Katie, Trip, and Lucas were still surprised on what Eric had told them.
"I can understand your reactions, believe me I couldn't either." Eric said.
"Same here, I was a bit in shock." Taylor said.
"Sorry. It's just really hard to believe." Katie said.
"Yeah. Who would cause this to happen?" Trip said.
"Don't know, even if we already moved on from this, though I can no longer let it affect me anymore." Eric said.
"Eric. You have already convinced yourself it was never your fault." Lucas said.
"And how hard it was not just you but for all of us." Katie said.
"Now that Carter knows what actually happened, you'll finally have an answer." Taylor said.
"Your right, it's now going to be put back in the past for good." Eric said.
"So, when is Carter going to arrive?" Trip asked.
"In two or three days, hopefully he found more information." Eric answered.
"Let's hope so, if it's the only way this will all stay behind us for good." Taylor said.
"Well, the good thing is that Sky doesn't hate you for keeping the secret you kept about what happened." Katie said.
"Yeah. Good thing the kid took it well and understood." Lucas said.
"Like you once said Eric, we can no longer keep anymore secrets." Trip said.
"I'm glad he took it very well, I thought he wouldn't." Eric said.
"See you had nothing to worry about, he would never hate you." Taylor said.
"Yeah. I thought he wasn't going to forgive me or ever speak to me, but I'm glad I got that cleared off my mind." Eric said.
"Well, it was nice that we came to visit, will just head back." Katie said.
"If you want, you can stay for a bit, after all we all have some catching up with all of you." Taylor said.
"Well, why not. We do need to catch up anyway." Lucas said.
"Yeah. There is a lot we want to tell you two." Trip said.
"Okay. We might as well to kill off some time." Eric said.
Meanwhile
At the park, Sky was sitting at a bench table with Tyler, Megan, and Andrea, while the rest were playing frisbee with RIC, enjoying their day.
"You know it's a good thing that you got us out of the house." Megan said.
"Yeah. Even we still wanted to hear more stories from our parents." Tyler said.
"And so your friends won't be bored, at least there having fun." Andrea said.
"Reminds me of how my mom's friends having fun, while I was playing by the park and my mom kept an eye on me." Sky said.
"Remember, when we were kids and always wondered what our parents talked about." Tyler said.
"Yeah. Daily conversations that adults talk about, that we shouldn't know yet." Megan said.
"Well, since were are young adults now, except for Andrea she's still a teenager." Sky said.
"I'll be eighteen next year, then I'll be a young adult." Andrea said.
"Let's not forget, we're even eavesdroppers too." Tyler said.
"Unfortunately, even my friends too, good thing RIC is keeping them busy, he loves playing fetch too." Sky said.
"Yeah. You all couldn't help but hear what my dad was telling me and Sky." Andrea said.
"Surprise you didn't hear what your dad was talking to me about, but I'll tell you all anyway." Sky said.
"Yes. I have been curious to know what you talked about with my dad." Andrea said.
"Well, there was something I wouldn't think I would have ever found out." Sky said.
"Like what?" Megan asked.
"Remember when we were kids and I told you about when my grandpa was in the hospital and I saw someone in my grandpa's room while I was hiding in a closet covering my ears because of the loud beeping noises." Sky explained.
"Yeah. We remember, a lot things happened that day." Tyler said.
"True. You didn't tell your mom or her friends about it, because they wouldn't believe you." Megan said.
"Well, I was surprised to know that it was none other than my step-dad who saved my grandpa from dying." Sky said, and all three of them were surprised to hear.
"It was your step-dad, who saved him." Megan said.
"My dad saved him twice." Andrea said.
"Who would have thought it was him who saved your grandfather." Tyler said.
"I guess that would explain everything that happened that day." Sky said.
"What had happened? If you all don't mind me asking." Andrea asked.
"I'll tell you about it some other time." Sky said, when his friends walked where they were at.
"Hey Sky." Jack said.
"We're tired from playing with RIC." Syd said.
"Can we go hang around at the plaza?" Z asked.
"And even get something to eat too." Bridge said.
"Always hungry as usual, Bridge." Jack said.
"Alright. Let's go, besides its still day time." Sky said.
"Might as well let mom and dad know we won't make it home for dinner." Megan said, while sending a message to her parents.
"Let's start, walking our way now." Tyler said, as they were all making their way to the plaza.
While at Eric and Taylor's house, Katie, Lucas, and Trip, were helping set up the table, while talking to both of them about their lives.
"So you and Trip remained in Time Force over the past few years." Eric said.
"Yeah. It's been going good with us." Katie responded.
"I've been inventing new technology also to help out." Trip said.
"What about you, Lucas? How has everything been with you?" Taylor asked.
"It's been alright. I'm teaching new rookie drivers, but I did miss being at Time Force." Lucas answered.
"Looks like Tyler, Megan, and Andrea won't be coming home for dinner." Taylor said, while reading a text message from Megan.
"No worries, let them have fun while they're young." Eric said.
"Eric, is right. We were young like them too, you know." Katie said.
"And enjoyed every single moment of it as we could." Lucas said.
"They remind me of us back in the old days, when we first arrived here." Trip said.
"Yeah. Those were the days, though we do miss the ranger days." Katie said.
"Well, whatever danger is going on here, let's hope will all put a stop to it once and for all." Lucas said.
"Well so far, its been a few days since that criminal hasn't shown up or causing trouble around." Eric said.
"Let's hope its not too late. I would help you guys, if I was still a ranger." Taylor said.
"So, you haven't heard from your friends, over the years?" Katie asked.
"No. I lost contact with them, after Eric and I got married." Taylor answered.
"Although the kids kept us busy, but since their now young adults now, we know they can take care of themselves." Eric said.
"You know its a good thing Sky has been doing good and found some friends that are just like him with powers." Trip said.
"I've seen his fighting skills, he fights just like his parents." Eric said.
"Looks like his dad, though the attitude came from his mom." Lucas said.
"Your right on that, Andrea on the other hand is the opposite of her mother." Katie said.
"She is, glad she isn't like her." Trip said.
"Agree with you on that, I knew she wouldn't be like her." Eric said.
"By the way, it's kind of odd that Alex didn't come with you guys." Taylor said.
"He usually does, but lately he's been acting kind of strange." Katie said.
"What do you mean by that?" Eric asked.
"This morning we went to go knock on his door and to ask him if he wanted to come with us, he didn't answer." Lucas explained.
"Luckily he left the door open, and went in seeing he wasn't there." Trip said.
"So, none of you know where he goes?" Taylor asked.
"No. He doesn't tell any of us, he leaves early and comes back late." Katie answered.
"You know that is strange, yesterday we had a normal conversation, he seemed himself." Eric said.
"Well, let's hope he's not keeping any secrets, we all swore we no longer would." Katie said.
"Well, whatever it is he better have a good explanation." Lucas said.
"Hope your right, Lucas, tomorrow will try to ask him." Trip said.
"Same here, if I see him." Eric said, as they were finishing up then started picking up.
