Standing in front of the Guardian Units of Nations base, Sonic, Tails, Amy and Tania are waiting for an answer as they're hoping if the one Sonic waits for shows up.

As the door opens, Rouge appears as she sees Sonic and Amy.

"You two? And who are these kids?" Rouge asked.

"Long story. Is Miss Gordon with you guys?" Amy asks while begging to know.

"Oh. Oi, Donna, the kids are here to see Miss Gorden." Rouge calls as she opens the door wider.

"Okay. Are you sure you could walk fine?" Madonna is holding Meg as Meg herself is holding crutches.

"Yeah. Hm?" Meg is riddled in bandages all over her body and the only thing exposed from the wrappings is her mouth and one of her eyes as half of her face is covered, even dressing in a white gown.

To her surprise, she sees the hedgehog that finally shows up after his adventure ends.

"Nicky!? Nicky!" Meg hops as she mover the crutches as fast as she could, making her fall as she hugs Sonic while sobbing with joy. "Nicky! Thank goodness…"

"Hey, Meg. Looks like Eggman is done for." Sonic confirms while grinning.

"Really?"

"No life signals are found, but we'll find him when he's still alive." Said Madonna.

"So that means you did it?"

"Yeah." Tails answers as he, Tania and Amy approaches Meg.

"Huh? Are those…" Meg is surprised to see more anthropomorphic animals that Sonic has saved.

"Tails, Amy and my sister Tania. There's a lot more I can introduce to you." Said Sonic.

"Uh huh! Hey, lady! Thanks for taking care of my brother!" Tania giggles as she's glad that Meg did something for Sonic.

Meg smiles as she rubs Tania's face.

"I'm happy that there are people that care for your brother. You're welcome, kiddo." Meg giggles.

As Tania giggles back, Tails approaches Meg and bow in front of her.

"I was thinking if we can let Sonic stay with me at Westside Island. Can I please take care of him for you?" Tails asks while looking in her eyes.

"Of course. Nicky needs a place to stay. I'm sorry, but I can't stay with you any longer. But we might see each other again." Meg is able to pull a confident smile towards Sonic.

"Yeah. I'm sure we'll see each other again." Sonic closes his eyes as he and Meg have their foreheads onto each other like how they did months ago.

"Amy, is it?" Meg turns towards Amy.

"Yeah?" Amy is surprised that Meg is calling for her.

"I hope you and Nicky make a great couple." Meg laughs while encouraging Sonic and Amy to be together.

"Huh!? Meg!" Sonic exclaims as he blushes, even Amy laughs.

"I promise I'll make him my boyfriend!" Amy pulls a smug smile while rubbing her nuzzle with her finger.

"Ugh… You too, huh?" Sonic groans as he's being shipped with any girl he made friends with.

Afterwards, Meg gives Sonic a last kiss on his forehead while rubbing his head to his quills.

"I hope you keep going on your journey, my little angel."

"Yeah. I hope you get better, mom. Is it strange that I called you mom, but I already have a mom?" Sonic is wondering why he considers having 2 mothers and a father.

"It's okay. You can call me Auntie Meg." Meg thought of it, so it makes it less confusing for Sonic to address her as such.

Sonic then walks backwards and smiles with his friends.

"Then, Auntie Meg, when will we meet again?" Tania asked.

"Anytime you want." Meg nods while letting Sonic and his friends leave onto the Tornado.

Sonic stops as he hands over his glasses to Meg and lets her hold it.

"If you don't want to forget about me." Sonic shows Meg his name Nicky on one side and Sonic on the other, even showing a mark that is a silhouette of his head, making Meg gasp and smile as tears are coming out.

"Of course. I'll never forget about you." Meg wipes her tears and pushes herself up while holding the crutches.

"See ya, Auntie Meg." Sonic salutes as he waves.

"Yeah. Safe journeys, Nicky. You and your friends." Meg nods while bidding him and his friends farewell.

"Who says anything about safe? I live for dangers." Sonic chuckles with a grin and hop onto the wing of a Tornado.

"Onward, to Westside Island!" Tania shouts as she points.

"Alright, let's go!" Tails starts the Tornado as the plane lifts itself off, flying away from the G.U.N. base.

Meg waves as she can see Sonic moving forward as he finally becomes the real Sonic the Hedgehog that she wanted to see.

Westside Island, Emerald Town

Cheers are coming from below as they celebrate a welcome back to Sonic and his friends.

With the Tornado landing, Mighty and Ray dived on Sonic as Sonic himself exclaimed, even Johnny which led him to fall.

Tails is approached by his classmates as they're excited to hear what Tails did on his adventures and was also approached by Sally and Bunnie as they discussed.

Amy and Tekno are giggling while chatting as well as Sally and Bunnie, even Nicole arrives with a parasol above her.

As for Tania, she gasps as she sees Elias and Megan appearing, leading to Tania and Megan hugging each other and Elias rubbing Tania's head.

Approaching Sonic and Amy is Breezie, clapping for their performance, only for her to gasp that her old teacher, Miss Wing, is walking and welcoming Breezie back.

This makes Breezie realise that even her teacher is waiting for her to return, causing her to tear up as she sobs and runs towards Miss Wing and embraces her.

Sonic and Amy nod to Miss Wing, even though Miss Wing is glad to see more of her students returning.

Mighty wraps his arms around Sonic and Amy as he laughs as well as Ray, Tania and Breezie as they finally find each other as Hedgehog Town's school kids.

"Are you happy that your children are getting along?" Queen Alicia asks while turning towards Rosemary.

"Yeah. Because they're children and they desire adventure and friendship. Reminds me of the two of us." Said Rosemary.

"Yeah. I hope Miles and Sally make more friends outside."

"I'm sure they will."

As the queen and a commoner hit each other's glass of wine, the duo are able to rekindle the old friendship they lost a while ago.

"Hey. How about we hand over a cake to them?" King Nigel suggests while wrapping his arms around Alicia and Rosemary.

Rosemary stands up and gets the thing out of her garage.

While a group of friends are introducing themselves to one another, they halt as Rosemary whistles and drags a large cake that shows a checkered sponge and different colour icing.

"A toast to our saviours of earth! For Team Sonic!" Rosemary calls with excitement filled within her as she raises her glass of wine.

"For Team Sonic!" The civilisation of Westside Island cheers as they raise different foods and drinks.

"FOR TEAM SONIC!" Amy and Tania cheer as they raise their arms with excitement.

Tails laughs as Sonic chuckles and then jumps as the crowd cheers.

This is the end of their beginning and a new beginning of their journey.

Angel Island, Marble Garden

Cleaning up the remaining things that were already fixed by the chaos emeralds, Knuckles stops as he sees a different mural that appears to be a water demon that causes destruction to the human continent.

Knuckles can tell it's another prediction, but is willing to ignore it as he continues Cleaning up Angel Island with the help of his actual animal friends.

With the chaos emeralds gone, maybe there's a future ahead.

Outside in the middle of nowhere, Eggman is on a Rexon floatie while writing a note down on his notebook in the seas.

"Note to self: Never go full power hungry unless your enemy is at his lowest. Great," Eggman groaned while looking for a way to the surface.

What catches Eggman's attention is a familiar jerboa man with messier fur all over his body and lacks the hat he wears.

"Fang?"

"Boss!? Boss! Oh thank goodness! I thought I'll never see you again after 4 months!" Fang is overjoyed that he has found someone that's there to rescue him.

"4 months!? It's been 4 days since you're absent!" Eggman snapped.

"4 days? I didn't know." Fang realised that being beaten by the Prower family is one way to be humiliated by.

As Eggman climbs onto Fangs's raft, he reveals a couple of canoe sticks as he wants Fang to help him.

"We're getting out of this place and we'll find shelter! Now hurry up! Put your back into it!" Eggman orders as Fang grunts while he and Eggman push their canoe rafts while moving slowly.

"So, what happened to Lien-Da and Stone?" Fang asked.

"Agent Stone is in for a treatment at the medic and Lien-Da needs therapy." Eggman answers while pushing the raft.

"Oh. So basically…"

"Sonic has beaten us. Now I need a new plan when I get back, now keep going!" Eggman snaps as he finds Fang stop moving.

"Oh! Right!" Fang forgot that he's supposed to push the raft with Eggman.

In the end, the Eggman Empire is defeated, but will be back as Eggman and Fang are the only ones left that'll reach land eventually.

Little Planet

In a high tech world where plant life is inhabited, it's all in the form of a good future that was affected by the time stones Sonic used months ago.

Walking in a cloak while fresh in his true form, Mecha Sonic stands in front of a fellow robot hedgehog that is sitting on a throne looking structure, making him raise his hand and feel Metal Sonic's face.

"I've come to collect you, big brother." Mecha Sonic refers to Metal Sonic as his older brother due to being made and launched after Metal Sonic.

"So this beastly machine is your brother. Mobians sure are strange." A woman's voice calls as Mecha Sonic turns around with his cloak blowing, revealing his mechanical body. "Ah. I stand corrected. So this is Metal Sonic, is it not?"

"Indeed he is. Metal belongs to earth, so I come here to bring him back." Mecha Sonic points out, making the plant woman curious.

"Originally, it was used as a trophy for my kind to obtain, but since this thing is your brother, I'll let you have it." The woman let's Mecha Sonic take Metal Sonic as a way to bring him back to earth.

"Thank you very much, Earthia."

Earthia halts after hearing what Mecha Sonic said.

"How did you know my name?" Earthia asked.

"I have researched your life as you have a history with an echidna named Lien-Da 4000 years ago." Said Mecha Sonic.

"You mean that red mobian in black clothes? Indeed, she's there for the time stones to move forward in time. Why do you ask?"

"It was just curiosity. What is your view towards earth?"

"It's alien to us. You mobians refer us to seedrians, considering we have no mention of that on our database. And yet you refer to yourselves as animals, even though animals are small and precious like this one." Earthia raises a squirrel, Ricky, while explaining the term of a species.

"Then what do you refer to as your kind?" Mecha Sonic asked.

"We are plant beings, different from you beasts." Earthia answers the question as she turns away from Mecha Sonic. "Return to your planet, mechanical mobian."

"Indeed I will, seedrian Earthia." Mecha Sonic walks away with Metal Sonic's body and climbs onto a spaceship.

As Mecha and Metal leaves, Earthia is seeing earth from the blue sky, realising that the future is becoming more grim.
