"So, Cooler is in the Southern Quadrant of the Universe?" Monaito asked with a frown as all the commanders and their leader sat at the meeting table, Granolah frowning in slight confusion as he nodded.
"That's what Elec said, but I would take it with a grain of salt. He also gave us the location of Turles' fortress in the Eastern Quadrant and Slug's fortress in the Western Quadrant, but said that they would most likely be with Cooler because he's looking for something. The only question is…what?"
"Perhaps something that could help him conquer the universe in one fell swoop? However, what would be powerful enough to let that happen?" Paragus asked with a frown and Meruem let them talk as he was occupied with his own thoughts.
' 'A technological and biological marvel that will make Cooler the strongest in the universe'? Wasn't there that one movie about Meta-Cooler where he had that planet-sized mass of technology that let him create thousands of copies of himself? Is that the technological marvel he was referring to? If so, we have to finish him off early because I do not want to deal with thousands of Meta-Coolers trying to fight me.'
"Lord Meruem?" Meruem blinked as he was pulled from his thoughts by the sound of Garana's voice, looking up to see everyone giving him slightly concerned looks.
"Apologies. What were we talking about?"
"The weapon that Cooler is looking for. Do you perhaps know what it is?"
"I may have a slight idea of what it is and even then, I find it hard to believe that it actually exists."
"If it has even you this concerned, then perhaps we might to take this more seriously." Bonyu spoke up with a frown and Meruem sighed as he leaned back into his throne.
"I think what Cooler is looking for is called the Gete Star."
"The…Gete Star?" Cheelai asked with a slight frown and Meruem nodded as he crossed his arms.
"I myself do not know much other than what I know from King Cold's memories, but it is supposed to be a computer chip with an evolving AI that attracts any space debris it can find and fuse that with its core. As far as I can see from the memories, it was the size of a dwarf planet the last time King Cold had seen it before it vanished from all sensors and tracking systems."
"And you believe that Cooler learned about this from his father?" Paragus asked before his frown deepened as I nodded.
"King Cold had killed anyone other than himself who knew of it so he was the only one Cooler could have learned it from."
'Man, I am bullshitting out of my ass here.' I thought with a subtle sigh of relief as they seemed to buy my story, everyone having deep frowns before I turned to Garana as he spoke up.
"When did King Cold see this star?"
"Twenty…four years ago, I believe. Why do you ask?"
"That was the same year that King Cold and Cooler went out on an expedition to the Southern Quadrant, but he returned without Cooler with him any more. I believe King Cold showed off this Gete Star to Cooler before trying to take him out, but Cooler managed to beat off his father and escaped with the knowledge."
"However, since it's been twenty four years and we know that he's looking for it, the star must still be floating around in the Southern Quadrant and that would explain why he based the new Cooler HQ in that quadrant."
"Hah, there is at least a silver lining in this whole mess." Meruem muttered, everyone nodding in agreement before the Bio-Android shook his head as he looked at his commanders.
"Pushing all of that back to the side, how goes the liberation of the planets we had marked from the Cooler Force."
"We of the Eastern Quadrant have managed to destroy 64% of our marked bases and staffed 71% of them with members of our forces as well as the liberated cities." Garana reported and Meruem nodded with a smile before turning to Cheelai as she spoke up.
"We of the Western Quadrant have destroyed 81% of our marked targets and have staffed 60% of them with our own men and the liberated citizens."
"Wonderful. Supply routes?"
"All destroyed to make sure that neither help nor distress calls can me made to other armies."
"And the supplies?"
"All were brought to me and they are now safety stored in our many supply warehouses." Monaito spoke up and Meruem smiled proudly as he nodded.
"Well done, then. Just a bit more longer and we'll finally be able to take out Cooler and his army once and for all." Considering that the number of planets they took out were nearly ten thousand, the emperor was more than pleased at their success rate.
At first, he wanted to take out the bases on every planet allied with Cooler to make sure they had the odds stacked in their favour, but he realized how idiotic of a plan that was when one remembered that Cooler now controlled 70% of all planets throughout the universe and that each quadrant had at least trillions of planets inside of it.
So with Paragus', Monaito's and Garana's help, they had decided to go with a plan that while less time-consuming, would still deliver excellent results if done right.
They just needed to take out the most developed planets in each galaxy and destroy any supplies that the Cooler Force might have to make sure that the people on the other planets would be forced to fight for themselves.
Considering that each battalion only managed to take out a tenth of their full target, this was more of a long-term plan for this war while Meruem used this time to figure out a quicker way to finish this war.
'However, if Cooler gets the Gete Star, that will raise the average power of his army tremendously to the point that only I, Broly and Granolah might even be able to fight long enough. I suppose that all-out battle of this war might come sooner rather than later.'
"Emperor Meruem!" Merum quickly snapped from his thoughts as he deactivated the holographic diagrams with a wave of his hand the moment the doors opened, relaxing along with everyone else as he saw that it was just Lemo in his lab coat rushing in.
However, as he saw the panicked look on Lemo's face, he frowned as he realized that the alien was not here to deliver good news.
"Lemo. What's the matter?"
"Do you…do you remember how you told me to keep an eye out for any strange ships and/ or individuals that might come along to search for the Heeter siblings?" He asked and Meruem nodded before looking at the table as Lemo pressed a button on the tablet in his hands and showed a holographic video on the table.
His frown then deepened as he saw the giant Namekian and the dull grey-skinned Saiyan standing on the destroyed remains of the Heeter Clan's castle.
"This was recorded by one of our satellites just mere moments ago before I arrived."
"Good work, Lemo. Broly, Granolah, let's go."
"You mean to face off against them, my lord?" Bonyu asked with a concerned look and Meruem snorted as he shook his head while placing a hand on both Broly's and Granolah's shoulders.
"No, these two are. You two are my strongest commanders and if you can take out his, there is no need any more for me to sit around and let Cooler get that Gete Star. The rest of you, I need you all to stay put and get ready because after Broly and Granolah have defeated Slug and Turles, we are going to take out as many bases as we possibly can, understood?"
"You mean if we win, right?" Granolah asked before shaking his head with a smirk as Meruem gave him an amused smile.
"Are you going to let a Saiyan beat you?"
"Hell no."
"Then, it is when. You ready, big guy?"
"I am." Broly spoke with a slight frown and a nod and Meruem nodded as he stretched his ki sensing out to where they had found the Heeter Clan, feeling the two monstrous energies there as well as searching for a barren planet with very little life that they can use as a battlefield.
'Got it.'
"We'll be back in a flash." Meruem spoke with a smile and with a pop, the three fighters vanished and appeared right behind a surprised Slug and a glaring Turles.
"Grab them!" Meruem shouted as he continued to keep a hand on his commanders' shoulders, Broly having already grabbed Slug's fist with a grunt while Granolah moved around Turles' kick before hooking his arm around the Saiyan's leg.
The next moment, their environment shifted from the space ship to a vast desert planet, Meruem leaping back right as Broly dragged Slug to the ground while Granolah kicked Turles far into the distance.
"Don't take it easy!" Meruem shouted and Granolah nodded before he rushed after the Saiyan, the Bio-Android watching as the two fighters clashed before looking back to the ground as Broly and Slug charged into each other.
'Time to see if their training bore fruit.'
As soon as Granolah threw Turles, the Saiyan had already flipped over and faced him while unleashing a barrage of Finger Beams from his raised index finger only for Granolah to cancel them out with his own beams.
Flying at a rapid pace towards the Saiyan, the Cerealian quickly vanished and appeared in front of Turles with a hand aimed for his throat, but Turles quickly moved his head out of the way while catching his wrist.
Kicking at Granolah's side, the Cerealian felt the wind get knocked out of him by the harsh blow before delivering his own precision strike to the man's chest and Turles wheezed as he felt his armour shatter at the point of impact.
Pushing Granolah away with a kick while flying backwards, Turles held a hand to his chest before cursing at the sight of blood staining his fingers, but he didn't get long to rest as Granolah was back on him with a flurry of hand strikes.
Turles was being pressured by the attacks as he dodged and parried them, surprised to see a warrior other than Lord Cooler and Slug that was powerful enough to take him on.
'Damnit! I just…need one…opening!' Turles gasped as he took the blow aimed at his chest while twisting his body slightly to the left, Granolah's eyes widening as the Saiyan had managed to avoid the strike to his heart while pushing his arm to the side.
"Kill Driver!" Turles didn't waste any time as he created a ring of orange energy sparking with electricity before slamming the ring into the Cerealian's side, sending him flying off to the side into the distance where he crashed into the ground with a powerful explosion.
However, Turles didn't care as he reached into his armour and pulled out a small durian-like fruit before eating it one gulp, taking a deep breath as Granolah shot out of the ground just in time to see Turles let out a monstrous roar.
A pillar of dark purple energy shot from his body and darkened the sky, the Cerealian continuing his flight towards the Saiyan despite the unnerved feeling appearing his body as he saw Turles' body bulk up and grow taller.
Aiming his index and middle fingers at Turles in the shape of pistols, he unleashed a bombardment of ki blasts before watching in shock as Turles grinned and shot right through them all, gripping Granolah by the face as he flew both of them to the ground.
The next moment, pain exploded in his back as he was dragged back first across the ground, Turles' cackles echoing in the air as he grunted and threw the Cerealian into a mountain.
"Sudden Storm!" Turles however did not let up as he flew up high before aiming his palm at the mountain, malevolent purple ki charging up before a barrage of purple ki blasts flew through the air and bombarded the mountain from all sides.
"Hahahahahaha~!" Turles did not care as he continued to unleash blast after blast, the ecstasy he felt from his new power clouding his mind and making him miss the flash of ki right before he gasped as a Finger Beam came from his side and shot him far back.
"What?!"The Saiyan gasped as he turned in the direction of the blast, but he frowned as he saw nothing in that direction before quickly moving back as a Finger Beam missed his head and impacted the ground with a powerful blast.
Spinning in the direction that the beam came from while unleashing another Sudden Stormin that direction, he gritted his teeth as his blasts exploded against nothing but rubble before spinning around right as he felt another blast near him.
He was very surprised though as it was just another Finger Beam heading for his face, quickly swatting the blast away only to wheeze as another blast came from below and knocked his head back.
That was what Granolah was waiting for as he appeared from thin air behind the Saiyan with a fully charged blast at his finger tips, Turles turning around only to roar in pain as a powerful ki blast slammed into his chest and sent him crashing to the ground.
'Thank the divines I learned that ki suppression from Meruem.' Granolah thought with a smirk as he floated in the air, not wishing to waste his energy and aimlessly shoot energy into the ground like Turles did.
However, he frowned as the injuries he got from Turles' abrupt power-up still ached with every breath that he took, cracking his back and rolling his shoulders right as Turles shot off from the ground with a roar.
The next moment, the skies trembled as the two disappeared and reappeared rapidly in the skies, each clash of their blows sending shockwaves out while Turles growled as Granolah expertly parried and blocked his attacks to make sure he got minimal damage from each exchange.
Granolah however was perfectly aiming his attacks through the guard of the berserk Saiyan's frantic attacks to hit points at his body, cracking and fracturing the body armour Turles wore before ducking under a heel kick aimed at his neck.
However, that was a feint and Turles grinned as he unleashed a powerful ki blast from the axe-kick he slammed into the chest of the Cerealian, who only survived thanks to the quick thinking of pouring ki to his chest to mitigate the damage.
The force of the attack was still enough to send him flying down, but Granolah forced himself to move and quickly spun around only to gasp as Turles was below him and landed another bone-shattering upper-cut to his chest.
"You are but a mere insect to my might!" Turles exclaimed as he ducked away from Granolah's knife strike before landing a vicious knee strike to his chest.
Raising his hands behind his neck as he watched Granolah flying up high into the sky, Turles grinned as he charged a sphere of white-purple energy in between his hands before pointing his hands at the Cerealian with a deranged grin.
"Calamity BLASTER!" He roared as he unleashed a monstrous blast of white and violet energy, the sky itself crying as the energy sliced through the air and neared Granolah.
"Kaio-ken!" However, with a powerful cry, Granolah was enveloped with a scarlet red aura as he moved to the side, holding his right index and middle finger to his forehead while charging an orange-violet energy to them as the blast impacted only his left arm and severely burned it.
"Special Beam Cannon!" With perfect accuracy, he aimed his fingers at Turles before unleashing a piercing blast of highly compressed ki that sliced through the air, through Turles' heart and deep into the ground below them within the blink of an eye.
The Saiyan in question didn't even notice until Granolah dispelled his blast and took a deep breath, looking down at his chest only to see the gaping hole where his heart was.
"W-What?" The Saiyan coughed up blood as he could feel his body growing more cold and numb over time, looking up one final time only for Granolah to fire a precise barrage of ki blasts that completely erased his body from existence.
"Hah…hah…hah…fuck you, Saiyan." Granolah muttered with a grin before turning to watch as a pillar of emerald-green energy shot up high into the sky, not surprised to feel the powerful pressure of Broly's energy washing over him as Meruem appeared besides him.
"Gone berserk?"
"A bit." Meruem answered before turning as a pillar of orange energy rose up alongside it.
"…Want me to heal you while we wait?"
"If you can."
Broly roared as he threw Slug to the ground, the large Namekian spinning around and cratering the ground as he landed with a crouch and a grunt before looking up to see Broly's fist hammering down onto his skull.
The Saiyan was surprised as his fist utterly erased the right side of Slug's face along with creating a mile-long canyon in the ground, but his eyes widened as Slug's head grew back within the blink of an eye right as the Namekian slammed a heavy kick into the Saiyan's chest.
Broly was surprised as the blow was far more powerful than the punch the Namekian first threw as he was sent flying back right before the Saiyan dug his feet into the ground and forced himself to come to a stop.
However, he frowned as he felt a bit more tired than usual and as he looked at Slug, he frowned as the Namekian smirked while throwing off the black cloak on his shoulders and the purple helmet on his head to the ground.
"It's been a while since I faced a Saiyan as powerful as you, boy." Slug began as with a flex of his ki, the air trembled and Broly frowned as he did the same.
Slug raised an eyebrow as he felt Broly's ki rising past his own and realized that the Saiyan before smirking as he charged forward.
"Tell me! How did little Vegeta take it when a Saiyan as powerful as you was born?!" Slug asked as he threw a punch at Broly, the Saiyan moving out of the way and firing back with his hook to the Namekian's side that he tanked with ease while grabbing the Saiyan's wrist.
Broly frowned as he felt his energy being drained before ripping his hand free along with tearing off the Namekian's arm, but Slug didn't even seem concerned as he regenerated it with ease before leaping at the Saiyan with a spinning kick.
Broly was quick to block the strike with a grunt as the shockwave from their clash shook the ground right before the Saiyan reached forward and grabbed the Namekian's leg, pulling him towards him along with landing a vicious punch that went through the Namekian's chest and out his left shoulder.
Not done with his onslaught, Broly roared as he slammed Slug over and over into the ground, staining the ground with his blood right before Broly threw him high up into the air.
Charging ki to his hand as he watched Slug regenerate, Broly roared as he threw a powerful orb of ki at Slug, who felt it impact his form right before the sky was dyed green by an emerald-green sun.
"Hah…hah…" Broly could feel a burning tiredness in his body as he looked up at where Slug was obscured in the energy sun, wary of his foe as he watched the Namekian finally exerting his full power to continuously heal his injuries while glaring directly down at the Saiyan.
'He drains my energy…and then uses it to boost his regeneration.' Broly thought with a frown as he caught his breath, watching as his energy blast died down to reveal Slug floating in the air and only having his dark purple pants and orange boots on.
"It appears you are stronger than any Saiyan than any Saiyan I have fought against." Slug spoke out loud as he glared down at Broly, having not used this much of his own energy to regenerate himself since he fought against his twin all those centuries ago.
Broly didn't answer as he took a deep breath, recalling Meruem's words during the lesson the leader taught him on how to face off against the most dangerous foes to his 'build'.
"If against someone that likes to drain energy, just overload them with energy to the point that they burst from it and if you're fighting against someone that can regenerate, just hit them with an attack powerful enough to erase their entire being in the blink of an eye."
'Enough energy to overload them and enough power to erase them in the blink of an eye.' Broly repeated that phrase over and over in his mind as he glared up at Slug, flowing his ki rapidly over and over through his body while pulling on the transformation that Meruem had taught him about.
The next moment, a guttural roar erupted from Broly's lips as he was obscured in a bright emerald-green pillar of energy, shattering the ground below him for miles and surprising Slug as he watched the Saiyan's power shoot far past his own.
'I-Impossible!' Slug thought in shock as Broly's energy continued to climb higher and higher, watching as the Saiyan's eyes glowed with a dark green glow while his canines had grown out significantly.
"Hehehe~ Hahahahaha~! Your energy will be delicious!" Slug exclaimed with a grin as his ki surged and exploded off of him, his energy barely able to clash with that of Broly's as the Saiyan frowned when he watched Slug growing until he was triple the size he once was.
In the blink of an eye, the Saiyan was in front of Slug with a fist pulled back before he punched forward at the Namekian's chest, who let out a wheeze as the punch shook his entire body as well as sending him rocketing down to the ground.
Broly could feel his anger overflowing, but pulled on the memories of meditation with Meruem as he rushed forward after the Namekian, Slug flipping around and coming to a stop right as Broly appeared in front of him with a leg pulled back.
The air cried as Broly's leg slammed into the energy barrier that Slug created in front of him, the same orange energy appearing around his body before he gritted his teeth as he felt the barrier siphoning energy from him and growing stronger.
Pushing off of it to get away, Slug moved the energy of the barrier to his hands before unleashing a flurry of ki blasts through the air, Broly grunting with each one that exploded against his body.
However, he was surprised as a pair of giant hands burst through the smoke moments later and pinned his arms to his body, Slug roaring as he rapidly drained Broly's energy while slamming him into the ground with a devastating hammer fist to the planet.
The pain from the attack however unleashed Broly's wrath and he roared as he tore the hands from his body, blasting up to Slug's surprised face before stomping both feet into the Namekian's nose.
Spinning around and ripping open Slug's mouth with both hands while the Namekian was still dazed from his stomp, Broly roared out a powerful ki blast that shot into the Namekian's throat and to his stomach.
'No! No!' Slug realized what the Saiyan was trying to do and tried to punch Broly away, but the Saiyan caught the Namekian's hands while keeping Slug's mouth open with his feet on the Namekian's lower jaw and his neck supporting the upper
"You wanted my energy?! Then have it!" With another shout, Broly unleashed a colossal beam of energy directly into Slug's mouth and kept it up, Slug's eyes widening as he felt the influx of energy rippling through his form.
Quickly redirecting it to his healing to stop his body from breaking down, Broly's power increased even further as he channelled all of his rage into his attack and made Slug tremble as the energy began to overload his body.
It wasn't until minutes later and feeling the last bit of Slug's energy fading away that Broly finally stopped his attack, gasping for air as he let the head of the Namekian fall to the gaping hole in the planet as the rest of his body had been erased by the blast.
"Supernova." He wasn't surprised to feel Meruem's and Granolah's energies appear besides him nor at the sight of the large sun flying down and erasing the Namekian's head from existence.
"Well done, Broly, and excellent work to you as well, Granolah. I couldn't be more proud of my best students."
"I thought Paragus was your best student?" Granolah asked with his wounds now healed and Meruem snorted as he nodded.
"In terms of tactical capabilities, he definitely is, but in terms of pure power, you two will always be number one."
"Pick…one…" Broly grunted out with each deep breath and Meruem rolled his eyes as he placed a hand on the Saiyan's back, restoring his stamina and smirking at the Saiyan's thankful nod before he shrugged.
"Why can't I have two favourites?"
"Because only one can be the favourite."
"Then I guess we'll never know." Meruem spoke with a smirk and that was the last thing spoken before the three vanished once more, reappearing in the meeting room right where everyone was still waiting.
As they saw the three fighters appearing from thin air, everyone was surprised to see both the stamina monsters known as Broly and Granolah looking a bit tired before being shocked even further as Meruem grinned and gave a thumbs-up.
"Good news! These two guys here just took out Slug and Turles!"
"…What?"
A/N: And this war arc is coming to an end as we only have one target left, that being their leader Cooler~!
However, what is this technological marvel Cooler is searching for and how powerful will it potentially make him?

Also, I was going to make Meruem fight the two commanders, but I've decided to let Broly and Granolah have their time to shine. Hope you guys like it.
