Ever since Keigo got assaulted, he barely talked. And when he did, it was only to Enji.

He didn't go to school and he didn't go back to the commission. He stayed with Enji at the Todoroki estate.

Keigo wouldn't say anything about what happened other than the fact that the pain that was inflicted on him was against his will.

He wouldn't say who did it or why he was there.

But Enji was a hero. And a damn good one. He was going to be an official pro in a few months, and finding the bastard that did that to Keigo was more than enough to prove he was worth it.

Little did he know, the man that he was searching for was one of the top 10 heroes.

"So you still don't wanna tell me?" Enji asks Keigo as he hangs up his hero costume.

"No..." Keigo murmurs.

Enji sighs, "Fine,"

He goes to his bed where Keigo is sitting with his knees to his chest and his large wings wrapped around his small, frail body, and sits on its edge.

"You take a shower yet?" Enji asks.

"I took one earlier..." Keigo breathes.

"Alright," Enji sighs, ruffling Keigo's hair before standing.

"Hey, Todoroki-senpai?" Keigo calls out, his voice reaching a volume that it hasn't reached in almost a month.

"Yeah?"

"T-thank you..." Keigo sniffs, tears filling his tired eyes.

"Hey..." Enji breathes, going over to Keigo and pulling him onto his lap, cradling the boy. "Shh... it's okay..."

Keigo sobs in Enji's arms for a moment before Enji speaks again.

"Of course. Like I said that day... I like you, Takami. That won't ever change..."

Keigo looks up at Enji, his watering eyes making it hard to guide his lips to Enji's.

The kiss was gentle but passionate. Enji knew that it probably wouldn't matter if he became Keigo's boyfriend, but hell, Keigo was living with him.

He was sleeping in his bed, wore his clothes (even though he was his own in one of Enji's drawers), and they've made out almost every day since they've been living with each other.

"Keigo," Enji breathes as he kisses his way down to Keigo's neck.

"Mm?" Keigo hums/moans while tilting his head back.

"Do you wanna-" Enji begins before giving a long suck on Keigo's neck, letting the skin pop out of his mouth once he was sure it had made a mark. "Be my boyfriend?"

Keigo nodded in response, pulling Enji back into a kiss.

Keigo managed to move his position to straddle Enji's lap.

As the kisses were getting more intense, the panting and moans growing louder, and the amount of clothes on their bodies decreased, Keigo's wings were creating small but powerful gusts of air.

"Fuck-" Enji groans as Keigo started kissing down his bare chest.

Just as the two boys were about to take the next step in their special activity, someone walked in.

"Enji, are you in- Oh God!" Enji's mother starts before immediately walking back out.

"Fuck! Mom! Why didn't you knock?!" Enij shouts.

"Sorry! I didn't think I would walk in on... that!" she yells from the other side of the door.

"Well, you did! God! Now, go away!" Enji demands.

Then, to make things worse, there was another voice.

"Honey? Are you cock-blocking our son?" Enji's father yells from the end of the hall.

Enji almost lost it then. The fire was rising off of his chest and shoulders, his eyes glaring at the door.

Just as Enji was about to throw open his bedroom door, a sound that Enji hadn't heard in what felt like years filled the room.

Keigo was laughing.

Truly, genuinely laughing.

"Hey, Mr. Flame-y Pants, you grew a mustache~" Keigo giggles.

Enji's eyes were wide when he turned to face Keigo, his stomach filling with butterflies.

"Kei- y-you laughed..." Enji breathes in disbelief.

"I guess I did," Keigo shrugs. "But who wouldn't? You grew a flame beard before a real one~"

"I can grow a beard, it's just mandatory to be clean-shaved," Enji growls.

"Mhn, sure Mr. Flame-y Pants~" Keigo smirks.

"I really don't wanna kill my boyfriend, so shut up before I make you." Enji scowls.

"But I'm depressed~" Keigo pouts.

"Obviously not anymore!" Enji accuses.

"Nope, still am~" Keigo smirks. "My boyfriend just took some of the effects away,"

Keigo laid his head on Enji's warm chest, nuzzling and sighing.

"Hey, Enji?"

"Mhn?" Enji exhaled, relief washing over his body when Keigo hugged his waist, his short arms barely making it around.

Enji brushes through Keigo's blonde locks, kissing his forehead and making Keigo smile.

"I'm proud of you,"

"Hm? Where'd that come from?"

"You're gonna go pro soon," Keigo clarifies. "Since I chose to go to high school, the deal was I had to finish it out. I can't become an official pro til I graduate."

"Aren't you already a pro?" Enji questions, moving so they'd both be lying on his bed the correct way.

"Well, yeah-" Keigo scoffs. "But the deal for coming to UA was to give up my license and earn it back once I graduate."

"That's fucked up," Enji points out.

"It was worth it," Keigo smiles. "I met you~"

"Damn right," Enji smirks, kissing Keigo's head. "But, hey... you've got me here for a few more months."

"And?" Keigo questions.

"Just saying you might want to take of that time,"

"You're unbelievable-" Keigo groans.

It has been six years since Enji Todoroki graduated from UA and became a pro hero.

He's 25 years of age whilst Keigo is 22.

Enji is pro hero Endeavor: the flame hero.

Keigo is pro hero Hawks: the winged hero.

Though Keigo has more fans, both heroes are almost as equally popular.

Enji has been shooting for No.1 but keeps missing it every year. He's rated No.2 and Keigo is right behind him as No.3 (most from popularity ratings).

Enji and Keigo have drifted apart and are not in an ongoing relationship with each other.

In other words: they're on a break.

They don't talk under any circumstance other than work and the occasional hookup.

Keigo still, to this day, hasn't told Enji who did all of those horrible things to him, which was one of the reasons they broke it off.

Keigo was scared and didn't want anything to go down in his name. The commission already gave him shit for dating Enji who was only 3 years older than him. Imagine what they'd say if they found out he was fucking a hero that was at least 20 years older.

That topic stayed dormant until the day that Keigo was reunited with his long-lost abuser.

"Yo, Hawks!" a girl with rabbit ears called out to the boy with wings.

"Yo, Mirko!" Keigo smiles. "Long time no see~"

"I know, right? I see your agency is making a name for itself,"

"Of course it is, it's my agency after all," Keigo smirks. "But hey, so is yours, I hear~"

"Heh, yeah, we get on well," Rumi nods.

"That's good to hear," Keigo smiles.

As Rumi and Keigo talk, someone is listening to every word since one of the heroes forgot to turn off their mic.

News flash: it was Keigo.

"So... Anything new with Todoroki-senpai?" Rumi finally asks.

"I should've known that was coming..." Keigo sighs. "Enji is still refusing to accept that there are some things I won't ever tell him. And he thinks it's because I don't trust him, but I trust him with my life."

"So... the issue is?" Rumi questions, her being in close enough proximity to be heard through Keigo's mic.

Shit... I should turn this off. Enji thinks.

"I'm scared..." Keigo says quietly, making Enji's hand fall away from his earpiece.

Everyone normally takes off their radios when they come back to their agencies, so Enji was the only one listening to this private conversation.

"You're scared?" Rumi questions quietly.

"I know Enji loves me just as much as I love him, which is why I'm scared if I tell him who did all that stuff to me, he'll do something he'll regret."

"Are you sure he'd still act on it? I mean, that happened so long ago," Rumi points out.

Keigo chuckles, "If there's one thing I've learned about Enji, it's that his anger builds. Especially when it comes to this. This is one of the reasons we drifted apart, and I know he hates it as much as I do."

As Enji was listening, he decided to do something to make it seem like he wasn't occupied by listening to his ex-boyfriend's conversation with his best friend.

"I mean, it can't be that bad. You still each other all the time," Rumi adds.

"Hero work doesn't count, Rumi, and you know it," Keigo says flatly.

"That's not what I mean," Rumi sighs. "Don't you guys still..." there was a pause followed by a whispered word that made Enji blush and spit out his freshly made coffee.

"Fuck?"

"RUMI!" Keigo exclaims.

"What? It's really obvious when it happens. You guys stare at each other like there's no one else in the world," Rumi shrugs. "If anything, Todoroki-senpai is the one who stares the most,"

"Really? I never noticed..." Keigo blushes.

"I can't believe your fan girls haven't found out you're gay yet," Rumi chuckles. "You're as gay as they come."

Though Enji wasn't there to witness it, he knew his immature ex was smirking at the word choice of his friend.

"Don't give me that look," Rumi growls. "You know that's not what I meant."

"Heh~" Keigo smirks. "You walked right into it though~"

Right as Rumi was about to give Keigo a piece of her mind, there was a call that there was a large and highly dangerous villain attack that needed as many heroes as could get to that area. So Hawks, Mirko, Endeavor, and many other heroes rushed over to the scene. But there was one hero in particular that would change everything about this case...

And not for the good.
