stern, purple eyes in utter disbelief. He shook his head, taking a few steps back. He just couldn't believe it. How could a Guide Angel fall into such a trick?
Where the hell was he? This is definitely his Seventh Universe, or was it? Something feels strange about it, he couldn't tell exactly what it was aside from Bulma and Vanilla's existence being gone, but... there's one thing he was sure about.
This isn't his world.
Who the fuck did this?
There was only one person he could think about.
"Whis, take me to Yonshir," he ordered.
"What do you fear the most?"
A mysterious female voice echoing all around her asked. Bulma found herself surrounded by infinite blackness, drifting down into what was the unknown. Where was she? Was she dreaming? What just happened to her? She could barely recall that she was in the elevator with someone just a few moments ago, screaming when she found an ominous-looking woman lurking behind her, asking her where she was going. Somebody pulled her away from that evil thing's grasp and then everything went black for her. Now, here she was, floating in this unknown void, listening to that soft female voice speaking to her.
"I can tell that you are afraid of losing the most important person in your life. Who is that most important person?" the mysterious voice asked her.
"My important person?" Bulma repeated with a whisper. The question brought back a memory from not too long ago, when she decided that she would make someone her most important person because she was afraid of losing something.
A glimmer of light appeared before her, causing her to squint her eyes open and found the mysterious visage of a man with flame-shaped hair whose face was covered in the darkness. She couldn't recognize who he was, although she had this strange feeling that she knew him from a very long time ago.
The voice chuckled, "Listen to your heart, Bulma. You know very well that he is not your most important person. It was someone else. Let me ask you, who are the people whom you long for the most?
"People whom I long for?"
The mysterious being slowly drifted away from her memory and was replaced by the images of her father, mother, and older sister.
"Papa… Mama… Ne-chan…" Bulma called as she reached out to her family but they were too far to be unreachable for her arms.
"Do you miss them?" the voice asked her gently.
A lonely tear fell from her crestfallen eyes as she replied, "Yes. Very much."
"Then, would you want to see them again?"
"Yes. I would give everything in the world just for me to be with them again."
"Is that your wish?"
Bulma nodded, "Yes."
"Then I shall give it to you, in exchange for him. If you let him go, then I will give you back what you lost and long for the most."
Him? Who was him?
Bulma wanted to know who that mysterious man was, she could feel that he was also very important to her, but she knew that deep in her heart, there were other people with whom she longed for the most. People she wanted to be with more than anyone else in the world.
Her family. Her loved ones.
These people were more precious to her than anyone else and she was ready to give up anything for a chance to be together with them once again.
The faceless man slowly disappeared into the light as she made her decision.
Bulma popped her eyes wide open and found her mother looking down at her anxiously. As if trying to make sense of what just happened to her, Bulma just stared back at Panchy for a few seconds as if she had just woken up from a long dream and was unable to believe what she was seeing.
"Ma–mama?" she uttered breathlessly as she gazed back at her mother, wide-eyed. She was as beautiful as she remembered her. With wonderful golden curls, her eyes as bright as a clear blue sky with whom she has inherited her gorgeous cerulean orbs.
Panchy blinked her eyes at her, an odd expression across her face. "Why are you looking at me like that, dear Bulma-chan? It looks like you have seen a ghost. Did you have another one of your nightmares?" she asked, worried.
"Where am I? What just happened to me?" Bulma asked herself as she rose from her bed and looked at her surroundings. This was definitely her bedroom back in her home. The home she once had, not that tiny studio-type apartment she was half-expecting to see.
Her mother laughed at her, "What are you mumbling about, Bulma-chan? You're in your home sweet home, and you just woke up from your deep slumber."
Bulma could feel that there was something wrong in here and she looked back at her mother. She reached out her hand to touch Panchy's face as if to confirm if this was true or just her imagination, and as soon as she felt the warm skin of her mother's delicate face, Bulma instantly knew that she was real.
"Mama?"
"Bulma-chan? What's wrong?" Panchy asked again, gently grabbing Bulma's hand that was caressing her face.
Bulma's eyes began to tear up and she quickly lunged into her mother to give her an embrace.
"Mama!" she cried out as she sobbed onto her mother's shoulders. Panchy was taken aback by her daughter's odd behavior, not exactly knowing why Bulma was suddenly being this clingy to her. She embraced her daughter lovingly and tapped her back in her hopes of giving her some comfort.
"I had a terrible nightmare, mama! I dreamed that you and papa were murdered in a mass shooting and Taitsu-nechan was hospitalized due to coma for more than three years! I was all alone!" Bulma sobbed.
"Now, now, my dear. That nightmare's over. We're all here and fine, don't worry," Panchy assured her.
"Don't leave me. Please don't leave me alone ever again! I miss you! I don't want to lose you like that ever!"
"Yes, dear. We are here, and we will be here together, forever. No matter what."
The door opened and Taitsu peeked in with her bright smile, "What are you being so noisy about early in the morning, Bulma-chan? Come on now, breakfast is ready."
Taitsu was as beautiful as her mother. Her straight blonde hair flowed flawlessly on her back. She was wearing a black shirt underneath her jumper made of jeans.
Bulma pulled away from her mother and grinned happily at her sister, "Taitsu-nechan!" she said as she embraced her older sister tightly.
"What's with you, Bulma-chan? You're being weird!" Taitsu asked her.
"Let her be, she just had another one of her nightmares," Panchy told her.
"Alright, enough of this now. What's with you all of a sudden, huh? Come on and get up before you get late for work. I bet you have lots of paperwork to do again in the office!"
"Office?"
"Hello? Earth to Bulma-chan? Have you forgotten that you are now the President of Capsule Corporation?"
Bulma stared at Taitsu, confused. President of Capsule Corporation? But wasn't she a–? A waitress at some sushi restaurant?
"Geez. Why are you looking so confused? Just what kind of nightmare did you just dream about enough for you to forget reality!" Taitsu asked her with an odd stare.
"Enough of that, girls. Let's go and eat breakfast, okay? Papa might be waiting for us in the dining room," Panchy told her.
"Yes, yes, mom!" the sisters agreed as they went downstairs to eat their breakfast.
Vegeta and Whis appeared in the Yongchun Hwayeon but they didn't find Yonshir on her usual abode. Vegeta tried to search for her ki across his Universe but he couldn't find her at all. This led to his suspicions that this was all her doing.
Yonshir finally arrived at her home and found Vegeta and Whis waiting for her there. The God of Destruction sure was very pissed just as she had expected him to become. She recalled her meeting with Khalua a few moments earlier before she arrived here…
"What are you saying you're putting them up to a test?" Yonshir asked Khalua when he revealed to her what he was planning to do with Vegeta and Bulma.
"This is the only way I see we could save the Multiverse without causing more harm than necessary, Lady Yonshir," Khalua said. "This love is dangerous. This love is destructive. These feelings Vegeta Yonsei shares with Bulma Briefs would bring destruction to the Multiverse if we don't do something to prevent it. And I can't state this more clearly–he is on a different level than anyone else we've seen before. If he reaches his full potential, even the entire heavenly army will be completely wiped out of their existence if we try to take him on. If we didn't want to trigger Vegeta's wrath and prevent him from using his powers to destroy us all, we must not do any harm or destroy Bulma Briefs. The only way for us to break them apart is to allow them to decide for themselves to let go of each other. And for that to happen, we must allow them to choose between one another or what makes them truly happy. Bulma can have her normal life back with her loved ones and Vegeta can become the perfect destroyer we would like him to be and be bound to his duties without any unnecessary distractions."
"I strongly disagree with your plan, Khalua," Yonshir stated. "I highly doubt that Vegeta-chan would even allow this to happen. He's a proud, selfish type of guy. He would choose both and will do anything to get or keep them both. If we tried to take one away from him, he would surely fight back."
"Do you think he would sacrifice Bulma's happiness over his selfishness after knowing that it was because of him that she lost everything and that she will continue to suffer more if they stayed together? I don't think so. His feelings are his weaknesses. He won't be able to stand seeing her in pain because of him. He will let her go himself."
"Don't say I didn't warn you, Khalua. This test of yours may bring us more harm than good."
Whis bowed down before the Goddess of Reality, Time, and Space when he noticed her presence.
"Where did you take my Bulma, Yonshir?" Vegeta demanded her with a cold tone, his countenance furious and seething. Whis turned his eyes on him and sighed. Vegeta approached Yonshir threateningly, grabbing her arm and causing her to flinch. "What have you done this time?! I swear if you higher gods hurt her in any way, I will make you all pay for this!" he snarled.
Vegeta turned his rage-filled glare back to his guide angel when he found his attendant's hand grasping his wrist that was grappling Yonshir's arm.
"Let go, Whis," he warned with a low, seething tone.
Whis shook his head, disagreeing with Vegeta's way of dealing with this problem.
Vegeta sneered, before he rudely snatched his hand off and turned around with a snort, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Explain yourself, Yonshir," he ordered. "Speak up before I decide to unleash my wrath here upon you."
"Calm down, Vegeta-chan. If you wish to know what happened, then I will tell you and take you to where she is. But I assure you, she is alright. She is perfectly safe. In fact, safer than she would ever be."
Vegeta's fierce, ominous glare focused on her, making Yonshir swallow fearfully. This was what she tried warning Khalua earlier. She knew this was coming.
"Come with me. I will take you there now," Yonshir told him.
Bulma watched her family in silence and a smile on her face as they ate the breakfast Panchy made for them. She didn't know why she felt like she had not seen this kind of scenario in a long time and it brings a somewhat bittersweet feeling on her chest despite how glad she was right now.
Her mother stood up to reach out to their fridge and pulled out a plate full of freshly-made Maguro Nigiri from there. Panchy proudly showed off her cooking masterpiece, saying that the Maguro belly she found in the market this morning was freshly caught and so she thought she would make some sushi out of it. Dr. Briefs and Taitsu openly praised her for it while Bulma gazed at the food, suddenly lost in her thoughts. There was something about Maguro Nigiri that reminded her of someone.
Someone who was deadly obsessed with that food.
Suddenly, she was hearing a voice from that person, then memories of a man cloaked in darkness repeatedly praising Maguro Nigiri as if it was the best dish in the entire world–or universe rather, flashed on her mind. That man always smiled at her whenever she would feed him his favorite food.
Who was he again?
She can't remember.
"Bulma-chan, why aren't you eating? You should try it," Taitsu told her.
"Are you alright, dear?" Dr. Briefs questioned in concern.
Bulma blinked her eyes and found her family staring back at her. Was she spacing out that much?
She forced a smile, shook her head to get rid of her unnecessary thoughts, and continued with her breakfast.
About an hour later, Bulma was about to leave her home for work. Her family was surprised that she wasn't going to wait for him.
"Who?" she asked, confused.
"Your fiancé, honey! You two always come to work together!" Panchy reminded her.
Fiancé? Bulma blinked. Somebody entered the house wearing a formal business suit.
"Oh! Good timing, he's here!" Taitsu exclaimed.
Bulma turned her head to find Yamcha approaching her. She was completely stunned by his model-like appearance. He walked so gracefully as he approached her side.
He smiled sheepishly at her family and meekly bowed down in respect, "Mom, Dad, Ne-chan. Good morning," he said respectfully with a gentle grin and a loving look on his raven eyes. Then he turned to face her, his handsome face was beaming.
"Good morning, love. Are you ready?" he asked, gently grabbing her hand and pecking a sweet, short kiss on her cheek. She was in too much confusion to respond, so she just nodded back at him.
"Shall we go now?" Yamcha said, taking her bag and her things like a true gentleman. "Bye, mom, dad, Ne-chan. See you tonight."
"Take care, you two."
Yamcha led her out of the house and opened the door next to the driver's seat of his car, treating her like a princess and he was such a gentleman. He put her seatbelt on for her, and started the engine to drive her to work in his car.
Bulma silently gazed at him all the time, experiencing another deja vu due to a memory of someone else treating her the same way. Yamcha told her that he would take her and her family to the Sky Restaurant after work this afternoon, but Bulma wasn't listening to him at all. In her mind, she knew that something wrong was going on. She wondered who the mysterious man who kept on popping up on her deja vus was.
"Bulma? Love? Are you alright?" Yamcha asked her in concern when he noticed her spacing out. The same look her family had when she did the same thing this morning.
"I… I'm fine," she muttered, looking out at the window. "I just had a long, strange dream this morning," she admitted.
"A dream? Tell me about it," Yamcha urged.
Bulma shook her hand, "I don't want to remember it. It was a bad dream."
"Oh…"
They passed by an eerily familiar street and saw the Ox-King's Sushi Restaurant. A raven-haired young woman and a petite bald-headed man entered the restaurant, both felt eerily familiar to her but she wasn't sure whether she really knew them or not. She rolled her eyes and decided to forget about these stupid feelings.
As soon as Bulma got out of the car, she was immediately met by her brown-haired secretary, who bombarded her with schedules of meetings, paperwork, and reports about Capsule Corporation's sales. She was greeted by her bowing employees, and met with several clients in the massive meeting room within the company building. She signed a lot of paperworks, checked on some product proposals and initial blueprints of new techs from the Research and Development Team. It was a very busy day for her, but she loved every moment of it.
Vegeta watched as Bulma enjoyed what she was doing. He was there all along since she arrived with Yamcha this morning. The new Capsule Corporation building stood tall exactly where the Yonsei Hotel was in the world he came from. When he saw them together, he instantly felt a pang of hatred spur in his chest, especially when he learned that his Bulma was engaged to that weakling bastard. He tried to use his powers against Yamcha but it didn't affect the human as much as he expected.
Utterly pissed after trying and failing so many times, he begrudgingly followed Bulma through everything she did, but she never saw his presence nor heard what he was telling her. It caused a pang of pain in his heart when he noticed that she doesn't seem to remember him at all.
"She can't see nor hear you right now," Yonshir told him. She stood next to him all this time as they observed Bulma in her happy place. Whis was with them, standing not far behind them, silently observing his master.
"The higher gods decided to give you your greatest test and teach you a lesson as well. As you can see, this is a world where you don't exist, that's why your powers don't work in this place. This is also a world where she is perfectly happy with her life, where she got everything she ever wanted and longed for.
"If it weren't for you, she would have lived a life full of happiness, with her family and loved ones surrounding her. She also would have fulfilled her destiny as the most successful businesswoman and scientific genius in the world. But you came into her life and ruined it all for her. You, because of your selfishness, took everything away from her. She suffered a lot because of you. In exchange for your existence in this world, she was blessed by the higher gods and fulfilled her wish."
"What do you mean?"
"Don't you get it? She chose this life over you. She chose the people who truly mattered to her, chose the life she always wanted and longed for since you ruined everything for her, over you."
A pang of pain hit Vegeta's hardened heart at those blunt words coming from the goddess.
"Mortals will always be mortals. They will always choose whatever is more convenient and whatever would make them happy. They hate misery, hardships, pain, and loss. It's in their nature after all. And I know you know why you receive all the blame whenever they couldn't take it any longer."
Vegeta's fists shook on his sides as the pain of betrayal gnawed him. Yonshir was right. This was the nature if mortals. But Vegeta thought Bulma was different from them because she chose to love someone like him. Was he wrong to believe such a thing?
"Just accept it. A God of Destruction and a mortal cannot be together," Yonshir continued. "If you truly love her, then you should let her be. Let her go. This is a gift the higher gods will bestow upon her as compensation for what you have done. You are a God of Destruction, Vegeta-chan, you should know better than associate yourself that much with mortals."
With a snap of her fingers, they're back to their original world, the world where Bulma doesn't exist anymore, within the God of Destruction's Planet of Destruction. The cold and lonely place where he must spend most of his time living alone with his Guide Angel for all eternity.
"I'm sorry, Vegeta-chan, but this is the only way for us to prevent history from repeating itself once again," Yonshir told him apologetically before she disappeared.
Vegeta's expression was stone-cold after the words Yonshir told him. He felt his heart sink and a heavy, painful feeling grip his chest. This was what he feared the most. Bulma Briefs, the mortal he chose to decide the fate of this world, had disappeared, leaving him in a world without her.
And what made it more painful was the fact that she chose it. He can't accept it. She told him many times how much she loved him, how she would spend her last moments with him even if he decided to destroy everything. Were those words all just a lie because she was desperate to have her normal life back? But she was living a world full of lies there!
He was aware that he's selfish, but he can't just let her live a life that's a lie. She could have a perfect, happy life in this world without him by her side, but if not for her, his whole existence would have been empty and meaningless. Without Bulma, he would have continued to destroy everything in this Universe mindlessly and heartlessly.
But, what should he do?
He wanted for her to be happy too. For her to live a normal human life in peace and as fulfilling as her destiny would have it. This will protect her from him or any of his enemies. She won't have to deal with unruly deities any longer. She would be safe, spending a peaceful, normal, and happier life with her loving family, her sweet and beloved fiancé, and reach the height of her scientific genius and career as the President of the most prestigious tech company on Earth.
Vegeta could understand why she chose that world over him. If he took those things away from her, he would become selfish and she would suffer because of him. Will she be mad at him for taking away that kind of life from her if he decided to prioritize himself and the truth?
He suddenly remembered the conversation he and Bulma once had a long time ago, when she made her decision and invited him to live with her…
"So let's just say that if you don't make your decision, then the person you love the most shall be destroyed," he told her.
"You said you have heard my plans." Bulma said.
"Yeah, your plan on making me the person you love the most so you won't have to lose anything," Vegeta said.
"The person I will love the most is… Vegeta Yonsei, the God of Destruction of the Seventh Universe. The deity responsible for the death, devastation, and misery of everything that exists in the Universe. I will love him no matter what it takes, no matter how much it hurts me. Because I believe that by loving the God of Destruction, I won't have anything to lose. Everyone that I have ever loved is dead, and there is no way that the deity responsible for death and destruction will ever die. Even if he destroys the world, I will stay by his side. I will never lose him the way I lost everything I once had. That's why I will love him and start a new beginning with him by my side."
That was the decision Bulma made that night she invited him to live with her. The thoughts that Vegeta heard from her, which made him utterly confused at first, unable to understand why she would want to love someone as dangerous as him.
If it was just about Vegeta and his decision, he would choose to be selfish. He was always a selfish man after all. It would be out of character for him to just let go and give up, especially after he just declared his resolve to fight back against what fate had planned for them both.
But... What about her? Should he let her make the choice instead?
Bulma already made her choice, but he doubted Yonshir's words. He suspected that Bulma must have been hypnotized when she made that unacceptable decision, or it could probably because she couldn't remember him at all, for he doesn't exist in that world any longer. He knew that Bulma wasn't in her right mind when he did that.
He wanted to see and hear her make the decision on her own accord. Would that make him feel better if he allowed her to choose between him or the family she had lost a long time ago? What if she chose that world? Will he let her go? Will he let her live in that darn fake world that's full of lies and deceit?
What should he do?
Let her choose. A small voice in her head told him.
Right. He will let her choose, and then, he will put his trust on her. He will believe in her, and the power of the bond they shared with each other.
Bulma just finished her meeting and returned to her personal office room at the top of the main company building.
With a satisfied smile upon her pink-tinted lips, she plopped down on her comfortable office chair.
It was a very busy day for her, but it felt amazing for some reason. It was as if she longed to work hard like this. It was exciting for her to be able to do so.
Other than that, she was stoked about the family dinner her fiancé, Yamcha, had prepared for her in the Sky Restaurant. She let out a wide smile as she giggled and squealed girlishly, her face turning red as she pondered about what he must be planning tonight, imagining how the date would happen, especially when her family would be present.
The phone on the side of her oak table abruptly rang. The loud ringing surprised her enough to distract her from her girlish thoughts and almost made her jump out if her seat.
Who could be calling this time? She wondered as she picked up the call.
"Hello?"
"It's me," a voice from an unknown man said on the other line. It was the coldest and most condescending voice she ever heard coming from a man. She could clearly tell that whoever she was speaking to right now was a very formidable being.
Bulma's eyebrows furrowed in her puzzlement.
This voice sounds familiar, but who was it? She wondered to herself. It felt like she heard this voice somewhere a long time ago, but she can't recall exactly where or when it was.
Who was this person?
Gulping as if to swallow her fear, she carefully asked, "Who are you?"
"I am Vegeta Yonsei."
"Vegeta…Yonsei?" Bulma repeated. The name rings a bell, but she can't really remember. "Who are you?"
"I… I am the being whose existence and soul are bonded to yours. No matter which world we are in, I'm sure that the bond we shared will bring us back together no matter what."
"Huh?" Bulma muttered in confusion.
What was he saying?
How creepy, she thought.
She was about to hang up and stop wasting precious time talking to this weirdo when the stranger screeched on the other line.
"Wait! Don't you dare hold up on me, woman!" he warned.
Bulma blinked, how did he know she was planning to hang up on him? She put the phone back against her ear, her eyes drifting around her to see if someone was stalking her.
Also, what's with his rude and demanding attitude? She scowled.
"Thank you," the stranger sighed in relief.
"Who are you? Really? I think I know who you are but I can't remember exactly," she demanded.
"You must remember who I am. I'm sorry that I can't come and save you right now. The reality which you are currently in is something you created through your own subconscious, a wish which you have made in exchange for something very important to you."
"Something important? What do you mean by that?"
"Listen to me, and listen well," he continued. "Bulma… You need to realize where you are and why you are there. You have to make a choice, something which I am allowing you to do. I… I know that we have met under a terrible circumstance and that is because of my own selfish actions. You may not remember me now, but you suffered through a lot because of me. And I'm sorry for causing you all that pain. I really do. I don't even know why I am doing this right now when you don't even remember my voice or who I am to you, but I just want to let you know that it's all up to you. You're on your own right now. Feel free to choose your fate. And I promise you that this time, I will try not to interfere with it again. No matter what your choice is, I will accept your decision.
"Bulma, just know that no matter what, I…" Vegeta hesitated at first for a few seconds before he continued, "...I believe in you. I trust you can do this. I will be waiting for you to come back to me when you're ready. And when you do, search for me in your heart and call me by my name."
The call ended after that. Bulma took the phone away from her face, gazing down at it with a confused stare.
"Who the hell was that?" she grumbled to herself.
Why does it feel like she knows him well? Why does she begin to think that she has forgotten about someone who was very important to her?
Somebody knocked on the door and she turned to see Yamcha standing there, smiling sweetly back at her.
When he knew she finally noticed him, he stepped forward towards her and pulled out a bouquet of roses behind him.
Bulma blinked at the flowers, seeing the red roses as something yellow– squash blossoms, for a second right there.
She looked up to him, confused. Yamcha's grinning face was replaced by the face of someone who was looking away from her like a shy little boy.
Seriously… Who was that?
Yamcha blinked his eyes, "What's the matter, love? Don't you like the flowers?" he asked in concern.
Bulma blinked back again, and forced herself to smile as she shook her head.
"Ah… Of course, I do," she replied, taking the flowers off his hands and sniffing at it. "That smells good. Thank you, Yamcha. You're so sweet."
"I'm glad you like it." Yamcha said with a smile which made her heart flutter. "Are you done with your work?" he asked again.
"Yes, I am about to log off," Bulma answered.
"Alright. I had someone fetch Mom, Dad, and Taitsu-nechan. I believe they're on their way to the Sky Restaurant now."
"Ah… Right," Bulma nodded. She turned to take her leather designer bag and faced him. Shall we go? I don't want to make them wait."
"Sure, my love," Yamcha agreed.
Bulma left the Capsule Corporation with Yamcha, holding hands. Everyone they passed through thought they were the perfect couple. The richest woman and the most popular baseball celebrity. And they look so good together.
Just as this morning, Yamcha open the car door for her to sit next to the driver's seat. He then drove to the Sky Restaurant where her entire family waited for their arrival. There they had a sumptuous dinner and spent the entire night like a perfect, happy family enjoying themselves together like there was no tomorrow, having fun with every minute they had.
"Perhaps, everything that I've experienced up until now is just a nightmare. This one, this world must be real. This is the life that I should be living. Everything is perfect, if this was a dream, I wish that I would never wake up again."
With that thought in her mind as Bulma watched her parents, older sister, and fiancé smile, laugh, and enjoy being with her, she began to accept this world as her reality, completely forgetting all of her earlier doubts.
She had everything she wanted in this world.
And she would definitely stay here with them.
That was her choice.
With that, the afterimage of the man that kept appearing on her mind faded away into nothingness.
Vegeta sat on the edge of a tall cliff that was overlooking the sea and the West City. His usually intimidating raven-colored eyes were now filled with unshed tears of sorrow and loneliness after he heard Bulma made her heartbreaking decision to stay in that fake world. He can't blame her after all she had been through. Yonshir was right, mortals would always choose what would be most convenient to them after all.
Now that she's gone, his existence has become meaningless to him again. He will be alone with Whis just like how it was before met Bulma, enduring the pain of this loss until he is back to his usually cold and ruthless destroyer self once again. He can't live life without her by his side. He can't even save her, protect her, more so, he can't give her happiness at all.
Realizing this and how he hated being alone, tears had fallen from the eyes of the proud, formidable warrior god.
"Now I understand why I never wanted to feel love. Everything beautiful in this Universe vanishes the very moment I touch them. Loving them is useless for it will only disappear at any given moment. Love brings pain. When the person you love is gone, the pain becomes unbearable, even more so than anything that I suffered in both my mortal life and my existence as a God of Destruction."
And that pain... He swore he would unleash that pain upon this insignificant world.
Without Bulma Briefs, this planet was useless to him now. He didn't care about anything anymore, not even his favorite food would save this damned mudball from him and his wrath.
Was it finally time for him to destroy the Earth?
Vegeta angrily wiped his tears away with the back of his hand, looking up into the sky. It was already night and the sky was dazzling with stars shining and twilkling against the dark veil of the eve. It reminded him of that time he was stargazing with Bulma when he returned to her after his last battle with King Mu two nights ago.
"If by chance, I decide to destroy this world by tomorrow, what are you going to do?" he asked her.
She answered him, "Hmm... I don't know. I guess I will just come to you and spend my last moments being with you watching the world end, since I know there's nothing I could do about it. Even if I try to stop you, an insignificant mortal like me is powerless against the almighty God of Destruction."
"So you're just going to submit to me?"
"No. What I want is to spend my last moments with you. It's terrible to know that you will end the world tomorrow and I can't do anything about it. So instead of trying to stop you, scold you, rant about it, or argue with you, since I know it will only be futile once you set your mind on your decision, I would simply spend my last moments with you. I would stay with you all night like this, feed you with as much Maguro Nigiri I could make, I would cling unto you, never letting you go until it is time for you to do your duty as a God of Destruction. Then I will watch you as you end the world until I disappear in this world in peace. I want my last moments filled with you and our memories together."
"Aren't you afraid of destruction itself? You're not afraid of me killing you or destroying you?"
"I was never afraid of you, Vegeta. I know that you are the most dangerous being in the entire Universe, but being with you takes away all of my fears. It doesn't mean I am not afraid of anything, though. What I am afraid of... is losing you again."
Vegeta pouted, huffing in the air like a spoiled kid, "Hmph! So much for being afraid of losing me," he bitterly grumbled to himself.
There was something in the sky that caught Vegeta's eyes.
A large, circular thing shining full and bright against the night sky.
The sight of it made him feel something primal stirring up from the depths of his heart and he perceived his long, brown, fluffy, monkey-like tail lazily waving behind his legs twitched. The fur around it bristled as if in alert, sending shivers of primordial excitement up and across his spine.
"A full moon?" he muttered.
Realizing what he was looking at, he quickly turned his eyes away from it.
Then he hesitated, thinking that transforming into his Great Monkey beast form, the Oozaru, could be a good idea for him to unleash his pain and his destructive wrath upon this world.
After all, this was what those higher gods wanted, right?
For him to become the perfect tool for destruction.
It was then he began to realize something. Did he just fall into his enemies' trap?
He allowed Bulma to choose her fate on her own instead of being on her side and fighting against this fate together.
Did he just allow his adversaries to win?
No! He cannot have that! His pride will never accept defeat from these darn higher gods!
Then he recalled Khalua's warning back in the King of All's Palace, "I hope that you don't get overconfident with that though. Despite how much destructive power you possess, there are still abilities amongst the Multiverse-level deities which you won't be able to simply steal or copy. I wonder how you would deal with such powers."
"Is that supposed to be a challenge?" Vegeta asked.
Khalua simply smiled back at him. "Who knows? Maybe we can play together some time. You, me, Lady Yonshir… You wouldn't really know when one begins to shift your own reality and change your fate, or that of someone else."
Then he remembered Yonshir's words to him earlier: "The higher gods decided to give you your greatest test and teach you a lesson as well."
Then their conversation in the God of Destruction's Palace after his last battle with King Mu: "What exactly is the reason why you and the higher gods are so persistent to destroy Bulma Briefs? She is no threat to you. She is only a mere, powerless human," he asked her.
Yonshir responded with an annoyed sigh. "You are right, it's not because she is a threat to any of us. She is nothing but a weak, useless, mortal woman. However, there was one thing about her that's dangerous and places the balance of the Universe in great danger."
"And that is?"
"It's the way you feel about her. Your forbidden relationship with her, those feelings you developed for her. All these things are a threat to all of us."
"What the hell are you trying to say? So what if I have feelings for a mortal woman? Why is it any concern of yours what I do or feel about a mere human?"
"Your emotions could become your greatest downfall. Yes, you may have discovered that a desire to protect others could become your source of power. However, your feelings are like a double-edged sword. It could also cause you to become weak and susceptible to manipulation or emotional outbursts. Sooner or later, because of you, Bulma Briefs is going to suffer and die, just as she did in her first life. When that happens, what are you going to do? Are you going to repeat what you did 1,239 years ago? Or possibly do something even worse than that? Are you going to lose control once again and destroy everything this time just because you didn't get what you want? With the Secret of Self-Indulgence technique and your level of ability right now and in the near future, you will be capable of completely disrupting the balance of your own Universe, and once that happens, the entire Multiverse could be affected."
"No wonder why you seem so afraid of me. You are afraid of me. The way you bastards reacted when I unleashed my full power while I was fighting Mu was proof enough for me earlier. Everyone sees me as the threat, isn't that right?"
"Since when did you know?" she asked.
"I was beginning to suspect something since you came here. I know that you multiverse-level deities are up to something, and considering that you are a clairvoyant, I know that you may have foreseen something. Don't underestimate my perceptions. I am not a fool."
"Are you out of your mind?! Are you really going to disrupt the balance of your Universe?!" Yonshir sneered at him.
"I will not let that happen either. You see me as the threat here. Is that why you wanted me to destroy Bulma so you can prevent me from losing control if she gets killed? How dare you underestimate my level of control?! I am in total control of myself! I am the Prince of all Saiyans, a proud warrior who has become a God of Destruction of this Universe! But I will be different from the rest of the Gods of Destruction as I was different from the Saiyans! I will fulfill my duty as a destroyer god, but I will fight and use my powers of destruction according to how I want to use it! If I must destroy in order to protect my Universe and keep its balance, I will do it without hesitation! I am different from who and what I was 1,239 years ago! Don't underestimate me!"
Finally realizing his mistake, Vegeta grounded his teeth together, his body shaking out of his rage.
"Damn! I am such a fool!" he snarled furiously against the cold wind.
He glared up into the sky, lividly damning the higher gods for this.
"Curse them all! No one makes a fool of me! They will pay dearly for this! I will show them the monster they've been fearing the most! Angering me like this will be their gravest mistake! And when I get my hands on them, I will show them no mercy!"
The full moon seemed to brighten in response to his furor, illuminating the night sky with its celestial light.
Vegeta found himself being consumed by overwhelming rage as the light of the full moon emblazed him. It entered through his every pore, making his heart pound against his chest as if in excitement.
He could hear the moon call to him, tempting him to come and stare at it and allow it to awaken his true nature. He could feel his blood boiling through his veins and the breath of his inner beast flow with it.
He tried his best to control himself. He could feel that his unbridled fury was getting a hold of him, and he must not allow it to control him, otherwise, he would prove those who doubted his control over his emotions and his power right about him.
He let out a shaky breath, and tried to clear his mind off of his primal lust for blood, battle, and destruction, which may trigger the power of the Secret of Self-Indulgence to take over his rational mind.
He tried to recall the wise words told to him by Granolah, Whis, and Heles.
"Find the reason for your strength and power. Why you were born with it, why you were destined to be the God of Destruction of this Universe. Don't deceive yourself into thinking that you were only meant to kill and destroy without any other purpose or meaning aside…" That was Granolah's wish for him before dying on his arms on Planet Namek.
"Choose your path, Vegeta-sama," Whis advised him. "Ask yourself, what do you really want? What is Bulma-san to you? What do you want her to do for you? What does she and your bond with her mean to you? If you can determine that and accept it, then you will know what to do. Remember that good or evil doesn't matter. What matters the most is what you think is right according to your own judgment. You are the God of Destruction of this Universe. You have the power to decide the fate of everything that exists in this cosmos.
"Don't allow what others have to say to affect your judgment. Whether they tell you to destroy something or not, you choose, you decide what to do. Don't force yourself to become what others want you to become. Remember that you were the Proud Saiyan Prince who became a God of Destruction while being who you are. You didn't become one by throwing away who and what you were, you held on to it, that's why even after becoming a God of Destruction, you were able to retain the abilities you had when you were still a Saiyan mortal."
"Remember what you told Toppo when you fought in that exhibition match back when both of you were mortals? You said that you will never abandon your ideals and forget who and what you are for the sake of becoming a God of Destruction. That was why Beerus knew that the Secret of Self-Indulgence is the perfect way for you to gain the powers of a God of Destruction. Listen to yourself, do as you wish, and never allow anyone to stop you from obtaining what you truly want. Remember that only you can decide your fate. Now it's all up to you whether you believe me or not, but know that I believe in you," that was what Heles told him.
"I have always believed in you. So remove any doubts you have in your mind and believe in yourself, alright? Remember what Heles-sama told you," Whis said this to him when he thanked him for his guidance.
"Don't be like me, or the rest of us who simply obey what we were told by the higher gods because we aren't strong enough to defy them," Heles also told him. "You are different from me, stronger than me, or anyone amongst the Gods of Destruction. Aside from that, only you were able to master the forbidden Secret of Self-Indulgence technique. With that and your origins as a Saiyan, you grow exponentially stronger every time. If anyone can change things and show everyone the true meaning of being a God of Destruction, it's you. Only you can be strong enough to bring a change in the mantle."
"I swear I will change everything, Whis! You will see!" That was what he swore when he made his new resolve, when he decided to fight back against those who think they control him or his fate. He swore that he would fight as both the Saiyan Prince and the God of Destruction of the Seventh Universe.
He rose from being seated on the edge of the cliff and turned to face the full moon, thinking that perhaps, this could be the perfect timing for him to unleash the power he's been holding back.
If he wanted to save Bulma and fight back against those bastards who did this to him, he must undergo an evolution combining both of his primal Saiyan powers and the destructive divine power of the Secret of Self-Indulgence technique.
That's when he finally made his decision.
And it's a downright dangerous one!
But he didn't care any longer.
After all, this wasn't his world.
He closed his eyes, concentrated within himself, and began to think…
"This isn't my world. Someone brought me to a Universe that is different from my own. A world where Bulma doesn't exist...
"Whoever did this to me may think they have won, but… Little did they know that we Saiyans are far more ruthless and bloodthirsty when there is nothing for us to protect and nobody to save... And it just happens that I am the worst of my kind. The most ruthless, the most powerful, and the most bloodthirsty among the warriors of the moon.
"And with me as a God of Destruction, too, there is absolutely nothing that could ever stop me! I have nothing to care about, I can fight and destroy however I want!
"This is great! A perfect way to make my Saiyan blood boil! Now, they shall all witness what happens when they incur my wrath!"
Vegeta opened his eyes, his irises flashing a deep crimson as he finally stared into the full moon, the source of his primordial Saiyan power and bloodthirsty nature.
"I am going to destroy this Universe!" he declared.
Awaken! Great monkey demon lord, Oozaru!
Pwik!
Then something snapped, something inside of him.
His heart began its tell-tale pounding inside his chiseled chest.
Do'kkun! Do'kkun!
His body began to pulse along the loud and powerful beating of his heart. With it, overwhelming power began to rush through his veins, continuously making him stronger with every pounding on his chest.
"Ah! Ah! Hah! Ah! Ugh! Nnnghh! Grrrgh! Urgh! Graaaah! Aaaurgh!"
He threw his head back and opened his mouth wide. He let out long, loud gasps of breath and pained groans as a way to express the excitement, exhilaration, and liberation he was feeling as the full moon slowly awakened his raw, beastly power within him.
Soon, he started to laugh evilly and boisterously as he reveled in his growing strength.
"Hahahahaha! Yes! Yes! That's right! I can feel it! The power... coursing through my veins...! It's burning inside of me! Hahahahahaha!"
His laughter only died down when the rush of power began to feel unbearable and his monkey demon mind threatened to take over his rationality.
It was when he began to scream as soon as he felt his primal power surged uncontrollably within him. The burning sensation only grew with each second and flames of his red demonic aura began seeping out of his every pore.
"Aaaah! Gaaah! Aurgh! Graaaaaaaahhh! Aaaaaaahhh!"
The limiter earring attached to his left ear fiercely glowed as it tried to contain the power threatening to explode within the God of Destruction, until it just couldn't take the rush of power any longer and simply broke into pieces.
It was then when Vegeta's fearsome transformation into the great monkey demon lord began.
"Graaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!"
The ground exploded with a devastating surge of his feral cataclysmic energy as Vegeta howled like the beast within into the skies.
Everything that surrounded him shook underneath him, the cliff in which he stood upon crumbled.
Powerful lightning bolts exploded from the blackened skies and snapped around him while the ground beneath him cracked and lifted.
His eyes rolled at the back of his head before the veins within them popped out, making his entire eyes bloody red.
"Uwoooooohhhh! Ooooh! Oh! Gwoooooaaahhhh!"
His voice began to change, the pained screams morphing into a beastly roar as his canines grew into long, sharp fangs while his nose and mouth slowly morphed into a long muzzle.
His ears elongated on the sides of his head while thick, brown fur burst across his body, saving his hands, feet, and face while his muscles swelled as he continuously grew into a colossal demonic monkey beast about fifty feet tall.
"Rooooooaaaaaaaarrrrrr!"
Once his transformation was complete, he let out a final lengthy roar into the full moon that changed him and awakened him to his true nature, shaking the multiverse with his overwhelming destructive power and striking immense terror into the hearts of all that felt his wrath.
