Chapter 14: Hero of Winds Part 2
*Ganondorf Theme - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time*
In another room, T. Ganondorf watches the Aether Team through a projection.
T. Ganondorf: Even without the Triforce, the boy who has connection with the Hero of Time got to the other temples and those children were able to defeat my monsters without problems. However, they didn't face the phantom version of myself. At least not yet, which means that they would be in a disadvantage.
*Inside Ganon's Castle - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time*
The group are now in corridor with stairs, but at the same time, small versions of the Bokoblins known as Miniblins appeared along with the monkey-like Powerwild Heartless, but T. Link and Mario swings their weapons to defeat them.
Rei: From all the enemies that we faced, those were very easy to defeat.
The group continues until they arrived into a dark circular move which has two doors on the right and left and a wall with a peculiar symbol.
Rei: So where will we go first?
Sara: First, let's try with the right door.
Just as Sara said, they went to the door and upwards, they saw candles with the symbols of each giant monster that they faced before.
Caleb: The single candle has the giant worm as the symbol.
Luke: The one with two candles, it is below the giant fire arthropod.
Aria: The one with the three candles, it is below the giant ghost.
Mario: And the last one, the four candles-a are below the symbol of the giant plant.
T. Link: What is it supposed to mean?
Sara: Maybe we should know more details after seeing the room from the left door.
Just as Sara explained, they left the room before returning to the central room and then they went to the left door where they saw a room which had water and four beacons above them.
Sara: So now it makes sense.
T. Link: What do you mean?
Pulsemon: Sara is the Digidestined of Intuition and therefore, she figures every riddle in the dungeons.
S. Celebi: Celebi.
Sara: And now I got the meaning of the number of candles while seeing the beacons. T. Link, you have to use your Boomerang first on the right background beacon, then on the left front beacon, later the right front beacon, and lastly, the left background beacon.
T. Link: OK.
Just as Sara explained, T. Link tossed his Boomerang in the order that Sara explained and then a dark energy portal appears in the water and from the tunnel, the King of Red Lions appeared himself.
T. Link:(Yelping)Hwah!
Caeli: How did you appear there?
King of Red Lions: Well, it's kinda complicated. But that portal is where Ganon was able to seep into the unsuspecting world above and at the same time, we shall make use of that path if there's anything from the world above that Link could need.
Sara: Maybe we could see what is beyond that portal.
Caleb: Mew, transform into Lapras.
S. Mew nods before transforming into a blue plesiosaurus Pokémon with a white underbelly and a gray shell on the back. The group climbs above Mew transformed as Lapras while T. Link was above the King of Red Lions.
*Forsaken Fortess - Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker*
Just after entering the portal, the group appears in a stone-structured fortress.
King of Red Lions: It's the Forsaken Fortress.
Dracomon: Do you know this place?
T. Link: Yeah, it was when I came to rescue my sister Aryll. However, I didn't come well-prepared the first time. Only until the second time here, I was able to rescue her while also defeating the giant bird who captured my sister.
Aether Team: Whoa.
Both siblings were amazed after hearing the rescue of a family member.
Lunamon: So what kinda giant bird was it?
King of Red Lions: Helmaroc King. It was sent by Ganondorf when he was searching for Zelda, but Ganondorf finally found her. Not directly.
Sara: And seeing this portal in the Forsaken Fortress, that was how Ganondorf can go from the surface to the bottom of the sea and vice-versa.
T. Link: And I think I had enough to go back.
Caleb: Then let's go back.
The group nods before entering the portal and came back to Ganon's Tower.
*Inside Ganon's Castle*
The Aether Team plus Mario climbs off from Lapras who then transforms back to S. Mew while T. Link climbs off from the King of Red Lions before returning to the same room with the handles and the dark void.
Caeli:(Afraid)It looks so dark down there.
S. Popplio:(Afraid)Popplio…
Kibou:(Afraid)I'm not so sure about going down there.
S. Pichu:(Afraid)Pichu…
Caleb: Mew, use Psychic to bring us softly through that void.
Sara: You too, Celebi.
Both Shiny Mew and Celebi nods before using Psychic to lift the group and go there through the dark void while T. Link jumps before using a green leaf known as the Deku Leaf, being used as a glider to fall slowly through the void and then the group appears into a circular room with four doors.
Luxmon: What is this place?
Floramon: I don't know.
*Phantom Ganon Battle - Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker*
Suddenly, five black figures with cyan outlines holding swords known as Phantom Ganon appears, surrounding the group as the five Phantom Ganons prepared to slash them, but Mario, Caleb, Luke, Rei, and Aria uses Strike Raid, hitting the five phantoms. Four of them disappeared, but one stood on his knees. T. Link slashes him with his Master Sword and Phantom Ganon disappears as his sword was there, standing until falling to the floor, pointing to the south door.
Veemon: What was that?
Dracomon: I don't know.
Luke: We didn't face ghost enemies in the lands below Skyloft.
T. Link: I faced Phantom Ganon before in the Forsaken Fortress. Why did he appear here?
Sara: Well, just after defeating Phantom Ganon, his sword fell down and points to the south door, meaning that it could be our guide to get outta here.
Just as Sara explained, the group went to the south door and opens it, but it is the same room like the previous one and then Phantom Ganon appears, floating above the group.
Rei: Him again?
Herissmon: We defeated him previously!
Hackmon: Apparently, he wants a rematch.
S. Sobble: Sobble…!
S. Fennekin: Fen…!
Then Phantom Ganon creates a huge sphere of red energy which was exploded into alot of them, but T. Link quickly performs his Spin Attack with the Master Sword and also reflects the attack back at Phantom Ganon who was hit while falling down and standing on one knee until Ila uses Thunder Raid which hits Phantom Ganon who disappears and left his sword again which fell, pointing to east door.
Pomumon: Now it points to that door.
Abby: We have to follow that direction.
The group went through the east door, but again in the same room, Phantom Ganon appears once more.
Ila:(Annoyed)Oh, come on…!
Then Phantom Ganon launches a sphere of electricity, but Mario bashes it by swinging his Keyblade, but Phantom Ganon deflects it back. Both of them kept swinging and deflecting, seeming like a tennis match until Phantom Ganon was unable to block his own attack as he collapsed on one knee, allowing Mario to hit him by using Rising Sun, making Phantom Ganon disappear and leave his sword which fell to the ground again and pointing to the east door.
Rei: Again, the east door.
Ila: I hope it doesn't take so long.
Abby: We just have to be patient if we wanna get outta this room-like maze.
Then the group continues moving, beating Phantom Ganon, following the sword's pointing directions, until they arrived into a room with just one door as an exit.
Sara: Hopefully, that door would be the exit.
Luke: However, we have to defeat Phantom Ganon first.
Then Phantom Ganon appears behind Caleb who reacts quickly before jumping and performing a Helm Splitter as he hits Phantom Ganon from behind and follows by delivering a thrusting slash, making Phantom Ganon disappear. Suddenly, a treasure chest appears in the center of the room which was opened by Link, revealing a golden glowing arrow called the Light Arrow.
Mario: Wow! The Light Arrow!
Then the front door was unlocked.
Rei: Finally, we will get outta here.
The group went to the front door and then they appeared in the same room with the peculiar wall, but then Phantom Ganon appears, floating.
Aria: Link, use the Light Arrows!
Just as Aria said, T. Link prepares his Hero Bow and fires a Light Arrow which hits Phantom Ganon who growls in pain as he was engulfed by the light before vanishing in a flash of gold and only the sword was left behind.
*Inside Ganon's Castle*
Sara: Maybe that wall could be destroyed if any of us toss Phantom Ganon's sword.
Just as Sara explained, T. Link grabs Phantom Ganon's sword before throwing it at the wall and then the wall radiates with bright light before it dissipates, revealing more path up ahead.
Mario: Just a bit more. Let's-a keep it going.
The group advances through another corridor with stairs, but at the same time, they face Moblins along with Mighty Darknuts who have dark red armors with red capes and even red crests in the helmets along with chubby Heartless dressed as bandits called Fat Bandit, red versions of the Defenders known as Eliminators, and also Neoshadows and Aerial Vikings. Toon Link tried to use his Light Arrow until Sara stops him.
Sara: Wait! Better use it when it is necessary.
Mario: Sara is-a right. You better use the Light Arrows-a when you face Ganondorf.
T. Link: OK.
Then Caleb activates his Courage Form, Luke activates a new ninja form which is black like a shadow clone known as Umbra Form, while Aria activates a new form which has light blue special gauntlets, combat boots, half-long miniskirt which will allow her to move her legs freely, dark blue shirt with light blue short sleeves, shoulder pads, and her hair is tied into ponytail. She is now known as Cure Aether.
Luke: OK, this is new.
Aria: Finally! Now I'm Cure Aether!
Caleb attacks by performing H-V Swing, Aerial U-D Swing, Sonic Strike, and Brave Beat. Mario casts multiple Firaga Spells to burn the Mighty Darknuts' capes. Luke uses Confusing Teleport as he teleports behind the Mighty Darknuts and slices behind their armors while getting rid of their armors, then follows by using Ghost Ball to fire ghostly fireballs, and Tele-Slash which he teleports close to the enemies to slash them. T. Link uses his skills like Back Slice as he rolls behind a Moblin to jump and slash him from behind and Helm Splitter against a Darknut. Rei performs Jump Strike as he jumps while swinging his Keyblade and slamming it to the ground while producing a shockwave to hit the enemies surrounding him. Aria as Cure Aether performs Star Kick as she unleashes energy with star powder surrounding her legs to kick the enemies, Star Punch which her gauntlets were surrounded with star powder to punch the enemies, and Star Blast as she creates five-pointed star-shaped blasts to launch them at the enemies. The other Keyblade Wielders along with their Digimon and Pokemon uses their known moves until they defeated all the enemies and then Caleb along with Luke and Aria returns to their regular forms.
Lunamon: Those were the last ones.
Alcremie: Cremie.
Suddenly, the group hears a door being unlocked.
Veemon: Now let's go.
S. Mew: Mew.
*Stop Music*
Then the group enters through the door and enters a tall room which they waded into the pool of shallow water, but then they saw a king-sized bed in the middle of the room. Behind the two slightly transparent silky curtains, there is a girl with blonde hair, peacefully sleeping on the bed.
T. Link:(Whispering)It's Zelda.
Luke:(Whispering)But why is she in a king-sized bed?
Abby:(Whispering)I don't know…
Mario:(Whispering)Let's-a walk slowly and in silence.
They continued walking without making any noise.
?: Do you sleep still?
*Hesitation*
Then they noticed T. Ganondorf.
Caleb: Ganondorf…
T. Ganondorf: So we meet at last.
T. Link tried to advance and attack.
T. Ganondorf: Wait!
Luke: Now what? Still letting Princess Zelda sleep in your bed?
T. Ganondorf: Do not be so hasty…
Caleb: Huh?
They saw how T. Ganondorf moves his hand above the sleeping princess without disturbing her dream and at the same time, the golden triangle in his hand was glowing. A part of the Triforce.
Aria:(Whispering)It's the Triforce of Power…
T. Ganondorf: I can see this girl's dreams…Oceans…Oceans…Oceans…Oceans…Oceans as far as the eye can see. They are vast seas…None can swim across them…They yield no fish to catch…What did the King of Hyrule say? That the gods sealed Hyrule away? And they left behind people who would one day awaken Hyrule?
Then T. Ganondorf turns to see the group.
Rei: Are you done yet?
T. Ganondorf: Hmph! Yes…But how ridiculous…So many pathetic creatures, scattered across a handful of islands, drifting on this sea like fallen leaves on a forgotten pool…What can they possibly hope to achieve? Don't you see? All of you…YOUR GODS DESTROYED YOU!
Caeli gasps quietly in fear as she clungs to Caleb while Kibou did the same with Aria.
Caleb: What are you talking about?
T. Ganondorf: I have been waiting for you. Boy and also Keyblade Wielders. For ones like you…Yes…For the Hero and the Chosen Ones by the Keyblade. Do not betray my expectations.
*Stop Music*
Then T. Ganondorf increased his size while releasing a blood-curdling scream that even reaches the bed's curtains as the children watches in horror. Caeli hides behind Caleb and Kibou hides behind Aria while Ganondorf transforms into a giant puppet with strings included, but at the same time, the bed Zelda was sleeping in is gone, turning this entire room into an arena. Now known as Puppet Ganon, he slams both fists to the ground.
Caleb: Let's do this!
Ila: OK, remembering the battle against the giant plant, we must use Strike Raid against the giant puppet's strings!
*Puppet Ganon Puppet Mode - Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker*
The group nods at Ila's words before the Keyblade Wielders used Strike Raid against Puppet Ganon's strings and also, T. Link tossed his Boomerang. Also, they have to avoid being smashed by Puppet Ganon's fists. They continued tossing their weapons until the tail is on the ground and T. Link uses a Light Arrow, hitting the light blue orb from Puppet Ganon's tail as the giant puppet feels the zap from the Light Arrow before going up and then went down with the strings restored. Then Puppet Ganon spins around before launching his fists, trying to smash the group, but they dodged his attack and kept tossing their weapons until they cut down the strings, but then Keese and Hookbats appeared.
Hackmon: We'll take care of the enemies!
S. Fennekin: Fennekin!
S. Sobble: Sobble!
Rei: OK!
While the Digimon and Pokemon are fighting against the bat-like enemies, T. Link manages to launch another Light Arrow, hitting Puppet Ganon's tail again. The giant puppet felt the zap before going up and then down with the strings restored.
Sara: You know the saying: Third time's the charm.
Just as the group tried to launch their weapons, more Keese and Hookbats appeared, but they've managed to take care of them before launching their weapons to slice the giant puppet's strings. Then Puppet Ganon swings his tail as the group kept their distance for avoiding being hit before the Keyblade Wielders continued by using Strike Raid. Puppet Ganon approaches the group and tried to stomp them with his body, but they dodged his attack. Then T. Link launches his Light Arrow, hitting Puppet Ganon's light blue orb on the tail, causing Puppet Ganon to feel zapped before roaring in pain, bouncing several times before hanging and seemingly being beaten.
Kibou: Is it over?
Sara: I think not…
*Puppet Ganon Spider Mode - Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker*
Suddenly, Puppet Ganon began to move and stand up, towering over the group. Then his limbs started to sink into the main body, preparing for another transformation as his torso went all wobbly before it shatters and turns into purple smoke as Puppet Ganon crashes back to the ground. Now the retracted limbs were spider legs and Puppet Ganon's whole body was that of a giant spider.
Luke: OK, here we go again!
Then Puppet Ganon lifts himself before spinning above the group.
Aria: Look down below!
Just as Aria pointed, the group saw Puppet Ganon's reflection in the water. He kept spinning until he plummeted down, trying to stomp them, but they dodged his attack as T. Link was close to the light blue orb before firing a Light Arrow to hit Puppet Ganon's weak point who bounces up in pain. Then more Hookbats and Keese appeared, but they were easily defeated as the group kept paying attention to Puppet Ganon's movement through the water's reflection. When Puppet Ganon plummets down, they dodged again and T. Link launched his Light Arrow to hit him.
Abby: Just one more!
The Hookbats and Keese kept appearing, but the group manages to defeat them as Puppet Ganon kept spinning above them. They kept watching and watching until Puppet Ganon plummets down, but they dodged again and T. Link launched a Light Arrow, hitting Puppet Ganon's weak point again and then he roars in pain as he bounces over to the middle of the room.
*Puppet Ganon Snake Mode - Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker*
The group watches the spider limbs suddenly flail wildly and curl towards the main body before they exploded into purple smoke and Puppet Ganon took the form of a snake as he starts crawling in circles.
Luke: Now this is like facing a giant Moldorm. Except that the first one was a centipede.
Puppet Ganon was crawling around the place, trying to hit the group as they barely dodged his attacks until T. Link launches a Light Arrow, hitting Puppet Ganon's tail who bounces in pain and kept crawling around the place and then one-eyed black urchin-like creatures with orange spikes known as Morths were raining down.
Ila: Ugh…What are those things…?
Rei: They are so annoying!
Caleb: Let's get rid of them!
The Keyblade Wielders were swinging their Keyblades, hitting the Morths to defeat them, while T. Link manages to launch another Light Arrow, hitting Puppet Ganon's tail as he bounces in pain and kept crawling around the place. T. Link fires another Light Arrow, hitting Puppet Ganon's tail who bounces and roars painfully. The snake body bounces to the middle of the room again, roaring and spinning into the air before exploding entirely into purple smoke, leaving only the red string behind as it was now serving as a rope to climb up.
*Stop Music*
T. Link:(Panting)Finally…We did it…
However, T. Link was panting tiredly along with the Keyblade Wielders and their partners. Their energy being sapped from the intense battle. Suddenly, they heard a laugh coming from all the way up at the support beams, belonging to T. Ganondorf who was holding Zelda on his arms. Said princess was wearing a pinkish-purple dress.
T. Ganondorf: Yes. Surely, you are the Hero of Time reborn…The red plumber showed alot of potential in the fighting tournaments and now with the Keyblade. And lastly, the group of children by the Keyblades, you're the ones who have mastery and skillfulness with the Keyblade just like Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. Your time has come…Come now…Stand before me!
Then T. Ganondorf slowly levitates into the air, rising higher into the tower until he was gone.
T. Link:(Groaning)Ugh…What should I do now…?
Sara: Just leave this to Mew and Celebi.
S. Celebi: Bi.
Caleb: You heard her, Mew.
S. Mew: Mew.
Both Shiny Pokemon uses Psychic to lift the whole group towards the support beams until they reached the exit door where they landed close to it.
Luke: OK, the time has come.
Mario: Let's-a go!
The group nods before going outside to face and defeat T. Ganondorf once and for all.
That's it for chapter 14. Next time, our heroes will engage in a final battle with Toon Ganondorf.
