The air is thick with the smell of rust and decay as Jotaro, Red Hood, and Batgirl step into the dimly lit factory. The old facility is one of the countless forgotten relics in Gotham, once a place of industry but now reduced to little more than a crumbling ruin. Their footsteps echo faintly as they move deeper into the belly of the building, their senses sharp, anticipating what they know is lurking ahead.

Red Hood (grumbling): "I swear, every time we go after one of these lowlifes, it's in some rundown dump like this. What is it with Gotham's freaks and factories?"

Batgirl (with a half-smile): "It's Gotham. Everything's a rundown dump at this point."

Jotaro, ever the stoic, remains silent as he scans the shadows. Star Platinum hovers invisibly behind him, always ready to act. The further they venture inside, the more they notice an unsettling quiet settling around them. It's too quiet—no creaking metal, no scurrying rats. Just... stillness.

Suddenly, a sound breaks through the silence, a wet, sloshing noise from the darkness ahead. Batgirl stops in her tracks, her eyes narrowing as she peers into the gloom.

Batgirl (whispering): "Something's moving. Be ready."

Red Hood (reaching for his guns): "Let's see what we're dealing with."

As they move forward, the sloshing noise grows louder, more pronounced, until it becomes clear that it's not just something moving—it's something big. A moment later, a towering, grotesque figure emerges from the shadows, its form shifting and writhing like mud barely holding itself together.

Clayface: "Well, well... look who's come to visit. A couple of bats and the exchange student."

The creature's voice is a deep, gurgling growl as it steps into the flickering light. Clayface's body is a mass of shifting clay, his hulking form constantly morphing and twisting. His grotesque, muddy features leer at the trio as he flexes his massive hands, his body rippling with power.

Jotaro (coldly): "Stand aside. We don't have time for your games."

Clayface (mockingly): "Oh, tough guy, huh? You think you can just waltz in here and give me orders?"

With a malicious grin, Clayface shifts his body, growing taller and more menacing, his clay dripping from his massive limbs. The factory walls seem to tremble as his body expands, filling the room with his presence.

Red Hood (aiming his guns): "We're not here for you, Basil. Take a hike, or I'll put a hole in that ugly face of yours."

Clayface chuckles darkly, his laughter a deep rumble that vibrates through the floor.

Clayface (tauntingly): "You can try, Jason, but bullets don't work so well on clay."

Without warning, Clayface lunges forward, his massive arms sweeping across the room in a wide arc. Jotaro, Red Hood, and Batgirl leap back in unison, narrowly avoiding the sludge-like appendages. Clayface's attack crashes into the wall behind them, leaving a mess of clay splattered across the concrete.

Jotaro (gritting his teeth): "Star Platinum!"

In an instant, Star Platinum manifests behind Jotaro, its powerful fists lashing out with blinding speed. A barrage of punches pummel into Clayface's body, sending ripples through the villain's clay form. The blows are enough to stagger Clayface momentarily, his massive body recoiling from the force.

Star Platinum: "ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!"

Clayface stumbles back, his body reforming as the holes from Star Platinum's attack begin to close. But Jotaro doesn't let up, pressing the assault with another flurry of rapid punches. However, Clayface's malleable form makes it difficult for the punches to land with full effect.

Clayface (laughing, reconstituting himself): "That tickled! You're gonna have to do better than that!"

As Clayface rears back to retaliate, Batgirl moves swiftly, tossing several explosive Batarangs into his shifting mass. They explode on impact, sending chunks of clay flying in all directions. Red Hood adds to the assault, firing incendiary rounds that ignite patches of Clayface's body, causing him to scream in pain as parts of him harden and sizzle.

Red Hood (grinning): "How about a little fire to dry you out, huh?"

Clayface howls in anger, his body shifting violently as he attempts to extinguish the flames. His clay form ripples and reforms, but the attacks are beginning to take their toll. Despite his power, he's being overwhelmed by the coordinated assault.

Clayface (snarling, struggling to reform): "You think you can stop me?! I'll crush you all!"

But before Clayface can launch another attack, Jotaro's voice cuts through the chaos, calm and resolute.

Jotaro (deadly serious): "Star Platinum… The World!"

Time freezes as Star Platinum activates its ability. In the stillness, Jotaro calmly strides forward, observing the suspended Clayface, his grotesque features twisted in rage. Star Platinum moves next to Jotaro, its fists poised. Jotaro focuses his attention on a key weak spot in Clayface's shifting mass, where the clay is thinnest.

Jotaro (in the frozen moment, coldly): "This ends now."

With a burst of force, Star Platinum delivers a series of devastating punches to the weak spot. The concentrated blows hit with such precision that the clay in that area begins to crumble and fracture, unable to hold itself together.

As time resumes, Clayface lets out a pained roar, his body collapsing into a disorganized, molten heap as the trio's combined efforts overwhelm him. Clayface slithers away, having accepted his soundly defeat.

Batgirl (panting slightly, surveying the damage): "Nice work. We won't have to worry about him for a while."

Red Hood (holstering his guns, looking at Jotaro): "I've gotta admit, Kujo, that Stand of yours packs a hell of a punch."

Jotaro (nodding slightly): "We don't have time to celebrate. If Clayface was here, it means we're getting closer to Grodd."

Batgirl (checking the scene): "Agreed. Let's move before anyone else shows up."

With Clayface dispatched, the trio wastes no time. They quickly leave the factory, knowing that the Grodd's twisted game was far from over—and they were running out of time.
