Parisii
Fuse
Finding the Eiffel Tower, I breathed a small sigh of relief as I made it to the capital of France.
Francois. What a terrible name. The French helped us in the Revolutionary War, so I assume the Francois did the same for the Unified Americans.
I won't destroy this city too badly, then…
Needing to figure out if Colette was here, I flew high into the air with my wings, getting ready to create a new spell.
Hopefully, my control rank is high enough for this…
You have created a new spell!
[Meteor - Using your own mana to create a meteorite above you, you can send a meteor at a target location. Size and power of the meteor will be decided by how much mana is put into the spell.]
Great! Now, I'm going to throw a meteor at Parisii.
If Colette is here, she'll break up the meteorite and I'll go in after her.
If she isn't here… Well, a small meteor from a few hundred miles from the sky shouldn't totally wreck the city, even with my Destructive perk.
I'll avoid the big landmarks, anyway.
Pointing up above me, I willed earth to form from nothing, creating a large, beautiful, round meteor.
Then, I flicked my finger down, sending it into the City of Love.
The meteor didn't do its signature flame as it was unleashed from above the clouds rather than breaking through the atmosphere, but it was still extremely noticeable as it fell from the sky.
I could already see the people of Parisii panic, running to any direction that would carry them, even before the destination of the meteor could be determined.
Some no-name mage tried to use their own magic to break apart their meteor, but they were too weak and only put small dents in it. Their only accomplishment being that they were able to hold up their gun in time.
I'm looking for someone stronger-
As the meteor is sliced into chunks by a beam of light, I eagerly followed the beam of light to its caster, who was standing in the middle of the street.
Colette

There she is… And she seems to have gotten a new class and title since last I saw her. Saint and the Hand of God. Likely the reason why she was able to unleash that beam of light.
Colette barely looked surprised as I sent a massive Soul Ballista her way, her light rending apart my attack of hundreds of souls.
"You monster," Colette said, her calm tone not matching her words, "You would really attempt to destroy a city of innocents just to find me?"
I shrugged, landing on the rooftop above her position on the street, "I wasn't going to destroy it, I do have some respect for France. They helped us during the Revolutionary War, after all, but…"
Throwing out my 3 Pokemon, I raised Biden, my AR-15, towards her, "Are they American?"
Colette flew into the air to dodge my bullets, but my Pokemon were ready to intercept as California sent a powerful thunderbolt her way as New York jumped on Texas, flying toward her.
Tanking the thunderbolt, Colette fired another massive beam of light into Texas, forcing it to dodge and lose half a wing in the process.
The Pseudo-legendary loses flight as New York jumps off his fallen comrade onto a bullet that was heading towards Colette.
Colette dodges the bullet, but not the fist that came with it.
As Colette stumbles into a predictable path, Biden tears her apart as my accuracy gets its act together.
But if Colette was able to be taken down by a single attack, she would hardly be considered an opponent.
I lost my footing as Colette used her telekinesis to bring up the building I was on around me, slightly trapping me in a cocoon.
You have created a new spell!
[Soul Burst - Using your souls, create a burst of power around you, forcing back anything nearby.]
Freeing myself, I'm immediately hit with a beam of light, pushing me way the fuck back.
It hurt a lot, but obviously, if a single attack put me down, I may as well just skip this and kill myself.
As I was thrown into a building which fell on me, I got the notification that Colette finished off all 3 of my Pokemon.
What a shame, I brought the three of them thinking I probably didn't need all 12 at all times. Now I do want all 12 of them but now I don't have them.
Well, next time, I'll throw them in one at a time.
Lifting the rubble burying me, I calmly remarked, "Are all Frenchmen this violent? You destroyed 2 buildings, I threw a meteor that didn't do anything."
Colette replied as she formed several arcane eyes around her, "Are all Americans so stupid? Your inferiority against God amazes me. He must hate America."
A God that hates America?
Knowing full well how Trump is in the middle of destroying it, I don't deny the fact that she's right. The Divine was jealous of a country that was more beautiful than it.
So, the simple solution…
"I'll just kill the God that hates my country," I calmly bite back, the absurdity of my words fueling my strength, "After all, I pledged my loyalty to my country, not some useless hack that hates me."
After all, I was given the Devourer of Gods perk for a reason.
That reason was to kill Gods.
Colette's reply was all of her arcane eyes firing purple lasers at me, while she used her gun to fire off light bullets.
Using the rubble to block those initial hits, I used Meteor again, the falling rock appearing from the clouds.
In the moment that Colette aimed up to defend her city, I used my anemo delusion to give me a burst of speed to reach her.
Colette managed to destroy the meteor, but then I grabbed her throat.
You have created a spell!
[Drain Soul - Making physical contact with someone, you can drain their soul toward you.]
Forcing her soul away from her body, Colette screamed as I ignored all of her durability to get her.
Colette's flight stopped working, forcing us to fall to the ground.
During that fall, she prayed.
"In my moment of need…"
During that fall, I laughed.
"PRAY HARDER!"
During that fall, God intervened.
All of my progress disappeared as divine light burst from Colette, forcibly pushing me away.
After I hit the ground, I immediately sensed something was wrong.
Very wrong.
That divine light just about traveled the entire world, didn't it?
"Ah… Being X?" I remembered the name that Tanya gave me, "Hm, I can grab you from this distance, but…"
As Colette stood up dazed, I saluted, "Domain Expansion."
If Being X was in the area, then my guaranteed hit from my Domain Expansion will-
Colette threw up a hand sign as she echoed, "Domain Expansion."
Our domains clashed as we both finished our sentences.
"Revolutionary Battlefield!"
"Light of Notre Dame!"
Washington D.C clashed with the burning cathedral of Notre Dame.
Flames engulfed me as her domain activated, while bullets poured into Colette. We could dodge, but the pain was too much.
But the flames won't kill me before she-
"GOD!"
In an instant, my domain was overpowered with Being X forcing much of his power into Colette, the burning cathedral engulfing Washington D.C.
The next moment, the flame engulfing me turned divine, ripping apart my slimy flesh.
Then, I popped my ubercharge capsule, turning me invincible for 8 seconds.
"Man, I'm so glad…" I said, savoring the shock on Colette's face as I casually took the attacks of a God, "That your God is weak as shit…"
Imitating what Garbanag did to my domain expansion long ago, I summoned my soul ballista and fired up at the ceiling of the cathedral, which held some religious painting I couldn't name.
The Light of Notre Dame shattered as we returned to Parisii.
With 2 seconds left on my ubercharge, I rushed down Colette, who was too shocked to resist my blade, coated with everything I could put on it.
But still, even with Eisenhower cutting into her neck, she had one last thing to say, "American… The entire world will fight against time just for the opportunity to stand against you!"
I'm in danger and I know it. She's about to rip apart Eisenhower and heal her neck.
But I still retorted, "I like those odds."
I'm punished for not moving in time as a wave of divine force pushed me back, Colette's neck healing itself.
In the corner of my eye, I spotted a civilian pointing a finger at me. I was ready to ignore it until light bubbled at the tip of his finger.
…Light?
I barely dodged the small light bullet aimed at my head, and I immediately figured out the game.
I threw a soul blast at him, accidentally bringing down the building he was standing in front of. After that, I flew up into the air, only to be pelted by small light bullets fired off from the civilians of Parisii.
Using Soul Shield to defend myself from their weak attacks, I questioned the sanity of Being X.
He mind controlled the common man against me, trying to use his power to put me down once and for all.
But…
Why did he think I'd give a damn to people who aren't even American?
Last time, I got away with just seeing my fellow Americans. But for this, I need something that keeps them safe from harm.
Spell Created
[Constitutional Amendment: Thou Shalt Not Commit Fratricide - While this spell is active, you cannot harm another American by any means.]
With my spell activated, I ignored my previous statement of avoiding landmarks as I summoned a massive meteor.
Then another.
And another.
My mana storage was suffering for it, but as 3 meteors began to fall on the City of Light, I immediately flew right back into Colette.
The Unyielding Rose threw a building at me, but I cut through it just like I cut through the ship she tried to use to stall me.
The Frenchwoman created a spell that sent several arcane bolts at me, but they were hardly damaging to me.
The blonde haired puppet used her gun to throw another beam of light at me, but at this point, those were getting easy to dodge.
Using everything that I had, I slashed with Eisenhower and Roosevelt-
Only to hit empty air?
Spending half a second in confusion and not getting hit for it, I immediately use my Unrelenting Chase to figure out where she went-
Right behind him.
Another beam of light hit me directly in the back, tearing apart my flesh as I was essentially thrown out of the city.
I'm nearly dead, but I can tell Colette is on the verge of death too…
As the three meteors hit Parisii without anyone capable of stopping them, the city is engulfed in a giant blast.
After that, very few buildings were standing, though, due to the height the meteors the dropped, Parisii wasn't a crater. Just flattened.
Yet, that difference really didn't matter to the millions that had just died.
My Unrelenting Chase is still active. If I kept fighting Colette, I would win. I could probably just use my Soul Ballista and kill her right now. I just gained millions of souls.
Could I win against Being X after that?
I was a Devourer of Gods, but I'm pretty badly damaged. I think I could win, but it'd be too close for comfort.
With that conclusion made in my head, I turned around.
We'll call it a draw.
You have gained an achievement!
[Landbreaker]
Requirement: Destroy a large city.
Description: If you listen closely, on the wind, you can hear the wailing.
Reward: 3 gacha tokens, 1 nuclear bomb, Title: Landbreaker.
[Landbreaker - Title - Land means nothing. - When equipped with this title, your spells and abilities are more destructive to the surrounding area.]
[Nuclear Bomb - A perfect replica of the nuclear bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima. Will activate when dropped from the air.]
Uncommon perk rolled.
[Well Rested - You no longer feel tired.]
Rare class upgrade perk rolled.
[Connection - Your connection with your tamed animals have grown to the point you don't need to speak to command them.]
Uncommon cursed skill rolled.
[Stupid Strength - Knocks down your intelligence to turn into 1 extra plus in your strength rank when used.]
Mm, my rolls were dogshit except for Connection, but at least the title and nuclear bomb is nice.
I could feel the souls of the French attempt to rebel against me. But, quite frankly, I didn't need all of their souls.
Using Suppress Souls, I put them all back in their place. Hundreds of souls were dying on me at every moment, but they didn't matter. All I needed were a few to fuel my attacks.
I made a portal back to Teyvat, after which I could just go to Berlun. But I could probably pick up the rest of my Pokemon to help me in battle next time.
So, I picked up the rest of my Pokemon, though only Angeles was there to greet me when I came.
After that, I had a little thought.
I have that concept devouring knife, don't I? I named it Detroit.
I was struggling to think of a good way to use it, but the next time I see Colette…
Yeah, that's a perfect way to destroy a cooky nationalist.
Ruins of Parisii
Colette
He retreated.
HE RETREATED?!
How dare he destroy one of the most beautiful cities that the world has ever seen, and just leave!
Her rage boiled over as divine light lashed at the ground around her, not even caring for the few Americans that were left alive from the attack.
They would likely submit to survivor's guilt later on anyways.
Still, even in this separate world, Colette loved her homeland. France was the greatest nation in the universe, and thus Francois, the counterpart to France, was the greatest nation in this world.
So to see it wounded so…
"My child." God's voice soothed her, "While the Heretic has escaped your justice today, the world now knows of his evil."
Being calmed by the deity, she nods, "Indeed. If we get the word out to the entire world, then they must join forces against America, and the Empire that follows it!"
"Indeed. They shall."
Berlun
Fuse
Berlin was a nice place. Not as nice as even the worst town in Mississippi, but it was a nice place nonetheless.
While I was recovering my wounds, I thought it'd be polite to go to the American embassy to tell them what I was trying to do. In all likelihood, those German generals probably convinced their government that siding with America was the correct move if Dori popped in to say hi, but it's good to be sure.
Landing in front of the embassy, I saw Tanya and who I assumed to be the American ambassador anxiously wait outside of the embassy.
That's odd. Why not just wait indoors? It's December. It's pretty cold out here.
"Ah, Fuse!" Tanya called out, half worried and half pissed off.
What the hell did I even do?
"Mr. Fuse," The American Ambassador didn't look worried as he just looked pissed off instead, "Can you explain to us why essentially the ENTIRE WORLD has declared war on both the Empire and the Unified States of America?"
Wait…
"They declared war on us?"
Tanya took over the explanation, "Yeah, they claimed that the Empire was using dark arts from the Americans. Then they declared war. A few minutes ago, we received reports that all the lights in Parisii had disappeared, so…"
"Oh, that must be when I destroyed Paris with 3 meteors," I off-handedly mentioned, ignoring their shock as I refocused on the important part, "So you're saying the entire world declared war on us? Canda and Mexico too?"
"...I've received word that our northern and southern borders have been overrun due to the unexpected attack," The American Ambassador forlornly stated.
I was still wounded from my battle with Colette just a few minutes ago.
I wasn't wounded enough to stop fighting for America.
Showing off my wings, I assured my alternate universe fellow American, "I am from the United States of America. Even so, you are still my cousins. I will defend our country, no matter what form it takes."
"God bless you," Was what he said.
"Let Liberty bless me instead," Was my reply as I flew into the air, instinctively heading straight to the USA.
Tanya
She blinked.
She turned to Edward Hummings, the ambassador, "Do you think he'll come back to save the Empire now that it's surrounded on all sides by enemies?"
He shrugged, "That, as the American ambassador, is not my problem. Liberty will guide him wherever he goes."
Her single mission was to get Fuse to save the Empire, and her, by crushing Being X and saving the world from his control.
Now he was fighting petty fights in America.
Fuck.
AN:
Writing 100k words in December, so for my first act, I'm going to write all of December January 1st's Manifest Destiny chapters in the first 3 days.
That's 4 chapters, about 2k words each, so 8k words. 6k to go.
I will come back to edit this once I am successful.
[I got 3 chapters then I gave Fuse a shit ton of buffs through the gacha and I have no idea what to give him RIP]
