The reason he didn't want to go in was because he was the only man in the store, seeing as this particular place dealt exclusively with women's swimwear. It made him feel a little awkward when as soon as he was pulled across the threshold, several pairs of eyes turned his way, almost like they could sense his presence.

"Oooooo," Nora chirped, ignorant of the curious gazes of several faunus women already in the store. "This one is so cute!"

She pulled a hanger off the rack. It was a two piece bikini. The top had impressive coverage on the cup for a larger bust, the material a light pink with white, thin straps to secure it. The bottoms were of the side-tie variety, low riding and snug. Jaune imagined Nora slipping into something like this and liked the image his brain provided.

She'd spill out of it in the best way possible.

Li laced her fingers with his and led him further into the store as Nora began raiding the rack. Jaune followed along without complaint until they found something that caught her eye.

It was a black asymmetrical one piece swimsuit, the singular strap on the left, leaving the right shoulder and upper portion of the chest bare. Much like the one they'd seen in the window, this one had a bit of a belly window though it was more on the side, positioned so it would show off the feminine narrowing of the waist, and the ribbed contours of the wearer's ribcage. The bottoms were what you could call a skimpy hike with almost zero butt coverage, a little like a thong.

Despite it being a one piece, it was quite aggressive and not the type of thing he expected Li to like. But when she continued to stare at it for several long seconds, Jaune realized that it had captured her complete attention.

"I'm going to try it on," she finally said.

"Okay," he said. "Should I…?"

"I want your opinion," she said, meeting his eyes. "Please?"

Jaune swallowed.

"Sure," he heard himself say.

"Me too," Nora suddenly appeared, a different bikini in hand than the one she'd originally picked up. All Jaune saw was a flash of white before she hid it behind her back with a cheeky grin. "It's a secret~!"

The eyes that followed them over to the changing rooms weren't judgemental. They were amused, watching two girls haul their man over to sit on a chair and his obedience. It wasn't that he didn't want to see them in their swimsuits. He just hadn't been expecting it.

This was almost too good to be true. He was about to see his girlfriend's in skimpy swimwear.

"Stay right there, 'kay?" Nora pranced into a nearby stall and yanked the curtain closed. Li gracefully entered the one next to her, gifting him with a small smile before she vanished behind a whirl of material. He wasn't sure but at the last moment, he was positive he saw her cheeks redden…

Maybe he was just imagining it, though.

Nora was the first one to emerge.

Jaune felt his mouth go dry as he drank her in.

"So?" she asked, uncharacteristically shy. She tucked a strand of loose hair behind her ear. "What do you think?"

The top was in the tube style, strapless. It hugged and compressed her impressive breasts, clinging to them tightly and highlighting their size and shape. A band of pure white with pink trim on the top and bottom, it left her shoulders completely bare. Jaune's eyes followed her delicate collarbone and then lower across her flat stomach, pausing briefly on her belly button. It was an outie.

"Jaune?" she squirmed, biting her lip.

The bottoms rode high on her hips, the shape almost like a pointed arrow towards her crotch. When she gave a little spin, he saw that much like the one piece Li had selected, it had almost no butt coverage to speak of. Jaune got an eye full of Nora's pale white, shapely ass cheeks in all their glory, round and plush, looking soft and oh so inviting. Like a pair of marshmallows. The subtle arch of her back drew his gaze to a pair of cute little dimples just above the curve of her butt, flanking the line of her spine on each side.

She was sexy as hell.

"Y-You aren't saying anything," she spun back around, face filled with insecurity. "Does it look good?"

"You look amazing," Jaune breathed. "Nora – it was made for you."

Her eyes lit up. "Really?"

"Really," he confirmed.

"Yes~!" she pumped her fist, jumping on the spot. It did very interesting things to her body. Nora was very bouncy. "I'll take it, then."

She rushed back into the cubicle, her butt jiggling. Jaune waited until she pulled the curtain before adjusting how he sat, an eager part of his anatomy deciding to make another appearance. He really was horny, wasn't he, when just the sight of Nora in a bikini got him hard.

He wasn't sure how he felt about that. That he was so easy to get riled up.

Then Li pulled open her curtain and there was zero chance of his little-big problem going away.

Porcelain skin greeted his eyes as she stepped out, her lithe body moving gracefully. The asymmetrical style left her right shoulder and collar exposed, the material tight across her small breasts. It fit her like a glove, clinging to her toned body as his gaze raked down her form, pausing briefly on the side window that showed off her narrow waist and the hint of her hips, and the top swell of her hip. Even on the other side that was covered, he could see the lines of her exquisite torso.

"Wow," he said, struck dumb.

The black material cupped her crotch aggressively, leaving very little to the imagination. Everything was so tight and compact, and he couldn't help but devour her form with hungry eyes. Everything from her trim belly to her thigh gap, and when she turned, her cute little bubble butt. He could bounce a lien card off it, it was so firm and pert.

"Do you like it?" she asked.

"I love it," he told her.

She graced him with a beautiful smile before slipping back inside the changing room, leaving him alone. His pants were feeling a little uncomfortable now, and so he stood, walking around to try and get his erection to go down. Thankfully he was able to get it under control before Nora stepped back out, dressed in her regular clothes once more.

"Jaune-Jaune?" she asked. "What are you doing?"

"Just stretching my legs."

Nora tilted her head cutely. "Are they stiff?"

Something was stiff, just not his legs. They waited for Li and then went up to the counter to purchase their swimsuits. The lady behind the register shot him a sly look as she rang up their choices. Jaune did his best to ignore it.

They visited a bunch of different stores after that. Li bought a light summer dress while Nora picked out some cute sandals that were suited for the beach. Jaune started to notice a certain theme going on and when they both picked out a pair of straw wide brimmed hats, he had to ask.

"Are you two going to the beach?" he asked bemused.

Nora giggled. " We're going to the beach, silly."

"Not today," Li said at his surprised expression. "But we thought since the weather has been so good lately, that we could have a beach date next week."

And then he'd get to see those lovely swimsuits in action.

He had no problem with that.

"Sounds like fun," he said, smiling. "I need some new trunks, though. I didn't bring any with me."

So that was their next stop. Jaune ended up modeling swimming trunks for his girlfriends, much to his embarrassment. Nora didn't understand the concept of subtle and he had half the store checking on them to see what was going on.

"Those look really good on you," a random girl commented as Nora nodded enthusiastically. She'd made him remove his top and shoes so he was standing around in a pair of shorts and nothing else, his bare torso on display.

Jaune felt a little self conscious. He knew that he had a pretty decent body. He was training to become a Huntsman, so it was expected. He'd been training since he was a young boy and it showed in the lean lines of his muscles, coiling and shifting with each movement. He wasn't bulky. He had the body of a warrior, not a bodybuilder – but he was strong, chiseled. But having strangers gawk at his chest and abs was a tiny bit off putting.

The shorts were simple; they were a deep navy blue with white stripes on the side. They hung low on his hips, almost a little too low. He made sure to tie them firmly to keep them from slipping down or else he'd be in a boatload of trouble.

Li was staring at him with intense eyes.

"Uh – do you like them, Li?"

She nodded. "Yes, those suit you."

Even though she nodded, her eyes remained locked on the same spot.

"Right," he said, hurrying back into the changing rooms. He ended up buying those and a loose button up shirt, something light covered in colorful flowers. Perfect for the beach.

When they were done clothes shopping, they hit up a bunch of electronic stores. They weren't looking for anything in particular but it was fun checking out the latest tech. Everything from headphones to the latest scrolls.

"We should get a tv for our room," Nora said while staring at a gargantuan screen. It measured eighty inches at least.

"We already have one," Jaune pointed out.

"Yeah, but that one is super small," Nora waved at the monster in front of her. "We need something like this."

"We have nowhere to put it," Li shook her head. "We'd have to remove one of our beds."

Nora shrugged. "We can just sleep in Jaune's bed."

When Li appeared to be seriously considering it, he stepped in.

"We can't afford it," he pointed at the price and its many numbers. Nora balked.

"One day," Nora promised, bringing her hands together in a prayer. "One day."

Jaune snorted.

At this point it was pretty late in the afternoon. Finished with browsing, they decided it was time for a movie. Jaune was relegated to carrying all the bags and when they arrived, the cinema was packed to the brim with children, teenagers, adults, people everywhere, crowding the lobby as they lined up for tickets.

"What should we watch?" he asked, peering around at all the electronic posters. "Oh, hey – I didn't know another Juan Wick was out."

The first two had been pretty awesome, though incredibly violent.

Nora and Li debated amongst themselves which film they should see. In the end, they went through most of the titles screening before Jaune was pulled in to be the tie breaker. He picked something called Letters to Summer since it seemed to be about a Huntress, and he was curious how they'd portray her.

Movies often got things incredibly wrong about their chosen profession, usually with hilarious results. If nothing else, it would be pretty funny to pick out the inconsistencies.

After buying their tickets and loading up with a bunch of confections from the concession stand, they made their way over to the usher to hand over their tickets. He checked their bags to make sure they weren't smuggling in anything they shouldn't be and soon enough, they found themselves seated. The place quickly filled up and Jaune was glad they'd been a little early, getting prime seats in the middle and back.

Nora slurped at her frozen drink until she cringed, holding her head as she suffered a brain freeze. Li positioned her popcorn between them so they could share and Jaune smiled at her gratefully as he popped a handful into his mouth.

Nothing beat movie theater popcorn.

Unwrapping his chocolate coated vanilla ice cream cone, Jaune bit into it. It wasn't long until the lights dimmed and the pre-film run began playing, a bunch of advertisements and trailers for currently airing or soon to be airing movies.

"Ooo, a new Captain Atlas movie is coming," Nora said excitedly. "We need to go see it when it comes out."

"Sure," Jaune said. He was a sucker for superhero films and Captain Atlas ticked all the boxes for the type of hero he admired. He was more than just his strength or agility or durability; it was his principles that were truly heroic. "We can go see it on opening night if you want."

Nora beamed.

They settled down as their movie started. Jaune wasn't sure what he had been expecting but it wasn't this. Dawn – the main character – was a Huntress-in-training attending an academy far from her homeland. She was haughty, arrogant and a little bit of a brat, though she was also caring, warm and endearing when she allowed herself to just be a girl, and not a princess third in line to the throne. The main plot of the story was a wager she ends up making with a noble and fellow Huntsmen-in-training. An ill advised bet, regarding a third party – a boy, another noble though low in the hierarchy of the academy and court who seemed almost out of place. She was to train him and show the other noble – Cabernet – that she could make him into a fine Huntsmen. The drama was because the boy – Jon – seemingly had a crush for Dawn, but she didn't even give him the time of day until this deal was struck. He had no idea what was really going on.

She also communicated with her older sister Summer through a series of letters, second in line to the throne – and for which the movie was named. It was very much a slow burn, and it dealt more with the relationships between people than slaying Grimm or bombastic fight scenes. Other than a brief fight near the beginning, it wasn't until near the end of the film where they foil a plot by an anti-monarchist organization that you really get much action.

Truth be told, Jaune was much more invested in the moment Jon discovered the bet, and the resulting fallout. It is so much sweeter because Dawn's feelings regarding Jon had been steadily improving until it was on the verge of genuine love. Jon has a secret of his own that also comes out, a secret that explains so much about his lack of skill at the beginning, one that Dawn judges him harshly for. She feels betrayed by him withholding the truth, and it takes time for her to realize how hypocritical her anger is.

It isn't often that a main character has such clear flaws, and Jaune kinda likes it.

In the end they make up, and Dawn is able to accept her feelings for Jon. The wager is forgotten, though he goes through with it for her, and the movie ends with a declaration of feelings and a sweet kiss.

Yeah, not what he'd been expecting.

As they exited the theater, Li grabbed his arm and cuddled it. Jaune looked down at her in surprise but other than nuzzling her head against his shoulder, she said nothing.

"Did you guys enjoy it?" he asked as they followed the crowd out onto the street.

"I wanted more action," Nora said bluntly. "When it happened, it was so good. But the other stuff was also good. Dawn was a bit of a dummy, wasn't she?"

"She struggled with her identity," Li said quietly. "She didn't know how to be honest with herself and didn't allow people to get close. Her arrogance was a shield."

Nora hummed. "I think she just needed a good bonk on the head, but I was glad they ended up together in the end. Jon was pretty cool."

Jaune thought so too.

The sky was dark now, and there was a bit of a chill in the air. Checking the time, they had a couple of hours before the airships to Beacon would cease, so they had more than enough time to grab some dinner. Nora and Li didn't have a plan for this one, so Jaune took the lead. He found a nice diner on the corner of an intersection, that stereotypical mom and pop place that served the classics. It was busy but not overwhelmingly so, and as soon as they stepped inside, they were hit with the mouth watering aroma of bacon, eggs, ground beef patties and more.

It looked like a place straight of his parents era with the white and black checkered floor, red cushioned stools running down the entire length of the counter and low hanging lights. The place even had a jukebox that was blasting classic rock. They found themselves a booth by the high windows that overlooked the corner and grabbed some menus from the rack.

"Have you been here before?" Li asked.

Jaune shook his head. "Nah. Just felt like a burger and fries."

Nora was of similar mind and they both ordered hamburgers – his with a runny egg – fries and a couple of milkshakes, chocolate for him and strawberry for Nora. Li ended up getting Vacuoan fried chicken and a banana smoothie.

As far as dates went, Jaune thought this one had been pretty awesome. He always enjoyed spending time with them but getting to go out into the city with them was fun. Jaune watched them with a fond smile as once again, Nora tried to steal food from Li's order and the raven haired girl retaliated with a forceful jab to her ribs.

"Come oooon, just let me have a bite."

"If you wanted chicken, you should have ordered some."

"I couldn't! Jaune said he was paying, I can't use all his money."

"If you want some chicken, we can order some, I don't mind," he offered.

Nora pouted at him. Did he say something wrong?

"Don't just agree like that! Li can share."

"I don't want to."

"Why do you have to be such a cranky goat."

Magenta eyes narrowed. "Why do you have to be such a cow?"

Nora leaned in with her horns and Li met her with a loud clack, bone on bone. Jaune chose to ignore their jostling and took a bite out of his burger, humming as the delicious juices of the seasoned ground beef and velvety yolk of the egg spread across his tongue. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, the pickles just the right amount of tangy and the secret sauce was a little sweet with a smoky aftertaste. It wasn't much but Jaune could also pick out a little bit of heat in the sauce.

Jaune took another bite.

Nora almost pushed Li right off their bench before she rallied, twisting her head and catching Nora's horn at an odd angle. Nora squawked as her neck was forced to bend, Li pushing her back into the corner.

They garnered a few curious looks but not much else. Just a pair of faunus girls attempting to establish dominance over one another. Not an uncommon behavior. Coming from a mostly human family, it had been a surprise at first when he'd seen them do this in their dorm room but now it was just normal to him.

They never hurt each other. That is what mattered to him.

Though there was another problem here. "Guys, your food is getting cold."

Li gave Nora one just shove before carefully unlocking their horns, returning to her meal. Nora sulked for a few minutes, picking at her fries until her eyes landed on something outside their window. She perked up, her loss forgotten.

"Hey, isn't that Pyrrha?"

Jaune turned, quickly spotting her vibrant crimson hair and bushy tail. She was dressed casually in a pair of jeans and an orange tank top, a warm bomber jacket thrown over the top, open in the front. Under her arm she carried a stack of folders. While she wasn't being swarmed by fans or anything, he could see a number of eyes following her, some even pointing and aiming cameras her way. It wasn't every day that a celebrity casually walked down the street alongside you.

Grinning, Jaune pulled out his scroll and found her number before hesitating. Li smirked.

"Call her," she said and with a nod, he hit dial.

They watched her about to cross the street when her scroll began ringing, causing her to stop by the curb and dig it out of her pocket. From their angle, Jaune couldn't see her face but she almost dropped her scroll with the haste she used to answer.

"Jaune?" her voice greeted his ears moments before she appeared on his screen. She was smiling happily.

"We see you."

"What?" she asked, confused.

"Turn around."

She did, expression startled as she saw Nora in the window of their diner, waving furiously.

"Come join us for dinner."

She frowned. "I couldn't. You are on a date. I wouldn't want to impose."

"It's fine," Li said, leaning in. Her silky hair slid over his arm before she tucked it back neatly. "Come eat with us."

Emerald green eyes glittered, her hesitation fleeting. "Okay."

When she entered the diner, the noise level briefly dropped when they realized just who was among them. Even the staff working the counter paused, recognizing the internationally renowned fighter. Pyrrha acted as if nothing was amiss, striding over to their table. Jaune moved closer to the window, giving her space to slip into their booth.

The thick stack of folders thumped onto the table, rattling their utensils.

"Evening," she greeted. She peered around at all of them, her white smile blinding. "How was your day?"

That was Nora's queue to brag.

"It was super fun~! We visited the museum and we saw a huuuge statue that kinda looked just like you! Well, if you didn't have fox ears and a tail. And then we went to the arcade and I tried to beat Ruby's score but I failed," Nora scowled briefly before brightening up. "Jaune was super cool on the dance machine though! Then we went to that cafe we talked about and Li wouldn't share her cake because she's a big dummy, and then we went clothes shopping and we bought these cute little swimsuits that we modeled for Jaune, and then we went to the movies and—"

Jaune laughed. "Breathe, Nora."

"—she still won't share her food," she complained, eyeing Li's fried chicken. Li scowled. "Then we saw you and thought it'd be nice to have dinner with you."

Pyrrha blinked rapidly, trying to take it all in.

"Um – what was this about a statue that looked like me?"

"Here, we took a picture," Nora thrust her scroll under Pyrrha's nose, causing her eyes to cross. The screen displayed the picture the passerby snapped for them, the three of them in the lower half.

Pyrrha's cheeks pinkened. "I don't look like that. She is much too grand."

"It is a very good resemblance," Li said. "She even held similar weapons."

Jaune nodded. "Yeah. You'd make a good statue, Pyrrha. Think we can petition the Headmaster to get one made for the school if we win the Inter-Academy Championship?"

Pyrrha glared at him, though it was somewhat ruined by her cheeks puffing out. "Don't you dare."

"We can all be in it together," Nora pumped her fist. "It'll be the first thing everyone sees when they visit the school. The bestest team in Beacon history!"

Jaune didn't know if they were the bestest team or anything, but Pyrrha was probably the most talented student to pass through her halls since its founding. You wouldn't think so from how she acted, though.

Her ears flicked as her fingers fiddled together.

She was too humble by half but when push came to shove, Pyrrha had a mean competitive streak. To be as good as she was, it was almost a requirement. She was very good at hiding it but there had been times during training, when the three of them had ganged up on her and pushed her to work harder, to take them seriously… well, it was a thing of beauty. Even with the three of them going at her with everything they had, she still defeated them. The fact that they could draw forth that competitiveness from her, that ruthlessness that made her a four time champion – well, it felt good.

Pyrrha wasn't a fan. She didn't like showing them that side of her but they wished she'd show it more often. The young woman who was proud of her abilities and wasn't afraid to use them. From what he knew of her past, he understood her trepidation.

Talent has a way of alienating people.

Hadn't it taken them a hot minute to break through her shell?

"So – what's with the paperwork," he tapped the stack of folders.

Pyrrha sighed.

"Endorsement deals, sponsorships, and my agent's opinions on every single one of them. He wants me to go over them all and pick out the ones that I think are best," she rubbed the bridge of her nose. "I know I shouldn't say this but… it's a bit of a pain."

"Pumpkin Pete better be in there."

Pyrrha snickered. "Shut up."

"What will I do if I can't see your face on my favorite cereal every morning?"

"You see my face every morning anyway."

"Hm – true. It isn't the same, though."

She jabbed him in the side, fingers digging right into his ribs. Jaune flinched away with a laugh.

"You're an idiot," she smiled at him fondly. "A big, stupid idiot."

He was fine with that.

"Order something, I'm paying," he said.

"You don't have to…"

He waved her off. "I know but I want to. Order anything you want."

She looked like she wanted to argue but one look from both Nora and Li shut down any pushback.

"Okay."

It was an unusual way to end a date with two girls by inviting a third but honestly, Jaune wouldn't have it any other way. He didn't think Nora and Li would either.
