Chapter 542 Drunk Scarlett

"

Decker made delicious, crisp perfect onion rings. They were the best Jax had ever eaten. Decker said if he had more time, he'd make his beer battered onion rings because they were even better.

They drank champagne before they moved on to beer. Jax had learned from the MC that at least one person needed to be somewhat sober in case of emergencies. Since Decker and Scarlett were celebrating, he decided to moderate his drinking and stay buzzed but not drunk in case he needed to look after Scars.

"So when are you going to tell me the identity of your psycho ex? It's bound to be all over the news." Jax asked after they had finished eating and were outside on the deck drinking beer.

"When we get back to Charming, I'll explain and even show you a picture of old me. In this peaceful place, I just want to enjoy the moment."

"Fair enough," Jax said sliding an arm around her and kissing the top of her head.

"Now I just have to worry about dodging the serial killer," Scarlett said jokingly.

Jax and Decker exchanged glances. They didn't find the idea of Scarlett dodging a serial killer funny.

Decker told him about how he and Scarlett took millions from her ex. He was a more dramatic amusing storyteller than Scarlett. He had both of them laughing over how they had tricked Scarlett's psycho ex. He then went on to give his version of Scarlett's wedding day and how he'd helped her escape. It was a lot more hair raising than Scarlett's account.

"What would you have done if the driver hadn't stopped when you pretended to be sick?" Jax asked. "Did you have a back up plan?"

Father and daughter laughed.

"Of course we had a back up plan," Scarlett said.

"I was going to pretend to have car trouble along the route and he would stop to help because I was going to walk Scarlett down the aisle," Decker said.

"And then there was always our Plan C which was holding a gun on him and forcing him to pull over. I had a gun, zip times and a small amount of duct tape to use to gag him all under my wedding gown."

"Would you have shot him?" Jax asked.

"I wanted to avoid that. If using the gun didn't make him comply, I would have shot him in the shoulder and told him the next round was going in his neck. I didn't want to kill him. I was glad it didn't come to that kind of decision."

"Can you imagine when the driver told psycho ex that you vanished from the car? Decker asked laughing.

"I would have loved to have seen his face," Scarlett said with a grin. "He must have been absolutely furious. I wonder how long it took him to discover the money was gone."

"And then he would have gotten angry on a whole new level," Decker said.

When the MC guys got drunk, they got loud, sometimes sang dirty songs and generally acted up, but Scarlett and Decker weren't much different. Their speech was a little slurred but that was about it.

After a few hours, Scarlett headed off to the bedroom. Decker stopped him from following her.

"Make sure she takes a half dose of medication because she's had a lot to drink," he said.

"I was thinking the same thing," Jax said. "I'll make sure she takes much less."

"You're a good man, Jax," Decker said slapping him on the arm before heading upstairs to bed. "And thanks for staying sober so you can look after her."

There wasn't much that Decker didn't notice, Jax thought, even drunk. He headed off to Scarlett's bedroom. She'd left the door open. He walked in and she immediately shut the door behind him and locked it before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him like it was their last kiss forever.

She began unbuckling his belt. At any other time, Jax would have been into it, but her father was in the house. He'd had sex with girls in their parents' houses while the parents were home. It never bothered him. He'd never had respect for any of the parents.

It was strange. Here he was this badass outlaw biker and he was reluctant to have sex with his old lady when her father was in the house. He had a lot of respect for her father. It somehow felt wrong. He'd called him a good man and now he was going to have sex with his kid. It just seemed wrong.

"Jax, I crave you. I need you," she said continuing to fumble with his belt buckle.

"Do you always get wild when you're drunk?" Jax asked with a grin.

"Only with you," she said seriously. "Normally on the rare occasions when I drink too much, I just go to sleep. But you're around and that's a lot more fun." She gave him an ear to ear grin.

"You're father is right above us."

"Shhh . . ." she whispered. "We can be very quiet."

"Why don't we do 'drunk Scarlett' tomorrow when we're alone and your dad is gone," Jax said removing her hands from his crotch. "I just don't feel right about it."

Jax wondered if he were getting old worrying about having sex with Scarlett with her father nearby. He thought of the months he'd waited for Scarlett and was enjoying having the tables turned. Maybe it would be fun to get her a little frustrated.

"You don't want me," Scarlett said looking tragically heartbroken.

"I showed you how much I wanted you last night, this morning and this afternoon."

"Maybe you don't want me anymore," Scarlett said sadly. "You're bored with me."

"I love you and I always want you. I'll show you just how much when you're father is gone."

"He won't mind," she whispered. "I'm sure he's figured out that we do more than sleep."

"Yeah, I'm sure he has. I just don't feel right."

"What can I do to change your mind?" she said stripping off her sundress leaving her in just her pale blue bra and panties.

Jax began to feel his resistance crumble. And then he saw it. He'd been around a lot of drunks and they all had a certain look just before they puked.

He grabbed Scarlett by the arm and hauled her into the bathroom so fast her feet barely touched the floor. He had just enough time to get the toilet lid and seat up and grab her hair before she began to vomit.

His willpower wasn't tested anymore. He helped Scarlett get ready for bed, take a small dose of medication and put her to bed. He left the bathroom trash can by her side of the bed in case she threw up again.

He was already looking forward to drunk Scarlett tomorrow night only with a little less alcohol.
