"Okay let's see Cleo Nefertiti and Tanya Sealy, welcome to the Ant-Hill" Hank Pym said, a smile on his face as he lead the girls to their cells, which was nearby their friend Rachel, who looked up in alarm. Capt noticed this and nodded to Falcon
"We won't be here long" Black Mamba said a cocky smile on her face
"That's what we said" Cletus snarled
"And don't worry you won't be either" Asp said as she sat down, once she was in her cell she pressed the button on a bracelet she was wearing sending out a signal allowing Sidewinder to track them.
"Either way please enjoy the facility" Hank said while the heroes were leaving.
"I don't know what you're up to Tanya, but it is not going to work, even with whatever you have planned" Rachael snapped
"Shows what you know" Asp scoffed.
"Shut it Cleo" Rachael grunted as she sat in her cell.
"I have located them" Ultron called out
"Where?" Doom asked
"Over the school, Ultra Alliance heights, aka UA High" Ultron said "I will get inside its computers before
"Now then, with these coordinates, even that wizard should get into the ship" MODOK told them
"Watch it!" Mordo frowned making the portal.
"Sidewinder are you ready?" Doom asked
"I am" Sidewinder nodded as he threw his guns into his holster before he slipped on a pair of shades.
"Then go and get our men back" Dr Doom ordered.
"Yes sir" Sidewinder said walking through the portal. Once he was on board he pulled out a gun and loaded it.
Hank was working on something when he saw that the intruder alert flashed on, he frowned and checked the cameras of the ant-hill and it showed nothing.
"Must have been a blip on the sensor" Hank frowned
"Oh it could not have been" a voice smoothly said from behind him. "Greetings Dr Pym; nice to meet you"
"Seth Voelker" Hank frowned "How did you get on board?" he asked
"Oh nothing like having a tracking device on board to and a magician" Sidewinder smiled. "Now then, move it" he ordered
"Why are you doing this?" Hank asked
"Oh, just getting those you have held captive" Sidewinder told him. "Now open the cells and leads them to their gear and symbiotes" Sidewinder ordered
"And if I don't" Hank growled before he felt a gun pressed "So why are you doing this?" he asked as he was lead off
"Simple, things are going down soon and that means Doom wants everyone. So where is Sterns?" Sidewinder inquired
"Classified" Hank said.
"But he is here in the Ant-Hill right?" Sidewinder asked
"Classified" Hank growled as he reached to his waist
"Don't even think of it!" Sidewinder snapped as he opened the doors as Doom's soldiers had walked out of their cells.
"We're free" Cletus gleefully shouted
"Finally" Tayna smiled
"Oh no" Rachel frowned,
"Ah ladies and Gentleman, please follow Dr Pym to the armour and get dressed" Sidewinder instructed
"Yes sir" they all said
"I'm going to pluck your eyes out" Cletus smiled in a sick manner
"We need him to get us to Sterns" Sidewinder said
"Well I'm not helping you" Hank snarled.
"Hank?" Wasp asked as she walked in
"JAN!" he shouted
"What's going on?" Wasp asked
"We're staging a breakout" Sidewinder said "And I know you have come here to help me" Sideiwnder smiled.
"Jan?" Hank asked as he looked back to see his wife replaced by a woman in a dark catsuit with a golden mask on "MADAM MASQUE!" Hank exclaimed "WHERE'S JAN!" he shouted
"Out of the way" Madam Masque commented snidely
"Have you located Sterns?" Sidewinder asked
"He's in another section of the helicarrier" Masque said
"Good, once we secure him, then we'll be on our way;" Sidewinder smiled "after Carnage gets Pym's eyes" he added on making Carnage smirk
"That's messed up" Black Mamba said
"Agreed" the other Serpents said
"You're blot going to get out of here or off the helicarrier with Sterns, or your freedom!" Hank growled
"Oh please Mr Pym, what do you think you're going to do?" Asp asked
"Its not shrinking you have to worry about" Hank said as he pressed the button on the left, making him grow.
"WHAT THE!" Diamondback shouted as a big fist was brought down near Sidewinder, only crushing Carnage and Scream
"Damn, we didn't think of this, come on!" Sidewinder shouted as they all raced out,
"Damn it!" Pym shouted as he sent out a distress signal.
"So what now, we've escaped but the symbiotes were left behind" Asp panted
"Our main target is Sterns!" Masque snapped
"Indeed, so where are they keeping him?" Sidewinder asked
"This way" Masque said as the ran off, only for her to go flying back.
"What?" Sidewinder asked turning around, only to see
"Sup" Luke said as he cracked his knuckles. Diamondback started to walk back to the Ant-Hill
"Where are you going?" the other two asked
"Back to jail, I am not getting my ASS KICKED BY LUKE CAGE!" Diamondback shouted "I babysat his daughter!"
"You did?" Asp asked
"It was during a mission with Capt" Luke said as he grabbed Sidewinders' revolver and crushed it, letting the ball of what was a gun hit to the floor.
"Oh" Black Mamba said using her Darkforce ability to tie up Luke Cage, only to have him break out and frown as he stalked forward. Sidewinder pulled out a blade and swung it at Luke; the man stepping back with each swing.,
"Find Sterns!" Sidewinder shouted
"Yes sir" The Serpents said as Masque got up and wiped her nose.
"Masque, lead them to Sterns" Sidewinder said as he was used as a punching bag by Luke.
"Yes sir" Masque said
"I always hate that you have indestructible skin " Sidewinder said
"This is going to be tough" Diamondback said as she was dragged along.
"Why do they need Sterns?" Diamondback asked
"He has intel on Doom's plan, that he doesn't want out" Asp told her,
"No way" Diamondback gasped "He knows about Doom's pan?"
"We're not sure, but we need him out of the hands of the heroes." Black Mamba said
"So how did they get him?" Diamondback asked
"He was brought in when he asked for help from the heroes themselves" Black Mamba said
"Wait" Masque said holding her hand up.
"What is it?" Diamondback asked
"Something's not right" Masque said
"Alert, Alert, Alert" several blue and white looking Ironman like androids appeared and aimed at them
"What is that?" Diamonback asked
"Mandroids" Asp gasped
"Oh great, and where they are, that means" Masque said
"Evening ladies;" Iron Man said as he landed as he held his hands up repulsor charging. "Missing something?"
"Oh crap" they all groaned.
Luke was busy throwing around Sidewinder that he didn't see that Carnage had walked out and was behind him
"Time to die" the symbiote user chuckled and formed a blade with his symbiote and ran at Luke, going to stab him in the back, only to have his blade harmlessly platter against his back. Growling Luke turned to Carnage who looked at his arm and then at Luke. "Mercy?" he asked
"Nope" Luke said as he punched the symbiote user in the chest, making a large dent appear.
"Damn" Sidewinder said worried as he went for a special pouch, "I was going to save these for Wolverine, but I guess I'll have to use them now" he muttered as he reloaded his revolver with special ammo made out of adamantium. Once the cylinder was filled he pulled the hammer back and aimed at Luke, but was interrupted by the fact Carnage was used as a flail against him.
"Ow" Carnage groaned
"I should have fired through you " Sidewinder growled
"PISS OFF BASTARD!" Carnage shouted
"What did you call me?" Sidewinder asked annoyed
"BASTARD!" Carnage snapped.
"That's the gratitude I get after freeing you?" Sidewinder asked.
"Great Iron Man" Diamondback growled
"What are you doing here?" Masque asked
"I am an Avenger and this is the Liberator, in other words you're stepping on MY Turf!" Ironman said blasting the four villainesses away. 'I have to keep them away from that otherwise, who knows what will happen, especially if Crimson Dynamo figures it out' Ironman panicked 'But for now it seems like they're here for Sterns'
"Lord Doom, we require back up" Masque said over a communicator
"Aww running scared are we?" Ironman asked mockingly as two massive villains walked out of the portal. 'And it just had to be these two' Ironman frowned as he saw Abomination and Crimson Dynamo before it
"Ah Stark" a voice said shocking Ironman
"Wenwu!" Ironman gasped
"It is good to see you again" Wenwu said
"They sent the Mandarin?' Diamondback asked
"you two deal with Ironman, Ladies please head back to the base" Wenwu said
"Are you sure?" Masque asked
"I am, then I will get Sterns" The Mandarin nodded.
"Thank you sir" the girls said as the entered the portal
"No you don't!" Ironman shouted before he was blasted back by beams of red energy.
"This is the great Ironman, I will peel him like grape" Crimson Dynamo said
"Easy my friend. The Mandarin said "Blonsky the door" Mandrain said
"You got it" the massive green monster said as he ripped a door off and stepped back for Mandarin to walk into the room.
"NO!" Ironman rushed him, only to be knocked back by Crimson Dynamo.
Luke had grabbed Sidewinder in a headlock when the base shook
"What in the man of Lou's?" Luke asked
"Ah back up" Sidewinder said before he shot Luke in the room with one of the bullets, a loud scream of pain was ripped out of his throat
"Ada...Adamantium?" Luke asked
"Indeed, I had intended it to put down the Wolverine since the adamantium he would be slowed down.
"BASTARD! Luke shouted before he reared his fist back.
"Time for you to be put dow;" Sidewinder said only to have a disk of red, white and blue flew at his gut
"Voelker" Capt said as he walked up catching his shield
"Thanks cap" Luke said as he tried to get up, only to have a hand placed on his shoulder
"Stay down, I've got this" Capt said as he grabbed his shield on the rebound.
"You sure?" Luke asked.
"I am" Capt said as he cracked his shoulders and got into a fighting stance. Scoffing Sidewinder drew out a knife and quickly rushed in before trying to stab him, only to have the shield block them. Grabbing the arm Capt brought it down on his knees making Sidewinder letting go of the knife, and tried a shield attack, only Sidewinder acted fast and grabbed the shield and held it off.
"It's been awhile since I had to deal with a serpent" Capt said as he skidded back, trying to keep any SHIELD Agents away
"Indeed it has, but you know that I'm going to complete my mission" Sidewinder said only to hear the clattering of an object, which was a smoke grenade
"What?" the two warriors said before Sidewinder as punched in the jaw
"Seth Voelker" a gravely voice said
"Punisher" Sidewinder growled.
"COME HERE" Crimson Dynamo said as he picked up Ironman and threw him
"Blonsky, is that door opened yet?" The mandarin asked
"It is boss" Abomination said as the door to the holding area was wide open allowing the Mandarin to walk in a smile on his face quickly fading as he saw that the room was empty. He growled as he heard Iron Man's laugh
"Where is Sterns?" The Mandarin asked, his patience getting shorter then he would have liked.
"Did you really think we would be DUMB enough to hold him here?" Iron man asked as he fired a repulsor at him got up and blasted Crimson Dynamo. "This is Ironman they fell for the bait" Ironman called over the radio.
"Why you?" Mandarin growled
"I'm guessing that you got the location from our networks, or rather MODOK and Ultron did" Ironman smirked.
"That was you?" Abomination asked shocked
"Oh yeah, we were leading you into a trap, and thanks by the way since we now know where your base is" Ironman laughed; "oh hi Rhodey" Ironman commented
"You good Toy?" War Machine asked as he walked in with his guns at full ammo
"Oh yeah, you take Crimson I take Mandarin" Ironman said
"What about Abomination?" War Machine asked as he helped Ironman up
"Hulk?" Ironman asked
"Hulk" War Machine nodded before a great big green hand punched through the floor, grabbed Blonsky's ankle and pulled him through it
"Hey Emil" Hulk smirked as he smashed his fist into Abomination's face, then grabbed his gill like ears and pulled him into his knee, Hulk then grabbed Abomination's knee, and twisted it making a crack sound out.
"YOU GREEN BAS!" Abomination snarled only to be shut up by Hulk.
"One down" Hulk smirked before he was knocked back by a ring of blue energy, getting up Hulk was blasted by more rings forcing him to become Bruce again and pass out,
"BRUCE!" Ironman shouted as he fired at Mandarin, quickly forming a shield to block the repulsors from Ironman
"No more iron" Crimson Dynamo growled as he reared his fist back, only to have it caught by War Machine, who had trained his guns on Crimson Dynamo, firing at him, forcing the Russian duplicate of Ironman back. Using his big gun War Machine shredded the internal circuitry of the suit, making it fail. Mandarin saw this and opened a gate right where Crimson Dynamo was falling making him retreat back.
"Damn it" War Machine said
"Shame" Mandarin said using his ten ring to take down the two armour users, only when one went down at the other got back up
"You two are quite stubborn" Mandarin said told them as the rings floated around him before he gathered them in his arms and threw a punch knocking him back.
"This is not good" Ironman growled
"This is not quite what I had in store" Sidewinder muttered as he stood up and brushed his coat off, unaware that a red gloved fist was flying at him., acting quickly Sidewinder blocked the punch and threw one of his own into Capt's side, he grunted as he was feeling the punch followed up by a gun handle to the face
"Not bad Seth" Capt said wiping the blood off his chin and smirking as he rushed the member of the serpent society, who was dodging each blow until he thrust the knife
"Time to say goodbye Captain, you see that blade was covered in a snake venom hat will paralyse you, now it would kill a normal mane, but for you Captain it will only keep you don't for a couple of hours" Sidewinder smirked only to feel a hand grab him and threw him through the air. Getting up Sidewinder paled as Luke was standing before him, "Now Mr Cage, I'm sure we can be reasonable men and maybe cut a deal" Sidewinder said as he was grabbed by the Punisher
"Oh yeah I think we can" Luke said throwing a right hook into Sidewinder's ribs, then one to the other side, and he repeated it over and over again until Sidewinder was wobbling.
"Not bad" Capt said
"I felt those" Punisher muttered
"Hey cap you got pen and paper?" Luke asked
"Yeah I do" Capt said before pausing "Why?" as he looked at Frank curiously
"Oh just some overdo business" Luke smiled as he gratefully took it and wrote something down and strapped it to Sidewinder's shirt before a portal open and the snake was thrown through it.
Ironman was running low on power, but he knew he had to stop the Mandarin
"Gentleman, it has been an honour" Mandarin said as he blasted the two back with more of the ten rings until the portal opened behind him
"Yeah I don't think so" Ironman said as he fired the unibeam at the Mandarin knocking him away from the portal that Mordo made.
"So what do you think, sure we lost the symbiotes and the snakes; but we got Blonksy and Wenwu" War Machine said
"Yeah, let's get them down to the Ant-Hill asap" Rhodey said. "Doom is going to be so disappointed that two of his bug guns are going down to " War Mahcine said as he got out of the armour. Tony doing the same and stretching
"Too bad Sidewinder got away" Tony said
"Yeah, hopefully they can get Sterns to talk" Tony said
"So where are they keeping Sterns?" Rhodey asked
"Tartarus" Tony said.
"I see Abomination and Mandarin got captured" Doom scowled under his mask before Sidewinder was thrown in and skidded across the floor, rolling up on his back the villains frowned as they saw a piece of white paper on his chest.
"What is it?" Masque asked as Loki walked over and picked it up
"It's a bill" Loki said
"A bill?" Mordo asked confused.
"Addressed to our beloved leader from Heroes for Hire ltd, payment for a job; stopping a set of rogue Doombots" Loki read out
"What" Doom frowned
"Indeed" Loki said "Payment due $200 interest 5%, over due fee 2000 dollars, total amount 5000 USD" Loki read out
"WHAT!" Doom seethed "HE DARE CHARGE ME 5000 DOLLARS!"
"Apparently so" Loki stated.
"You charged Doom 5k?" Stark asked
"Hey, the man didn't pay me when I did the job for him, so why not charge him extra?" Luke laughed
"Indeed, that was a most interesting decision" Capt said as he winced
"The poison is still in your system and probably will for another hour" Luna said
"Thank you Mss Snow"
"No worries Captain" Luna smiled
"Man, I bet Doom popped a blood vessel" Thing laughed
"Now the only thing we need to do is to get Sterns' information on Doom's plans" Stark said
"And then we can properly form a countermeasure for chrome face" Luke said
"If only it could be that easy" Capt said.
G'day Guys Grizz here and that was the second part of the Brave New World inspired chapters featuring a breakout of villains, some great fights and believe it or not a cal back to something that actually happened in the comics...and yes it was the thing about Luke Cage being hired by Doom which happened back in the early days of the character, so I figured I would use that as a bit of fun in a heavy chapter as well as some other characters I haven't used in a while.
Now there will not be a new chapter next week as I'll be working on a christmas special and then it will be a lighthearted chapter due to how heavy I think the last couple has been before we get to go full throttle to the end in early 2025
