( Code Total Drama Reality Introduction Song Starts )

( No Pain No Game (From Btoom!) )

(The ending of this story)

The song starts, showing the end of Code Lyoko where the Supercomputer is shut down and the former Lyoko Warriors leave the factory seemingly for the last time.

(I will hold it close as I wonder so aimlessly)

A single computer is shown coming online, lines of 1s and 0s streaming across the screen before the screen is replaced by a glowing sphere with the Eye of XANA, at least eight variations appearing on it. From the sphere came lines of data emerging in eight different directions. The lines of data formed into various regions, all of them floating landscapes resembling a forest, a desert, an arctic, mountains, volcanoes, swamp and a jungle.

(Into this new world)

The new lands orbited the golden sphere as the camera zoomed in on the Eye of XANA staring at the screen.

(The game has only just begun)

The Eye then flashes red, and the sphere turns black.

(I can see it in your eyes)

A girl with pink hair sits on her bed, panting as she turns to see two pictures of her friends and her father. She smiles briefly but that smile turns to a look of horror as both her friends and her father are engulfed by a great darkness and the red Eye shines down on her. The Supercomputer, thought to be shut down, is reactivated and there is a flash of light.

(This is where tomorrow brings a new game)

Aelita is shown alone both in the real world and in Lyoko, hordes of monsters surrounding her.

Geoff is first shown in his human form before transitioning to his Lyoko form.

Next to him is Bridgette, holding her surfboard in the real world before changing into her Lyoko form, her board splitting into two swords.

(It's time to learn that pain is gain)

Gwen is shown sitting in front of tree, looking up and is instantly changed into her Lyoko Avatar, brandishing her scythe.

DJ is shown in the woods, tending to a little rabbit as he stands up and morphs into his Lyoko form, turning to face the camera with a stern glare.

LeShawna is last, ready to fight in both her human form and her Lyoko form.

(Ready fight!)

William and a dark reflection of himself as XANA's General are shown standing back-to-back, turning to face each other and swinging their swords.

The screen is split by the two swords, showing New Lyoko as the title appears:

CODE: TOTAL DRAMA REALITY

(I gotta crush and paint away the anguish)

Aelita is shown first, sitting at the computer before she is then shown as the DJ of a party. She morphs into her Lyoko form and conjures an energy field.

This was followed quickly by Geoff wildly waving his hat while riding something with Bridgette holding onto him by the back.

(Of my past for the sake of my future)

Gwen is shown next, drawing in her sketchbook and signifying with a sad face as Duncan, Courtney and Trent appear behind her, their backs facing in her direction.

(Until my life comes to an end)

DJ is shown running for his life from appears to be a giant bear.

(I am gonna fight to tear apart that destiny)

LeShawna is shown next, standing confidently with her team, ready to face whatever crazy challenge comes next.

(Aoh, break out and start a revolution)

The antagonists of Total Drama: Heather, Courtney, Justin, Anne Maria, Jo, Lightning, Scott and Alejandro in the Total Drama Machine are shown from left to right, grinning or glaring at the camera, holding up an imaginary case of the million- dollar prize money in their hands. Chris Mclean is shown next, arms crossed as the chair he is sitting in spins to meet the camera, zooming out to show it is the monitor room for the Total Drama show.

A dark shadow appears above them, scrawny in appearance and hair falling over the left eye as it glares darkly at the screen.

(Until you find the answer you're looking for)

The camera then shows Aelita with the new Lyoko Warriors, the TD Lyoko Warriors and William sitting around a campfire, all of them staring up into the starry night sky, a picture of her friends and father resting in Aelita's hands.

(I'll challenge all my limits)

Aelita in her Lyoko form with her wings sprouting from her back is shown, clutching Mr. Puck in her hands as she seemingly falls back, her friends and relatives in the background.

The camera moves down to show William kneeling down, clutching his sword in both hands. As this happens, the camera moves down, showing depictions of the TD Lyoko Warriors and other characters in the background.

The camera continues to move down to show Geoff pulling Bridgette into sharing a picture with LeShawna bringing her face up over Bridgette's shoulder, the three of them in their Lyoko forms. While this happens, Harold, Lindsay, Beth, Trent, Katie and Sadie are shown in the background.

Below them is Gwen with her arms and legs curled around her with her cape swirling behind her like wings while Heather and Courtney are shown in the background glaring at each other followed by Sierra clutching Cody who looks distressed, Eva crossing her arms along with B and Beth both waving, the latter looking very shy. Behind Gwen appeared Dawn in her own Lyoko form in a meditative pose while upside down while facing Gwen with her eyes closed, her light robe contrasting with Gwen's cape with dark clothing, almost forming a yin-yang symbol.

Behind Dawn appears Scott, snickering evilly.

(Knowing this could be my only chance now)

DJ is shown last, seemingly falling back while holding his pet rabbit: Bunny in his hands with a happy smile. His teammates shown in the background starting with Duncan, Tyler, Justin and Alejandro ending with Chef Hatchet and Chris McClean.

He is followed by Mike and Zoey, both clutching their hands and smiling at each other as in background appears Brick, Jo, Lightning, Sam and Staci.

And lately Cameron appears staring up at the others.

(To overcome this fate that has come over me)

The screen turns black and the Eye of XANA immediately flashes into existence, glowing red and shadowing the outline of a singular person with red glowing eyes.

(The ending of this story)

Aelita is shown, standing in a meadow now with the wind gently blowing through her hair.

(I will hold it close as I wonder so aimlessly)

She holds up a hand, gazing sadly up as the images of her friends and parents appear in the sky.

(Into this new world)

Her hand then becomes digital, transitioning to Lyoko.

((The game has only just begun))

She gazes up a little longer before she notices her new friends and allies standing with her and smiles before looking forward, seeing a tower in the distance.

(I can see it in your eyes)

Just as they are about to rush towards the tower, the camera angles up into the digital sky as the song reaches its end.

The scene then shifts to pictures of Aelita and her friends both old and new on a desktop as the title appears on last time:

CODE: TOTAL DRAMA REALITY

( No Pain No Game (From Btoom!) Ends )

Episode 15: A Simple Solution

"So, it's been two years."

"Yes."

The man typed away at the computer before him. "The single strand of hair I left you was able to completely reconstitute me, scanning for the scattered remnants of my digital form."

"To think I held onto it for so long but guess it paid to be paranoid back then." The woman behind him said. "But I still have a lot of questions."

"As do I." The man replied, opening several files. "As far I know, the kids must have shut down the supercomputer when they believed XANA had been destroyed."

"So, it was him." The woman scowled.

"Yes. I realized what was happening too late and before I could even warn them, XANA had already executed his plan. I have a chance to help now but I have to learn everything that's happened. Once I have a plan-"

"And what about Aelita?" The woman abruptly cut in. "You do know that she's the only one left? She was the only one to return following the cyber attack that was seen all across France. There's no Return to the Past that can cover this mess. Aelita think she's alone…Or rather she was alone."

"Yes, she's found new people to help her which is good. It will buy us time." The man answered. "XANA does not seem to know yet that you've managed to bring me back."

"I'm not talking about XANA. I'm talking about Aelita." The woman sternly said. "She just lost her friends, she's probably about to be blamed for their disappearance and soon enough someone will connect the dots and lead them here. I have done my part in this but I cannot stand aside and blindly carry out your instructions if you are not the least bit concerned about Aelita."

"I am beyond concerned for her but I cannot waltz into Kadic Academy and try to clear her name. If they learn who she is and report us to the authorities, it will reach their ears. I have to work as fast as I can to make sure that doesn't happen before I reveal my self." The man argued.

"Utter nonsense." The woman snapped. "I argued with you about this. I told you that you were putting too much faith in her, faith in her to handle something she should never have been part of. It was you who disregarded my warning."

The man opened a file, showing a recording with Jeremy in it.

"And let's not forget that the reason we are in this mess in the first place is because you, Franz, created the very monster who was meant to be a Guardian of your masterpiece and couldn't kill him when you all had the chance. It was you who brought this on us!"

The woman turned the elevator, slamming her hand on the up switch and left the man, Franz opened the file.

"Diary of Jeremy Belpois, October 1st. I was hunting for part to finish my miniature robots…"

The door opened to the meeting room, allowing Chris to enter while Chef was working on connecting them to the Producers via a video call.

"Do we have a connection yet, Chef?" Chris asked.

"We'll have it in a second." Chef replied.

Suddenly static began to appear on the screen.

"Whoa, there we are! Boss! Director, hello? Waving my hand, do you see me?" Chris was in front of the screen, waving before the image of the Producers with the lead one, a shadowy woman appearing in the center.

"Look he can see me, but I can't see him!" She snarled to somebody off screen.

"Boss, we have an image!" Somebody off screen said.

"What? Ok, whatever you're doing, keep doing it." The Lead Producer replied.

"Hey Director, we've got you loud and clear here!" Chris called out.

"I see you...I see you... I see you guys, you're all right there. Is Chris Mclean with you guys?" the Director asked.

"Right here sir!" Chris waved a hand.

"And Chef Hatchet is in the room, right?"

"Yes ma'am!" Chef answered, waving his hand.

"You, hit that host in the face, NOW!"

"Gladly!" Chef grinned.

"WHAT?!"

THWACK!

"Ow. Ow." Chris nursed his black eye. "What did I do to deserve that?"

"What haven't you done to deserve it? We pay your bail, we talk the French government into letting you shoot the next season of Total Drama in France rather than back on that island which wasn't easy mind you, since the French are still upset with the two girls who vandalized the Mona Lisa!"

"Technically, that happened after Season 2 but months before Season 3. We're not legally responsible for them when the show's not on the air." Chris cheekily clarified.

"Doesn't matter! We still had to promise that neither of them nor the rest of the cast would cause any damage here or we'd be talking back on the island, the same island that cost millions to clean up the toxic waste you dumped there and in one day you get embroiled in a cyber terrorist attack." The lead Producer raved.

"That was not my fault. I didn't have anything to do with that." Chris argued.

"We know that. If we thought you were behind it, you'd be serving the rest of your sentence in a French prison." The Producer retorted. "Now, onto the main topic of our discussion, the first challenge's broadcast was a disaster because of that cyber attack. A lot of parents called in when they saw a freaky red eye on TV that was showing every single channel broadcasting in France. Just what exactly have you done to make sure that no other contestants will be in danger this time?"

"Well, we disconnected the main network of the VR Pods and all connected systems from live broad casting, instead we will broadcast live through a camera that will record the main view screen that shows what is going on in the VR scenario so there won't be a risk of a cyber attack reaching the contestants again." Chris answered.

"Do you know how this virus got into the computer?"

"No sir, it just ate right through our fire walls, but we do know it slipped in from a wireless connection from a nearby cyber cafe. We checked there but none of the computers or people had the power to create something of that degree of power." Chris shrugged.

"Fine but no one goes into those VR Pods until we are sure there won't be another attack like that one." The lead Producer stated.

"Yes sir." Chris nodded.

"And just remember that you have three contestants in critical condition with two more not far behind and one being the son of a diplomat and not to mention that Heather girl's family has quite the influence. Her dad dines with Mr. Harper this afternoon damn it!" The lead Producer complained. "We're just lucky no one from the Burromuerto figured out what you did to their kid."

"Hey, I got him to sign the forms and legally absolve the show!" Chris objected.

"And you've been keeping him around as your own personal toaster for a year. If the Burromuerto family ever find out what you did they would sue the show for everything."

"True but we've got every best lawyer in the world on speed-dial. They would have those donkeys tied up in court for years." Chris chuckled.

"Good, to know. Now all of you get to work, we have a show to continue!" The lead Producer exclaimed. "Keep those kids safe and we won't suffer any more grief from worried parents. This could be the best season we have and we can't afford to mess this one up. Make sure nothing like this happens again Chris." The lead Producer sat back in her chair and looked to the side. "DIET COKE NOW!"

The call ended and Chris sighed in relief. "Well, that went as expected."

"Yeah." Chef grinned.

"Wipe the smirk off your face, Chef."

"Will Miss Stones please report to the Principal Office immediately. Miss Stones, come to the Principal Office, immediately. And bring your laptop with you."

William perked up at the sound of Aelita being called to the Principal Office. He hoped it didn't have anything to do with her missing friends.

'Just in case though…' William opted to keep his cell phone on and stay close by.

Little did William know that Sissy was already headed to the Principal Office, stopping just outside the door so she could listen in.

After her encounter with Walter, Aelita just wanted the rest of the day to be quiet so she could just finish classes and work on the data William had found. However, when she heard her name being called to the Principal Office she knew she had no choice but to go see what the Principal wanted. She saw Jim waiting for her outside the cafeteria and knew it was serious. He led to the Principal Office and opened the door for her to see…

Oh no…

Jeremy's father, Michael Belpois.

Takeho Ishiyama and Akiko Ishiyama, Yumi's Parents.

Marguerite and Robert Robbia, Odd's parents.

Along with Walter Stern and his wife.

All of them waiting for her as she slowly entered the office, Jim closing the door behind her.

"Miss Stones, please have a seat." Jean-Pierre gestured to the chair in front of his desk.

Steeling herself, Aelita walked forward and sat down. "You wanted to see me, sir?"

"Yes." Jean-Pierre sighed, rubbing his head. "It has come to our attention, that you along with the missing students were involved in something very dangerous, Miss Stones…Or should I say Hopper?"

Aelita's went wide and she was completely speechless. "H-H-How-"

"Your friend, XANA chose to give away your secret." Jean-Pierre turned the screen of his computer to show the message box from XANA and the Principal then played the recording that came with it.

"Aelita has no parents, and she hasn't got a birth certificate. What's more, she's not enrolled in any school. Okay, that's no biggie but all that together means she doesn't exist-" Ulrich's voice began.

"I could put her up at my house. My folks wouldn't mind." Yumi's voice spoke next.

"And you could plug into the City Hall computers and create a phony identity for her. Find her a new name, all the stuff she needs." Ulrich spoke again.

"Then you just have to enroll her at our school. And try to put her in our class, that would be really cool, huh?" Odd's voice was next.

"I had to hack a military satellite." Jeremy's voice then said before the recording ended. "Because that dumb principal wouldn't let Yumi leave the school grounds."

Aelita could listen in shock.

The adults knew and because of XANA of all people?

He had recorded them during…

Of course, she was still living in Lyoko at the time. It would made perfect sense if XANA had been monitoring all communications between her and Jeremy but why send this recording to the Principal now?

Did XANA intend to expose her secret?

"I'm sorry, Miss Hopper but I must ask you for your laptop…Or should I say Jeremy's laptop." Jean-Pierre stated.

Before Aelita could reply, Jim grabbed her bag and placed it on the desk for the Principal to inspect. The principal then turned to the viewscreen of his computer and typed a question:

'I have the laptop. What now?'

There was immediate reply from XANA: Jeremy kept a recording of all the evidence you need. Access his video files and you will find it.

Jean-Pierre frowned as he typed back. "Do you know the password?"

Aelita looked at the screen.

There was a pause and then Jeremy's computer beeped, the restrictions being broken as the Eye of XANA flashed on the screen briefly before the files were open for them.

XANA had hacked Jeremy's laptop?!

'Search for the earliest file dating back to October 1st, 2005.' XANA texted the principal.

Jean-Pierre did so, and everyone watched as Jeremy appeared on the screen.

"Diary of Jeremy Belpois, October 1st. I was hunting for part to finish my miniature robots. There was nothing for me to find at the school, so I tried looking for nearby scrap at an abandoned factory I learned about that was not far from the academy…"

"…and I found something unbelievable! Through an elevator that was still working, I found some sort of laboratory complex underneath the factory with scanners and what appeared an advanced supercomputer."

Franz continued watching the recording while running several other programs.

"Later that night, I chose to turn on the supercomputer. Little did I know, my life and the lives my new friends were about to be changed forever."

Aelita was stunned but couldn't do anything with Jim behind her, keeping an eye on her.

"Inside the supercomputer was a complete virtual world and residing there was a girl named Aelita who seems to be a fully fledged artificial intelligence in the form of a human but that was not all. There appears to be another AI named XANA but unlike Aelita, XANA was malevolent and aggressive, attacking us as soon as the supercomputer was activated…"

Franz frowned.

"…the only way to stop XANA for good was to shut down the supercomputer but there is one thing stopping us at the moment. Aelita. If the supercomputer is shut down, she will be gone along with Lyoko and XANA. I am currently working on a way to bring Aelita into our world now, even as we endure attacks from XANA."

From his hidden sanctuary, XANA watched Jeremy's recording with amusement.

"Despite the hardships and a minor misunderstanding with our gym teacher Jim, I managed to finally materialize Aelita but when we tried to shut down the supercomputer, we find out that XANA had infected Aelita with a virus that would kill her if XANA were to be shut down. All our efforts and the fight still continue until I can find an anti-virus."

Jim blanched, surprised by what he had just heard about himself finding out their secret while unintentionally injuring Jeremy.

"We learned that Franz Hopper was the creator of both Lyoko and XANA and that Aelita in actuality was his daughter who had been virtualized onto Lyoko with her father before he had been taken prisoner by XANA. With the help of the diary I learned that it wasn't a virus that was keeping Aelita tied to the supercomputer but a memory fragment stolen by XANA and used to bind her life to his. Now that I understand what really happened, I'm now scanning Lyoko for the memory fragment and once we get it back, we can shut down the supercomputer and get rid of XANA once and for all."

Franz folded his hands underneath his chin, hearing this part out clearly.

"…July 9th, 2005," Jeremy's voice sounded dismayed. "Today, XANA escaped the supercomputer. He's out there, somewhere and we have to locate and stop him."

Aelita lowed her eyes as Jeremy recounted the events of that day.

"September 16th, 2006. XANA managed to possess Aelita through the Scyphozoa and implanted a command in the Forest Sector's Way Tower that caused the entire Forest Sector to be deleted. I surmised that XANA is attempting to stop us from reaching Sector 5 and stopping him from destroyed the Heart of Lyoko like he tried earlier. If Lyoko is destroyed, we will lose our only chance of stopping XANA so I must work on a way to materialize everyone directly into Sector 5."

"November 7th, 2006. With the toll from fighting XANA is having on our lives and the loss of the Mountain Sector, we've debated adding in a fifth member of the team. I managed to complete the virtualization sequence for Sector 5 so with any luck, we're still able to keep up with XANA."

"November 8th, 2006. We lost not only Lyoko but also William who ended up getting possessed and used to destroy the core. Fortunately, a message on my laptop from Franz Hopper gives us hope since he is not only still alive but has given several programs that could help us rebuild Lyoko and continue fighting against XANA. I am working on it even now, because the longer Lyoko is gone, the longer the world is defenceless against a threat no one else knows about."

"November 18th, 2006. Aelita and I have worked day and night, using the data sent to us from Franz Hopper to recreate Lyoko. Using a Voice Synthesizer, I convinced the Principal that William's father took him over seas to explain his absence from school."

Jean-Pierre blanched upon hearing that Jeremy had deceived him.

"November 19th, 2006. We learned that William survived Lyoko's destruction but at the cost of being fully controlled by XANA. We barely managed to save Aelita from being thrown into the Digital Sea for some reason. With Lyoko soon to be restored, we'll now have to work on a way to free William from XANA's control."

"November 28th, 2006. We have managed to create a virtual submarine that we can use to explore the network and to hopefully track XANA down. During our first voyage we discovered what could only be described as a Replica of Lyoko, created by XANA with the data he stole from Aelita. I only managed to get back in time after Jim hounded me for the evacuation exercise. As of yet, we do not know why XANA has created a Replica but we intend to find out."

"December 2nd, 2006. We attempted to access the Replika, that is Replica with the letter 'k' to signify their importance and we've discovered it came from a supercomputer that was infected by XANA. The existence of one Replika means it is likely there are many more, created by from supercomputers that XANA infected when he escaped our supercomputer. I have begun working on a program to track and find these Replikas in the hopes of destroying them to weaken and stop XANA as well as to find Franz Hopper and William."

"January 21st, 2006. We've learned that not only Franz Hopper is still alive and hiding in the Network but also XANA is searching for him to eliminate him since as his creator, Hopper holds the means to eliminating XANA permanently. Aelita was lured to Lyoko where she found a simulation bubble with her father seemingly waiting for her, but it was a trap set by XANA and she was thrown into the Digital Sea. Franz Hopper appeared and rescued her, having somehow managed to survive by hiding in the Digital Sea of all places. It is imperative now that we do not let XANA destroy Hopper because he is our best chance at destroying XANA for good."

"March 30, 2007. I brought Franz Hopper's diary back. After the neuronal headset and the Marabounta incident, I stopped using either. But I am starting to work another program from my room and this will be the first video recording my progress on it. The program is a multi-agent system, made up of agents that are programmed to focus on eliminating XANA and his Replikas spread around the world, putting an end to him once and for all.

I also have worked to adjust the program that will bring back William when they return to the Replika in Siberia."

"April 1st, 2007. Progress is slower than I thought and the fake William clone I created to keep our cover keeps causing problems. We got word that William's parents are visiting, meaning we have to move fast and get the real William back as soon as possible. Between working on the program to bring him back and finishing the multi-agent system, I am having a hard time prioritizing which one, especially when the clone does some stupid thing that Odd suggests."

"April 7th, 2007. We've done. It's been over two and half years of fighting, but we finally managed to destroy XANA. The multi-agent system spread through the network, destroying all the Replikas and purging the supercomputers of XANA's infections. Without any of the supercomputers and Replikas to sustain him, XANA died but our victory came at a cost. Franz Hopper sacrificed himself to power the program before we could materialize him."

Aelita had to look away, knowing now that and Jeremy were wrong. XANA had not only faked his death but also killed her father, making her feel even worse as Jeremy's diary was being played to all her friends' parents and the principal.

"April 10th, 2007. With XANA dead, all that was left was to shutdown the supercomputer, but then Sissy as always tried to ruin everything. We came up with the idea of telling her she was our friend so she would stop bothering us."

Sissy, who had been listening in through the door, gasped with wide eyes.

"It's amazing to think she almost joined the group at the beginning of everything and that one thing that has never changed about her is that she always selfishly thinks of herself and is always trying to break up our group from her silly obsession with Ulrich. She told her dad everything at the beginning and three years later when we're finally ending it, she does it again after she puts a tracker on Ulrich's jacket that led her to the factory, found my diary and then spilled everything to the principal, forcing us to use one last Return to the Past to stop her. If I have to pretend to be friends with her until the 12th grade, then so be it even if it means putting up with her childish and delusional clingy behavior. It is clear that no matter how much things have changed; Sissy never will change for the better and will always be an annoying thorn in our sides."

Sissy, who had been outside the room but managed to listen in was utterly shocked and distraught with tears slipping down her cheeks.

"With any luck though, this will be my last recording as a Lyoko Warrior." Jeremy finished with a relieved smile on his face.

With that, the diary was finished.

All of the adults were left speechless at what they had learned while Aelita remained silent, seemingly frozen from listening to Jeremy recount the three years of conflict that they had endured before seemingly having finally managed to end it.

X.A.N.A.: As you can see, reports of my demise were greatly exaggerated. Now then, since you all know the truth now, perhaps you would like to bargain for the return of Yumi, Odd, Ulrich and Jeremy.

Aelita's eyes went wide.

X.A.N.A.: My demands are simple: In exchange for them, they are to be expelled from Kadic, the supercomputer at the factory will be shut down and the returned students will be relocated to separate schools while Aelita and William are brought back to Lyoko one last time.
