Chapter four:

Night has fallen and Raph heads to the room Leo's sleeping in. He lays by him with his mask once again over his nose. He has decided to sleep by the other so that way he is there if Leo wakes up before him. He closes his eyes and the whole anxiousness, from dealing with Leo's presentation on his own, helps him fall asleep.

Leo blinks open his eyes finding it to be daylight. He thinks about sleeping a little longer. He picks up on another's scent and turns his head. He sees a still sleeping Raph. He wonders if he's an omega since he can see the other has his nose covered. He turns away deciding to let the other sleep. He remembers how other alphas outside his family tend to treat omegas. He knows that things will likely end up changing a bit because of it. He just hopes him being more than likely an omega now will not bring trouble to his family. He turns back to Raph hearing him shift.

Raph blinks open his eyes to which he looks to Leo meeting his eyes. "Morning." He greets with a smile. He shifts to sit up. "How are you feeling?"

Leo's stomach growls a little loudly making Raph chuckle.

"I'll make us breakfast." Raph shifts to fully get up with a stretch of his arms above his head.

"Im an omega huh?" Leo inquires to which Raph nods.

"Yeah." Raph places a hand on Leo's shoulder. "Don't worry though. It didn't matter whether you'd be an alpha or an omega. Even as an omega you're still as important to us as you've always been. None of us will think less of you at all. You made it through that horrible process alive and that's what matters. Donnie did help a lot when I didn't know what to do. Oh and Donnie knows so he's gonna talk to the others. So they'll be in loop and ready when we get back. There's no rush. We can let you rest up for as long as you need. We'll go back when you feel ready to."

"Thanks Raph." Leo smiles softly as admittedly it is nice to hear that.

Raph smiles a little more. "Don't worry about it fearless. I'll make us an awesome breakfast. If you want to come down you can. If not wait here and I'll bring it to you."

"Okay. Thank you again."

Raph leaves the room with that to do as he said he would.

Leo lays there for a bit to let himself wake up. He then slowly gets up off of the bed. He feels his legs are a little shaky though he kind of wants to get up. He stabilizes himself which does help give him a little more strength to stand. He walks out of the room heading to the kitchen. As he approaches he can smell the smell of pancakes.

Raph isn't always the best at cooking however he makes amazing pancakes.

Leo isn't sure how that works, since other times they have to make sure he doesn't burn something.

Yet his pancakes are the best any of them have ever had.

Leo pushes that thought away and goes into the kitchen to join Raph.

Raph has let his mask fall to be around his neck now. He is humming softly as he makes the pancakes.

Leo closes his eyes inhaling the smell of those yummy pancakes cooking. He also can catch Raphs alpha scent mixing it. He actually likes it.

Raph smells like a mixture of rain and wood. He actually smells so nice to Leo.

Leo wants more of that scent. He tries to brush it off as his omega instincts. He makes it to the table and sits down in a chair there.

Raph turns hearing him go there. "Good to see you down here." He greets turning back to the pancakes.

"I didn't really feel like staying in the room." Leo admits to which Raph hums an okay as if to assure Leo it's alright.

"It'll be soon that the pancakes will be ready. I'll be finishing yours before mine. You'll be a lot more hungry than me."

"I appreciate it." Leo agrees. "Knowing you're making your pancakes you're making me just crave them." He admits honestly to which Raph chuckles at this.

"At least I can do something right in helping you."

"Hey. You got me through my presentation even though it was very unexpected. Give yourself a bit more credit." Leo points out and can tell that Raph really likes his words.

"Thanks fearless. I just did whatever I could and followed Donnies advice."

"Still my words stand." Leo shrugs. He is handed a cup of water by Raph.

"If you're thirsty." Raph heads to finish up the pancakes.

"Thanks." Leo drinks some and polishes off the cup finding him more thirsty than he thought. He lowers the now empty cup and his gaze is brought back to Raph. He gazes thoughtfully at the other.

"There we go. Got yours all done." Raph brings a plate of pancakes over placing them in front of Leo.

"Thank you so much Raph." Leo feels like a starving man now that he has the pancakes. He doesn't think he's ever been this hungry before. He eats until he's so full he can't eat anymore. He leans back with a happy sigh. He opens his briefly closed eyes as Raph warmly chuckles. His eyes take note of the mask around Raphs nose. He can't help feeling bothered by it. He needs to ask Raph something. "Does my scent bother you?" He asks surprising Raph.

Raph quickly blinks in understanding then snorts. "Really? That's what you want to worry about?" He gets a look from Leo and just chuckles. "Okay. Okay. In all honesty no it doesn't." He surprises Leo this time. "I'm just wearing this because your scent is very potent right now, and also." He licks his lips. "Very enticing."

Leo slightly glances away with a blush though does feel better about things. "H-How about some fresh air then?" He manages to stutter out.

"Sounds good to me." Raph hums in agreement and the two head outside. He lowers his mask off his nose letting the fresh air hit his nostrils.

Leo slightly keeps a distance to not overwhelm Raph with his scent. He knows in the next day or so his scent will go down to normal levels. He just hopes that it comes sooner than later. He settles himself on a deck chair which lounges back. He does still feel a bit tired. He closes his eyes only to crack one open as Raph sits next to him. He sees Raph's mask around the others neck. "You can have some distance if you want until my scent settles." He offers getting a look from Raph as if a little annoyed at that idea.

"I'll be fine Leo. I can control myself." Raph snorts and Leo just nods softly turning away to look to the sky.

Raph does the same.

Leo can't help wondering if he had signs he was going to be an omega and he didn't notice. He wonders if his desire for a certain alpha may have been signs of this. He does wonder that if he did have omega signs before then why his presentation was late. He lets both eyes close deciding that he can't really answer that. He isn't sure when he falls asleep.

Raph gets up going inside then returning to cover Leo's sleeping form in a blanket. He smiles at the other thinking about how beautiful he is. He turns away with a blush and heading inside; Surely Leo wouldn't want an alpha like him after all their fights... Despite that Raph has secretly been wanting Leo for years now...
