Chapter 1 One last thing...
Raven was never good at waiting, she could never understand why things had to wait, especially when she was here ready to do some work, but sadly she had one more person to talk with, in order to save her world, and theirs, she had to make sure everything was set before she went home.
Finally after what seemed like forever, the lady she was looking for at last made her appearance. Stephanie McMahon didn't look like a typical billionare, although to be fair Raven had no idea what a billionare actually was. Her long brown hair hung loosely down her back, a modest almost like business suit on her tall frame. Raven found that she only came up to the girls chest, so Raven found herself having a conversation with her breasts instead of her face.
"Are you Stephanie McMahon?"
"Yes, and you are?" Her eyes shone with a tingle in her voice, she seemed almost happy to see her, there was no questions as to why she was here, how she got in the room and why she was so important.
Raven waved it aside, "Who I am is not important, it's who you are thats important"
Stephanie didn't say anything, she just looked as the small girl started looking around the room in pure delight, her small tattooed hands trailing over everything in the room, laughing to herself about the different textures. Stephanie knew she should have just walked out of the room and maybe called for some help, but this strange girl didn't seem harmful, if anything she seemed to be very friendly. Stephanie could use more friends, at least real friends, the ones she had she figured only wanted her friendship because of her Dad.
"Ok lets get down to business Stephanie, I need you to do me a favour"
"Why would I do that?" Stephanie didn't like the way her eyes changed, going from that soft silver to hard steel, now she felt that weary danger, keeping her cool she slowly made her way to the door.
Her eyes got wide as the small girl merely held up her hand like she was holding something, and then she was holding something, a very nasty looking ball of fire, she was sure that couldn't exsist but there it was, almost dancing in her palm.
"This is a fireball, I suggest if you don't wanna see it up close, you might wanna listen"
Stephanie kept her eyes on that fireball, when she didn't make a move to leave, the fire ball went away and the breath she was holding whooshed out of her.
"In three days a gentleman is gonna approach you and ask for your number, instead of telling him no, like you do with everyone else, this time you're gonna say yes"
"Down!" Raven suddenly shouted hauling Stephanie to the ground, her small body now a shield for the girl, Stephanie let out a scream but was promptly stopped when Raven smacked her hand over her mouth, a finger to her lips.
"Come out Raven! I know you're in here, you are so predictable hunter!"
Stephanie didn't understand it, they were lying in the middle of the floor and yet it was like they were invisible. She chanced a look, to make sure she wasn't going crazy, that scream threatening to pop out again. It had the shape of a Human, only it had horns coming out of it's head, and the more she saw the more horns she saw, down the arms and legs. Bright red blood trailing down its body as it kept trying to get closer to the girls.
Two bright orbs in the middle of what Stephanie guessed was it's face, lit up as they finally landed on her,
"Hello Hu-man, time to die!"
Stephanie screamed squeezing her eyes shut, maybe just maybe when she opened her eyes the beast would be gone and so would the girl. After a few quiet moments, the silence slicing through her ears, she timidly opened her eyes only to find the beast oozing green blood from the spot where it's head should be.
"Change of plans Stephanie, in about two minutes the man in question is going make sure your ok, instead of waiting for him to ask you out, you're gonna ask him out. I would suggest you follow instructions Stephanie unless you want more beasts to come after you"
Stephanie nodded vigiourously, anything to keep that monster away from her. Raven lent down and put her hand on the beast, Stephanie could only hope she wasn't trying to bring it back to life. Instead they both vanished right in front of her, the last thing she saw was that smile on her face, it spread warmth throughout her body and new courage building inside.
Wood thumping knocking pulled Stephanie from her trance, without thinking she opened the door to find one of the newish guys on the other side looking concerned.
"I heard you scream, are you ok?" He towered over her but his blue eyes only showed concern, hoping that he wasn't being too forward, but that strange girl had been very convincing, so against all his instincts to say no, he found looking at Stephanie, he knew he would say yes. Despite the obvious relationship he was in, looking at her face all thoughts of his girlfriend flew right out the window.
"I'm fine, I saw a...spider, it was huge" Stephanie knew her face was going red, she didn't expect him to be so ...handsome, it almost overwhelmed her, but after what she just saw, his normality was the biggest turn-on.
"Are you sure you're ok?"
"Yes I'm fine really, sorry I don't even know your name"
He stuck out a giant hand, surprised when she took it, "I'm Triple H, but you can call me Paul"
The moment Stephanie took it, the rattling, shaking wave of nerves fluttered into her belly, she just knew that her life was never gonna be the same.
