"Eaglepaw are you okay?" Amberpaw frantically asked her sister.
"You should be resting, wait did you hear any of that conversation?" The calico asked.
"I heard the end part," Eaglepaw said in a raspy voice, "I support you Rosepaw, but why didn't you tell us sooner?"
"Because she just made the decision," Willowpool said as she emerged, "You didn't tell me."
"Well yeah, I- uhh, I'm going to go now" she scurried out of the den.
Amberpaw exchanged glances with Willowpool, she shrugged and then looked at Eaglepaw. "Do you need anything?"
"No, I'm fine, but my throat is sore, do you have anything for that?"
"Let me see" Willowpool went into the herb store and came back with some honey.
"Here, drink this."
"Thank you," said Eaglepaw.
"So Eaglepaw is ok, right?" Amberpaw asked.
"Yeah it seems her fever has reduced," Willowpool answered.
"How long have I been in here?"
" Roughly one moon."
"What!" Eaglepaw was shocked.
"Yeah, the fever was pretty bad" Amberpaw finally spoke up.
"Your sisters and parents were worried as a cat who lost its tail!"
"Amberpaw," Spottedmist called as she entered, then she saw the sitting Eaglepaw. "Eaglepaw, you're ok!"
"Yeah, was the whole clan worried about me?"
"Yeah, especially since your father's the clan leader."
"Huh."
Amberpaw, It's time for some hunting practice, if I could find Rosepaw."
"Rosepaw's out getting herbs with Spruceleaf," Amberpaw said "Or at least that's what I think she's doing."
Spottedmist turned to Willowpool, "Rosepaw spends so much time helping you, it's like she's your apprentice," Amberpaw and Willowpool looked at each other
"What?" Spottedmist looked confused
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the tallstump for a clan meeting" They all heard Pinestar's loud mew and peeked out of the den
"What's up Pinestar?" Willowpool asked the clan leader
"Eaglepaw has fully recovered!" Pinestar cheered" The whole clan exploded into cheers
"Woah, not fully!" Rosepaw hopped up on the tallstump, Amberpaw was surprised, Rosepaw didn't seem like a cat who would do that. The clan also seemed to be surprised. "I have an announcement too" She took a deep breath
"I'm leaving SkyClan temporarily" The clan gasped "Why!" Snowspeckle cried
"I need to think about things," she said, and she stepped down
"Are you coming back?" Amberpaw asked anxiously
"Maybe," she hurried out of the camp
"No!" Spruceleaf chased after her
Amberpaw looked at him, she wanted to run after her too, but her paws were frozen with shock. Would she choose to come back or stay in the wilderness? If she did come back, would she choose to start a family with Spruceleaf, or would she become a medicine cat?
