Invasion of Vreen
At nighttime in Shuggazoom city, a four meteorite falls from the sky and crash landed in the outskirts of the city. The Hyper Force went there to investigate the crash site.
"They fell over there, team." Chiro said as they all wear a mask. "Follow me."
The Hyper Force then floats down in the crater and carefully, observing the meteorite.
"Careful, radiation level are disturbingly high." Gibson cautioned. "We don't know where these meteors came from."
"There something moving down there." Nova said, pointing down.
They look where Nova is pointing at as something is oozing from meteor until a green larvae-like creature leaps out and tackle Gibson, who yelped.
"Get off of him!" Chiro threw his lightning Spear at the creature, destroying it.
"I despise insects!" He disgusted.
As he turned, four more green insect larvae, making Gibson yelped as one of them jumps on Chiro
Nova punched the green insect larvae while Tyran smashed the other one with his Mace hand.
"Spin Shocker!" Gibson zapped the green larvae with his drill, destroying it.
Chiro was struggling to get the green larvae off of him before he punched it away, breaking it.
"What were those things?" He asked, noticed the circuitry and mechanical parts in the insect.
"Obviously, some sort of mechanical insect larvae." Gibson said, looking at the meteor. "Hatched from those meteor-like eggs. Oh, disgusting!"
"Huh, I forgot you hate bugs, Gibson." Nova said.
"Yeah, especially that big mantis we fought on another planet." Tyran mentioned.
"They're a wretchedly unevolved species." He said, folding his arms. "And they freaking me out."
"Let's get back on patrol, team." Chiro said, "The night's not over yet."
They then took off as Gibson stayed back a bit.
"Come on, Gibson!" Otto said before Gibson catches up to them.
As they left, the half of green mechanical larvae regenerates its head and slither up on the crater. It then looked around and split itself in half and regenerates their bodies.

During the thunderstorm in Super Robot, the Hyper Force gathers in the bridge as they saw the footage the meteorites' origin.
"So Gibson, you figure out where those meteors came from yet?" Sparx asked.
"I'm stupefied." He answered, "Apparently, the meteors didn't come from space at all."
"So where are they from?" Nova inquired.
"I don't know. They simply appeared in our atmosphere."
The video feeds shows the meteors appeared from Shuggazoom's atmosphere.
"Interesting. We should investigate this mystery further." Antauri suggested.
"No need, Antauri." Chiro said, "We put the beatdown on those creepizoid bugs."
"After all, they were only simple-minded arthropods." Gibson said. What threat could such an inferior species posed?"
Back at the crater, the mechanical larvae keeps self-replicating as more of them is swarming in the crash site.
Back at the bridge, the alarm went off as the Hyper Force went down from their chutes.
"Gibson, what's happening?" Antauri asked.
"Apparently, we missed one of the meteors." Gibson reported while looking at the scans. "A fifth one fell within the perimeters of the city!"
"Nice going, mega brain!" Sparx said, sarcastically. "I guess there's more bugs than you thought."
"Our scanners must have simply missed one!" He argued. "It's not my fault!"
"All right, all right!" Chiro said, breaking up their arguments. "Me and Otto will go check it out. You guys keep a lookout for more meteors."
After that, Chiro and Otto drove their motor cycle across the city to investigate the fifth meteor that Gibson detected and arrived in the crash site.
"The reading said the meteor landed somewhere around here." Chiro said, looking around.
They then left the bike to look around for any suspicious.
"I don't see it." Otto said, "Maybe it bounced."
"Meteor don't bounce, Otto." Chiro said, "Come on. Let's take a look from up here."
They ran up to the edge of crater to find the meteorites.
"There it is." Otto said, spotted the fifth meteorite before they ducked down.
They looked down as one robotic larva crawls out and multiply itself by splitting their body.
"Wow, I've never seen self-replicating robotic insect from before." Otto said, impressed. "Pretty neat."
"Don't worry, there's only two of them." Chiro said.
However, the two larvae flips back and their undercarriages opens, revealing their body limbs and armed with sting laser that attached to their left arm.
"Now we worry!" He said, shocked and surprised.
The two robotic insects spotted them and aimed their sting lasers at them.
"Move!"
They moved out of the way before the blast hits them. Chiro came and flying kick the them, but the robotic insect shot him, shocking and stunning him.
"Chiro!" Otto cried.
Angered, Otto whipped out his saw blades and leaped up. The robotic insect launched its stinger missile, knocking him out of the air.
"Monkey team, come in! Come in, team!" Chiro said, trying to contact his team while hiding behind the rig.
The insect robot used its antennae, frying his commlink before they found him. Chiro tried getting away, but they zapped him, stunning Chiro.
Before they finish him, Otto came flying with the saw blades and stabbed in its back.
"Back off from him, you bugs!" He yelled, cutting through it, destroying it in process.
"Over here!" Chiro yelled, getting its attention as he stands on the supporting beams before jumping off. "Thunder Punch!"
He punched the robot insect's side, destroying it.
Otto sighed. "It's a good thing there were only two of those things."
But Otto was wrong when they look up to see more of those robotic insects that can fly.
"Two or two million?" Chiro exclaimed while sweat dropped.
The swarm of flying robotic insects is swarming all over the Shuggazoom city as everyone panicked and ran for their lives, much to their horror. They then started grabbing people that they can find.
"What are we going to do? There's too many to fight!" Chiro said, unable to stop all of them.
They ran away when one of them spotted and chased after them, but was shot down by Super Robot's Eye Beam as it keeps destroying some of them down.
"The team!" Chiro said, glad to see them.
"Uh, Chiro?!" Otto gulped, making him look back to see more of them is heading right for them.
"Hold on, Otto!" He said as they hopped on the bike before revving away back to the Robot.
Chiro revved faster while dodging the laser blasts as the door opens for them.
"Look out!" Nova shouted as one of the robotic insects was close behind them.
Once they're inside the Robot, Nova push down the lever and closed the door but the robotic insect was halfway while Nova pushed down the lever harder.
Tyran then came and mashed its back with his Mace hand, making it screeching in pain before stabbing its back with his Axe hand and tears it from its lower body until it dies before Nova close the door completely.
"Activating defense grid!" Nova said as the Robot creates a force field around it.
Meanwhile, the Hyper Force was gathered at the med lab.
"Shield will only last for a few hours! We need a plan." Chiro said as he and Antauri looks at the monitor of swarming robotic insects.
"I don't think we had any more bugs to worry about." Sparx frowned at Gibson. "Right, Gibson?"
He cleared his throat. "Yes. Well, we'll find a solution to our pest problem right here."
Otto and Nova then brings the corpse of the cybernetic insect to the lab table.
"Hmm.. organic material?" Gibson muttered while examine it as the intestine is oozing with its fluid, making him gagged a bit. "Quite nauseating!"
"Let's begin." Antauri said before Otto sliced open its head, revealing a brain.
Antauri then touched the brain to locate the region of the brain and Otto plugs the cable in its brain.
"Antauri?" He gave him the cable and Antauri opens his helmet and plugs the cable in its cerebral region.
Once he does, Antauri grunted as his optics is off.
"What are they doing?" Chiro asked.
"Antauri is going to probe the insect's mind for answer." Gibson answered as the corpse screeched as Antauri is trying to probe its mind and channeled its memory to the computer screen.
"Eighty million years in the future, only insects remain." He explained while showing the family tree of insect species. "The most advanced race, the Vreen, dominate by building robot bodies to inhabit it." The insectoid species was shown and built their green robotic machine. "They removed their brain and placed them into cybernetic death machine. This enabled them to conquer space." The Vreen takes their brain out and placed them in their robotic body and they swarm all over the galaxy. "Devouring all life throughout the cosmos." The Vreen devours the city and all life until everything is in ruins. "But after eons of destruction, Vreen finally ran out of food and so they were forced to send their offspring back in time…" it shows the Vreen puts their larvae in the capsule and sent them back in the past. "To feed off the organisms of the past."
The Hyper Force was stunned in disbelief that the Vreen came from the future to devour them.
"The Vreen?" Tyran said.
"You're telling me they've come from the future to eat us?" Nova questioned.
"And they won't stop until they wiped out every living thing." Chiro grimaced.
"If those Vreens came from the future, then it's possible one of those things might exist her in the present." Tyran said as Gibson walks to the computer.
"Quite right, Tyran but that will never happen." He said, typing to compare the data of Vreen and the insects. "If what you said is true and this data is correct, I'm going to make sure the Vreen have no future."
After that, they pilot the Super Robot around the Shuggazoom city to find something that links to the Vreen.
"Bugs… they got everybody." Nova said, noticing they haven't seen anybody around here.
"So what's your plan already, Gibson?" Sparx asked.
"I'll explain once we enter the sewer line." Gibson said.
"Uh... sewer line?"
The Robot stopped and punched the road down to the sewer line before opening the door for the Hyper Force as they jumped on the sewer water, much to their displeasure from the smell while Tyran, Gibson, and Antauri keeps their face straight.
They then ventured through the sewer while searching.
"You got to be pulling my cybernetic parts!" Sparx groaned while covering his nose. "What are we doing here?"
"We're searching for this insect." Gibson showed him the insect of Vreen in his scanner. "The Vreen's ancestor. It's a mutant strain. Only one exist."
"Yeah. So?" Nova said, doubted.
"Don't you see? This lone insect will one day evolve into the entire race of Vreen!"
"So if we keep the bug from replicating…" Chiro said.
"The Vreen will no longer exists." Antauri finished.
They then stopped at the metal agate as Gibson's scanner is beeping loudly as if the insect Vreen is closer before entering, carefully.
"Scanners place the insect within this chamber. Keep your eyes open." Gibson cautioned.
"Let's make this quick before I throw up." Sparx said, not wanting to be in the sewer.
They walked in the room while looking for particular insect as Gibson's scanner detects it.
"Closer… Closer…" He said while approaching their target. "Closer still…"
While they're getting closer, they noticed that the Vreen robot was hiding up in the ceiling. Once they're closer, they stopped and found the insect.
"There it is!" Gibson pointed at the Vreen insect on the wall.
"Steady…" Chiro mutter as they approached the insect without scaring it away. "Steady…don't scare it."
"Now! Jump it!"
Before they grab it, the Vreen ambushed them, making them yelped in terror before the Vreen captures their ancestor in the orb to secure the future.
"Let's take it down!" Nova said, raising her fist.
"Wait, Nova!" Antauri stopped her and look up as she follows to see more Vreens are up on the ceiling.
"Look!"
The Vreen then started attacking them with lasers and the Hyper Force dodged them.
Chiro blast his Monkey Fu at the Vreen but it deflected it.
"The Vreen are adapting to out attacks!" Gibson said.
The Vreen then fires at them, making Gibson and Antauri move away from its attack.
The swarm of Vreen is closing in to attack as Antauri went Ghost Mode, destroying one of them. Otto jumped with his saw blades but was hit from behind by a Vreen. The other Vreen swatted Gibson away as Tyran tries to attacking them with Laser Optics but they deflected and blast him away.
"Chiro, there's too many of them!" Antauri told him.
"Retreat!" Chiro issued them to fall back. "Everyone, retreat!"
Tyran and the monkey then fall back to the Robot.
"Go on! Run!" Sparx said, staying back a bit. "I'll hold them off!"
He then zapped the Vreens until one of them grabbed him.
"Sparx!" Nova cried as she went back after him but was captured as well.
"We gotta help them!" Chiro said, went to get Sparx and Nova but Antauri stopped them.
"No, Chiro!" He warned. "There's too many! They'll capture us all!"
Antauri then drags him away and the Vreens was swarming through the doorway as they couldn't fit through.
"Everyone, return to the Super Robot!" Antauri ordered.
Sparx and Nova was taken away as the rest of the swarm follows through the drain vent and the few of Vreen was still stuck as Chiro was frustrated that he couldn't save them and wanted to fight them.
"This fight is futile, Chiro!" Antauri warned, "We need the Super Robot!"
The Vreen shoots Eye Lasers at them.
"Look out!" Tyran yelled as they dodged the blast.
They then hurried back to the Super Robot to plan their next attempt to destroy the Vreen.
The Robot was protected with Defense Grid as The Vreen tried to penetrate its defense, but gets destroyed.
"Argh! It's not possible!" Gibson groaned in frustration. "How could this be? The Vreen have been one step ahead of me the whole time!"
"It's all right, Gibson." Otto said. "The bugs are just smarter than you. Relax."
"They are not smarter than me!" He exclaimed. "They are insects! Insects, I tell you!"
"Gibson, I'm clearing the static interference." Antauri said, showing them the supersize beehive that is in the outskirts of Shuggazoom.
"It's some kind of humongous hive." Otto said.
"But why built it way out there for?" Tyran wondered.
"Antauri, zoom in." Chiro said.
Antauri zoomed the camera feeds to see the citizens of Shuggazoom was taken there, including Sparx and Nova.
"It's Sparx and Nova! They're alive!"
"For now." He said. "It appears they're being stored for food."
"Don't worry, team. I have a plan to stop the Vreen once and for all!" Gibson said, formularing the plan on the control pads.
"Another plan?" Otto said.
"Yes! At last, we'll see who the brighter lifeform is; Insect or Simeon?"
"My guess is insects." He said.
At the Vreen's hive, all the citizens of Shuggazoom was held there as a food for them while the Vreens guards their ancestor which is located on top of the hive.
"My hands are all gunked up!" Sprax struggled. "I.. can't.. transform them!"
"The harder I struggle, the gooier I get!" Nova grunted.
"You know, at least we get to be stuck together, Nova." He remarked. "We might be here.. for a very long, long, time."
"Help! Help! Get me out of here! I can't take it anymore!" She cried, not wanting to be stuck with him forever.
It was then the Super Robot came flying in and landed in front of the hive.
"We're getting a visual on the ancestor bug." Chiro said.
"I see it, on top of their hive." Tyran said.
"Keep it on target, you two." Antauri cautioned as the hive is beginning to rumble.
"The hive is beginning to open!" Gibson said as the hive opens, revealing to be a giant robot with bug eyes.
"What is that thing?" Chiro asked while shocked.
"Let's ask it after we squash it!" Otto said.
The giant robot approaches it and opened its abdomen as the swarm of Vreen is entering the robot, making it function as it sprouted its limbs.
"Take to the air, team!" Chiro ordered.
They launched the Super Robot in the air as the Vreen's Mecha transformed to flight mode.
"That thing can fly, too!" Tyran said before the Vreen's Mecha armed its rocket.
"It's preparing to attack!" Antauri said before they launched their rockets at the Robot, hitting them.
They all yelled as the Robot falls to the ground.
"Otto! Tyran! Get us in the air!" Chiro shouted.
"We're trying!" Otto said.
As they're falling, they managed to get the Robot in the air on time before it hits the ground.
"That was too close." Chiro sighed.
The Vreen's Mecha then transformed to robot mode as the Super Robot flew up to them.
"Ready in Torso Cannons, fire!"
The Robot fires its Torso Cannon at it, but it didn't have effect against it.
"Exoskeleton is too powerful!" Otto said, "Wow, those bugs are better engineers than me!"
"It's on the offense again!" Antauri cautioned as the Vreen launches their own Torso Cannon attack.
The Robot activated its energy shield to block it.
"Firing Cluster Bombs, now!" Chiro said.
"Firing away!" Tyran said, activated the Shoulder Cannons and fires at the Vreen's Mecha, making it back a bit.
"The beetle is stunned!" Gibson shouted. "Now team! Get into position!"
They landed the Super Robot on the ground and charged straight towards the hive, but the Vreens noticed them and fires their Eye Lasers at them.
"Here it comes!" Chiro smirked, "Antauri, ready the launch!"
The Robot got up and activated the Photon Cannon as Antauri is inside in Ghost Mode.
"I'm in position." He said.
The Vreen's Mecha then approached them.
"Fire!"
They fired it as Antauri phase through it and landed on the hive before going after the Vreen insect as the Vreen's Mecha is coming to them.
"Quick, firing Flame Strike, now!"
They used the Robot's Flamethrower to overheat the Vreen's Mecha system.
"Activating Lazertron Fury!" Gibson said.
They fired the Lazertron Fury at the mecha, destroying it.
"Woohoo!" Otto hollered before sighing.
"It's not over yet, Otto!" Gibson said.
"He's right! The Vreens is catching on our plan!" Tyran said. "And they're going after Antauri!"
They see the swarm of Vreen survived and heading back to the hive as they know what they're planning and Chiro and Hyper Force left the Robot to help Antauri, who was galloping up to the top of the hive until he reached it and about to grab it.
"Antauri, look out!" Nova shouted.
As Antauri is about to crush it, the Vreen zaps him, making him fall to the ground with the Vreen insect.
"Get that bug!" Chiro yelled as they and Vreens are gunning after the insect and crashed into it.
"I got it!" Otto said, got the Vreen insect in his hand, but got zapped from behind.
"Otto!" Chiro cried.
"Here!" Gibson shouted before catching the Vreen insect and about to dispose of it, but the Vreen blast him, injuring his hand.
"No!" Chiro cried before getting the Vreen insect away from it.
Before he destroys it, the Vreen caught him and dropped the insect.
"Squash that bug! Quick!" He said before the Vreen then devoured Chiro.
"Chiro!" Tyran cried.
Angered that his friend is eaten, Tyran whipped out his Axe and Mace and started attacking the Vreens by cutting them down while shooting his lasers at them, but he was shot by all the lasers, seemingly destroyed.
"Tyran!" Otto cried.
He then reached to grab the bug, but the orb cracked and the insect escaped before Otto was grabbed by Vreen.
"Gibson! You got to squash it!" He told him, "Hurry!"
Otto was then devoured by Vreen as Gibson was still injured from the blast.
"There's only one thing left… to do." He muttered.
The Vreen insect hooted, alerted the other Vreens and they rush towards to protect their ancestor. Before the Vreen insect fly away, Gibson managed to catch it with his tongue and eats it.
Before the swarm of Vreen is getting closer, Gibson chews the bug and swallows it in his stomach, causing the Vreens to stop and disappeared as the mist is spreading around them.
"What? What's happening?" Sparx demanded, confusedly.
Gibson was surprisedly uninjured and looked to see the Vreens is fading away.
"The Vreen. They're ceasing to exist!" He said as Antauri wakes up.
"The insects and their destruction are vanishing!" He said as the hive is disappearing and everyone is unharmed.
"And their only ancestor is no more."
"You did it, Gibson!" Chiro said, who was alive and Otto as well.
"I didn't think that you'd be monkey to eat the bug, Gibson." Tyran remarked as he was alive as well.
Gibson was then tackled by Nova.
"You outsmarted those bugs!" She complemented him.
"Actually, I simply out ate them." He smiled.
With the Vreens ceased to exist, the Hyper Force return to the city as did the citizens.
"Well, I guess things are finally back to normal." Chiro said, "Skies are clear, the sectors are quiet, and the world was safe once more."
Sparx chucked. "Sure, kid. You said that exact same last night, remember?"
"Uh oh! I just picked up an image on our long-range scanner!" Otto said, showing them the footage of the meteorites, crashing on the outskirts of the Shuggazoom city.
"What?! The Vreen are back again?!" Nova gasped.
"You've got to be kidding!" Tyran exclaimed.
"It's not possible!" Gibson said.
Not taking any chances, the Hyper Force went there to investigate them, making sure that the Vreen are not back.
"The crater!" Antauri said as they descended down to the crater to have a look.
"There's something moving down there." Sparx said, spotted something in the meteor.
Something leapt out and revealing to be… a space kittens.
"Space kittens?" Nova said, confused.
The space kittens meowed.
"Aww, they're so cute!" Otto gushed, "I wonder if they eat human flesh."
"Well, I hope none of you expect me to eat them." Gibson said with cross look.
Suddenly, the space kittens grew up into a large ravenous, man-eating, space cats.
"Oh no, here we go again." Tyran groaned.
"Ready, Team? Hyper Force, go!" Chiro declared.
They now engaged fighting the space cats.
