Chapter 4: Great Cave Offensive Part 2
*Villains of a Sort*
Back at the upper ground, Dedede has a phone while speaking with the NME Salesman and Escargoon has the map, searching for the Great Cave Offensive.
NME Salesman: So, Fatty Whale was defeated. Apparently, that new group is full of surprises, especially those kids with the Keyblade.
Dedede: And what about the new creatures?
NME Salesman: I researched them and they belong to different worlds. One group are called Pocket Monsters or Pokemon for short while the other group are called Digital Monsters or Digimon for short.
Escargoon: Sounds like bad news. First, Kirby, then those children with key-shaped swords and different creatures.
NME Salesman: Well, I'm setting up the Computer Virus with some Digimon.
Then just as he said, he shows different Digimon species. One is a gray head-like Digimon with wing-like ears and orange malicious eyes. Another one is a dinosaur made of colorful lego blocks. The last one is a wizard-like Digimon with yellow outfit, brown boots, blue cape, blue scarf covering the mouth, blue wizard hat, and holding a scepter with a sun on the top.
Dedede: So those are yer Digimon.
Escargoon: What are their names?
NME Salesman: The first one is Pagumon, an In-Training Level Digimon who is more than meets the eye. The second one is ToyAgumon, a Rookie Level Digimon who looks like a living toy and lives in places made of giant toys. And the last one is Wizardmon, a Champion Level Digimon who is a digital sorcerer and has real magic tricks.
Dedede: Well, hopefully, they will get the job done. Now if you'll excuse me, we must go to the cave.
*Stop Music*
After turning off the phone, Dedede and Escargoon kept walking.
Escargoon: At this rate, we could be lost.
Dedede: Just keep walking and looking at the map.
The two of them kept walking, but unknown to them, they aren't aware of the same sign and the same hole where the main group fell down.
Escargoon: Suddenly, I can't feel the ground.
Dedede: What do you mean by…?
Just before he could ask, Dedede and Escargoon stares down as they were on the hole. Then they hugged at each other before falling down and screaming until they crashed onto the ground.
Escargoon: Sire, where are we now?
Dedede: Possibly, it could be the Great Cave Offensive. Therefore, we must search for those treasures before Kirby and those brats do.
Then the two of them go through the cave.
*Minecart Area - Kirby Super Star*
Meanwhile, back with the main group, they are on a mining cart.
Tiff: So where is the gold and the jewels?
Caleb: I have an inventory spell which allows me to store different things in said inventory where the gold and jewels are there. Later, after returning to the surface, I'll put the gold, jewels, and otherworldly treasures into a special room.
Caeli: Where do you live?
Tiff: We live in a castle since our parents are the King's Court Officials.
Floramon: And who is the King?
Tuff: A fat loser named King Dedede! Fat as a ton of bricks!
Rei: I could bet he is a bad King.
Tiff: Most of the time, Dedede makes all these dumb laws and ruins our fun. He hates Kirby and he used to work for a company called Nightmare Enterprises. But Kirby always foils his plans. Right, Kirby?
Kirby: Poyo!
Kibou:(Shivering)What is Nightmare Enterprises?
Tiff: It is a company which has alot of monsters. Many of them were sent to Dreamland, but all of them were defeated by Kirby.
Kirby: Poyo.
Mario: I think the tracks are about to end.
Just as Mario said, the group saw the tracks are close to an end before getting off from the mining cart and entering the next area.
*Crystal Field Area - Kirby Super Star*
The next area is revealed to have alot of crystals around the place. The Crystal Area of the Great Cave Offensive.
Caeli & Kibou: Whoa!
Luxmon: There are alot of crystals around here.
Caeli: Maybe we could find something special here.
The group explores the cave before entering in the water where they swim, even facing red round fish wearing large blue-rimmed pair of goggles, along with orange toad-like enemies, and yellow anemones with red tentacles. They are known as Blippers, Slippies, and Glunks respectively. The Keyblade Wielders performed Underwater Spins where they rolled with their Keyblades extended, Shiny Popplio uses Bubblebeam, Shiny Sobble uses Water Pulse, and Kirby along with Caeli and Kibou spits water from their mouths to hit the enemies. The group swam deeper until they find a treasure chest which inside of it contains a golden puzzle piece.(Jigsaw Puzzle from Banjo-Kazooie.)Then they noticed destructible blocks which were destroyed by the same Underwater Spins until they find the next treasure chest which contains a Glass Slipper.(From Cinderella.)After Caleb stores the gold and jewels to the inventory, they swam to the door and ended up in an area without water as they gasped for air after coming out.
Sara: Now that we're outta the water, let's see the treasures.
Just as Sara said, the group saw the golden puzzle piece and the Glass Slipper before Caleb took photos of both treasures.
Kibou: It seems like a golden puzzle piece.
Aria: And also a Glass Slipper.
Then after storing the treasures, the group continues below their path until they found three doors.
Caleb: The path splits into three.
Sara: Me along with Pulsemon, Celebi, Mario, Kirby, Tiff, and Tuff will go in the central door.
Tiff: OK.
Kirby: Poyo.
Caleb: Me with Caeli, Luke, Abby, our Pokemon, and Digimon will go to the left door.
Aria: Meaning that me, Kibou, Rei, Ila, our Pokemon, and Digimon will go to the right door.
Sara: And we'll gather in the room before facing another bigger enemy like that giant whale that we faced before.
The group nods before going into separate groups. With Sara's group, they were underwater before swimming up while performing Underwater Spins against the Squishies and as they came up to the surface, they found a mechanical body with one blue eye, red sneakers, white gloves, blue cap, and a yo-yo.
Tiff: It's a Gim! You know what to do Kirby!
Kirby: Poyo!
Kirby then inhales Gim before transforming with a backwards blue baseball cap, a bandage on his right cheek, and wielding a yo-yo.
Tuff: It's Yo-Yo Kirby.
As the group advances, they found several Rapid Thrusters and a single Sir Kibble, but Yo-Yo Kirby uses Yo-Yo Throw to defeat the enemies. They entered underwater again where Mario performs an Underwater Spin and even casts Firaga underwater to defeat the Squishies. The red plumber and Caleb's twin sister swam backwards where they found a treasure which has a blue can with a black E letter.(Energy Tank from Megaman.)
Sara: Very interesting is this can.
Sara pulls out her tablet before taking the photo of the E-scripted can before storing it along with the gold and jewels and returning to the water. The group continues swimming until they came to the surface, fought more enemies, and arrived at a corridor with moving platforms. But at the same time, there were spikes on the ceiling and above them.
Mario: We must be careful with the spikes.
They nodded before going through the moving platforms until they found destructible blocks which were destroyed by the yo-yo and Firaga Spells as they found a treasure chest which has a white and purple diagonal-striped colorful brush.(Power Paintbrush from Kirby: Canvas Curse.)
Tiff: It's the Power Paintbrush!
Kirby: Poyo!
Pulsemon: Do you know the item?
Tiff: Yeah. It was used to help Kirby defeat Drawcia and end the Canvas Curse.
Tuff: I wonder why the Power Paintbrush is here?
Sara: Maybe there could be other surprises ahead.
Then the group continues through the moving platforms until they reached the water where they felt a current pushing them and having to avoid Gordos underwater and found a treasure chest which contains a long-bladed sword with a small and thin handle, looking like a giant knife.(Zangetsu from the Bleach anime.)They moved to the next door as they came back to the room of separation as Sara watched the sword before taking a photo.
Sara: Later, we need to know more about this sword.
Now with Caleb's group, they are in another part of the cave where they found a living pineapple who has a green hat known as Jungle Bomb, but Caleb casts Blizzaga to defeat the enemy before they jumped to another platform where Caleb pushed a switch and a waterfall appeared. They swam until Caleb found a treasure chest which contains a silver whip with a cross being the handle.(Vampire Killer from Castlevania.)
Caleb: The Vampire Killer! The weapon which belongs to the Belmont Clan through generations.
He took the photo of the Vampire Killer and he along with the rest continues swimming until they go below the waterfall where Caeli found a switch which she pressed it and a treasure chest appeared, falling down until Shiny Popplio inflates a bubble to catch the treasure, pulling it away from the void, and opening the chest which reveals a golden Indian-themed lamp.(Magic Lamp from Aladdin.)Caeli nods to Caleb who stores the lamp in the inventory and continues swimming and defeating Squishies until the group found a wall blocking their path, but Caleb casts Thundaga which hits the switch and opens the wall, giving the team the chance to advance. They found another treasure chest which was opened, containing a long pink wand with a magenta beak and two white wings.(Sealing Wand from Cardcaptor Sakura.)
Caleb: Better see the two treasures.
Caleb pulls out the Magic Lamp before taking the photo to both new treasures.
Veemon: What is it, Caleb?
Caleb: A Magic Lamp and a pink wand.
Then he stores both treasures in the inventory before he and the others continued, pushing a switch underwater and another waterfall appears where they swam upwards until they find a treasure chest which contains a glowing rose inside a glass(The Enchanted Rose from Beauty and the Beast.)as Caleb took the photo.
Caleb: Now an Enchanted Rose.
After storing the glowing rose, the group continues swimming until they found a Bomb Block to destroy and arrived at a room where they found two treasure chests. One containing a spherical device with purple on the upper-half with two dark purple twin circles and a white M(Master Ball from Pokemon.)and the other containing a light bluish-whitish device.(Digivice from Digimon Adventure.)Caleb took photos to both new treasures.
Caeli: It seems like our Pokeballs.
Caleb: Also, I found a Digivice here. Now I wonder if there could be a Digimon around here.
After storing the treasures along with the gold and jewels, the group left the room before going up until in a particular room, they found a bigger version of the Poppy Bros. Jr. known as Poppy Bros. Sr., who was hopping in the same place before tossing a bomb, but Caeli swallows the bomb and she transforms with a navy blue party hat akin to a party popper with yellow, green, and pink explosion motifs on it, a red ribbon on the top, a large white trimming, and a blue diamond-shaped gem with a large yellow rim on the front.
Caleb: That one should be Bomb Caeli.
Bomb Caeli tossed the bombs like bowling balls until she defeats the Poppy Bros. Sr. who was sent crashing in the ground before exploding as a treasure chest appears and was opened by Bomb Caeli, revealing two dark thorny horns and a yellow platform with two green spikes.(Hydra Parts from Kirby: Air Ride.)Caleb took a photo.
Caleb: OK, this is new. Tiff should know about this treasure and we should be back with them.
Caeli: OK.
The group continues forward, destroys a Bomb Block, revealing the beginning of the room with the waterfalls, and came back with Sara's group.
Caleb: Hey, guys! We're back and also, check this out.
Caleb reveals the green parts.
Tiff: It's the parts of the Hydra.
Caeli: Hydra?
Tuff: It's a Legendary Machine.
Kirby: Poyo.
Caleb: I see. Now let's go reunite with Aria and the others.
The group nods before going to the last door. Meanwhile, with Aria's group, they are in a place with orangish crystals where they moved across the place until they found destructible blocks which were destroyed by Aria who uses Strike Raid and found a treasure chest which contains a red helmet which has a yellow falcon as symbol.(Falcon Helmet from F-Zero.)Aria pulls out her tablet to take a photo to the tablet.
Kibou: A helmet with a yellow falcon as a symbol.
Aria: Mario possibly could know about it.
After storing the helmet, they've decided to continue, defeating Tacs and creatures that resemble gray tires with two large shiny eyes, red eyelids with a top-half covered with a red plate acting as a seat, and a pair of handlebars and exhaust pipes, making them resemble motorcycles. They are known as Wheelies, but Kibou quickly swallows one of them and then transforms with a backwards red baseball cap, featuring white stripes, and a winged star at the front of the cap. Kibou briefly transforms himself into a light blue wheel as he hits and defeats the Shadow Heartless.
Kibou: What was that?
Aria: Your form is now Wheel Kibou.
Kibou: That sounds cool!
Aria giggles at Kibou's excitement as they continued until they were in a room with several spikes where Alcremie uses Psychic to lift the treasure chest and bring it on a safe spot. The chest was opened and reveals a technological reddish sword which has a circle-closed handle(Monado from Xenoblade Chronicles 1.)and Aria took the photo.
Aria: It's the Monado. Curious to find one here.
After storing it, the group continues across the place, going above crystal platforms, going down through stairs, defeating Tacs, and in a lower area, Aria destroys a Bomb Block by performing Hurricane Blast and found another treasure chest which contains a pink Cellphone(From Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.) while taking the photo with her tablet.
Ila: Now a Cellphone, but with a more advanced design.
Rei: There could be another special treasure around here.
After storing the Cellphone, the group continues moving until in a particular tunnel, there was wind blowing backwards and against the group. Then Wheel Kibou transforms into his Wheel Form before rolling, avoiding the spikes and Gordos until he reaches the treasure chest which was revealed to have a shiny red apple(Poisoned Apple from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.)and then jumps across the platforms until he arrives to see Aria and the others.
Aria: What did you find, Kibou?
Kibou: This.
Wheel Kibou shows the apple and Aria grabs it.
Aria: A Poisoned Apple. It's better not to eat it.
Wheel Kibou couldn't help but pout before his eyes gleamed like a puppy begging for food.
Aria: Don't worry, Kibou. I still have cookies prepared by my mom. Luckily, they were conserved for years.
She hands a small bag of cookies to Kibou as he opens the bag and ate the cookies.
Rei: By any chance, do you have more?
Aria: Sorry, but no. Luckily, my mom handed me alot of recipes and I will make more cookies eventually.
Suddenly, the two remaining groups arrived.
Herissmon: You made it.
S. Sobble: Sobble.
Mario: So what about the treasures you found?
Aria: Well, let's show them.
Then between the treasures, Mario recognizes the Vampire Killer along with the Master Ball, Falcon Helmet, and Monado, while Tiff recognizes the Cellphone, and Yo-Yo Kirby tried to eat the apple until Aria stops him.
Aria: Kirby, no! It's a Poisoned Apple! If you eat it, you will end up asleep!
Kirby:(Sadly)Poyo…
Tiff: Don't worry, Kirby. Later, we'll eat apples after returning to the surface.
Kirby:(Happily)Poyo!
Tuff: It's the same Cellphone that Kirby uses to call his other siblings.
Aria: We didn't know that Kirby had siblings.
Tiff: They are like Kirby, but from different colors.
Mario: Also, you found the Vampire Killer which Simon Belmont had too, along with the Falcon Helmet which belongs-a to Captain Falcon, the Monado which belongs-a to Shulk, and the Master Ball which calls-a Legendary Pokemon like Mew and Celebi.
Tuff: Let me guess, you met them in the Smash Bros. Tournament too.
Mario: Yes.
Caleb: Master Ball, huh? That's what it's called.
Kirby: Falcon Punch.
Aria, Abby, Ila, and Bomb Caeli couldn't help but giggle at Kirby's cute voice.
Mario: That's-a Captain Falcon's signature move.
Luke: Well, changing the subject, the next door is ahead.
The group nods before entering the door where they found a boxing glove, a bunch of bird feathers, and a jetpack.
Tiff: Well, we have Yo-Yo Kirby, Bomb Caeli, and Wheel Kibou. We already saw the previous abilities.
Caeli: I wanna use bombs against the next big enemy.
Kibou: I wanna keep using the Wheel Ability.
Mario: Then let's-a go!
The group went into an extensive room.
*Computer Virus Battle - Kirby Super Star*
Suddenly, three different computer windows appeared in front of them.
Tuff: OK, this is getting weird.
In the medium window, it reveals the Pagumon appearing while in the small window reveals life which is HP: 64 and the long window reveals the message.
Computer Virus: Pagumon appears!
Luxmon: A Pagumon!
Computer Virus: Kirby and friends attack!
Pagumon lands on the ground. Yo-Yo Kirby uses Break Spin which he does a breakdancing spin on his yo-yo, Bomb Caeli tossed bombs like bowling balls, while Wheel Kibou became a wheel to hit Pagumon until it returns to the screen.
Computer Virus: Pagumon takes 40 damage! Pagumon uses Poison Bubbles!
Just as it said, Pagumon fires purple bubbles, but Kirby along with the two minor siblings dodged.
Computer Virus: Kirby and friends avoided the attack! Kirby and friends attack!
Pagumon lands on the ground and Yo-Yo Kirby uses Gazer Spiral which he spins around into the air while hitting and defeating Pagumon who dissipates into digital particles.
Computer Virus: You beat Pagumon! ToyAgumon appears!
Just as it said, ToyAgumon appears in the medium window while having 80 HP.
Dracomon: Now there's a ToyAgumon!
Computer Virus: Kirby and friends attack!
Just as it said, ToyAgumon lands on the ground. Bomb Caeli threw bombs, Wheel Kibou transforms into a wheel before using Rocket Start which he charges up and dashes forward at a highspeed for a short time, while Yo-Yo Kirby uses Gazer Spiral. Then ToyAgumon returns to the window, having 30 HP remaining.
Computer Virus: ToyAgumon takes 50 damage! ToyAgumon uses Toy Flame!
Just as it said, ToyAgumon fires a red lego-brick, but the three dodges the attack.
Computer Virus: Kirby and friends dodged the attack! Kirby and friends attack!
ToyAgumon lands on the ground again. Wheel Kibou uses Rocket Start and Bomb Caeli tossed bombs until they've defeated ToyAgumon who dissipates into digital particles.
Computer Virus: You beat ToyAgumon!
Then Wizardmon appears in the medium screen while having 100 HP.
Computer Virus: Wizardmon appears!
Lunamon: Now a Wizardmon!
Computer Virus: Kirby and friends attack!
Bomb Caeli tossed bombs like bowling balls, Yo-Yo Kirby tossed his yo-yo repeatedly, while Wheel Kibou in his Wheel Form uses Turn Jump repeatedly as he jumps multiple times while hitting Wizardmon until it returns to the window with 65 HP remaining.
Computer Virus: Wizardmon takes 35 damage! Wizardmon uses Blink Breeze!
Just as it said, Wizardmon fires a blast of wind from it's staff, but the three dodges the attack.
Computer Virus: Kirby and friends avoided the attack! Kirby and friends attack!
Before Wizardmon could land, Bomb Caeli manages to put many bombs on the ground while damaging Wizardmon, then Yo-Yo Kirby uses Spiral Gazer, while Wheel Kibou uses Rocket Start, now with Wizardmon having 15 HP before returning to the window.
Computer Virus: Wizardmon takes 50 damage! Wizardmon uses Electro Squall!
Just as it said, Wizardmon summons a thundercloud which fires lightning strikes, but the three dodges again.
Computer Virus: Kirby and friends avoided the attack! Kirby and friends attack!
Wizardmon lands on the ground. Bomb Caeli tossed a bomb while Yo-Yo Kirby attacks with his yo-yo and defeats Wizardmon who dissipates into digital particles.
Computer Virus: You beat Wizardmon! Kirby, Caeli, and Kibou defeated all the enemies! You gained 456 EXP! Your Puffiness went up by 15! Your Eye Sparkle went up by 15! Your Maturity went up by 9! Your Kindness went up by 12! Your Softness went up by 9!
The HP window disappears, followed by the enemy window disappearing.
Computer Virus: Your Love went up by 12!
The message window disappears at last.
*Stop Music*
Everyone was silent with just the sound of the crickets chirping. Everyone was in awkward silence until Luke broke the silence.
Luke: OK…That was the weirdest boss battle I have ever seen before.
Dracomon: Yeah, even congratulated Kirby along with Caeli and Kibou.
S. Absol: Absol.
Caeli: OK, it's time to move on!
Just as Caeli said, the group nods before going to the next zone of the Great Cave Offensive, but unaware that Dedede and Escargoon arrived here too. Luckily, they are very faraway from the heroes.
