In this chapter, the Aether Team will split up to travel to a Mario world and a Demon Slayer world. The Mario world will be based on Super Mario Sunshine.
Chapter 1: Delfino Island and Taisho Japan Part 1
The Aether Team and Rosalina has arrived to the Comet Observatory, a space station where there are more of those star-like creatures who were seen before. There's also a turquoise sphere as the station's core.
*Comet Observatory 1 - Super Mario Galaxy*
Ila: It's the same stars from before.
A pink star-like creature giggles before being grabbed by Caeli.
Caeli: That one is so cute.
Rosalina: They are called Lumas. It's their home and mine too.
Rei: It feels so different from home.
Rosalina: I know, but you'll get used to being in the Comet Observatory. As you see, we travel the starry skies, checking every world. When a star disappears, it means that a world disappears.
Sara: What do you mean by disappearing?
Rosalina: The Heartless are responsible for the worlds disappearing. They are always going after the Keyhole which leads them to the heart of the world. Only your Keyblades can seal the Keyholes and then save the worlds. At the same time, you cannot say where are you come from to protect the order of the worlds.
Children: Huh...?
Caleb: They didn't tell us that before in the Aether Kingdom.
Aria: It's true. 1,000 years ago, many people from different worlds lived in our homeworld.
Rosalina: I understand your concerns. But in the past, just after the destruction of the Aether Kingdom, most of the survivors departed to different worlds to protect themselves. Sooner or later, they will discover the past of your forgotten kingdom. For now, you have important tasks to do.
Luke: I see.
Caleb: So where do we start?
Rosalina: Aria, Sara, Caleb, Luke, you with your Digimon and Pokemon must depart to this world.
In the map, Rosalina shows a world which has Japanese buildings and the four teens with their partners nodded.
Rosalina: Rei, Ila, Abby, you three go to Delfino Island and search for Mario who also has a Keyblade. I need him to come here.
The map then shows a dolphin-shaped isle and the two children with one teen and their partners nodded.
Kibou: What about us?
Rosalina: For your own good, you two must stay here.
Caeli and Kibou couldn't help but stare sadly at the floor. Shiny Pichu and Luxmon do their best to comfort Kibou while Shiny Popplio and Floramon do the same with Caeli.
Caleb: With your permission, please let me take Caeli. With me, she feels safe since our father passed away.
Sara: Caleb is very similar to our late father.
Aria: The same with Kibou please. Most of the time, he feels very dependent on me after our mom passed away.
Rosalina: I understand.
Caleb: Don't worry. They are safe with us.
Rosalina: OK. Now it's time to go.
The group nods, but then stops.
Veemon: What is the name of the next world?
Rosalina: That world is the Taisho Period. Said world is located in Japan, but better be careful during the night, because there are demons who appear from the shadows.
Caeli:(Scared)Demons...!
Floramon: Don't worry, Caeli. You're safe with us.
Caleb: OK. Now we're ready.

The Aether Team nods and uses Star Shards to travel to two different worlds.
*Stop Music*
World: Delfino Island
The group of Rei, Herissmon, Shiny Sobble, Ila, Hackmon, Shiny Fennekin, Abby, Pomumon, and Polteageist has arrived to the namesake plaza of the dolphin-shaped island. They arrived in the Marketplace.
Herissmon: I wonder where we will find Mario?
Pomumon: Maybe we should ask.
Abby: You're right.
*Delfino Plaza - Super Mario Sunshine*
They nodded before going to search for Mario as they met one of the residents which are known by the skirts made of leaves and having a small palm above their heads. They are known as Piantas.
Rei: Excuse us. We're trying to search for Mario. It is very important.
Pianta: I see. Last time he was here, he was framed by painting the graffiti around Delfino Plaza and other places from Delfino Island. But the real Mario with FLUDD cleaned off the graffiti and recovered the Shrine Sprites.
Hackmon: Who has framed Mario?
Pianta: It was another person who looked like Mario, but one of the Nokis said that it was Bowser Jr. who pretended to be Mario.
Ila: I see. Thank you, sir.
*Stop Music*
The group walks over to the Grand Pianta Statue until they saw a Pianta running away and falling down. The group ran up to the Pianta until they saw his heart flew out from his chest and he disappears. The heart transforms into a Heartless wearing a helmet and red uniform called a Soldier.
Rei: Oh my goodness! Did you guys see that?
Herissmon: We sure did! That guy's heart flew out from his body and it transforms into that creature.
The group ran over to the Soldier Heartless, but it disappears. Suddenly, the same Shadow Heartless starts to appear, but the group uses their Keyblades to defeat them.
Abby: There are still more of those...Heartless.
Ila: First, the Gateway Galaxy and now here. It can't be a coincidence.
?: They'll come after you if you're not careful.
The group turns to see a blonde young man wearing a green tunic and wielding a sword and shield and an anthropomorphic fox wearing a pilot uniform. Then the human kids took their Keyblades in defense.
Rei: Who are you two?
Man: They won't stop appearing as long as you continue to wield the Keyblade.
Fox: However, how come three children like you were chosen?
Ila: What do you mean?
Man: Nevermind. Now, let us see your Keyblades.
Rei: Whoa! There's no way you will get this!
Man: Very well. You give us no choice.
Fox: Apparently, we'll have to take them the hard way.
*Night of Fate - Kingdom Hearts*
The man fires an Arrow from his Bow, but Rei dodges it and attacks the man with Strike Raid. The man then counters by tossing a Boomerang which hits Rei who tried to attack again, but the man jumps past Rei and slashes him from behind, making him scream in pain. Ila gasps before casting Firaga, but the man uses his Hylian Shield to block the attack and then slashes Ila with his Master Sword.
Man: I was expecting someone more experienced.
Abby: We're just getting started!
Abby then joins to assist Rei and Ila.
Pomumon: We'll take care of the other guy.
Polteageist: Poltea!
Fox: OK, I'm facing creatures that I didn't see before.
Herissmon: We'll show you what we're made of.
Polteageist uses Astonish to make a scary face, but the fox dodges before using Fox Illusion as he performs a dashing attack, hitting Polteageist. Hackmon uses Fifth Rush to attack with his claws while Pomumon uses Fruit Rush as a ramming attack, but the fox uses Fire Fox to hit both Digimon with a flaming tackle. Then Shiny Sobble uses Chilling Water which hits the fox with cold water, followed by Herissmon using Needle-Point Dive, which was a Spin Dash-like attack which hits the fox, while Shiny Fennekin uses Fire Spin to surround the fox in a fire tornado.
Fox: OK, you're tougher than I thought.
Now against the man with green tunic, Abby charges at the man and strikes him down by using Sonic Blade, Rei casts Waterga, hitting the man, followed by Ila using Thunder Raid. Then the man got up and threw a Bomb, but the three quickly dodges the attack and Rei performs Quick Blitz.
Man: I've underestimated you. You three truly do know how to use the Keyblade.
Rei: Thanks, and we're not easy to be beaten!
Man: Careful, kid. I'm doing you a favor. At this point, I might have to get serious.
Rei: Bring it on!
Meanwhile, with the fox, Hackmon uses Pepper Breath, Herissmon uses Lightning Quills, Pomumon uses Rapid Seed to fire multiple seed-like bullets, Shiny Sobble uses Water Pulse to fire an orb of water, Shiny Fennekin uses Flamethrower, and Polteageist uses Shadow Ball, but the fox uses a hexagonal reflector which returns the attacks back at the users, hitting them all, and knocking them out. Now back with the man in green tunic, he and Rei clashes blades with each other and went into a blade lock, neither of them backing down. Rei tried to attack again, but the man kicks Rei who counters by using Payback Fang, followed by Ila and Abby casting Blizzaga, but the man launches a Fire Arrow to block them. Then the three of them delivers a big slash on the man's chest, making him fall down.
*Stop Music*
Rei: It's now or...never...
Then the three of them were too tired to continue fighting that they collapsed from exhaustion, dropping their Keyblades. The man stood up, brushing himself off in the process.
Man: Well, they did put up quite a fight.
Fox: That was really unexpected.
?: Don't you think you exaggerated a little, Link?
The green tunic man named Link turns to see a blue light with four wings. It is a fairy.
Link: Me and Fox were just testing them, Navi.
Fox: We better take them to a safe place.
Link and Fox carries the three kids with their Keyblades, Pokemon, and Digimon to a hotel at Sirena Beach.
World: Taisho Japan
The group of Caleb arrives close to a mountain. However, it is nighttime as they saw a sign saying Mount Kumotori.
Caleb: This should be Japan in the the Taisho Period.
Caeli:(Shivering)Brr...
Caleb gave his jacket to his little sister.
Caleb: Here.
Caeli: Thank you, big bro.
Caleb: No problem.
Kibou:(Shivering)It's so cold here...
Aria then kept her baby brother close to keep him warm.
Aria: Don't worry. I got you.
Sara: Maybe we should divide into groups to search for the Keyhole.
Caleb: You're right. Therefore, Aria, Sara, and Kibou with their partners will search away from the mountain while the rest of us will search for the Keyhole in the mountain.
Aria: OK. at the same time, Kibou will be far away from the cold.
The group nods before dividing themselves into two groups and as Caleb's group was walking around the snowy mountain, they found Blue Rhapsodies and Winterhorn Heartless. The Blue Rhapsodies are blue mage-like Heartless while the Winterhorns are blue reindeer-like Heartless.

Luke: Heartless of the Ice-Types!
Caleb: Then let's melt them with fire!
Luke casts Firaga while also using Fire Edge and Fire Raid, Shiny Absol uses Iron Tail to strike the Heartless with his tail transformed into metal, Will-O-Wisp to summon ghostly flames, and Flamethrower, Shiny Mew uses Fire Punch and Fire Fang to do flaming punches and bites, Shiny Popplio uses Disarming Voice and Bubblebeam, Veemon uses V-Shot to fire a small energy ball, Dracomon uses Baby Breath, Floramon uses Rain of Pollen to summon pollen from her flower arms, while Caleb's clothes became purple, gaining Mind Form before using Mind Shot and Magic Haste which he shoots magic energy shots. The group soon defeats all the enemies as Caleb went back to his regular form.
*Stop Music*
Caleb: Those were all of them.
Veemon: Now let's keep moving.
S. Mew: Mew.
They continued walking until they found a house which has the light on. The group approaches the house before knocking the door.
Woman's voice: I'm coming.
Boy's voice: Will he be our brother?
Suddenly, they saw a young woman with five children.
Woman: Oh, you must be freezing outside. Why don't you come inside with us?
Luke: We're not so sure, mistress.
Caeli: Yeah, thank you.
Knowing that it seems impossible to say no that a kind person like her, they accepted to go inside the house. Now with Aria's group, they arrived into another town which is faraway from the snow.
Aria: Feeling better, Kibou?
Kibou nods twice. Aria smiles before petting his head and Kibou couldn't help but giggle in delight.
Lunamon: This place seems quiet.
Suddenly, they hear a clash.
Luxmon: What was that?
Pulsemon: I hear a clash!
The group moves closer to town to search for the source of the sound and they saw a man with white hair, wearing a red shirt, and white pants, but that man has two fans and injured the neck of a young woman around 19 years old, wearing a black kimono, and a pink haori. She has butterfly hairclips on both sides of her hair and her katana is also broken.
Aria: Hey, you leave her alone!
The man with fans turned to see the two teenage girls with the small boy and their Digimon and Pokemon.
Man: Oh my. Fresh meat.
Woman: Get away from that demon...!
Sara:(Startled)Demon...?
Demon: That's right. I'm Doma. Nice to meet you.
Aria: Not for us...!
Even if Aria could see that charming smile on the demon, she didn't look convinced and turns to Sara and hands Kibou to her.
Kibou: Sister...
Aria: Sara, take care of Kibou and heal that woman. Me and Lunamon will fight against Doma.
She summons her Keyblade and pulls out her D-Ark and then Lunamon starts to Digivolve while Alcremie also got ready.
Lunamon: Lunamon Matrix Digivolve to...CRESCEMON!
Lunamon has Digivolved into a bigger version of Lekismon with a scythe and shield and wearing metal gauntlets and boots.
Doma: This could get interesting.
Aria: You mean things will get ugly!
*Evil Invitation - Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow*
Doma pulls out two fans before swinging them, but they were blocked by Crescemon's blade, who then uses Ice Archery to fire an ice arrow, while Alcremie uses Mystical Fire to summon magical flames. Then Aria triple slashes Doma with her Keyblade and casts Firaga, but then the demon released an icy breath, but Aria quickly casts Protega and while they are fighting against Doma, Sara and Kibou are seeing the injured young woman.
Sara: Are you okay?
The woman got up weakly and was streaming some tears.
Woman: I think so...But what are you two doing here?
Sara quickly summons her Keyblade.
Sara: Heal!
She quickly casts Curaga and heals the woman from her wounds, but she is still tired.
Woman: What was that? Who are you?
Sara: I'm Sara, and that was a healing spell.
Pulsemon: I'm Pulsemon.
Sara points to her Shiny Celebi.
Sara: And she is Celebi.
S. Celebi: Celebi.
Kibou:(Shyly)Kibou...and Pichu
S. Pichu: Pichu.
Luxmon: I'm Luxmon.
Woman: I'm Kanae Kocho...
Sara: Kanae, please take care of Kibou while I'm fighting against that demon!
Kanae nods as Sara, Shiny Celebi, and Pulsemon went to face Doma while Kibou stays with Kanae. However, he, Shiny Pichu, and Luxmon nods at each other and Luxmon starts to Digivolve.
Luxmon: Luxmon Digivolve to...PIDDOMON!
Sara, Shiny Celebi, and Pulsemon watches and then they decided to do the same.
Pulsemon: Pulsemon Warp Digivolve to...BOUTMON!
Pulsemon has Digivolved into a yellow and black Kabuki Warrior. Then Sara along with the two Pokemon and two Digimon joins Aria, Alcremie, and Crescemon.
Doma: More members, the merrier.
Doma went faster and slashes both Sara and Aria while Kanae quickly covers Kibou's eyes, but Aria quickly casts Curaga to heal herself and Sara too. The demon then sent ice lotuses towards both girls, but Piddomon swings his staff to block the attack. Boutmon uses Buden Blast to fire energy shots from his hands, Shiny Celebi uses Magical Leaf, while Shiny Pichu uses Swift to fire multiple shooting stars, followed by Sara performing Sonic Blade and casting Thundaga, Crescemon using Lunatic Dance to slash Doma with her Nova Luna Blades, Alcremie using Dazzling Gleam, and Aria casting Blizzaga and then performing Strike Raid. Then Doma summons several lotus' vines made of ice which lashes the team members.
Sara: That demon is stronger...!
Aria: Just a bit more...!
Doma swings his fans again, but Piddomon blocks the attack before using Piddo Speed to dash at lightspeed and bashing Doma with his Holy Rod, Crescemon then uses Dark Archery which she fires an arrow of darkness, Shiny Celebi uses Psychic to telekinetically hold Doma in the air, while Shiny Pichu uses Thunderbolt to zap Doma, but felt tired after using the Electric-Type attack, followed by Aria performing Stun Impact and casting Blizzaga, followed by Boutmon using Storm Blows to deliver a Close Combat-like move against Doma. Sara performs Ars Arcanum and Ragnarok to slash Doma multiple times and fire multiple energy spheres, Aria performs Prism Rain Shotlock to fire multiple multicolored energy spheres, while Sara performs Thunderstorm Shotlock to fire multiple electric spheres.
Aria: Why he is strong?
Doma: This gladly could answer your question.
Then Doma reveals kanji symbols on his eyes.
Doma: I'm the Upper Rank Two.
Sara: Then try this!
Aria and Sara then gain new outfits. Aria's form is Ba-Gua Form and Sara's form is Mian-Chuan Form.
Doma: Don't you think those outfits look very revealing?
Aria: We're used to this.
Then Doma sent three miniature ice replicas of himself to attack, but Aria uses Circle Raid to throw her Keyblade around herself which destroys the ice replicas before using Tornado to summon a tornado which rose Doma before aerial slashing him with more strength. Sara teleports behind Doma before slashing him from behind and then delivers a knee strike against Doma, then he tossed his fans at both girls, but both girls blocked them with their Keyblades. Then Crescemon uses Dark Archery, Alcremie uses Disarming Voice, Boutmon uses Buden Blast, Shiny Celebi uses Energy Ball, Shiny Pichu uses Electro Ball, while Piddomon uses Fire Feather with the six attacks hitting the demon and before Doma could attack, the sunrise was getting close.
Doma: Uh-oh! My time is up. But it was a pleasure in meeting you all.
*Stop Music*
Doma disappears from their sight. The three Digimon reverts to their regular forms, the two girls went back to their regular forms too, and then they hear Kanae groaning in pain.
Sara: Kanae!
Then both Sara and Aria went and supports Kanae to get up.
Aria: We'll help you...!
Kanae got up weakly, but smiles with a gratitude.
Kanae: Thank you...
?: Sister!
Then they turned to see another young woman around 16 years old with black hair and tints of purple. She has a butterfly hairclip, wore the same uniform as Kanae, but a white haori. Then Kanae streams some tears, feeling lucky that she was saved in time, or she could not see her little sister.
Kanae: Shinobu...
Aria couldn't help but stream tears of relief, realizing that she saved a sister from a different family and turned to see the girl named Shinobu.
Aria: A demon attacked, but we saved your sister. Now we must hurry up!
Shinobu streams some tears of relief, but then she nods before joining to assist Kanae and heal her wounds. As they were walking, Shinobu couldn't help but smile in gratitude at the two new girls.
Shinobu: Thank you for helping my sister.
Sara: No problem.
Aria: Also, you look pretty when you smile. Even I like that smile.
Shinobu couldn't help but blush at the compliment.
Shinobu: Well, I'm not used to do it.
Kanae: Shinobu, your new friends told you the same words as me...
Shinobu:(Embarrassed)New friends? When?
Kanae:(Giggles)Right now.
Shinobu:(Embarrassed)Kanae...!
Kibou:(Giggles)Heh.
Shinobu couldn't help but feel fascination with Kibou. Despite his shy-looking demeanor, he looks so innocent.
Shinobu: OK. I must take care of Kanae.
Kibou: Will we meet again someday?
Shinobu kneels at Kibou's level to ruffle his hair and extends her right pinky finger.
Shinobu: Pinky promise.
Kibou nods twice before using his left pinky finger with Shinobu's for the pinky promise. Eventually, she did the same with the others as Shinobu takes off, still carrying Kanae to their home.
Aria: We better reunite with Caleb and the others and find the Keyhole.
The group left the town and kept exploring the area around Mount Kumotori.
That's it for chapter 1. Next time, Rei's group will finally meet Mario in Delfino Island while Caleb and Aria's groups will reunite to battle Muzan in Taisho Japan.
