Azula crossed her arms even as she tried to use her inner flame to keep herself warm. Outside she heard the peasants digging their way out. Meanwhile she had been for...advised by...well Azula wasn't sure what to call the matriarch of this particular family. She was the Chief's wife with garnered respect of its own but the way she...comforted her. It made her yearn for more...it made her want to call her Mom . Well whatever her feelings the woman had told her to stay in. While she wouldn't be the first that she'd disobeyed she felt wrong for wanting to do so.
Azula both simultaneously hated and cherished the feeling. Hated it due to it feeling like a betrayal of her...nation or father? It was hard to tell but the second feeling was obvious since the Chief's wife was well she was a Mom to her. To her. It was something she even in her worst moments wanted more then anything.
So when the search parties came she'd take the Chief's wife with her. She'd see the enlightenment of the Fire Nation. And spirits she'd include her children and husband too. Katara while pushy was...nice. She liked her companionship. She and Ty Lee would have a blast together. Sokka would love to play Pai Sho with her and Mai wouldn't have to entertain her freeing her up for Zuko. The Chief could work with her father to bring enlightenment to his people. It was perfect. It was just a pity that it was taking so long. Why was that?
She shuffled a little making her inner flame hotter and trying to stay warm. She would wait. She'd be patient. She would get what she wanted. Father would see reason. She knew it.
