During a fatal accident involving a runaway vehicle containing viral cargo, Peter Parker meets his end. Only to wake up in the morgue hours later with hardly any memory of his life, and a few new, abilities. The question everyone is asking is, is this really Peter, or is it the virus that consumed his body and mind, 'Apex?

13. Filler, with an update

Something I needed to address before continuing…

So, to address why I let Mary jane stay with Paul, it's really simple, at first I hated that character, and to be fare I still kind of dislike that they added him, but he's canon in marvel comics, and it would be pour storytelling if Mary jane dumped him for peter or Apex.

Given the fact that she's been with him for four years in her time, so I wanted it to feel real and to be fair, I didn't know that much about Paul's character when I started this fanfic. I don't read Marvel comics that much, so just bare that in mind as I want it to be a plot device later on.

And from what I've gathered so far Paul is one of peter's contacts in canon. I don't know when that is exactly but I figured to keep him around to add to the plot.

Anyway there it is…

Also this takes place before the gang war arc, so that's another reason she's still with Paul, she's still with him at that point as far as I know.

Also writing is hard, it's not that easy to write fanfics and it sometimes gets tricky with all the lore and details.
