Attack on Titan: Freedom Cry

This is based off of the perspective of the nameless soldier from the game Attack on Titan 2 as well as elements of Assassin's Creed I will be making my first ever series with this so please don't judge to much of my writing style.

1. Prologue

Location: Unknown

Year: ???

In a room there are people who are chained up on the ground who look to be beaten up. The ones who chained them up have rifles on their backs dressed in some kind of uniform which consists of a white dress shirt, a black tie, and grey coat along with a grey cap and black boots. As the camera pans out it is revealed they are in some kind of military base, being guarded by multiple soldiers all over keeping watch over their newest batch of prisoners which they held on the second floor.

Marleyan Soldier 1: "Alright you Aridam scum welcome to your new home. Make yourselves comfortable you'll be transported with the rest of your filthy kind soon."

Marleyan Soldier 2 (annoyed): "Can't believe we have to watch over these Aridams, why don't we just put them with the Eldians in the basement?"

Marleyan Soldier 1: "It's just for today we have to deal with them until this storm passes by and the transportation trucks will take the Eldians and Aridams to the camps."

Unknown to them a figure was watching them from afar wearing a black cloak to protect themselves from the rain with their hood up covering their eyes as they stalk the soldiers outside who're wearing rain coats. The hooded figure spots a lone soldier away from the others and sneaks up behind them, quickly putting their right hand over the soldiers mouth preventing them from screaming as the hooded figure put their left fist behind the soldiers back and with a small click a long blade went through the soldiers back killing them instantly.

The hooded figure looks down at the body of the soldier he killed and dragged it away from plain sight. The figure then looks towards the other soldiers and headed towards them getting his hidden blades ready. They preceded to stealthily take out the soldiers outside the base one by one using the sound of thunder to hide any noises that the soldiers would've made. After the hooded figure finishes their kills they stand right at the entrance of the base preparing themselves for the oncoming slaughter.

Hooded Figure: "Time to make my entrance."

As the figure spoke it's revealed to be a young mans voice that belongs to the hooded figure. A second later the front doors to the base are kicked down as a the hooded figure rushes in with his wrist blades drawn out and charging at the Marleyans giving them very little time to react.

Marleyan Soldier 9: "SHIT INTRU-"

The soldier was quickly silenced by the hooded man with a blade through their throat.

Marleyan Soldier 7: "FIRE YOUR WEAPONS DONT LET THE ASSASSIN LIVE!"

The nearby soldiers tried to shoot the hooded man with their guns but it was proven useless as the man moved his arms with inhuman speed where the bullets would hit as something on his arms deflected the bullets. The hooded man sprinted towards the soldiers making sure to block the bullets with his arms and when close enough he released a long blade from his right upper sleeve and stashed the soldiers in their vital areas. He looks towards the soldiers who were a few feet away from him and spoke out with a cold tone.

Hooded Man: "Hear me Marleyans, This place will be your grave."

All of the soldiers who heard those words were now terrified as the hooded man walked towards them really menacingly flicking his left wrist down as another blade slid out from his sleeve. But for the prisoners, they wore a smile on their face hearing that voice and the screams of the Marleyans.

M Aridam: "He's here.."

Marleyan Soldier 8: "KILL HIM!"

Hooded Man: "..."

The hooded man rolls out of the way of some incoming gunfire as he retracts both blade from his wrists and aims his arm up and flicks his wrist up shooting some kind of rope with a hook onto the upper floor and reels himself up as he reaches into his coat with his left hand pulling out a Mauser gun aiming at the soldiers and shoots their hands to prevent them from firing. Once he lands on the upper floor he quickly grabs a metal cylinder object from his pocket and pulls the pin off it then tossing it towards the soldiers as they are given very little time to react as it explodes killing them in a second.

Back to the second floor the soldiers there heard the gunfire and explosion from the bottom floor and are quickly arming themselves. The chained up Aridams started to chuckle softly gaining the attention of one Marleyan soldier.

Marleyan Soldier 3: "What's so funny?"

The bruised up Aridam woman looks up at the Marleyan soldier and smiled weakly saying.

F Aridam: "None of you will leave here alive.. He will kill you all.."

Marleyan Soldier 3: "S-Shut up you!"

As the remaining eleven soldiers gathered at the door and aimed their guns to the entrance as they can hear footsteps approaching them slowly.

Marleyan Soldier 1: "Keep your finger on the triggers and don't leave your sights from that door and wait for me to give the word."

The footsteps just got louder as they got closer to the door and once the noise reaches the door they stop.

Marleyan Soldier 4: "Do we fire yet?"

Marleyan Soldier 1: "Not yet"

The door is then quickly kicked down and a figure quickly enters the room quickly grabbing the attention from all of the ten soldiers.

Marleyan Soldier 1: "Open fire!"

As the command was given all of the soldiers pressed their triggers firing their guns right at the figure. But when they realize it was just a decoy of their own soldier.

Marleyan Soldier 1: "WAIT IT'S A DECOY!"

But it was too late as the hooded man rushed them with great speed and started to slash at the nearest Marleyans. Starting by stabbing one of them through their chest and using their body as a shield for the incoming bullets. As the soldiers guns finally ran out of bullets the hooded man retracted the blade from the body he used as a shield and tosses it towards two soldiers as they catch it but easily distracted them letting the hooded man slit their throat with one precise slash.

Looking towards the remaining seven he runs towards them and uses a nearby crate to propel himself up into the air he falls towards them and before they could fire at him he lands on one of them stabbing their skull killing them instantly and elbows another soldier on their noise making them bleed and uses his free arm to stab their head. He quickly pulls out the blade that was in one of the soldiers chest and slashes another one's stomach letting some of their guts fall out right in front of them. He then looks at the three soldiers who are nearby and pulls out his Mauser Gun and shoots all four of them in their heads leaving only one left. Quickly the soldiers aims their gun to the female Aridam's head holding her hostage.

Marleyan Soldier 1: "Stop right there Assassin! If you move another fucking muscle I swear I'll kill this bitch!"

The hooded man just stood there giving the soldier a death glare, showing off his black eyes that had a faint glow to them making the soldiers shocked.

Marleyan Soldier 1: "N-No way! You can't be! You can't be a-"

Using this opportunity the lady moves her head forward and slams it back onto the soldier's face making them hold their face in pain. Using this opening the hooded man retracts the left blade and aims his arm at the soldier and with his right hand he puts it under his left arm and pressing a button a gunfire could be heard as a bullet pierced the soldier's head killing him instantly.

The man then looks at the woman who was held hostage offering a hand to her.

Hooded Man: "Are you alright?"

F Aridam: "Aside from the bruises and a bit of blood loss I'm fine. Thank you for coming for us."

The hooded man simply nods his head and walks towards the chained up Aridams and held out one of his blades making them nervous.

M Aridam: "You came for us.. Thank you.."

The hooded figure lifts up his arm with the blade and slashes it down breaking the chains off the prisoners and helping them on their feet as he calmly asked them a question.

Hooded Man: "Are there anymore prisoners locked up?"

F Aridam: "I overheard some of them saying there are some Eldians in the basement cells."

The figure just nodded and started to head to the basement.

Hooded Man: "When I'm done freeing the Eldians we have a cargo ship that's ready to set off so make sure to get everyone near the entrance."

As he left the room he passes by all of the dead bodies on the floor making his way to the basement. Once he arrives there he opened the door to the basement and saw the cages that were filled with people that all looked like they've been beaten badly. He shakes his head at this and walked towards the cages startling the people inside them.

M Eldian: "W-Wait please n-no more.."

The beaten up Eldian who spoke had tears in his eyes as the hooded man simply grabs the door of the cage and rips it open with ease shocking the Eldians.

Hooded Man: "I'm here to help, so let's get out of here before more Marleyans show up."

The Eldians take a second to process what's happening and simply they just had tears of relief pouring from their eyes as he hooded figure leads them out of the basement.

Outside

The scene then shows the hooded man walking out of the military base that's now on fire with the Eldians and Aridams behind him wearing the jackets from the dead soldiers as to protect themselves from the rain as they head towards a cargo ship that was about to sail off from the area. As the hooded man helps the Eldians and the Aridams into the ship he looks towards military base one more time as a explosion destroys parts of the base. But before he could jump onto the ship dozens of armed Marleyan soldiers show up aiming their guns at the hooded man.

Marleyan Soldier: "Hold right there you son of a bitch! You ain't leaving here with our prisoners!"

The hooded man smirks under his mouth mask and reaches behind him, grabbing a lantern like objects from his belt that's shaped as a weird crystal skull and held it out towards the soldiers surrounding him.

Marleyan Soldier: "What are you gonna do with that? Shine us to death?"

Marleyan Soldier: "We have you surrounded!"

Without saying anything the hooded man raises the lantern into the air and a pulse of energy hits the soldiers making them freeze in place, seeing this one of the soldiers tries to warn his comrades.

Marleyan Soldier: "SIR THAT'S AN ART-"

But it was too late as the soldiers then were hit with another pulse of energy which started to trigger something within the soldiers to go mad, clawing their own faces as bats surrounds the soldiers.

Marleyan Soldier: "AHHHH MAKE IT STOP IT HURTS!"

Marleyan Soldier: "THEY'RE EVERYWHERE! GET THEM OFF, GET THEM OFF!"

Their screams can be heard as the soldiers cry out in pain as some pulled out their own guns and shot themselves to end their suffering as others just let their suffering continue until they finally went into the hands of death.The hooded man then lowers the lantern, putting it back onto his belt as he turns away from the bodies of the soldiers.

On The Ship

As he climbs onboard the ship as it starts to take off he walks towards the Aridams and Eldians who where all being examined by other hooded figures making sure they weren't in any serious conditions. He makes his way to one of his allies who dawned a blue cloak who was looking out to the ocean.

Hooded Man: "How are they?"

Hooded Woman: "They just need some patching up in some places, but other than that they should be fine in a couple of weeks. It's thanks to you that they are safe now."

Hooded Man: "That's good, how long until we reach our base?"

They both make their way to the rails of the ship to stare out to the open sea.

Hooded Woman: "Well in a couple days we should arrive at our destination. That reminds me, Mentor would like a word with you once we arrive."

Hooded Man: "About what exactly?"

She simply just shrugs as they stare out to the ocean.

Hooded Woman: "Probably something about that mission to recover some of the artifacts, you know the usual."

Hooded Man: "And what will we do about the people we rescued?"

Hooded Woman: "We'll take them back to base and see what they want to do. If they want to join in the fight then we'll put them to the test, and the ones who don't we'll give them something to do there, besides the Eldians could use some of our teachings, with what's going on with Marley and other nations it's better we prepare them for what's to come."

Hooded Man: "I agree our people have suffered enough already because of the Marley and the other nations who are against us. If we collect enough artifacts we can save our people. But it'll take a while until then, so till then we just keep doing what we're doing."

Hooded Woman: "Understood, and you should get some rest you had a long day."

Hooded Man: "Yeah you're probably right. Let me know when we arrive thank you Irma."

Irma: "Of course Vega."

As the hooded man now known as Vega walks away from his friend and makes his way to the people he just rescued.

Vega: "How are you all feeling? I hope my friends here have helped you all with your injuries."

One of the male Eldians speaks up who had some bandages on their arms.

M Eldian: "It's thanks to you we are all out of that Hell hole. We owe you our lives."

Vega: "You don't owe me anything, I'm glad I made it before anymore harm came to you all."

M Eldian: "What will happen to us?"

Vega: "Well we can't really take you back to your homes.. so we decided to take you back our base of operations and see what we'll do with all of you."

M Eldian: "I-I see.."

Vega: "I can assure you all that you will not be harmed as long as you follow our directions. We'll do whatever we can to provide you all with whatever needs you will all need to live. Now if you excuse me I need some rest before we make it to our destination."

The man simply nods as Vega then makes his way to his quarters. When he enters it he removed his cloak and hanged it on a coat hanger which showed his outfit underneath.

In the Ship Quarters

As Vega removed some of his clothing he reached for the crystal skull lantern on his belt and carefully places it inside a chest next to his desk. He then starts removing a pair of gauntlets that held his blades that were on his arms and places them on a pedestal as he rubbed his arms being relieved to finally take them off. The final piece of armor he took off was his metallic mouth mask.

Vega (thoughts) : 'Where does Mentor plan to send me this time?'

He then reaches into his pocket and takes out a journal and places it on his desk. On the journal there is a insignia that resembles of an eagle's head that represents the order that Vega belongs in.
