Jaune wasn't sure what Li and Nora told Pyrrha, but for the next few days, she couldn't even look at him without her face turning crimson, the fox faunus fleeing at the earliest opportunity. Their training sessions became nonexistent, and if he wasn't mistaken, she was taking more showers than usual.

Way more showers.

He wasn't sure what that was about but it was clear that whatever words had been exchanged between the three girls had completely broken her brain. Jaune did his best not to force his presence on her any more than was required until she got a handle on herself, but it was becoming visible that her heat was starting to manifest in a more aggressive way.

Just yesterday, she'd gone on a complete tear in Combat Class, taking on entire teams and viciously dominating them without any of the usual flare she liked to showcase in her matches. It was nothing but brutal efficiency, so much so that even Professor Goodwitch had been a little taken aback by the methodical way she dismantled her opponents.

Her ironclad control was slipping, and the beast that was known across the globe as the Invincible Girl was showing its fangs.

Ruby was also acting strangely but thankfully, she was the only one. That meant she hadn't spilled the beans to her team after she pinkie promised and swore to stick a thousand needles in her eye if she broke it, but they were beginning to get suspicious of their team leader. Who wouldn't when she was walking around with the most smug, shit eating smirk to ever grace her face.

Okay, so maybe someone else was acting a little bit weird, as well. One day, after classes, he found himself in Team RWBY's room. Weiss had offered to share some notes on Dust, something he'd been more than thankful for. Only to encounter… well…

"Uh," Jaune stared at Blake as she rolled around on her bed, her face buried in her pillow. She moved it back and forth, rubbing her cheeks all over it. She was still in her Beacon uniform, her skirt dangerously close to flipping up as her butt waved side to side. It was… disturbingly familiar to what he caught Pyrrha doing on his bed. "What is she doing?"

Weiss rolled her eyes as she shuffled through her papers. "You can blame Yang for that."

"Hey," Yang said, though not much else. A sure fire way to know that it was definitely her fault, and she knew it.

She was still acting a little standoffish with him, shy – but it wasn't quite as bad as it was at first, and at the very least, she could look him in the eyes now and hold a conversation. There was a certain softness in her eyes, though, that made his blood thrum.

Now that he knew what that was…

"Blake started getting on her case about… well," Weiss waved her hand dismissively, as if it wasn't important. "It really doesn't matter. But Yang didn't appreciate that, so she thought it would be a great idea to slip a bag of catnip into her pillow."

Jaune blinked.

Oh. Oh!

"So – she's high?" he asked.

Yang snorted. "I mean, I guess?"

Blake started rubbing her face against the pillow harder, toppling over onto her side. Her breathing was coming in small little pants, and a very familiar sound came from her, one that Jaune had heard plenty of growing up because the Arc family owned a cat.

She was purring.

Her pale cheeks were flushed lightly, the softest pink hue, her molten honey eyes glittering as she squirmed. Her tail was whipping around, unable to contain itself, thumping against the bed.

"Is it… safe?"

"It's fine," Weiss said, finally finding her notes. She smiled at him as she handed them over, looking very pleased with herself. "It isn't the first time Yang has done this."

"How many times have you given her catnip?" Jaune asked her.

"A few," she said, carefully tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. Lilac eyes peered at him intently. "But don't worry about that. Do you like what I've done with my hair?"

Weiss scoffed as Jaune took a closer look. Now that she mentioned it, it appeared much more wavy than usual. In fact, it appeared to be curled at the ends into soft ringlets. Her feathers also appeared more vibrant than usual, standing out.

"Yeah, it looks great."

She smiled at him shyly.

Yang wasn't quite back to normal but she was getting there.

It was difficult to keep a straight face, though, when Li and Nora – and Ruby – claimed that these three girls all had feelings for him. Perhaps being alone with them in their room wasn't the smartest course of action but they were his friends, and he wasn't about to start treating them differently because he now knew they liked him.

But it certainly made him aware of their actions. Every look, every shift, he felt sensitive to it.

"Ehehe," Blake giggled, hands curled like paws as she began kicking her feet. Jaune made sure to look away since she was getting dangerously close to flashing him her panties, though not before he caught a great look at her slender, pale thighs. "Ehehehe~!"

"How long does that last?"

"Depends how much Yang gives her," Weiss arched an eyebrow at her teammate. Yang just shrugged. "Ordinarily, it lasts about half an hour."

"...it was more than usual."

"Of course it was," Weiss shook her head, though she didn't appear annoyed. "You know she is going to get back at you for this."

Yang laughed. "She can try."

"She was quite successful last time, if I recall," Weiss smirked. "Why don't you tell Jaune what she—"

"Speak another word and you'll be next," Yang threatened.

Weiss snickered. "Well, I did warn you."

The door suddenly opened and in skipped Ruby, that smug expression etched on her face as if she knew all the world's secrets.

"Oh, look who it is," Yang drawled. "I think my sister discovered the wonders of masturbation with how insufferable she's been lately."

That quickly wiped the smug look off Ruby's face.

"Yang!" she shouted.

Weiss pinched the bridge of her nose as the sisters began bickering. "Well, there we go. It was only a matter of time. Let me show you out, Jaune. I'm sure you don't want to be around this when they really get going."

She joined him in the hall, closing the door behind her and leaning back against it, her hands neatly folded across her stomach. "I hope those notes help."

"I'm sure they will. Thanks a bunch, Weiss."

She tried to hide it but there was a hint of concern in her voice as she asked, "How is Pyrrha?"

Jaune looked at her in surprise but didn't even try to pretend that he didn't know what she meant. "She's… worked up."

Weiss hummed, those beautiful eyes narrowing at him slightly. "You do understand what this means, of course?"

Jaune nodded. "Yeah, I get it."

Her mouth tightened, appearing troubled. "This must be difficult for you. I'm not trying to scold you here, so don't misunderstand. This isn't like the last time, it is much more complicated than that."

"I'm not dating her," he pointed out needlessly.

Weiss sighed. "No, you're not. So you understand, then? That she has… chosen you."

Now even Weiss said it. Not that he needed further convincing. Li, Nora and Ruby had been more than enough. He'd already made up his mind, and knew the way forward. It was just about implementing the plan but that was easier said than done.

Jaune was nervous. His friendships were important to him, and he knew that they were precious to Pyrrha. But he was resolved.

"Yeah," he said. "I know."

"She is an idiot and an insufferable, annoying, doormat of a girl," Weiss said harshly, her ears pinned back angrily – but Jaune wasn't buying it. Those light blue eyes of hers were filled not with anger or annoyance, but were soft. "She always gets herself into a mess involving people. But she is strong," this was said grudgingly. "She'll get through this."

They really were childhood friends.

Antagonistic, unsympathetic at times – but friends. Close friends that knew each other better than anyone else because the pair of them came from a world that the rest of them could only glimpse from the outside. Weiss understood.

And if the other girls were to be believed, she understood unresolved desire and attraction just as well.

Jaune wanted to put her at ease. It was just finding the correct words.

"Weiss…" he hesitated, then moved towards her. She tensed, surprise passing over her face as he trapped her against the door and hugged her unprompted.

"Hewh~?" she squeaked.

She was so small and slender, delicate almost – but from experience, he knew there was nothing delicate about her strength when she came at you with her sword. She smelled good, too. Vanilla with a hint of something more, something spicy that burned in his nose pleasantly.

"J-Jaune?"

"Thank you for looking out for her."

"I – I'm not looking out for her," she blustered. "Don't be ridiculous."

"And don't worry," he continued, ignoring her. "Li and Nora have spoken to me about this. Pyrrha won't have to go through this alone any more."

Weiss froze in his arms.

"What?"

"I'm going to do something about it," he said, releasing her and stepping back. Her pale cheeks were slightly red, though her expression was caught between delight and shock. "You don't have to worry any more."

Her mouth moved but no sound escaped, and Jaune realized he might have broken her.

"You can count on me," he said, holding out his fist. She stared at it stupidly before reaching out and bumping her fist against his, like she'd seen Ruby and Yang do dozens of times.

Then Jaune left her there, returning to his room.

Nora was there but Li and Pyrrha were both missing. She perked up, tossing her scroll aside that she'd been playing a game on.

"Hey~!" she chirped, getting up off her bed and skipping over. She fell into his arms easily and he tightened his hold, spinning her around. She gave a startled laugh. "What was that for?"

"Never mind that," he said. "Where is Pyrrha?"

Nora blinked at him before smirking devilishly.

He found her exactly where Nora said she'd be, on the roof of the dormitory building. They'd trained here a few times in the early days, a quiet spot that was close to home, but that was before they found out that their clashing swords could be heard in the rooms below and their occupants were not very appreciative of this.

Li was with her and spotted him first. He waved her away and she nodded, standing up suddenly.

Pyrrha looked at her. "Li?"

"Someone is here to see you."

Pyrrha turned all the way around and spotted him, and as expected, her face turned red. Those gorgeous emerald eyes darted away, finding a very interesting spot on the ground and staying there.

Li brushed her hand against his as she passed by him, and he nodded at the silent request.

Then it was just them.

"Hey," he said.

She hesitated. "Hello."

Trust Pyrrha to fall back on being overly formal and polite. Jaune couldn't help it, snickering. Her ears twitched at the sound and she couldn't resist, looking up.

"What?" she asked.

"Nothing."

She frowned. "Are you laughing at me?"

He tried to contain his smile but it was impossible. "Maybe?"

Normally, something like this wouldn't bother her. Normally, she would laugh with him. She'd find humor in the situation, even if she didn't understand exactly what was so funny. This wasn't Pyrrha as usual, though. This was a Pyrrha that was high strung, on the knife's edge. This was a Pyrrha on the back foot, something she wasn't accustomed to.

She was a fighter at heart, after all. Relationships, love, friendship – they weren't fights, but sometimes they could be battles. Pyrrha was a master of battle – just not these kinds.

Her brow furrowed further, almost a glare. "Why are you laughing at me?"

Jaune shook his head, but he just couldn't help himself. He snorted. "Sorry, sorry."

"What's so funny?" she demanded.

That hint of aggression, normally only ever seen in the fighting ring. It should have been intimidating and yet Jaune felt at ease, sure of himself in a way that he rarely did.

"Well – you," he said. She blinked at him. "Us."

The silence was deafening, dripping with tension.

"I'm glad you find me amusing," she snapped. She was like a tightly wound thread, threatening to unravel. "Mind telling me why I'm the joke?"

"Not a joke," he corrected. "Just funny."

She scowled.

"I just never thought I'd see you back down from something," he said, and he saw her entire body tense. Everything from her ears to her tail. "That's all."

He'd struck a nerve, that was more than obvious.

He then smiled at her, welcoming. "Pyrrha – would you like to go on a date with me?"

Jaune might as well have thrown a flashbang at her feet, the stunned expression on her face almost making him laugh. He thought he would feel nervous but he didn't. It wasn't because he'd been told by multiple sources what her true feelings were. It was something else.

A confidence born of… experience? He had been on the back foot ever since Li and then Nora had gone into heat, and had swept him up in their lustful desire. He'd enjoyed every second of it, there was no mistaking it. But with Pyrrha, he wanted to be the one to take the first step. He didn't want to wait until she snapped and couldn't control herself any more, pinning him down as she rode him like a frenzied animal with nothing but cock on her mind. Not that he wouldn't love every second of that, but he wanted to do this differently.

He wanted to be the one to guide things.

These last few days had given him plenty of time to think. His conversation with Li and Nora, and this his conversation with Ruby – he'd missed a lot that was right in front of him. Partially because it was kinda insane – but also, maybe, just because his opinion of himself was… shaky. He had the training, he had the desire, but sometimes he wondered if he was… in the wrong place. He was human, one of only three human students – it put the spotlight on you, whether you wanted it or not.

Pyrrha was a big part of why he acclimatized here at Beacon so quickly. Even though she'd be hesitant at first because of her own past and fame, once that had been overcome, she'd been in his corner, drilling him, training him, pushing him. It did more than boost his skills. It boosted his confidence. Not just in his abilities but in himself, as a person.

So he wanted to repay that. And if that meant taking Pyrrha out on a nice date, showing her an amazing time and then… as Nora put it, fuck her brains out, then that is exactly what he was going to do.

"J-Jaune," Pyrrha no longer looked peeved at him, taken aback by his request. "I – I mean, I'd – I – we – huh?"

He'd completely derailed her train of thought.

"Li and Nora have spoken to you about this, right?"

She nodded wordlessly, green eyes wide like saucers.

"And this is something you want… right?"

Her mouth flapped uselessly.

"If you don't mind that I'm already dating two other girls," he rubbed his neck. "Then I'd be honored if you'd let me take you out."

"Do you really mean it?" she finally managed to get out.

He nodded. "Yeah, I do."

Pyrrha's ears were perked up, her tail swishing behind her in excitement. "I mean really mean it, Jaune. This isn't just… Li and Nora pressuring you, is it?"

He shook his head. "They might have… uh, forced me to confront some truths," that was putting it lightly. "But this is something I want to do, Pyrrha. Honest. You know I wouldn't lie about this."

The way her face lit up, it took his breath away. All of his friends were pretty, there was no denying it. But there was something about Pyrrha and Weiss in particular that hit him differently when they completely opened up and basked in their joy, in their zest for life. Maybe it was because they were so similar in so many ways, deep down, a little reserved, their true feelings guarded jealously.

Emerald green glittered happily, her healthy skin awash with color. Her teeth were blindingly white as she smiled, cheeks dimpling. That hint of fang tugged at her lower lip, and now that he knew, it sent a thrill through him to see it.

He was worried she might just pounce on him. But as usual, she showed great restraint.

"When did you, I mean – do you have a place in mind?" she rushed out. "For our date, I mean. And when. And what should I wear? I just – I haven't, this is my – dates aren't something, not actual ones, I've never—"

She was losing it in a different way.

"I have a place in mind," he cut her off. "I think you'll like it. Just something casual, right? Something comfortable."

She nodded quickly, her head whipping up and down alarmingly. "Yes! Yes, I was thinking the same thing."

"As for when – well, how about this Friday?" he asked.

"Friday is good!"

Pyrrha was almost vibrating out of her shoes. He'd never seen her so… overcome with emotion, so animated. Jaune couldn't deny that it made him feel giddy that he could bring about this change in her.

"Friday it is," he confirmed.

So the date was set. Jaune would take her to the steakhouse that Li had suggested, the one Pyrrha had fond memories of from her childhood, the same chain that once existed in Argus. It would mean so much more to her than some fancy restaurant that threatened to drain his bank account. And the after, they could take a walk around Vale and bask in the big city lights, enjoying each other's company.

They could stay out late since they didn't have classes the next day, and he wouldn't have to ask Li and Nora to make themselves scarce if Jaune guided them to a hotel for the night, where…

...where they'd have sex.

Mind numbing, vigorous sex. If it was anything like the times with Li and Nora, it would be out of this world. Pyrrha could finally let loose, just the two of them and they could enjoy themselves to the fullest. If that is what she wanted, of course.

It was what he wanted.

All of the doubts had fallen away, especially after seeing how happy she was. They talked a little longer before Pyrrha literally skipped down the stairs, returning to their room. She was on cloud nine.

Friday couldn't come soon enough.

"Bro, you serious?" a voice said from out of nowhere, scaring the hell out of him. Jaune jumped, looking around wildly.

Was he starting to go insane?

"Over here," the voice said, and he spotted that familiar head of ginger hair peeking over the edge of the roof. Cardin stared at him and Jaune stared back.

"What the hell are you doing?" Jaune demanded.

"I could hear chatter from the roof, though I'd check it out. See if there was any juicy gossip to be had," he scoffed. "I didn't realize it was just you picking up another animal. Two of them not good enough?"

"A pleasure to talk to you as always, Cardin."

"Seriously," he ducked out of a view for a second before leaping up, balancing on the edge. He was still dressed in his uniform, though he'd removed the jacket and his shirt was partially unbuttoned, tie missing. "You got a fetish or something?"

Cardin was the last person he wanted to know about this.

"What did you hear?"

"That you're taking Nikos out," Cardin whistled. "I know she's a stunner but come on, Jauney-boy – don't you think that tail is a little too much?"

"Can't you stop obsessing over their animal traits for a moment?" Jaune asked. "I'm starting to think you've got a thing for it and you're just in denial."

Cardin laughed sardonically. "As if! I'm going to find myself a nice human girl, none of those extra appendages for me."

"Good luck finding one here," Jaune smirked. "I don't think Cinder Fall is into you."

"That bitch isn't into anyone," Cardin scoffed. "She loves herself and only herself."

Jaune had heard all the rumors, of course. And had seen the brutal way she had rejected the advances of men in the past. At first, people had speculated that she was a lesbian but the first person to voice that within earshot of her had been viciously cut to shreds with nothing but a good ol' fashioned tongue lashing.

After that, it was just accepted that she only desired her own company and that was it. The more mean spirited people parroted what Cardin just voiced, that she loved only herself. Jaune didn't really have much of an opinion on the subject.

All he knew about Cinder Fall was that she was smart, a good fighter, incredibly attractive and was not above burying someone if they pissed her off.

"Maybe you can change her mind if you try."

"I'd rather date one of these animals you're so fond of."

Jaune thought maybe he could direct the conversation away but no such luck. Cardin was like a bloodhound when he got onto something, and he wasn't about to let this one go.

"So what, they just gonna share you or something? You think that's healthy?"

Jaune rolled his eyes. "I see you chugging energy drinks every day at lunch. Shouldn't you be worried about your own unhealthy habits?"

"I'm just saying, shit like this is bound to get messy," Cardin sat down, elbows resting on his thighs as he gave him a serious look. "It's all fun and games when those beasts are slobbering all over themselves in heat,"

"Cardin," Jaune snapped.

"But once they get their fill, then what?" Cardin pressed on, unconcerned with his annoyance. "You gonna date all three of them? You sure you've got enough cock in those pants to go around?"

"Stop talking about my cock."

"Just be careful. You saw Sky. When they get all riled up, they aren't exactly reasonable – bro," he held up his hands as Jaune glared at him. "It's just facts. Just take care of yourself, that's all I'm saying."

In his own crude way, Cardin was looking out for him. As much as Jaune wished he wouldn't be such a jerk about it, it was touching. Sort of. Maybe? In any case, he was being genuine – that much was clear to Jaune, as much as he wanted to just ignore it. And yeah, Cardin had a point. Things like this could get really messy. What Cardin didn't know is this was Li and Nora's idea, not his own.

He wasn't two-timing – or was it three-timing? Li and Nora were a package deal, so did that mean…? Okay, he was getting a little distracted.

"I'll be fine," he said. Cardin looked at him doubtfully. "Really – I'm good. You don't need to worry about a thing."

"Well – don't say I didn't try," Cardin threw up his hands. "Just get tested, yeah? You never know what you might catch when you – hey!" Cardin shouted as Jaune tried to shove him off the roof. He almost toppled off. "Hey, what the fuck, man?"

"Just shut up," Jaune growled.

Man, he could be such a dickhead sometimes.
