A/N: Here's Chapter 9…
It was a long, long day at the lighthouse. Due to the amount of cases Setsuna and Stacy had, the rangers were busy trying to clean and maintain the lighthouse but it was on overload. However, Mason and the others decided to help them. Setsuna said they needed a deep clean of the whole lighthouse. Mason agreed as he came with his Pokémon to help. As the rangers were all working together, Mason took a deep breath as he went to grab a brown chest. As he went to open it, he noticed that there was a lock. Mason turned around as he looked at Machamp, "Hey Machamp, can you Karate Chop the lock?"
Machamp turned around, nodding its head as he was helping the other Pokémon. Using his hand, he broke through the lock. Mason grinned as he opened the chest, seeing Machamp go back. As he opened the case, he stood in awe. He looked to see the photos, black and white photos of the lighthouse. He turned around to notice another lighthouse.
"That is so cool," said Mason, turning to Hoot, "Did you know about this?"
Hoot turned around as he scanned it, "Ah, the first lighthouse of Sinnoh! There's mystery behind it."
"Mystery?" asked Mason, raising an eyebrow, "I'm all ears."
"Well, the original owner of the lighthouse never actually perished. He was deemed… missing presumed dead," said Hoot, "That's all I know."
"Well," said Mason, "I know someone who knows about Sunyshore history. I can stop by later."
Hoot nodded as he turned to the others. A blue aura surrounded him as a screen appeared. The rangers watched as they noticed their ranger suits on TV. There was a reporter as she was speaking. As the rangers huddled, Setsuna's eyes widened as she saw what was going on.
"This is Jubilife TV News! Word has finally come across that we have a new squad of rangers that have been protecting the east side of Sinnoh for the past two months. They are called Poké Rangers Time Force, a new addition to the previous Poké Rangers who saved Sinnoh last year from the evil Ferro Fett and Gircannon. These new rangers are fighting criminals we have never seen before. Researchers have shown that these time space portals are going back and forth every time a monster has grown. However, there is no sign of Dialga or Palkia, which makes the mystery greater. We are thankful for their help in keeping our world somewhat at peace."
As the screen diminished, Setsuna slammed her fist on the table, "Damn it, they know."
"Well, I mean, it's been two months," said Xavier, "People talk."
"Here's my problem, Xavier," the red ranger said. The four rangers looked toward Setsuna as the red ranger went to speak, "I'm all for you guys using your powers. But, if you remember, we made a promise not to reveal ourselves. The four of you are not supposed to be using technology from this time. They now know we exist. If they learn that our technology is from my time, do you know how much havoc that will cause? History is going to change in an instant."
"History has already changed," Hoot said.
Stacy was silent as she looked down. Xavier turned to her and then at Hoot, "True. Pedro saw Persira. The people on the boat saw Rogue up close. The incident at the hospital… many people just see us as heroes. I mean, will your time change that much?"
"Possibly. But, as of now, we are now known to exist. However," said Setsuna, "They will know. And when they do… be prepared for questions. I hope you have enough to back up and cover up."
Go over time and space…

Chapter 9: Mystery of the Lighthouse
Sunyshore City Gym…
Xavier was sitting in the car as Mason sat in the passenger seat. Mason turned to the blue ranger as his hands were on the steering wheel, pulling up to the Sunyshore City Gym. As Xavier made a left, Mason watched as he examined it. It was a silver mini tower with red poles connected to solar panels around it. Mason and Xavier climbed out as they shut the doors. Both of them headed toward the blue glass doors. As the doors opened, the two climbed up the stairs, seeing the bronze gears rotating clockwise, generated with electricity. They arrived at the playing field. It was a golden battlefield with a yellow platform.
"So, why are we here?" asked Xavier.
"Simple. Volkner's my regular customer," said Mason, turning around, "Yo, Volkner!"
Suddenly, a growling sound could be heard. Mason turned around as a Luxray pounced on the ground. As it looked up, Xavier turned to Mason as Luxray moved toward him. Luxray bowed its head as Mason went to pet it. Looking up, a man was heading toward them. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. He had a blue jacket with black jeans and grey shoes. He also had golden buttons along his arms, "Pleasure seeing you, Mason. Off today?"
"Well, yeah. I was helping with cleaning the Sunyshore Lighthouse. This is Xavier, one of my friends," he said.
Xavier grinned as he shook his hand, "It's nice to meet you."
"Likewise," said Volkner, shaking his hand as he turned to Mason, "You're not here to battle me? I have been looking for battles for a while. You said you would."
Mason chuckled as he went to reach for his pocket, picking up the photos, "In a little bit. Um, so you know that abandoned lighthouse off of the beach?"
"Yeah, before the Vista Lighthouse was created," said Volkner, "Why?"
"I came across this…," said Mason, showing the photos. Volkner looked at the photos, seeing them. He chuckled as he was looking at them, "Jasmine was looking for these."
"Jasmine?" asked Mason, "As in Olivine Gym Leader Jasmine?"
"Yeah," Volkner replied, "Before the Vista Lighthouse was built, the Sunyshore Lighthouse had a connection between the two founders. One founder lived in Sunyshore City, one founder lived in Olivine City about the early 20th century. Captain Sherman Hudgins was a great man of great history as he developed the Vista Lighthouse after the great hurricane that damaged the original lighthouse, hence why its old and just a historic landmark. His love interest, Jenna Johnson wanted to create a lighthouse with the same design as the Vista Lighthouse when she went to help develop the Olivine Lighthouse."
"So… what happened to Hudgins then?" asked Xavier, raising an eyebrow, "Is he dead?"
"Try missing," said Volkner, walking toward his office. The other rangers followed him as Volkner opened the door. As he did, his Raichu and Electivire greeted them as he went to sit down with the photos. Luxray jumped up and sat on his desk as Volkner went for the fur brush. As Volkner was brushing Luxray's fur, he continued, "He set out to go to Johto, helping Jenna build the Olivine Lighthouse. There was a Category 4 hurricane that developed off the coast and headed toward Sunyshore. He was already on route, heading north to Johto when the hurricane headed toward him. The last the locals talked about it, he was missing just off Route 223."
Mason sighed as he looked at the photos, "Well, I am sure Jasmine was looking for this."
"Oh yeah, Jasmine was because they are making a museum on the first floor about the history of the Olivine Lighthouse."
Xavier sighed as he looked at Mason, who gave the photos to Volkner. As he turned to Mason, Mason looked at Xavier as he turned to Volkner, who continued, "There is no proof of his death, but he did take a plane heading to Johto."
Turning to Raichu, Raichu nodded as he turned to one of the black drawers. Pulling the drawer, he took out an old map that was deteriorating with age. As he gave it to Volkner, Volkner gave it to Mason as he looked at it, "Many people tried to find where he went… but that's the flight plan."
"Hmm…," said Mason, looking at him, "Can I borrow this?"
"Good luck if you are going to find him," said Volkner, "How are you going to find out?"
Mason grinned as he looked at him, "I have my ways. Thanks, Volkner."
Xavier looked at Mason as he went to leave. As Xavier nodded quietly, he followed him. Mason went down the stairs as he headed toward the exit. As he opened the door, Mason looked at the map as he decided to look around. Xavier turned to him as Mason went to morph. Grabbing him by the arm, Mason turned around, "What?"
"You're going to use the Time Flyer to find his location aren't you?" asked Xavier.
"Well, why not?" asked Mason, "We have the tech to do it… you know what could happen if we solve the mystery?"
"And Setsuna said these powers are only used to arrest Cyrus and Capone!" said Xavier.
"History is already changing every second. The timeline outcome has already changed… in multiple situations," said Mason.
"I think you're insane," Xavier replied, "Hoot is already upset that we are using the morphers and now we're in the public eye."
Mason turned around as he looked at him, "Do you want this mystery solved?"
"Well, yes, but-."
"We might be officers arresting Capone's gang, but we have a duty to find out what happened in history too and I think this would be a really great adventure that doesn't involve Capone's criminal."
Xavier sighed as he looked at the yellow ranger, "So, you basically are reopening a case that happened around… 1924?"
"Correct," said Mason, "Now, come on… we got a flight path to figure out."
Capone's Lair…
It was all peace and quiet in Capone's Lair as the villains were sitting together. As Capone placed his feet on the table, Satfrax and Cyrus were walking around, trying to figure out what to do with everything. Persira sighed as she turned to Capone, upset and annoyed as she turned around to him, "Capone, honey, when are we going to strike?"
Capone yawned, "I'm cutting back."
"Why?" asked Persira, astonished by his response.
Satfrax and Cyrus turned around, waiting for his answer. Croak Capone placed his hands on his stomach with a cigar in his mouth, "Those rangers have cost me seven criminals… and at the rate we're going, we won't have a mob like family to finish our goal. So, we need to be careful."
"But, we need to reach our goals," said Cyrus, "Persira's right. If we want world conquest, we must strike!"
"Well, you want world domination, I just want to be rich," Persira said, striking her head up. Cyrus rolled his eyes as Satfrax turned to Capone, "Well, then how come you released a dirty cop from freeze compression then?"
The villains looked at Satfrax. Capone choked as he turned to Satfrax. Cyrus and Persira turned to each other and then at Capone. Capone chuckled as he placed his feet on the floor, "It looks like the Meowth is out the bag."
The door opened as the villains looked across. Capone climbed out of his seat as humanoid Huisan Arcanine arrived. He had a black and blue police officer jacket and pants with black armor that looked like Coalossal's body.
"Ah… Detective Kanine… he covered up most of my murders at a good price. Too bad Detective Schiff at the time caught him," he said, sighing.
"Don't worry, boss. I have been stretching and I can't wait to help with the project you have," he said, grinning.
Persira rolled her eyes, "Are you sure you want him to strike? He's nothing but a dirty cop."
Kanine turned around as he grabbed a black and red pistol, aiming at Persira, "Don't even…"
Persira gulped as the nozzle was pointed at her. Kanine's pistol had more than bullets. One bullet had flames in it. Once someone was hit, they burned from the inside out. It was one of his new weapons.
"Don't worry…," said Capone, grinning, looking at Kanine, "Don't forget your tickets."
Route 222…
Xavier and Mason were heading out toward Lake Valor just to finish a job that Setsuna asked to get done. Xavier grinned as he turned to Mason, who was looking at the map, following the flight plan with his finger. Mason took out a notebook as he was drawing the design. He looked at him, "Is it worth doing this?"
"Oh come on, X! Hahaha.. yes, it is," Mason said, "Think about it. It would be so cool to see this."
Xavier sighed as he increased the speed, heading straight toward the city. Looking up, Mason turned around as he saw a blue sign for the Sunyshore Rest Area on the right hand side. He turned around as he looked at Xavier, "Hey, I don't know if I can wait, but can you pull over? I need to… you know…"
Xavier rolled his eyes as he turned to Mason, "I told you to go before we left."
As he got off the exit toward the rest area, he drove along the dirt path to the parking spots. There were signs heading back to Sunyshore City with a mega house with bricks. As Xavier placed the car in park, Mason grinned as he got out of the car, closing it. Xavier shook his head as he placed his feet on the dashboard, "I don't get it. He is so obsessed with finding the remains of Hudgins…"
As he looked at the rearview mirror, he noticed a few trainers on their bikes. As they pulled over, there was a black and red police car that pulled up with lights flashing. Xavier examined the car. He noticed those police cars don't match the Sunyshore Police designs. He turned around as he noticed a cop walking toward the trainers. They must've done something illegal. As Xavier minded his business, he heard explosions. Turning around, Xavier opened the door as he noticed the cop as the trainers were screaming, throwing their money onto the ground. The Centuroids were outside as they were collecting. Kanine laughed as he looked at them, "Yes… take the money."
He then looked up, seeing Xavier. Xavier was the only in the lot, "Get him!"
Xavier grabbed his silver blaster from his morpher and pulled the trigger. Blue beams struck as the Centuroids were hit. Kanine turned around as he looked at him, "Huh? Who are you?"
"Time for… Time Force!"
As Xavier pressed the button on his morpher, a red and white Poké Ball was flashing on the morpher as blue lights began to swirl. Jumping up, his suit transformed as he materialized, landing on the ground.
"Uh… Time Force… but…"
Xavier reached for his morpher, pressing a red button. As his emergency signal activated, he turned around as he reached for his Time Force Badge, "You're under arrest!"
"Screw you!"
He released his weapon. Pulling the trigger, Xavier dodged it as the bullet hit the ground. An explosion occurred as Xavier turned around. The bullet barely missed the car. He pressed his morpher, releasing his Vector Sabers. A blue electric charge surrounded them as he placed his sabers together, creating a lance, "Vector Lance, Vector Hurley!"
A blue electric bolt was unleashed, hitting Kanine. Kanine stumbled as Xavier went to strike. Slashing Kanine, Kanine laughed as he released a bullet. Explosions appeared as Xavier fell to the ground. As he landed on the ground, Xavier looked up as he tried to get up only for Kanine to strike.
"Die, you little-!"
Sparks hit as he stumbled to the ground. He turned around as he saw Carl and Stacy heading toward Xavier.
"You okay?" asked Carl.
"Yeah…," said Xavier.
He reached for his weapon, only for the three to take out their blasters, "Fire!"
Three beams of energy hit as his blaster was hit. Before Kanine could strike, the three rangers took out their Vortex Weapons, "Fire!"
Blue, green and pink energy beams struck as Kanine landed on the ground. As he stumbled to land, he looked up seeing a red beam of energy, striking him. Kanine turned around as Setsuna appeared with her Vector Saber, "Good job. Where is he?"
Kanine laughed as he looked at him, "I am not going to sit here and watch this…"
Dashing over to the car, he closed the door as he started the engine. Backing away, he spun around as the rangers dashed over. A flash of blue light surrounded him as he disappeared. Xavier threw his weapon on the ground. He turned around as he saw Mason heading toward them. Setsuna walked toward him as the other rangers followed behind, "Poké Rangers, return!"
Pressing their Chrono Morphers, flashes of energy appeared as their suits disappeared. Mason turned around as he looked at the car and then at Xavier, "Um… I left my Chrono Morpher in the glove compartment."
Xavier took a deep breath, "Yeah, you missed the action. Your scavenger hunt is going to have to wait."
"And you left your morpher in the car?" asked Stacy.
Mason sighed as he looked at Xavier. Carl walked toward him, "What were you thinking?"
Setsuna folded her arms across her chest, "Friends, it looks like Mr. Taylor has some explaining to do."
Mason sighed as he walked toward Xavier's car. The others followed as Xavier got in the driver's seat. As everyone put on their seatbelts. Mason opened the glove compartment, picking up the Chrono Morpher, placing it on his left wrist, "While I was in the bathroom, I was thinking of going on a scavenger hunt to find the lost body of the founding father who built the old Sunyshore Lighthouse, okay?"
"… And?" asked Xavier.
Gulping, Mason turned around as he looked at Setsuna, "Permission to use the Time Flyer?"
Setsuna's eyes widened as she went to grab him by the neck, "You were going to use future technology to find the mystery of the man who died 100 years ago?"
"Well… I wasn't going to go back in time…," said Mason, trying to breathe, "I just wanted to find his location."
Setsuna clenched her fists and leapt toward Mason. Mason gulped as Setsuna slammed his head against the passenger seat. As Setsuna was strangling him, Carl and Stacy tried to break the fight. Xavier rolled his eyes as he kept his eyes on the road. It was going to be one heck of a ride back to the lighthouse.
Capone's Lair….
Kanine stumbled as he walked toward the four villains. He looked at Capone as he placed his gun on the desk, "Boss, they shot my gun!"
"The Centuroids got the profits, you did good for me," said Capone.
"Sir, they shot my gun…" he said pointing to the pistol with red cracks in it, "That guy in blue did it…"
"Oh," said Persira, "So, you ran into them… surprised you still breathing."
"Satfrax," said Capone, looking at Kanine to grab his weapon, "Help him."
Satfrax shook his head as he turned to Capone. Capone looked at him as Satfrax touched Kanine's weapon, "I don't deal with cops… especially those turned criminal. I don't care if your Capone's right hand man…"
Capone reached underneath to grab his machine gun, only for Cyrus to step forward, "I'll handle it. Come with me."
Satfrax turned to Cyrus as Kanine walked over with a grin, "You are amazing…"
He turned around as Kanine followed him outside. As the door closed, Satfrax and Persira turned to Capone. Capone dropped his weapon as he stood up from his chair turning to Satfrax, "He bailed me out… he's family to me."
"That's your opinion, sir," said Satfrax. Persira said nothing as she turned around, walking away. Satfrax followed suit as he walked with her out the door. The door closed behind them.
Down below, Cyrus walked into Satfrax's lab. As he turned around, he noticed a green and black laser device. As he was able to fix it, he looked at Kanine as Kanine turned to him. He was surprised a human was with them, "I'm surprised a human joined us… why are you here?"
"I'm only here because Capone sent me back to my time… well, I'm kind off by 16 years but I am back in my time," said Cyrus, "I'm here to finish what I started."
"Started?" asked Kanine.
"Capone said he would take me only if I work for him. My mission is not to build his empire. It's to take control of Dialga and Palkia… and Giratina… to create a world of distortion…. And a whole new world that I can control."
Kanine laughed as he looked at him, "You? Try to control the Creation Trio…. You might want to start thinking differently and changing your plans."
"What do you mean?" asked Cyrus.
Kanine laughed as he looked at his new weapon, It was a black and red pistol, but this time it had a grey and white scope attached, he looked at Cyrus, "Capone doesn't care. He will destroy you once things are looking up. He's looking to build an empire. Once he learns your full story, he will probably jump the chance."
"He won't… he doesn't know anything about it," he said.
Kanine laughed as he poked him with the pistol, "Don't… underestimate… Croak Capone."
As he walked away, he grinned as he headed out the door. Cyrus turned around as he sat down at his desk. Turning on the computer, he began to continue what he started, only for the doors to open. He saw Persira and Satfrax standing across from him.
"Cyrus, what are you doing?"
"Making sure Capone doesn't see my work…," said Cyrus, looking at his material, "Kanine said he would kill me once he knew."
"He meaning Capone?" asked Satfrax.
"Yeah," said Cyrus.
Satfrax grinned as he placed his hand on his desk, "Don't worry. I'll handle Capone. I will also handle Kanine."
"Kanine?" asked Persira, looking at the door, "He's Capone's buddy. And no offense, he hates humans."
Cyrus stood up as he turned to him, "If I had Team Galactic at full strength, Kanine would be nothing. But, I agreed to help the three of you. I don't trust him."
"Well," said Persira, "I'm glad we are on the same side. We need to figure out what to do before Kanine decides to become the top boss. No offense to our current boss, but I am not bowing to an ex-cop."
The three of them continued their conversation. As they were talking, Capone overheard them outside. He sighed as he turned around, thinking about things. He grinned as he headed up the stairs. As he walked up the stairs, he headed toward the weapons room. As he stepped in, he noticed all of the weapons from the 41st century. He grinned as he grabbed one of the assault rifles. He smiled as he went downstairs, "Don't worry… I'll make sure he is not on top."
Meanwhile…
Mason was sitting in the living room, going through pile of books in the Sunyshore Lighthouse. As he was creating a map, he was figuring out a new flight plan that could've caused Captain Hudgins to leave. As he was looking around, he noticed the other rangers were sitting across from the table. They heard of what happened. Stacy shook her head as she turned to the team, "Guys, are you sure we're doing the right thing letting Mason figure this out?"
Setsuna sighed, "Well, if he wants to use the Time Flyer… I guess why not."
"Are you sure?" asked Carl, "You know he's going to find a way to figure it out."
The red ranger nodded, "I guess if it's worth figuring it out."
As she climbed up from the chair, she turned toward Mason as Mason had a pen in his hand, figuring out the flight path. He looked up as Setsuna, "Hey, sorry if I strangled you…"
"What's your point?" asked Mason, looking at Setsuna, "You guys think I'm nuts."
Setsuna rolled her eyes, "Well, I don't really think using our technology would be a smart move just to find where he went, but if it matters that much to you… we'll go with you."
Mason looked up as he stopped writing. He stood up from the couch, he looked at her, "Really?"
"Yeah. I know our technology is supposed to be used for arresting criminals, but I think for one trip to wherever you're going, I would love to know more," said Setsuna.
Mason grinned as he looked at her, "I guess it's fine. We need to find where he lost control."
Before Setsuna could sit down, the sound of Hoot's alarm went off throughout. Hoot looked up as he flapped his wings, "Rangers, Kanine is back… and this time he is seizing the entrance way to get into Sunyshore."
Mason shook his head as he closed the book, "Let's go."
As he dashed out of the lighthouse, the other four rangers looked at Setsuna. She took a deep sigh, "Stealing my line."
Sunyshore City Entrance…
People screamed as they were tied up together near the side of the entrance. The Centuroids were hopping as they turned around to look at Kanine. Kanine laughed as he looked around. The Centuroids grabbed jewelry and cash.
"Anyone that uses a Poké Ball to defend will be executed," he said, "Do we have the money?"
"Yes!" said one of the Centuroids.
"Good!" he shouted, "Now, to proceed… I will destroy those who don't pay."
As he aimed his assault rifle at a person tied up, he grinned as he looked at them, "Goodbye."
Suddenly, yellow beams struck as Kanine was hit. Kanine turned around as Mason arrived with his blaster. Placing his weapon in the holster, he turned around as he snapped his fingers. Machamp arrived, tackling the Centuroids. Kanine turned around as he went to strike, only for his weapon to freeze. He looked up as Stacy arrived with her Kadabra. Xavier stretched out his hand as his Corviknight struck across, ripping the tape of the victims with its wings, freeing them.
"Why I oughta kill!" shouted Kanine.
"Kadabra, Teleport!" Stacy shouted.
Kadabra nodded as he used its spoon. A blue aura surrounded them as they disappeared in an instant. Stacy turned around as Xavier and Mason arrived. Carl and Setsuna landed on the ground as they arrived. Kanine turned around as he looked at Xavier, "I remember you… I had them under my jurisdiction."
"Yeah, well I did my research… you are nothing but a dirty cop, Detective Kanine," said Xavier.
Setsuna turned around as she looked at him, "Let's arrest him! Let's go!"
Setsuna stood in the middle as she formed an X with her arms, the morpher faced Kanine. The others followed suit as they stretched out their arms and then placed two fingers on the morpher, "Time for… Time Force!"
Pressing the button, a red and white Poké Ball was flashing on the morpher as blue lights began to swirl. The rangers jumped up as they transformed into their suits. First, Setsuna jumped up as her suit materialized. In a four-way split screen, the other rangers transformed in their suits. The five rangers landed on the floor.
"Poké Rangers Time Force!" shouted the rangers as Mason stretched out the Time Force Badge. The rangers stepped forward as Xavier spoke, "Kanine, you're under arrest!"
"Centuroids!"
The Centuroids started dashing toward the rangers. Setsuna, Stacy and Xavier pressed a few buttons. Red, pink and blue auras surrounded their arms as their Vector Sabers appeared. Xavier placed his sabers together, forming a lance. Setsuna struck the Centuroids across with her blades, spinning around as she slashed them in the face. She turned around as she kicked them in the stomach. Stacy flipped forward as she slashed a few more. Sweeping them, she flipped forward as she grabbed her weaponry. Pink energy beams struck as the Centuroids landed on the ground. Xavier slashed a few as he flipped backwards. He spun around, slashing a few of them across.
Meanwhile, Mason and Carl withdrew their Vortex Weapons. Yellow and green blasts surrounded them as they were all struck. The Centuroids fell to the ground as Mason and Carl stood back to back, aiming at the incoming ones.
"Double Shoot!"
Green and yellow blasts hit as the Centuroids were hit. Explosions occurred as the Centuroids landed on the ground.
Setsuna turned around as she slashed Kanine. Kanine aimed his weapon, releasing flame bullets. Blocking them with her Vector Saber, explosions surrounded her as she dashed through the smoke. As she flipped forward, she slashed Kanine in the stomach. Kanine turned around as he went to strike. Setsuna dodged the attack, a red energy pulse emerged as it struck Kanine in the face. Kanine screamed as he landed on the ground. As she went to jump up, Kanine aimed his weapon. Red beams struck as Setsuna screamed, landing on the ground.
"Now," said Kanine, "Allow me… Die, all of you!"
Releasing flame bullets, the rangers were hit as explosions occurred. The five of them landed on the ground as Kanine laughed. He turned around as he placed a black nozzle on top of his rifle. He then turned the dial, "Now, to charge it!"
As he aimed his weapon, a red energy burst was forming from his weapon. Outside, not knowing, Satfrax was looking at the bushes, stretching his hand. As Kanine went to strike, the nozzle exploded. Kanine yelled as his weapon exploded. Kanine yelled as he landed on the ground.
"Capone! What the hell?" asked Kanine, seeing his broken weapon.
"Now," said Setsuna, Stacy and Xavier, withdrawing their Vortex Weapons, "Freeze-compress him!"
The Vortex Launcher connected on top of the Vortex Sniper. The Vortex Blaster connected to the front of the weapon. The Vortex Vulcan and Vortex Pulsar combined on either side of the blaster, sideways. The Time Force Rangers held it as they aimed for Kanine.
"Vortex Bazooka!"
"Target…," said Stacy.
"Locked On!" shouted Setsuna.
The helmets began to glow as the scope began to arrive in their visors. A crosshair appeared as Kanine was struggling to get up from the ground.
"Blizzard Beam!"
Pulling the trigger, a blast of ice energy erupted from the weapon. Swirling across, the blast pierced Kanine. He yelled as ice began to form around his feet, heading toward his head, "I am NOT guilty!"
Ripping the purple patch from his right arm, Kanine began to grow ten times bigger, roaring as he went to strike. He aimed his new weapon, striking the rangers. Explosions occurred as Xavier fell on his back, reaching for his morpher, "Hoot, the Time Jets?"
"Emergency System activated," said Hoot, "Should be there shortly."
During the slipstream, the Time Force Zords went through two thousand years of history. As a white light surrounded one of the buildings, the five jets appeared out of Sunyshore City's attractions. Flying across, the Time Force Zords were in a linear formation.
The rangers all landed in their respective zords. As Mason logged in, Hoot's face appeared on the screen, "Disable him with Beta Mode."
"That's easy enough," said Mason, "Let's do it team!"
"Megazord Formation, Beta Mode!" Xavier shouted.
The rangers held on as the Time Jets were floating up in the air. Time Jets 2 and 3 were flying up vertically. The jets folded as blue arms appeared. Time Jets 4 and 5 were flying below as the jets folded, turning into legs. Time Jet 1 formed to become the chest. All the jets combined as the front of the jet opened, revealing a blue helmet.
Looking across, the Time Flyer started flying over toward the Megazord.
"Time Blaster!"
The Time Flyer folded into a white laser pistol with two black nozzles poking out. Picking it up, the Time Force Megazord Beta landed on the ground, picking up the blaster. Upon picking it up, Kanine released a few blasts of energy. The Time Force Megazord jumped dodging the explosion and aimed his weapon. Blue beams struck Kanine as he tried to hang on. Kanine grabbed his blaster as both started running down the street, creating a shootout. The Time Force Megazord spun around as it went to strike, only for Kanine to dodge the attack. As he hid behind a building, the Time Force Megazord turned around to aim for him.
Before the Megazord could engage, explosions occurred as Kanine struck him with his blaster. The rangers yelled as they were hit by the attack. Kanine laughed as he went to aim. Immediately, the Time Blaster aimed at Kanine. Blue blasts hit Kanine as his armor was hit. The blaster landed on the ground as the Megazord pulled the trigger. A blue beam struck the blaster, causing an explosion.
"Alright," said Setsuna, "Change Formation, Alpha Mode!"
"Change Formation! Megazord Formation, Alpha Mode!" Setsuna shouted.
A blue aura surrounded the Time Force Megazord as it split back into five jets. In a flash of red light, the jets transformed into their own zords. Iron Valiant folded its weapon as it transformed into an arm with Luxray. Luxray transformed into arm as the tail shrunk, legs folded with a hand forming. The two arms floated across as the Empoleon Zord split into two legs. The head shrunk as the body split. The Torterra Zord shrunk its head and arms, becoming the chest as the tree detached, becoming the shield. The Infernape jumped up as it crossed its arms and legs. The Infernape combined with the Torterra as its head popped up. The other zords connected with it. The tree was held, becoming a shield.
The rangers this time landed in a cockpit, with red lights. Setsuna appeared with her console, "Time Force Megazord Saber!"
A pink blade, similar to Iron Valiant's lance appeared. It was a pink blade with a silver hilt and blue crystal with black and gold lights.
"I will defeat with my bare hands then," he shouted.
"Let's go!" shouted Setsuna.
Setsuna pressed a button on the joystick. A red aura surrounded it as a duplicate saber appeared, the same as the Time Force Megazord Saber. Pulling it out, she stretched it out as two blades on either side stretched out, exactly like the Megazord. As the Megazord stretched it, the same thing happened. A green clock appeared behind it as the clouds and skies got darker.
"Blizzard Strike!"
A teal aura surrounded the Megazord Saber as it slashed Kanine. Upon contact, a yellow and green energy slash surrounded the criminal as he screamed. Kanine froze as Mason and Xavier turned to the screen, "Time's up!"
3… 2… 1… FREEZE!
"Capone!"
The screams of Kanine echoed as he landed on the ground, causing an explosion. As the explosions appeared, Kanine shrunk into a miniature. The skies began to brighten as the rangers were looking at the screen. Setsuna placed her saber in the slot, "Case closed."
The Megazord began to glow in a red aura as the Time Force Jets materialized, heading back to their time. Mason landed on the ground as he revealed her Time Force Badge, sealing Kanine in the capsule. He threw it across, giving it to Xavier, "You're lucky I was there to catch it."
"Well…," said Mason, "Yeah."
He turned around, seeing the Time Flyer located on the ground. He headed up toward it as he went to stand on it. The rangers nodded slowly as they hopped on together. Mason pressed a few buttons as the Time Flyer engines ignited, heading straight toward the flight path.
Capone's Lair…
"Damn," said Satfrax, walking inside to the hideout. Persira turned around as Cyrus was confused. Satfrax slammed his fist down, "I was hoping to kill him."
"Well, I did," a voice said.
The villains slowly turned around. The voice of Capone could be heard as he walked toward them. He grinned as he laughed, looking at the team, "I gave him a nozzle that actually was altered backwards."
"Backwards?" asked Cyrus.
"Yeah, those nozzles in the weapons room are actually grenade launchers. So, when he put the nozzle on, I rewired it," said Capone, grinning.
Persira stepped forward, "Why did you do that to your friend?"
Capone turned around as he walked toward his desk. He slammed his hand on the desk as he spun the globe that was on his desk, "Let's just say, I don't want a dirty cop to take over my business. The world is ours… not his."
Persira and Satfrax stood there with happiness. Cyrus said nothing as Capone grinned, "You will get Team Galactic back, Cyrus. You just need to learn how to be a mobster boss… but you are going to have to work with me… BUT I am top boss."
Cyrus nodded slowly as Capone grinned, placing a cigar in his mouth.
Route 224…
The rangers were following the route north toward Route 223, to learn that it was Route 224 that the flight pattern was controlled. As the rangers landed on the ground with the Time Jet, the rangers were amazed to see a beautiful garden path. The path was greener with flowers around the area. As the rangers turned around, they were looking at the path.
"So… he landed here?" asked Xavier.
"Yeah," said Mason, looking around, "Route 224 is a secret route…"
"Secret?" asked Stacy.
"Home of Shaymin," said Carl, walking on the grass. Stacy removed her helmet as she looked at them, "Like the legendary?"
"Correct."
The rangers headed up the hill, heading toward the end. As they arrived at the end, Mason turned around to notice a few blades in the ocean. Looking at the beach, he turned to see the plane that matched the photo. He looked up as he went toward the beach. Doing so, he found a white and red letter. Kneeling down, Mason removed his helmet as he opened the letter. The letter had some blood and smoke marks as he went to read.
To whoever finds this letter,
Thank you for learning about the mystery. Yes, I write this in injury. I was on my way to visit my beloved Jenna when a hurricane hit my plane. I headed straight for this place. However, just when I thought my life was over. I was saved by someone mysterious. My location can't be found, but know that the legacy of the Sunyshore Lighthouse lives on in mine and Jenna's soul. You can look around, but I highly doubt the police will find me. I am going somewhere secret. I hope you learn more about the lighthouses and how they work together to find a way home.

Mason looked at the letter as he turned to see the plane. Carl turned around as he examined it. He looked at it as he withdrew his helmet, "Look at this dude!"
Mason headed over as Carl looked at it. There were pink and white flowers and a vine wrapped around it. Carl laughed in excitement as he looked at them, "Guys, it could only mean one thing. The plane lost control on Route 223… but the plane crashed here at the end of Route 224. There's a mystery behind this place."
"Mystery?" asked Xavier, removing his helmet, looking at the flowers, "Yes, a mystery! There's a legend about Shaymin."
"Shaymin probably saved Sherman," said Setsuna, grinning as she turned around, "Flower Paradise is a beautiful place that I've heard about."
"Flower Paradise can't be seen by human eyes though," said Stacy, stopping her thoughts, "Sherman and his Pokémon are…"
"He was saved by Shaymin," said Xavier, looking at the letter, "That's why it's a mystery. This will be hard to bring to Volkner."
Mason shook his head, "I don't think I will say anything."
Xavier turned around as he looked at the yellow ranger, "You're not saying anything?"
Mason shook his head again, "Let the mystery be a mystery."
Setsuna grinned as she placed her hand on his shoulder. Mason grinned as he looked at her, "And yes, I am satisfied we got some questions."
Setsuna nodded as she looked at him, "Good. Let the 'dead' rest. Let's head home."
The rangers placed their helmets back on their heads as they headed back on the Time Flyer. As the Time Flyer ignited its engines, the Time Flyer flew across, heading back to Sunyshore City. The group headed south, not aware that Shaymin stood at the end of Route 224, observing them as they continued their daily lives.
"Thank you for not exploiting my secret," Shaymin responded. A green aura surrounded Shaymin, disappearing.
Sunyshore City…
The mayor of Sunyshore City was walking up the platform with his microphone on. He turned around to see the journalists with cameras. Smeargle were around to sketch the scene as others had cameras. He turned around as he saw Detectives Briscoe and Curtis on either side with Officer Jenny next to them. He turned around as he looked at the cameras.
"My fellow citizens of Sunyshore City… obviously Sinnoh has been attacked for a while and now our city is in peril. We are very lucky to have a new squad to defend our city. Granted, they are different. Poké Rangers have been around since 2006. However, I do on planning to figure out who they are and how we can use their technology to defend our city."
"I won't allow that to happen," a voice said.
The mayor turned around. He stopped as a woman appeared with black pants and a black shirt. She had blonde hair down past her shoulders as she looked at her. She also had two decorations on either side of head, resembling two black teardrops with a gold stripe on either side. Her grey eyes stared at the mayor, "Mayor, these rangers are just like the Dino Charge Rangers. They are here to protect the region and nothing more. No need to exploit."
"I don't know if they are Cynthia. I am thankful that they have stopped eight criminals so far and made our city safer, but we are learning that this technology of the Time Force is not… normal."
"What do you mean, not normal?" she asked.
"The technology… I plan on learning more about this technology and eventually, will expose their origins and who knows, maybe I'll expose them just like what happened in Hoenn," he said.
Rey and Ben turned to each other as Officer Jenny stood there silently. The mayor turned around to leave. Journalists began asking questions as Cynthia started walking away. It seemed the mayor wanted to flush them out. What could he be hiding?

Poké Rangers Time Force Chapter 10: The Mercenary
A/N: Well, this is the first chapter I have to say was interesting to write. I also wanted to write something that was a little easy to do and not so much a case. But, as you can see, things are starting to get a little interesting moving forward. But, we know one thing about Capone: that he will not surrender his position. So, I wonder what will happen moving forward with Cyrus and Capone?
So, yeah… next chapter is a double-digit chapter. Can't wait for your reviews. And I apologize for not updating between November and December. To get to the point, after Thanksgiving, I was running non-stop for at least three weeks. This is the first day I am actually sitting and uploading things to the computer. This also includes my other fanfic.
