Chapter 69 Inkling Secret

Back with the entire group, the girls stared at the twins who were still inklings and blinked many times.
"How the heck did this even happen?" Serena said.
"They're cute like this." Rin said.
"This isn't funny." Yuto said.
"What did he say?" Serena looks at the others.
The brothers fell down since they couldn't understand them now.
"They said it was not funny." Cat Dancer said.
They all looked at her and she looks around. "What? I know a lot of languages."
"Can you change us back please?" Yugo said.
"He's asking to change them back." Cat Dancer translated.
"We could." Winter Bell said. "But how could have this happened?"
"We don't know." Yuto said.
"Yeah, we have no idea how this could have happened. Maybe the heart ring could have changed us." Yugo said.
"It's possible, but it would need some kind of reaction, don't you have any family member that could be the cause." Winter Bell said.
"How would that even..." Yuto starts to think.
Then the brothers remembered one of they're grandmother's from they're mother's side, had a weird past, like she barely told them about her own family side.
"Could it be from grandma?" Yugo looks at Yuto.
"She was the only person that could have anything to do with this. I remember she had a facisnation with ink." Yuto said.
"That might be the reason, your grandmother might be or has a connection to this race. The heart ring made you change into a old bloodline." Winter Bell said.
"But this could mean our sister could change into one too." Yugo pointed out.
"Ashley will be one too." Yuto said. "I can imagine she will freak out."
"If your sister will transform, then it's best you be ready just in case." Cat Dancer said.
The two nodded and Yuto looks at his look at a mirror.
"It's so weird."
"Your telling me." His brother said.
Then they changed into small squid like creature surprising them.
"They're so cute!" The girls said.
They hugged the brothers as they grunted.
"I hate these forms!" Yuto said.
"Calm down Yuto." Yugo said.
They changed back to the humanoid forms making the girls pout.
"I like the little ones." Rin said.
"Not me." Yuto said. "Now help change us back!"
"Okay!" Winter Bell said.
"You could have let us have some fun with you in those forms." Freeze Bell said.
"Don't worry girls, maybe later." Blue Cat said.
"Never gonna happen." Yuto said.
Yugo thinks about the situation since could they're grandmother really be connected to all of this.
"So how do we change back?" Yuto said.
"Try to focus on the rings again." Winter Bell said.
They took out the rings and held them before the duo changed back to the human forms.
"Oh thank goodness." Yuto rubs his hair.
"That was so weird." Yugo said.
"If the others saw us like this, we would have been the laughingstock for a long time." Yuto grunts.
"I think your just cute." Rin smiles.
"Well your unique in them." Serena said.
"Can you stop mocking us." Yuto said.
"Still, you boys managed to save the world, and we thank you for that." Leo Dancer said.
"Well your welcome." Yuto said.
"Will you come back." Freeze Bell said.
"Another time." Yugo said.
They all nodded since they wanted they're heroes to visit them more times.
"Can you stay just for a bit." Panther Dancer suggested.
The two brothers looked at each other and shrugged.
"Well okay." They said.
The girls smiled to be able to hang out with them more as they will enjoy they're time, as the guys were the only boys that came here for a long time and they will not waste this chance.
Later
A portal opened as the guys were now back home.
"Finally." Yuto said.
"It was something." Yugo rubs his neck.
They went downstairs and saw Ashley sitting on the couch watching tv, she was eating popcorn.
She then looks back. "Oh hey, did you finish your studies?"
"Uh yeah." Yuto frowns. "Say did you feel anything weird?"
"No." She shook her head.
Ashley looks back at the tv. The two looked at each other and used the ring on her making Ashley become a inkling too.
"Huh?" She looks at herself and screams before they covered her mouth.
"We know, just let us explain." Yuto said.
She nodded as they had they're hands on her mouth.
They then explained to her and she was shocked.
"Grandma might have been something like this?!" She said.
"Yes, and don't worry." Yuto and Yugo changed her back.
"We can always change back." Yugo said.
"That was so weird." Ashley said.
"Yeah we know." Yuto said.
"Sorry, we had to make sure it was true." Yugo said.
"I understand that, but seriously our grandmother is some kind of squid creature." Ashley said.
"We don't know exactly what they are, but we better keep an eye just in case." Yugo said.
"Maybe you can use the library to check." Yuto said.
"Yeah, but now i'm tired." Yugo goes back to his room.
"I expected that, since it was a long time there." Yuto said.
"Time works weird there." Ashley said.
"You have no idea." He said.
Ashley looks at him. "Say can I see yours."
"Nope!" He runs up.
"Hey!" She chases him. "You made me change now show me yours!"
"Never gonna happen!" He said.
She then tries to force Yuto to change into his inkling form since he saw hers, she'll ask Yugo later after he rests up since he was really tired.
