August 17, 1998

Today was a day of note.

I had my orientation for Fall Semester 1998 at the University. I took a tour around the campus something, something I had done on occasion these past few weeks after Wade and Rembrandt returned to this world.

I had meeting with the dean and the other professors, from the general teaching plan for the semester, to such mundane things as reserving classrooms and laboratories.

They of course congratulated me for helping three lost people get home, and for expanding the boundaries of humanity's knowledge. Some of what we learned will be taught to physics students. I was also aware of other discoveries being kept secret by the U.S. government.

Meanwhile, Yerba Buena continued their exploration of sliding explorers to different parts of different versions of Earth and bringing them back.
