Hidden Leaf Village

A 5 year old blond-haired boy sat on a swing, sadly staring down at the ground.

'Why are they looking at me like that?' The boy thought to himself.

For the last 5 years, the adults in the Hidden Leaf Village had been afraid of him and he had no idea why. The boy would give anything to make them not afraid of him.

Time skip

Naruto was now 11 years old. His intent was to gain respect from people in the Hidden Leaf Village.

He was unaware of a brown-haired teenage boy staring intently at him in the distance.

'I know about the nine-tailed fox as well.' The teen thought to himself.

This teen also had a secret.

He had extensive knowledge of the nine tailed fox sealed inside Naruto's body mainly due to the fact that he had helped stop it's rampage 12 years earlier.

Afterwards, since the Uchiha clan was taking the heat for the Nine-Tailed Fox's rampage, he decided to confront the clan's head, Fugaku.

Flashback

Banging on a door could be heard.

"Fugaku, I need to talk to you." The Uchiha Clan's head opened the door.

"About what?" He asked.

"I know you intend to betray the Hidden Leaf Village in response for a Uchiha being blamed for the Nine-Tailed Fox attack recently." It was revealed their guest became aware of a attempted coup. "Call off your coup or do you really want to go up against me as well as the rest of Konoha."

If push came to shove, he would be obligated to stop it by force.

Little did he know, another member of the Uchiha Clan would do the dirty work and quash this rebellion before it started.

End flashback

Naruto was also observed by a black-haired girl named Hinata Hyuga.

"Hey...Naruto, do you want to hang out?" Hinata asked shyly.

"Sure." Naruto accepted Hinata's offer.

The two walked off towards the Hyuga house.

Naruto had no idea he and Hinata would eventually be on the same team.

"Say...Naruto, what do you want to do?" Hinata asked him.

"Hmm." Naruto looked at her. "Beats me."

He had no idea what they should do today.

"I just want to be friends." Hinata pointed out to Naruto.

"Okay." Naruto flashed her a smile.

He was more then willing to befriend Hinata since she asked politely.

The teen followed the two as his house was not far from Hinata's.

"See you guys later." He told the two and headed in a different direction.

"Hold on. Who are you?" Naruto asked him.

Hinata put a hand on Naruto's shoulder.

"We should hurry up." She meekly said to Naruto.

"Okay." Naruto nodded to her and they went on their way.
