(All right, we're so back! Now let's get into the rest of this part in the story before moving on to the next night! Enjoy!)
Asher had managed to make it halfway through fixing Monty's skeleton, but that doesn't mean he's free from the virus's control just yet, and while Asher would think this'd be more easy if he had greater access to the AI, the company policies involve that he can't take the AI chips and work on them off the job, due to past history of tampering with the animatronics.
Asher rolled his eyes at that nonsense, "If they were there, they would've known not to rebrand this company." Asher sighed, "Don't kill me as soon as I put this in, Mont." He put the chip into the back of his head, and was getting ready to halt the procedure.
He had to leave the protective cylinder if Monty would go feral on him. The robo-gator's eyes open, "Rgh…RARRGAGH!!" Monty couldn't speak, his jaw was completely removed, so he could only growl. He tried to break free of his restraints. "Monty, run Pacify_311213." Asher said, giving a voice command, to which the robo-gator shut down immediately. "I'll be back tomorrow, I've gotta check on Freddy."
(Later at Freddy's green room)
Freddy had tidied his room up while he waited for Asher's next assignment of him. He sighed in sadness, already missing Gregory, Bonnie and Sammy. "It is better if they do not return. I and Asher should surely have a handle on this situation." He thought to himself, he never realized even in thought, he doesn't contract words together. "I am certain the boys are safe. But how…how could I have never heard of these disappearances…?" Freddy questioned how much memory has been lost, Asher told him he had become vain while under the malware's influence. "It cannot be coincidence that I was under the malware's command, around the same duration as the disappearances…" Freddy learned from Asher that he was under a virus's influence for at least a few years, but the recent disappearances happened a few months ago. And Freddy's most recent memory from before the glitch was Bonnie's disappearance to meeting Gregory. "What have I been doing…?" Freddy had asked himself. "It does not matter, now. I have to help Asher figure this out." Freddy decided he would deal with this issue later, and will focus on solving the mysteries of the Pizzaplex. But given Asher's recent investigation, he wonders how he'll pull that off without suspicion.
(More later)
Asher and Cassie drove back to their other house to see Bonnie, Sammy and Gregory. "So, Sammy and Bonnie went to the Pizzaplex and saved Gregory?" Cassie asked, "I know it's all crazy sounding, but I promise it's true, Cass." Asher had said to his daughter. "That's good, at least. I was wondering why Gregory was acting so strange after he left the party." Cassie realized that his disappearance at the party made more sense. Cassie stared outside the car window and saw their house. Asher stopped the car and they got out. She was anxious, and was hoping Gregory was safe.
Asher knocked on the door, "Dad, this is OUR house." Cassie said, "Sorry, hon. Force of habit." Asher apologized. "Are y'all carol singers? Come back next year, please?" Bonnie said from the other side of the door before opened it, "Hey. Was wondering when you'd get here, I woulda thought you were coming here around Christmas next year, too." Bonnie said, which made Asher sigh. "Bonnie, is Gregory here?" Cassie asked, concerned. "Yeah, he is. He's sitting with Sammy and Moon, watching movies." Cassie ran into the house and ran to the living room. "Cassie!" Sammy and Gregory shouted when they saw her.
Cassie hugged her cousin and best friend, "I'm so glad you're both alive!" She said, letting go to look at them. She could see Moon, standing in between them. "Cassie?" Moon had asked, "You remember me, right, Moon?" Cassie asked, "How could I forget, little supernova? It's great to see you. You've grown so big since the last time I saw you." Moon used his hands as his way of measuring Cassie's past height to her current one.
Sammy giggled, "Just you wait, I'm gonna be taller than HER!" Sammy said, "Since when? You still have some growing up to do, and I'm already 5 years ahead of you." Cassie said, frowning. "At least I'm getting gonna have girl problems when I grow up!" Cassie and Gregory were disgusted by what he said, while Bonnie was about to scold him. Moon covered his mouth in shock. Asher walked into the room. "Where the heck did you learn that, Sammy?" Asher asked, "It was on one of the movies we're watching." Sammy said.
"Okay, but that's very uncalled for, rascal. You could seriously hurt her feelings." Bonnie said, "She started it." Sammy folded his arms. "You don't finish it by saying more bad things, Sammy." Asher said. "Apologize, then you go to the corner, okay?" Bonnie said. Sammy didn't want to go in the corner. "Sorry, Cassie…" Sammy apologized and walked to the corner of the room.
"Sheesh, so you've had to put up with him for a few hours? I'm sorry." Cassie talked to her friend, "Yeah, he's never said stuff like that." Bonnie sighed, already seeing what was going on. "Go easy on him, Cass. He had it rough at the family gathering enough as is." Bonnie asked that of them quietly, and then Cassie looked over at the corner her cousin was standing in. "I-uh…okay, I get it." Cassie said, sitting with Gregory on the couch.
(Later)
Asher went ahead and explained more things to Gregory and Bonnie, with Sammy fast asleep on his Papa's side. Moon leaned the chair back, relaxing himself. "All right, so about a few years ago, something suspicious was added to the main network, but it's been undetected until I saw it." The man brushed his head, explaining that's when he knew it would later connect to the animatronics, but he couldn't find a way to gather them and disconnect them from the main network. Bonnie getting jumped by that Prototype Freddy was pure luck.
"That's before the time I took Bonnie from the Pizzaplex, and then the company made up the rumor that he was decommissioned." Cassie remembered something like this when she was little, but she always just thought Bonnie needed a new place to stay. At least this sorta made sense.
"But around a few months ago, that's when all these disappearances started taking place." Asher then concluded that that's when the Glamrock Animatronics were starting to act more eerie than entertaining. "I'm still trying to wrap my head around Freddy. Freddy's like the nicest guy I know, doesn't have an arrogant ro-bone in his robot-y. Bonnie said, "Sheesh, I bet your worst quality is telling too many jokes." Gregory said, "Haha, then guilty, seeing as I'm "charged"!" Bonnie had thought that was a great setup, which only made everyone look a him annoyed.
The Glamrock Rabbit just shrugged, "At least Sammy would've appreciated my puns." Bonnie said, "You gonna keep messing around or can I get to explaining?" Asher said, a little irritated.
"Sorry." Bonnie said, "Now then, the only way I made Bonnie avoid its hold was when I took him and disconnected him from the main network. With the other bots, that's not gonna work." Gregory rolled his eyes, "You're not suggesting we fix them, are you? We can't get close enough to reset them. Besides, if they've had their hands in the disappearances, they should be better off in a freaking junkyard." Bonnie was shocked, but he understood Gregory's anger.
"No, because even if we scrapped the Glamrocks, they'd just be replaced. I heard they were planning to replace Bonnie with a new Tiger around summer this year." Asher said, "Whoa, I'm getting replaced with a TIGER?!" Bonnie didn't know whether to be in awe or shock. "Shut up. Now, we need to find a way to take the virus off the network." Asher said, "And I think I found the source. I managed to find one in the Glamrock Beauty Salon." Asher said, pulling up a picture of arcade games, Gregory looked at it.
"There are these arcade machines. I analyzed the code once and it seemed that the virus was using these Princess Quest games to act as interactive hubs for something called "Glitchtrap." I'm not sure what it is, but it's odd." Gregory snapped his fingers and pointed at it. "I saw that game in Vanny's lair in Fazer Blast!" Gregory said, and Asher turned to him.
"You did? Where at?" Asher asked, "Vanny's lair looks like a security office up on the catwalks to Fazer Blast. I saw one of those Princess Quest games in there." Asher waved in a celebratory fashion, "Thanks, Gregory! I know where I'll be able to go next." Asher then said, finally having a seat and thinking. "I need to figure out how I can get in there without being suspicious." Asher tried to think of ways.
"I can go in." Gregory spoke up, "No. Out of the question, Gregory." Bonnie and Asher spoke to him.
"What? I and Freddy can look for the arcade machines together while you do your job or something. Don't act like I couldn't handle myself." Gregory said, pulling out his Fazerblaster. "You two barely survived last time, kiddo." Bonnie said, "Yeah, but we DID survive, so we may as well go back and try to stop this!" Gregory said, folding his arms and staring down the two adults. "Gregory! There were people in there trying to hunt you down, we're not taking you back!" Bonnie said, holding his child tighter. "I'm not putting my son through that again!" Gregory started tearing up, "So I should just leave Freddy behind, too then, is that right?" Gregory asked, dejectedly and angrily.
"I'm not leaving Dad…" Gregory said to his side, Cassie comforted her friend by patting his shoulder. Cassie looked like she was thinking about this whole thing, "Either way, we need to do something, Dad. I don't think you and Freddy can handle everything yourselves." Cassie said,
"Cassie, I can handle this. I'm not trying to get you kids involved in this." Asher said, trying to get these kids to see reason. "We'll finish this tomorrow. I dunno how we're gonna handle this, but we will." Asher then rubbed his eyes. "We'll stay here for tonight. Let's get some rest."
(That night)
Bonnie sat on the couch and watch some anime in the living room. "Why do I have to sound so similar to Suzaku?" He asked himself. Bonnie thought about this whole situation. The "Glitchtrap Virus"—Asher called it, the disappearances of people. And judging by how Gregory seemed to behave, it seemed like he was nearly a victim of that. At the very least, Asher sounds like he's figure out this solution, which involved those arcade machines.
Bonnie was hoping to help his friend, but he knows who he needs to prioritize the safety of the most. "God, forgive me, I hurt my son, for my own selfishness." Bonnie prayed, quietly, feeling the shame when he heard a young familiar voice.
"…Papa…?" He looked over and saw his son walking over to the couch to sit next to him. "Hey, what are you doing up, kiddo?" Bonnie asked, "Couldn't sleep…after the nap…" Sammy said, tiredly. "Papa…I'm sorry I was bad today." Sammy apologized, beginning to cry. "Well, I forgive ya, kiddo." Bonnie said, placing his hand over his shoulder. Sammy cried into his dad's shoulder. "Shhh…Let it out, rascal. Papa's here." Bonnie said, patting his back gently. The robo-rabbit blamed himself for what his boy was dealing with. Any potential trauma was because of his own recklessness. "Shh…everything's gonna be okay, rascal. You wanna watch anime with me before while you head to sleep?" Bonnie asked, Sammy looked up, and he wiped his tears. "Can you put on Bluey…?" Sammy asked. "Sure, mate." Bonnie said in a poorly sounding Australian accent.
Bonnie changed it to Disney and watch Bluey with his son. He waited until Sammy fell asleep to take him to bed and then went back to the living room to go to his own sleep. Tomorrow would be another day for them, hopefully.
(Okay, ending it here! I honestly had trouble coming up with this, but this is how I'm starting to make them go back, so we can do all the other stuff we got in game. Like DJ Music Man, Princess Quest, sorta the Burntrap/Mimic stuff. Yeah, but this is more like a battle recovery before going into another. Anyways, stay strong and awesome!)
