Ichigo POV

As John and I walked towards his house in silence Ichigo wondered, "What the hell happened to John for him to be beating himself up like this over self-defense? I mean he went overboard but then again he was raised around... this. He needs time to calm down before I can talk to him.

Then I noticed that John stopped so did I then he threw his backpack in frustration.

"John!" The voice that called out surprised me since it was Seraphina's and I saw her walk and pick up John's backpack before John collapsed.

Seraphina was surprised by John's actions and rushed towards him to calling out his name.

John then said to Seraphina, "Sera... please...please don't look at me."

After a minute Seraphina looked at me with a look telling me that I better explain.

I sighed and grabbed John by the shoulder and helped him inside and laid him on the couch.

Seraphina then called Ellain to come over not really telling her why.

A While Later

It was pretty quite until Seraphina got a cup of ice water and pressed the cup of water on the back of John's neck shocking the crap out of him.

"Holy shit, cold!" John screamed before reeling in pain.

John then looked at Seraphina and said, "Hey, can't you see that I'm injured."

Seraphina stared at John and said, "It's alright. Elaine will be here soon anyway." as she drank from the cup of water she had then offered it to John.

I raised an eyebrow as John took the water and drunk from it and thought, "How close are these two?"

"So... what happened out there?" Seraphina asked John and who looked a little surprised.

"Well, it's exactly what you'd expect, right? The school Ace leaves and everyone attacks her crippled friends." John said.

"No.That's not what I was asking about." Seraphina started staring at John and glancing at me.

"I've never seen you breakdown like that before. After two weeks the first thing you say to me is don't look at me. Thats not okay!" Seraphina continued clearly worried about John.

John tried to change the subject but Seraphina wasn't having it.

John then said, "I had enough of the bullying. But it's fine now that you're back. Things can go back to normal."

This shocked Seraphina before she looked at me and I sighed and said, "After you left, the majority of the school started picking on us. Then there was this incident that made things go from bad to worse."

Seraphina raised an eyebrow and asked , "What incident?" and now John was glaring at me behind Seraphina's back.

I sighed again and said, "I saw John get pushed down in the hall, he looked paranoid. Then Remi tried to help him but John snapped and slapped her hands away and screamed at her."

"You slapped and yelled at Remi?" Seraphina asked a little shocked as she looked at John as John looked away.

I continued, "After John realized what he did he tried to apologize but Blyke was pissed about what he saw and fired a beam at John's head."

"Blyke shot at you?!" Seraphina shouted surprised and a little mad that Blyke would shoot at John.

"Luckily John managed to dodge it but Blyke grabbed John so I stepped in and punched Blyke in the face and told him off, but as Blyke was thinking about what I said, Remi decided she wanted to leave and had Blyke follow her. After that higher-tiers then normal would attack us out of spite." I finished before I was interrupted again.

Seraphina was pinching her nose and sighed and asked John, "Why didn't you tell me?"

John looked down and said, "I felt ashamed at myself for loosing my cool like that."

"John is one hell of an actor." Ichigo thought as he saw Seraphina sigh again.

Then there was a knock on the door and Seraphina said, "That's probably Elaine."

Seraphina walked out the front door and John sat up and glared at me so I asked, "What?"

This caused John to sighed as I guess he let it go, then Elaine walked in and shouted, "What re you two doing here?!"

John answered, "Bitch, I live here."

I decided to greet her, "Hey Elaine."

3rd POV

Soon Elaine went to heal John while berating him and Seraphina went to another room to put her stuff away.

Soon though Elaine realised what had happened and started to say, "That's impossi..." but was stopped by John who grabbed Elaine mouth and told her to shut up as his eyes glowed.

Elaine tried to nod her head causing Ichigo to sigh and grab John's arm with his only good one.

"John let her go, I think she got the message." Ichigo said as he let go of John's arm.

John let go of Elaine and said, "Get out." making Elaine rush out the door.

Ichigo sighed and said, "I'll walk her home." before following after her as John healed himself.

Outside the House

As Ichigo made his way out he saw Elaine breathing heavily and looking like she was having a panic attack.

Ichigo walked up behind her and touched her shoulder causing her to scream.

When Elaine looked back she saw Ichigo who waved at her and asked, "Mind if I walk you home?"

"Like I have a choice." Elaine muttered in panic.

A Little While Later

"So Elaine, how long have you known John and Seraphina?" Ichigo asked after walking with Elaine in silence for a while.

"Since the beginning of the school year, last year." Elaine answered after calming down a little since Ichigo wasn't threatening her.

"I see, um, you can heal people?" Ichigo asked awkwardly.

"Yes." Elaine answered plainly.

Elaine then asked, "Do you have an ability to?"

Ichigo scratched the back of his head and said, "Yeah, but if you want more details I suggest you ask Arlo."

"Arlo knows? Did you hurt him as well!?" Elaine shouted a little mad.

Ichigo blinked and said, "Yes, but he had it coming."

Elaine huffed and started walking faster towards Wellston dorms making Ichigo run to catch up as he shoutes, "Hey, wait up!"

When the two were in front of Wellston dorms Elaine said, "You can leave now, I don't want anyone thinking I'm hanging out with a cripple."

"Oh, okay, but before that do you think you can fix my arm?" Ichigo asked getting a sigh of annoyance out of Elaine who just healed his arm and left.

"Thanks Elaine!" Ichigo shouted as he waved at her and walked back to John's place to sleep since it was starting to get dark.

Next Day

Ichigo was walking around the school after some classes and was hearing rumors about Arlo being hurt early in the morning.

As I was walking I saw Remi in an empty hallway and called out to her, "Hey, Remi."

This got Remi's attention as she looked at Ichigo and waved at him with a smile and said, "Hi Ichigo, what are you doing?"

"Just walking between classes what about you?" Ichigo asked back as he caught up to her.

"Oh, I need to speak to Cecile... the head of the press." Remi said and explained who Cecile is.

"We have a newspaper at school?" Ichigo asked confused causing Remi to laugh.

"Yeah, Isen is one of the best writers for the papers." Remi said.

"So he wasn't just lying to me about writing articles." Ichigo thought as him and Remi made it to the press room.

"Well, see you later Ichigo." Remi said as she was about to enter the press room.

"Uh, yeah see you later." Ichigo said with nod as Remi nodded back before entering the press room.

"Well, back to class." Ichigo thought as he walked back to class.

The Next Day After School

Ichigo and John walked home from school and soon arrived at John's place.

As John opened the door he said, "Hey Sera we're bac... What the f..."

"John, welcome back and who's your friend?" An older looking John? asked as Ichigo figured it was John's dad.

"D-dad, what are you doing here!" John shouted in panic.

Ichigo walked in front of John and held out his hand and said, "Ichigo."

The older man smiled and said, "William." as they both shook hands.

"Don't ignore me!" John yelled causing William to turn towards John.

"What, I can't visit my son." William said as he crossed his arms.

"You could have called!" John yelled only for William to explain that John had hung up on him last week and didn't answer any of his calls afterwards.

"Sera... Ichigo... can you give us a minute?" John said as he grabbed his dad's shoulder.

Ichigo nodded and Seraphina nodded and Seraphina said, "Looks like you need it."

"Come on dad." John said trying to drag his dad out the door only for William to complain as Seraphina gave a small smile.

As soon as John and William left through the front Ichigo looked at Seraphina and said, "You look happy."

"Well, it's nice seeing how well John gets along with his dad." Seraphina said.

"I'm guessing her relationship with her family isn't good." Ichigo thought.

"True, at least his dad ain't attacking him when he walks in through the door." Ichigo said with a smirk remembering his own father.

Seraphina raised an eyebrow and asked, "Did yours?"

"Yeah, he would attack me when I walked into the house or to wake me up in the morning saying it was training. Hell, I got so used to it I started throwing him out the house before any of his hits connected." Ichigo said with a sad smile.

"No offense but that sounds like a pain." Seraphina said as she crossed her arms with a smile on her face.

"Your telling me." Ichigo laughed a little that was until William and John walked back in the house.

John looked at the two before William asked, "What's so funny?" with a smile.

"Ichigo was talking about how his dad would try to surprise attack him for some training." Seraphina said.

"Really, maybe I should do that for our training? Right John." William said with a smile.

Only for John to say, "Don't even think about it!"

This caused William to laugh and Seraphina to chuckle.

"Anyways dad we have homework to do, so rest a bit as we get it done." John said as he made his way to the kitchen table.

Later that Night

William had just woken up from sleeping on the couch only to see his son still working on his homework.

"WTF, your still doing homework?" William said as he peeked over the couch.

John would complain about how the work was difficult and William would point out how Ichigo and Seraphina was already done.

This caused Seraphina to smirk as Ichigo shrugged.

Then William wanted to play cards and told John to do his homework in the morning something Seraphina thought William was cool for.

Soon enough the four of them sat at the Kitchen table with poker chips and cards playing New Texis Hold'em.

Ichigo for his part was trying to follow along but he barely played games let alone card games.

In the end Ichigo lost second Seraphina being first and after some rounds Seraphina left being extremely salty.

"So Ichigo what ability do you have?" William asked causing John to slam his hand on the table.

"Dad! I thought I asked you not to ask about abilities while you were here!?" John yelled making Ichigo 'Shhh' John motioning to the room where Seraphina went to sleep.

This caused John to huff and cross his arms ib frustration.

"John, I don't mind. Truth is I'm registered as a cripple, because my aura was taken away from me by someone else's ability. Luckily my aura has started to return slowly." Ichigo said

William hearing this frowned for a bit then smilled and said, "Well I'm happy for you but that still doesn't answer my question."

Ichigo scratched the back of his head and said, "Well I call it fullbring and it involves me pushing my aura into objects to change there properties."

"I thought you controlled wind?" John asked confused.

"If I put my aura into the wind I can manipulate it."

"Wow, sounds powerful." William said with a smirk.

"Yes, but in all honesty it's nothing to brag about, after all Seraphina can control time to an extant." Ichigo said gesturing his thumb to were Seraphina was sleeping.

"Geeze, talk about over kill." William muttered.

John sighed and said he was going to bed and Ichigo and William agreed to do the same.
