Chapter 74 Hide in the Ink

Yuto and Yugo were at a warehouse shooting many targets with they're splattetshots while in inkling forms.
The twins then jumped off each other's feet going to the sides fast, they spun around shooting many targets at the same time.
Then Yugo landed on his brother's shoulders as they posed.
"Yeah we gotten much better." Yuto said.
Yugo jumped down. "But we don't know what are we even supposed to do with these forms?"
Ashley then came laughing in her own inkling form holding them both. "But it's still amazing you both can do all of this."
"You enjoy your new form too." Yuto said.
"Why not? It's so fun being like this." Ashley said.
"We still have no clue where grandma came from?" Yugo said.
"Don't worry, it will come." Yuto said.
They walked to the entrance before they hide quickly since they saw Kanji and Naoto pass by.
"Those two had to come." Yuto frowns.
"Couldn't we change back?" Ashley asked.
"It takes times to revert back." Yugo said.
Naoto looks at the warehouse.
"Don't come." Yuto mutters.
"What's wrong Naoto?" Kanji asked.
"Just something." She goes inside.
She then noticed the ink spots. "These are the same ink that Teddy found."
"Wait really?" Kanji said.
"Yes, while I don't think this is connected to the case, it's clear that theres something strange." Naoto said.
"So who did this?" Kanji looks around.
"I don't see anyone." She touches the paint. "This is still fresh. So they must have left recently."
"Seriously?!" Kanji looks around the outside. "Don't see anyone."
"They must have left before we came. So let's look outside." Naoto said.
She and Kanji left then the siblings rise up from a big puddle of ink in squid form.
"That was too close." Yuto said.
"Again." Yugo added.
Ashley came out. "It's getting harder to find spots to train."
The twins transformed into they're humanoid forms too.
"What are you specting, we must have bad luck or something." Yuto said.
"I don't think luck has anything to do with this. But I just wish we had the best spot for us to train." Yugo said.
"Don't worry, we'll have find a perfect one." Ashley said.
"The base isn't even a good one since we don't have extra space." Yuto frowns.
"We can't even use the gadgets since if they even notice they're being watched by them they'll know it's us." Yugo said.
The trio really didn't know how to deal with this situation, they don't want they're friends to laugh, but they don't want to let they're new forms go to waste.
They changed back to human form before they ran out of there fast before someone found out.
Yu and the others were at Junes as Naoto explained what they saw.
"We found this weird paint again." Naoto said.
"Oh the same one Teddy found?" Yosuke said.
"Yes, it seems to be fresh when we came there. Like someone was just shooting the entire place." Naoto said.
"Who would be shooting paint, like paintball games?" Kanji said.
"Well maybe. But those are pretty big guns." Chie said.
"Where are Yuto and Yugo?" Yukiko asked.
"They said they had something planned with they're sister." Yosuke said.
"They must be enjoying they're time together." Yu said.
"If I was seperated from birth I would do it too." Kanji said.
"What are you kids doing?"
They looked and saw Leonidas.
"Oh no." Yosuke said.
"Well what are you doing?" he asked.
"We were just talking about a strange thing happening with strange ink." Yu said.
"Oh the ink, well you better finish it fast." He said.
"We know sir." Yu said.
Leonidas looks at him. "You got a good head kid. I can see you are they're leader and will grow to become better."
Yu smiles, then he felt the bond between Leonidas get stronger.
"Well have fun, we'll have more training later." Leonidas walks away.
"I'm tired of that drill sergeant." Yosuke grunts.
"It's not that bad." Kanji said.
"Oh yeah, your used to it." Yosuke said.
"Plus think about this way, it's easier to fight the shadows." Yukiko said.
"I'm mean she's not wrong." Chie said.
"Yeah, but it's strange for a idol to do all of this." Rise said.
"At least he doesn't make you become muscular as you explained about your work." Yosuke said.
"I'll be even stronger like those guys in the movies." Chie said.
"But man, how come the twins escape training." Yosuke said.
"Well anyway, it's still a good attempt of getting better." Naoto said.
"But he could go easier since it's beary hard on my body." Teddy complained.
"Well with him being you know what, also helps us against the shadows." Kanji said.
"Yeah, he's pretty strong despite not having a persona." Chie said.
"Well he is the former king of Sparta. So it's part of his history to be a great warrior." Naoto said.
She knew of his legends and it was always shown him being one of the greatest of the world had to offer.
"With Leonidas, we'll finish the case." Yu said.
"Yeah, if anyone can help it's him." Chie said.
"I just wish Yuto and Yugo were here. "Yukiko frowns.
"Don't worry, they'll come back later." Chie said.
But they still wonder who's shooting ink around the city in certain spots, like it was strange from a forest to a warehouse, they'll have to check for anything that might be causing this.
While it could be some strange paintball game, the way it's done is very strange that it's needed to be investigated.
Note: The twins avoided another scene of being discovered while Leonidas interacted with Yu again to increase they're bond.
