Chapter 558 Tig's Return Trip

"

Tig woke up in bed in the apartment at the clubhouse feeling different somehow. He was normal again. He didn't think he was a princess trapped inside a man's body waiting for Jax's kiss to turn him into a woman. That had been a really crazy way to think.

Or was it really a crazy way to think? Maybe when he'd had his drug induced near death experience, he was seeing the world as it truly was and now after those damned mushrooms, he was seeing it all fake again kind of like The Matrix with the red and blue pills. Which one was the true reality for him? Which version of reality was the red pill version?

He'd watched some TV program with some kind of experts that said we were all living in a simulation and nothing was real just like a real life Matrix. That movie hurt his head and listening to those talking heads had made his head hurt again. His head was beginning to hurt thinking about reality and non-reality.

He thought of all the women he'd killed. It felt like a dream now—part horror film and part fantasy. When he'd murdered them, it had given him pleasure to take the lives of these pretty young women who didn't have to worry about finding a prince to kiss them to turn them into their true selves. That's why he hated them. And he'd enjoyed the fear in their eyes as he squeezed the life out of them punishing them for being women.

He wasn't sure how he felt about killing Louise. At the time, it was the best rush of all because he'd known her. He felt like the killer in one of the Scream movies when the victim is surprised when the mask is taken off only he wasn't wearing a mask. Louise got to see that not all horror movie villains wear masks. The scariest killers of all are the people we know hiding in plain sight.

Louise had done the usual begging for her life and promising to never tell anyone about him kidnapping her. Has that ever worked? Don't think so.

Yet still they try. It is fun to hear though. Then she kept asking him "why" over and over again. Did she think that if he told her why, it would be OK for him to kill her? He'd loved silencing her whiny voice forever.

Now he might be paying the price with the MC after him. Aside from the rush of being hunted and using his wits to survive, he could also use his position in the MC to misdirect the investigation. For all of Jax's smarts, he would never suspect anyone in the MC of being a serial killer. After a couple of weeks without making progress, Clay would force them to end the hunt and that would be the end of that. No, he had nothing to worry about from the MC. He was pretty sure of that.

He didn't know why he had this odd feeling of being let down now that he was just Tig. He kind of liked having a princess inside of him. It made him feel special. Now he was just ordinary Tig.

It was time to face the whole Jax issue. What the hell was going on with that? Why would he want Jax to kiss him to turn him into a girl? Could it be that he wanted Jax to kiss him? First, he wasn't gay. He definitely wasn't gay. Why would he want Jax to kiss him?

Jax was a very attractive man in every way. He was smart—a lot smarter than Clay. He was tall with a muscular grace and a confident swing to his hips when he walked. Jax also had charisma. He was funny and charming and just had this way about him. All the guys loved Jax.

And Jax was good-looking—movie star caliber looks not just ordinary good looking. The guy could be a model with that blonde hair, those laser blue eyes that crinkled at the corners when he looked into the sun or smiled, a great slim sculpted nose and lips that could so easily quirk in amusement even when he was laughing at himself.

The guy had a face for flirting. Every woman in the clubhouse was drawn to Jax. It was only natural for him to appreciate the beauty of Jax Teller. It was perfectly natural like appreciating a work of art. It didn't mean anything though. Unless it did.

Did he want Jax to kiss him because he was attracted to him? Was that why he thought he was a princess inside because he refused to admit he was gay and being a girl inside made it acceptable? Life was so much simpler when he was banging girls, dead girls and the occasional sheep.

Tig had no idea what was going on in his head. He was so confident and sure when there was the princess trapped inside his body and that he was female. What if that was the real reality and this ordinary version of reality was the blue pill Matrix?

Only one thing would help him—more mushrooms. There had to be an answer locked inside them. Maybe they would help him find reality.

"

Just when you thought Tig couldn't get any more messed up, he gets messed up on a new level. Can he go back to a life of sex with girls, dead girls and sheep (S2 Episode Eureka it was disclosed Tig was arrested for "indecency in a livestock transport" when the bounty hunters came after him) or is he going to have to confront his feelings for Jax if he can figure out what his feelings for Jax are?

Thanks to reviewer FC for the phrase "a face for flirting". I told her I wanted to work it into the story but wasn't sure where. Don't think she expected it to be used like this though. That Charlie definitely has a face for flirting. Absolutely love that phrase. Thanks FC!
