All I Want To Do Ch 17

Hours later Chuck checked his messages and heard Ellie's rant. Just what he needed. On the one hand he wanted to show the world that Sarah was his wife and going about it this way it wouldn't be much of a shock if it progressed fast. Now someone had told Ellie and he knew which big mouth had spilled. He couldn't blame his bearded friend but he could have waited. But like Sarah, Ellie was Morgan's kryptonite.

Chuck walked out after a long day of catching up on the reports plus meeting with Beckman, Jenkins, and Casey. He missed hearing from Sarah. And Sarah had missed out on the last few meetings being forced to go on an install with Jeff and Lester. He felt for her. Chuck opened the exterior door and looked up seeing Ellie another inconvenience. Chuck put on his surprised face. "Hey Ellie."

"When were you going to tell me about this Sarah?"

"Well hello to you too."

"Hello." Her voice harsh.

"So, you decided to come here?"

"How else was I to talk to you. You don't return my calls and when you do, our conversations are very short."

"I'm busy, moving back, new job."

"But you seem to find time to find a girl."

Chuck wanted to scream. 'She's not my girlfriend but my wife.' "Ellie, I didn't find a girl, I met one and what we have is new and I didn't want you to meet her if it wasn't going to work out." Chuck watched her face. His explanation seemed to work. Ellie stepped closer. "I'm sorry, It's just that Morgan told me and I was kind of hurt that you didn't tell me." Chuck grunted. Ellie just confirmed that it was Morgan who spilled the beans. Chuck grabbed his sister's hand. "Would you like to meet her?" She nodded. "Okay, how abouttomorrownight? Kyoto that Japanese place haven't been there in awhile. Let's say seven?"

"Okay." Chuck gave his sister a hug and walked her to her car."Tomorrow."

"Tomorrow." Chuck waited till his sister drove away then rolled his eyes.

Chuck came home and Sarah knew by the look on his face that it was a rough day. He kissed her and went in for a hug. But it wasn't a hug she'd usually got. This one was those hugs when you felt that the world was caving in. She held him close and kissed the side of his face. They eventually walked upstairs as he changed into his pyjamas. He hung up his suit looking at her. "Do you want to?" Sarah shook her head. "It's okay, I think we will just be us tonight. Have something to eat and call it a night."

Chuck crawled into bed bringing Sarah close. She too was tired and going to bed early wasn't a bad idea. Chuck listened to her day and the install she had to go on. Chuck laughed. "I remember those all too well. That is why Big Mike never had Jeff go alone on installs." Chuck move to his back a Sarah switched sides. "And you?"

Chuck tried to avoid answering but this was Sarah and keeping it from her would be worse than actually telling her. Chuck looked at her. "Ellie wants to meet you." Sarah sat up. "What?"

Chuck tried to smile. "Morgan told her that I had a girlfriend and she left me a rather wordy message. Which I didn't call her back. Then as I left work, she was standing outside my office."

"She was waiting for you?"

"Yeah. So, to appease her I made a supper date fortomorrownight. You free?" Sarah caressed his cheek. This was what had feared, one more thing that he would have to juggle and keep ahead of. Sarah was starting to see why Chuck wasn't thrilled to be back here. "So how do you want to play this?"

Chuck sat up. "You play my girlfriend."

"Okay but to what degree? Some hand holding a kiss here there or full groping and deep kisses." Chuck laughed. She slid his hand around her waist as he made her lie down. "You be you, my lovely wife, who has to pretend to be my girlfriend."

Chuck looked unconvinced. Sarah touched his face. "I am fine with it."

"I'm just not sure you can pull it off."

"Oh really." As she raised her head to kiss him. "I can be whatever you want me to be."

"She will quiz you, she will ask you all kinds of questions about me, us and where you stand in the relationship."

"So, telling her that we slept together after only knowing each other for a few hours. Or that we are both spies. Or that you were my teacher and we fooled around in the library. Got married Christmas Eve." Sarah kept talking as Chuck leaned in shutting her up with a deep kiss. He came up for air. "All of the above." Whatever Sarah said worked, she slid her hand under his arms pulling his shirt off him caressing his bare back. She slipped her shirt off and pulled on her bottoms. Sarah loosened his pajamas loosening them so she could pull them down. "I guess we are?" Sarah looked at him. "Oh yes we are."

Chuck took them to their place which left the outside world where it belonged, out there. Chuck slid his arm around her hip bringing her closer. Sarah caressed his face lingering longer with each kiss. Wrapping her legs around him she pulled him on top of her. She liked looking at him as he made love to her. She had picked up on that their first time. She noticed how attentive he was and he seemed to not lose that. They loved each other for a long time till they crashed in each other's arms. It had been a long time since they made love and could just stay in bed and fall asleep after. He was exhausted and he she was exhausted too. What he did she had no strength left. But enough to kiss him goodnight.

Sarah slipped out of his hold and hurried to the bathroom trying to beat him so she could make breakfast. She remembered that tonight she'd meet his sister. She instantly felt nervous. She was kind of glad she didn't have to work but then again, she'd have the whole day to worry about meeting Ellie. She slipped downstairs grabbing some eggs and bacon. She wasn't much of a cook but she couldn't ruin making breakfast. Chuck came downstairs walking towards Sarah. He slid his arms around her nestling inside her neck. She felt her knees buckle. He kissed her as he turned her around. "Good morning my lovely wife."

"Good morning to you too. Did we sleep well?" Chuck gave Sarah a seductive look. "I did thanks."

"Well, that was a pleasant surprise last night and now this morning. You cooking breakfast."

"It's the least I can do for last night. Go sit."

"Well, you were pretty creative as well I must say." Sarah blushed. She brought him a plate but as she grabbed some green onions to toss them onto his eggs, he grabbed her kissing her hard. She couldn't resist. She eventually broke the kiss. "Eat your eggs before they get cold." Sarah grabbed her plate and sat down beside him.

Chuck got up taking their plates and slipped them into the dishwasher. Then walked up to her as she was cleaning up. He slid his arms around her waist. He kissed the inside of her neck then looked at the clock, she knew. He turned her around and lifted her up. He carried her to the living room. He sat down in the chair as she straddle him. She slowly unzipped his pants and unbutton his shirt. She stood up briefly taking her bottoms off. She resumed her spot feeling him and touching him. He slid her top off kissing her breasts. Their appetite for sex was one thing but it was their connection was what made it work. He held her close. She was able to calm his heart as he was able to keep her safe. Sarah held her hands flat on his chest as he tried to keep up. He held her hips close as they reached their high. Sarah continued to kiss him as he held her close. "You're going to be late." As she kissed him. He kissed her back. "But it would be worth it."

Sarah watched Chuck leave giving her tinge of emptiness. And when his truck was out of view she sat back in their chair and covered up. The quietness reminded her of her time on campus and the time he had spent the weekend with her. What he did to make it work. What risks he took just to be with her. Every minute with him added to how much she loved him.

Sarah woke up to her phone, thinking it was Chuck but it was her mom. "Hey."

"You are alive?"

"Sorry just been busy. How's work for you?"

"Back on days so that's a nice change. Get to see the sun." Sarah laughed. "So, what's new? Pregnant yet!"

"Mom!"

"Just asking." Sarah thought to herself 'But after what happened earlier who knows.' The conversation continued. "Chucks sister found out that he was seeing someone and now she wants to meet me."

"Who told?"

"Chuck's friend Morgan. I guess he can't keep things to himself."

"And Chuck?"

"Upset, not thrilled. He didn't want to come back here knowing that his personal life and work life would be an issue. He said that at least in DC he knew none of that was a concern. And now that he has a job."

"Another one? Yeah, his day job is working for MC Hammond doing his forensic stuff."

"Right, he is an engineer by trade. So, back to Chucks sister. How do you feel about meeting the sister?"

"Not sure, from what I have heard from him she can be overbearing overprotective. It had been just the two of them so she might pick me apart."

"You have nothing to worry. You're already married." They both laughed. "Too bad she can't know that just yet."

"So how are you going to explain your relationship?"

"Well Chuck did ask me out so we are technically 'dating,' that's a start. He's frustrated that he can't tell the world, that we are married. So, he figured this was the next best thing. He's amazing man."

"He is."

Sarah got off the phone texting Chuck.'Hello, my sexy husband. Thinking about you. Just wondering where we are going tonight and what would be the best outfit to wear. Love you.'

Seconds later Chuck responded.'We can cancel and you wear nothing. But you will say no we are going. We are going to Kyoto it's a sushi Japanese restaurant. So casual. Again, we can cancel as I am picturing you well, I'll let that image set in. Love you.'

Sarah smiled. Walking upstairs she headed to her closet. Her wardrobe had doubled since getting her badge but she still was limited in her fashion style. She grabbed a green blouse and her black leather jacket and her dark jeans. She grabbed Chuck's black denim shirt and his dark blue jeans and laid them out.

Chuck swung by Castle on his way home to catch up with Casey. Heading downstairs Casey greeted him with a file. Chuck opened the file then looked up. "So, we have permission to investigate?"

Yeah. So, I am going to set up surveillance tonight." Chuck made a face. "No, it's fine, we can meet you later. Ellie confronted me outside work yesterday after she found out that I was seeing someone."

"Who spilled?"

"My friend Morgan."

"Well, I got it covered till you get there." Chuck sat down on the stool. "So, what do we want to find?"

"Serial numbers for sure. Maybe place trackers in what we find. Any word on the laptop?"

"I found a few files that I spent the day deciphering. In between my other duties. But I did get something but can't open it. Might have to get his laptop back."

"Can you do that?"

"I can send him another link but he might be cautious this time around."

"But you can do something?" Casey grunted. "Always." Chuck just had to figure out which file he could play with. He opened his laptop and logged onto Doug's IP address. Surprisingly, he was online. Casey sat down beside him as Chuck looked at him. "We can see everything that he is doing." Chuck waited till he wasn't looking and clicked on his camera. "He looks like a nerd."

"Hey, don't judge a nerd by its book cover." Chuck watched him leave allowing Chuck to fish thoroughly through his files eventually finding that his security settings were low. Chuck flipped a few allowing Irena to make her presence known once again. "For nerds she is like potato chips you can't just have one."

Kyoto Sushi

Chuck pulled up to the restaurant and put the truck into park. He turned to face Sarah. "We can drive away if you want."

Sarah looked at him. "I'll have to meet her sooner or later; it would look awkward to be at a family reunion and not have her know who I am."

"Last chance."

Sarah opened her door giving her answer. Chuck walked around to her side and closed her door for her. She reached for his hand and headed down the street to the restaurant. Ellie and Devon were seated at the table and Sarah knew who she was from his picture of her on his shelf. She could feel her eyes on her instantly. What do you say when you little brother walks in with a blonde haired girl. Chuck waved then gave his sister a hug when he reached the table. He hugged Devon then had the pleasure to introduce Sarah. "Ellie and Devon this is Sarah Walker my girlfriend. Sarah this is my sister Ellie Bartowski and her boy friend Devon Woodcomb. Sarah shifted on her feet to shake Devon's hand first then Ellie's. Sarah spoke first. "Nice to meet you." Even though she wanted to say it was finally nice to meet you. Devon replied first. "Well, you're not what we expected Chuck would have chosen." Sarah gave him a look as well as Chuck. "No, it's a good thing, the last girl he had us meet was a brunette." "Well, I guess his preferences have changed. Plus, blondes do have more fun."

Chuck smiled. Ellie finally responded extending her hand. "Nice to meet you."

Sarah shook her hand; it had a slight grip to it but at least it wasn't one of those spaghetti handshakes. Though her handshake was pleasant Sarah knew she was the opposite inside. The four sat down as Chuck was glad that the waitress came by asking if anyone wanted anything to drink. Chuck ordered a beer while Sarah ordered some iced tea. She would prefer an alcoholic drink but she wanted to be alert and ready for the imminent interrogation, that she knew was going to happen.

Devon looked across the table. "So, Sarah besides, how you two met, where are you from?"

Sarah smiled looking at Chuck then back at Devon. "I'm originally from San Diego. My mom still lives there, where she's a nurse and my dad is upstate." Chuck looked at her, this was the first time in a long time since she had said anything about her dad. ' Did she just admit that he was upstate as in jail, upstate? Chuck smiled back at her. "I travelled for a bit then came here."

"Any siblings?"

"No just me." A slight look of sadness encroached her face. Chuck grabbed her hand. The server came by. "Are we ready to order." Sarah looked at Chuck then leaned in. "I have never had sushi before."

"Never?" Sarah shook her head. "Okay then." Sarah was glad that Chuck never made an issue of it. "Okay, first do you like rice?"

"It's okay."

"How about this." As he pointed to the menu. He laughed. "It's safe. And then you can try some of mine and if you are okay with it, we can order more." Sarah kissed his cheek. Chuck looked up. "Okay we will have the Chicken Karaage." He looked at Sarah. "It's seasoned chicken tidbits delicately deep fried."

"Okay."

"Then we will have the Vegetable Tempura. I'll have the Tofu Harumaki." He looked at Sarah. "It's an egg roll filled with pickled cucumber and tofu wrapped with seaweed." Chuck looked up again. "And the Yakitori and the chicken Yakisoba."

The server then turned to Ellie and Devon. "She will have the Black Pepper Maguro and I will have the Tropical Tai." The waitress smiled then headed to the back.

So, Sarah, how's working at the Buy More going?"

"Well, its' only temporary."

"Yeah, she enjoys languages."

"Languages?"

"Yeah, I can speak Polish and a little bit of Russian."

"Impressive." Devon adding.

"So, I have some leads with Government postings. And its an interesting place to work, never a dull moment."

"Other than work what do you do?"

Sarah smiled. She wanted to list her skills but Ellie and Devon weren't privy to that information. "I can shoot a distance of a half mile with a sniper rifle." Chuck almost choked on his beer. "Not in real life of course, one of Chuck's video games." Chuck finished swallowing.

"That would be a talent." Devon grinning.

They enjoyed their meal and Sarah was waiting for that one question that most sister's ask about their brothers girlfriends. And then it came. "You and Chuck more than casual?"

Chuck looked at his sister. "Really Ell?"

Sarah like a professional she was, Sarah turned to face Ellie. "I care for your brother very much. I am shocked at how things are going between us. It feels at times that we have known each other for much longer than we have been going out. He gets me and I get him. So, the answer to your question. Yes, it is more than casual however you define casual. I care for your brother very much."

Chuck leaned in and kissed her cheek. Ellie's face went a shade of red. Sarah went back to her drink. Ellie was quiet then tried to pack her leftovers. Her sleeve of her sweater got into the dipping sauce. "Edamame. Awe your sleeve." Sarah grabbing some napkins. Ellie stretching out her sleeve so it could be wiped. Chuck looked up. "Ellie are you ever going to retire that sweater?"

"Hope not." Devin adding. Ellie gives Chuck a look. "It's my lucky sweater."

Devon adds. "More like my lucky sweater."

Ellie looks at him with such love. "I was wearing it the first time I met Ellie in an epidemiology class. Ellie leans back more into his shoulder. "He told me that L. L. Beans must have stolen the color of my eyes so it really belong to me." Devin kisses her on her cheek. Chuck looks at Sarah grabbing her hand, then smiling.

Chuck covered the meal and they started to walk out. Chuck looked at his sister. Spy life and real life in the same air space. At least in DC it used to be all compartmentalized. It was Chuck's spy world and then real world if he slowed down. Here it's the world of Chuck with no distinction, and if he's lucky maybe a few shades of grey. His worry was written on his face but his sister never picked up on it.

They said their goodbyes with Devon adding not to make the next visit as long in coming. They reached the truck as Chuck opened the truck door as Sarah jumped in. He watched her wondering what she thought about meeting his sister. He smiled then closed the door. He slipped inside and started the truck. He looked at her. "You ok with going to meet Casey or I can drop you off at home." Sarah looked at him reaching for his hand. "You're afraid to ask me how tonight went?" Chuck shied away briefly. "Well, she can be overbearing at times." "It did feel like an interrogation." "But you sailed right through. And the gun reference. Quickly making it sound like a video game." "If only she knew how truthful it was." Sarah ran her arm over his forearm. "I can see why you stayed in DC. The job and being here with family. Her questioning everything would make the job, travel and being a spy tough. And it already is. I just have my mom who has known this whole time, you have your sister, Devon, Morgan, and everyone else who doesn't know. I can't imagine what you're going through."

"I wouldn't have done this if you weren't with me. I had no plans to come back here as long as I was a spy." "But Beckman wants results not feelings." Sarah leaned closer as their lips touched. The kiss was soft and sweet. Sarah kissed him once more then sat back. "Let's go and be spies." Chuck adjusted his seat belt then drove off.

They parked behind Casey's as he stepped out of his car. Chuck opened the back door grabbing two black hoodies and a black ball cap for Sarah. Sarah slipped her hoodie on then pulled her hair up inside the cap pulling it down. Chuck did the same with his hoodie then grabbed his backpack. Sarah slipped inside to see what else she could take when she saw her lock picking kit. She smiled pulling it out. She waved it towards Chuck. He stepped towards her. Sarah looked at him. "What's this?"

"I figured you might need it." She grabbed his hoodie kissing him hard. He almost dropped the items in his hands. They stopped kissing when they heard a grunt. "We hurry up here and you to can finish whatever this is at home." They both laughed as Chuck closed the truck door locking it manually. The three enter the back gate of an airplane storage hanger. Crouching down Casey gave a quick update. "This is when they switch their security. We have about 20 minutes at this end before they make their rounds. When they come through, we go backwards eventually coming back here. Each section no more than 20 minutes give or take. There are three guards from what I have seen but just in case." Casey hand out their ear comps. They inserted them into their ears and did a quick test. Casey took the lead but when it came to unlocking the gate Sarah slipped inside between the boys. She crouched down unzipping her kit then strategically inserting the tools moving them around and in seconds the lock was picked. They slipped through as Chuck set the lock up making it look locked. They walked the length of the lot avoiding being seen. Casey pointed at his watch. "20 minutes then we move on no matter what." Sarah and Chuck nodded. They enter the first hanger knowing it will be at least 40 minutes before they got back here. Chuck went straight to anything that looked like a computer. Sarah started scanning freight tags and Casey checking the airplanes. He took photos due to time. Chuck inserted USB's into the laptops he saw trying to bypass most but was thankful for those that were left on. Sarah moved over, placing small trackers behind the labels on the larger pieces of cargo. Giving them something to track.

Casey whistled as his watch went off. Both Chuck and Sarah looked up. Chuck started to head out when Sarah snapped her fingers getting his attention. She pointed to the computers. Chuck had left one of the screens on. He ran back sliding towards the desk flipping the screen off as a flashlight shone into the room. Chuck laid on his back watching the beams of the flashlights beam above him and hearing the doors being checked. Casey met Sarah outside the hanger ready to head to the next. Both looking out for Chuck as the security guards headed in the other direction. Chuck eventually came out as Sarah sighed relief. "That was close thanks dear." He went in for a kiss but was shot down. "I said later." Sarah smiled then followed Casey with Chuck taking their six. Chuck walked in seeing what looked like a factory. Chuck and Sarah went to the office looking for names. Chuck hoped to find out who was making these planes and why sell them now. So, a name was important.

Chuck noticed a paper shredder that seemed pretty full. Then he saw another small bag which surprised him that the bag was so small. He grabbed that too adding the remaining paper into that bag. Sarah brought him a manifest with the name Ratner. And a scribble that looked like a signature. They took them both and headed out.

It was close to two before they got back to their cars. Chuck gave Casey the bags as he was going to drop stuff off at Castle anyways. "We will look at this later." Casey taking the bags from Chuck. "I think we found some stuff." Sarah looking at the two. "If not, we have trackers on some of the cargo and the flight tags, we can track their flights if they leave LA."

"Good job guys." Chuck padded Casey's shoulder and blew Sarah a kiss.

Chuck pulled into the driveway. Sarah got out shutting the door quietly not to wake the neighbours. Sarah unlocked the door not turning on any lights as they headed upstairs. Within 15 minutes they had said good night and fell asleep.

Chuck quietly kissed Sarah wishing to stay. He headed to work not making any noise which meant Sarah didn't get her coffee or smoothie.

Hours later Sarah woke to a note reading it. "Good morning, miss you already. Sorry no coffee or smoothie. Wanted to let you sleep. Love you."

Chuck finished another report and was about to head down to the basement to touch base with Casey. He looked at his phone. "Coffee outside love S." He smiled texting back. 'Be there shortly.' He exited the exterior doors seeing Sarah sitting on a bench across the street. He waved slightly then looked both ways down the street then walked across. Sarah stood up to greet her husband. Chuck opened his arms giving her a warm hug then with soft kisses. Adding few more before they sat down. Sarah passed him a cup then a bag of croissants. "They're not Paris but close enough." Chuck reached into the bag grabbing a chocolate one. "What brings this wonderful surprise?" "Missed you this morning and we haven't had breakfast yet." "Missed you too. Just had to get a head start as I wanted to get back to the plane mission." "You meeting with Casey?" " I was just heading down there when you texted me. Hoping to get some answers." Chuck leaned back as Sarah leaned her head on his shoulder. "Like old times." "Yeah." "Do you wish some time that you could go back?" "You and me on campus? Sometimes. But we're here now so I guess this is pretty cool too."

Chuck took bite then a sip of coffee.

Chuck got up tossing the bag and cups into the garbage. It was a longer coffee break but so worth it. Walking back to her car, he extended his hand as Sarah grabbed it. She faced him with a kiss goodbye. "I'll be locking up tonight." "Okay I'll pop by."

"Looking forward to it." She kissed him once more then slipped inside. She rolled down her window. "You sure look hot in their car and to say that you're my wife. Makes it even hotter." "Well, you're not so bad either." He leaned in giving her one more kiss. "Thanks for coffee."

Chuck waved as Sarah sped off. A little heavy on the foot but he couldn't blame her. She earned it.

Sarah changed then walked towards the desk. She looked at the invoices and saw one from Doug. In seconds Morgan popped into sight. "Good morning, Morgan. "Good morning Mrs. Bartowski?" Sarah looked up. "What?" "Oh sorry, just liked the sound of it and you seem to be sticking around so it made sense. But if you like good morning, Sarah, it's good morning, Sarah." Even though Sarah loved the sound of her married name she had to pretend a little while longer. Morgan saw her looking at the pile. "Yeah, that Dougie guy dropped his laptop off. He's in the store." Sarah looked up seeing him looking at the tv's. "Thanks Morgan." When Doug turned and saw Sarah he walked towards the desk. "Morning Sarah." "Morning Doug. I see that you have brought back your laptop?" "Yeah, that virus came back." "Awe, sorry?" Sarah knew Doug was smart but the little things he wasn't on board. She concluded that he might have been on the spectrum, but she didn't know where exactly he fit. "So, what is wrong now?" She turned his laptop towards him as he showed her. She just stared having no clue what he was talking about. She grabbed some paper and jotted down what he was saying. When she thought he was done, she spoke. "Okay I will take it to the back and look into it. "No fix it here?" "But my tools are back there." He started to look anxious. "Okay, come with me." Sarah walked towards the back grabbing a head set and quickly dialed Chuck. When answered he knew he wasn't alone with her. "So, Doug I am going to." Chuck quickly started talking. "Click on the windows icon going into systems." Sarah did exactly what he told her to do. "Hook up the laptop to the main terminal then open your computer's security settings, navigate to 'Virus & Threat Protection,' and select 'Scan Now' to initiate a virus scan using your built-in Windows Defender, list hidden File Explorer, open file explorer then view tab, click on hidden items, click on all drives." Sarah then watched Chuck take over the computer remotely. She watched as the cursor clicked on Command Prompt typing in 'run the command: dir /a:h to list all the hidden files.' Sarah just pretended to click on the keys and check the diagnostic data coming up. Sarah could see that he was looking for a particular file. Sarah watched him catching on quickly. As he scanned Sarah coughed. Doug spoke up. "You might have a cough due to a cold." Sarah looked at him "Maybe. Could you do me a favour and grab me a drink from the machine in the lounge and grab yourself one too." Sarah reached over grabbing some cash from a stash she had. She gave him the cash and he left the room. "Okay. I'm alone but not for long. Wait, what are we looking for?"

"I need a file that I can't access. I needed to be on his actual computer to do it." Sarah looked at the files and as Chuck clicked on an unknown file, he got a file that caught her eye. "What was the name on that manifest?"

"Uh Ratner, I think."

"Look about a third down. Would that be it?" Chuck scrolled down the list seeing a name close to Ratner. It was named 'errant'/ "He used an anagram." When Chuck looked more closely, he found several others. He clicked on one and it opened up to a schematic of a design for a F-16. "Do you think he is involved?"

"Hard to say. He might not even know that these files are on here. I'm going to send them to one file. Then you need to upload them deleting the upload when you're done. Then we will reset his settings to about an hour ago. So, he'll have no idea that we were snooping." Sarah grabbed a USB and uploaded the files as Chuck reset the file. She slipped the USB into her bra while she watched Chuck delete the virus making Doug's computer virus free. Sarah said goodbye as Doug came back. She was unplugging his laptop. "So, is it fixed?" Sarah turned around. "It is but you might want to be careful on what you upload or download. Music, videos, and files can tag any virus." " I am careful." As he opened his can of pop. "Does anyone else use your laptop?" "No, but my sister uses it sometimes." Sarah opened her can. "Your sister?" "Yeah, she needed to use it for work, I guess. But she hasn't used it for a while."

"What does your sister do?" He looked up taking a sip then giving a childish laugh. "I don't know." Sarah took a sip. "That's okay." Sarah passed his laptop to him then walked him out. Sarah waited to see where he went. She watched him getting into a car. She took a photo of the licence heading back inside.

Sarah was glad that it was closing time. She cleaned up her area in the back and headed to the front seeing Chuck. He was talking to Morgan and a few others. They all giggled and squealed when Sarah walked in. Chuck said his goodbyes as he walked to the desk to greet her. "Shall we give them a show?" Sarah laughed as she placed her hand on his chest. "No, we better keep it friendly." Chuck leaned in giving her a short quick kiss on the lips. When Sarah grabbed his face. Whispering, "A little more wouldn't hurt." Sarah held his face as she kissed him back. She opened her eyes to see Morgan, Jeff, and Lester staring. Chuck composed himself feeling warm and fuzzy inside stepped back. "Almost done here." "Take your time." She was glad that they didn't close at ten every night.

Sarah came back out changed, grabbing her bag. Chuck reached for it then grabbing her hand. Sarah did a last minute look around then set the alarm. It didn't take long for the minions to leave. Sarah waited till the first set of doors close then the second set. Chuck walked her to her car when she noticed that he had parked beside her. "I have something for you?" "Do you?" Sarah slipped her hand into her blouse pulling out an USB. "Thanks anything else in there." "No." Trying to look inside her blouse. "Castle?" "It would make sense as we are already here."

They slipped into Castle. It was darker than usual. Chuck flipped the lights and sat down at the computers. He inserted the USB seeing the files on a larger screen. He looked at Sarah. "Half hour." Sarah jumped on the table beside him. "Found something interesting about Doug." "What's that?" "His sister at one point used his laptop. He didn't remember when it was. He said that she used it for work. Then I saw him get into a car. I took a photo of the licence plate." "Nice work honey." "Thanks honey." Chuck went back to the files. "Looks like someone tried to delete the files but couldn't or maybe was interrupted. It looks like a word document that saves a read only file. That is why I couldn't open it remotely." Sarah kissed the top of his head then sat down beside him. Chuck continued. "Looks like some kind of contract worth millions." Sarah took the licence number and did a search. "Chandler, Rosa. " "Mother?" "Maybe?"

Any other children. Sarah did a search. A daughter no name given." "Maybe the mother or this sister used the laptop?" "Maybe." Chuck yawned. "Times up."

"We can stay." Chuck turned to face her. "No, I haven't seen you all day and I'm tired. " "Okay let's go home."

Sarah drew a bath surprising Chuck but looking at his wife he smiled. He undressed making Sarah take notice. Chuck slipped into the hot water sitting in front of her. Sarah wrapped her legs around him as he wrapped his arms over them. Sarah pushed the water over his chest grabbing the soap and lathering his chest with soap. Chuck tilted his head to the side as Sarah bend downwards to meet his lips. They stayed close till the water lost its heat. Chuck got out first grabbing a towel wrapping it around his waist then extending his hand as Sarah grabbed it. She fell into his arms as he wrapped the towel around her wet body. He kissed each shoulder then ran his lips alongside her neck meeting her lips. It wasn't planned. Chuck lifted her up onto the counter slipping in between her legs. Their bodies still warm from the bath but this heat was steadily increasing.

Chuck slipped her towel off exposing her naked skin. He smiled then whispered. "You're so beautiful." Sarah kissed him then pulled his towel away from his hips. In seconds they were together. Their movements in sync with each other. Sarah wrapped her legs around him as he held her close. Chuck continued to move into her as she wrapped her arms around him. He scooped her up carrying her to the bed. He laid her down. As she laid back, his lips met hers. After a long day, it was a perfect way to see it go.

Weeks later

Chuck sat outside enjoying the sun for the first time in weeks since he arrived. Casey decided to take some time and spend it with Kathleen giving the team a well deserved time off even if it was for a few days. Chuck had no work at McHammond to do so waiting at work was a waste of time. Sarah called in taking advantage of some over time she earned, so it was just the two of them. Construction on the garage was almost done. It helps when the contractors and workers were CIA.

Casey made sure Chuck had an armoury storage unit and place to stash all their to go bags and spyware gear. Much safer than in the house where anyone could come across it. They also were able to build a suite upstairs. The framing was done as Chuck sat back admiring the work. Sarah watched him from the kitchen seeing that he still was on board with being in LA.

Most people dreamed of being in LA but he was the opposite. Sarah thought that maybe if he wasn't a spy by trade, it would have been a different story. Sarah finished making sandwiches and carried them outside. It would tie them over till supper where Chuck promised to BBQ. He finally threw in the white towel and asked his sister over with Devon, Morgan, and John. He was tired of hearing Ellie asking about his place. He had to finally tell her he bought a house. He just had to wait to hear what she'd say about Sarah living there too. Chuck sat up taking the tray from Sarah as she sat down beside him not before she gave him a kiss. She got settled as he passed her a plate, then taking his. They ate and enjoyed the peace and quiet in their backyard. They weren't used to things being so quiet. They had been 'on' for so long sitting quietly like this was something they needed to learn how to do again.

Chuck slid his arm around her as they sat on the lounger basking in the silence. He looked at her necklace and the rings. Sarah looked at him. "Can you take the necklace off?" Sarah continued to look at him. "Why?" "Just humour me." Sarah sat up slightly as she unclasped the necklace grabbing the two ends. She brought the necklace out draping it over her hand. Chuck took the engagement ring and placed it on her finger. "Exactly where it belongs." "What are you doing Chuck?" "I know that this will sound weird but again nothing we have done in this relationship has been by the book. So, I am again speeding things up." Sarah looked at the ring then at Chuck. "You know what this means right." "Yeah, that I am going to ask my wife to marry me again."

Sarah looked at him with such love and endearment his heart couldn't contain it. With a crackle in his voice, he held her hand. "Sarah Jenny Barton Walker Bartowski will you make me the happiest man on earth and be my wife. (Slight pause) again." Sarah turned his face so she could look at him and give him a kiss. "Of course. Yes, and as many times as you will ask me." "Well, I'm hoping that this is the last time." As their lips met, they sealed it again with another kiss. Sarah clasped the necklace back on around her neck with only one ring still dangling from it.

Chuck and Sarah stood in the kitchen preparing supper when they looked up hearing the doorbell and seeing Ellie and Devon at the door and Morgan riding up the driveway. Sarah kissed his cheek. "Smile and be gracious." Chuck walked to the door opening it up putting on a smile. "Welcome to Casa Bartowski." Ellie walked in giving Chuck a hug then walked into the living room. Devon followed as Morgan came around to the front door. "I parked my bike around the back." "That's fine buddy." Sarah came out taking off her apron greeting Ellie and Devon then Morgan. "Welcome." Sarah draped the apron over her left hand trying not to start a war of words if Ellie saw it before Chuck was ready to say something. Ellie surprised Sarah by giving her a hug which Devon slipped in on as well. Morgan felt left out so he tried to get one. Sarah felt obligated so she gave him one as well. He grinned as he approached Chuck. Chuck smiled. 'So far so good.' He thought to himself. Chuck gave a tour then headed outside. He was waiting for Ellie to say something. And no sooner there she was. "So, Sarah lives here as well?

Chuck looked at his guests. Needing a diversion, he got one. Casey walked into the back making Ellie, Devon and Morgan take a step back and Chuck avoiding answering his sister.

"Guys I would like to introduce my friend John Casey. But we call him Casey. Casey and I met in DC." Casey shook Devon's hand then Ellie then Morgan. Devon, who was on the tall side, had to look up at Casey. "So, Casey what do you do for a living?"

Chuck and Sarah both looked up, wondering what he was going to say. "I'm a Marine, was on medical leave in DC then transferred here. Just getting settled."

"A Marine awesome." Casey grunted.

Chuck started the BBQ as Sarah brought out a tray of assorted meats to cook. She looked at Chuck as she gave him the tray. They made faces at each other. Making Ellie notice. She had not seen her brother smile like that in a long time. Chuck snuggled inside Sarah's neck. Then placing a soft kiss on her lips. She returned the kiss wiping the lipstick off his lips. She headed back inside. Ellie followed. Sarah stood at the counter cutting up some vegetables when she saw Ellie approach. Sarah's mind started to wander. 'She had been on some tough missions but this one might be one she wasn't prepared for. But she did survive their first encounter at the restaurant and in a public place. Now, she was on her own territory, her own kitchen. She looked at her 'Bring it on.'

Ellie moved in like a leopard eyeing her prey, thinking that she'd win but Sarah looked at her. 'Lady whatever you have to say is nothing to what I have seen or been through.' Sarah had to stop having this monologue in her head, it was driving her crazy. Sarah continued to cut the vegetables. "Do you need any help?"

Sarah looked at her then looked around the kitchen. "Sure, the buns can be put in the bowl and taken outside." "Okay I can do that."

"Thanks."

Chuck turned off the BBQ and carried the tray to the table. Sarah had decorated it up nicely with some of the dishes she bought at IKEA. Chuck took a moment looking at his family. Each person important in their own way but still family. He smiled, then sat down grabbing Sarah's hand giving it a kiss. Devon looked at Sarah's hand being across from her. "Wow, nice ring Sarah. So that means you two are getting married?" Chuck looked at Sarah and Casey looked at his sister. Sarah felt bad for the slip up. She looked up at Chuck. "Sorry."

Chuck held onto her hand. "Guys, there was a reason that I asked you all here. Being my family and all I, we wanted to share this with you. Yes, I asked Sarah to marry me and she said yes." The reception wasn't what Chuck had hoped for but he was done with keeping this secret even if it wasn't a secret to them. Supper was quiet till Morgan started talking about work and Chuck and him in high school.

Sarah, and the boys headed inside leaving Ellie and Chuck sitting near the fire pit. Ellie waited till the door closed then looked at her brother. "Marriage Chuck, really?" Her question he was prepared but her toned not so much. It was clear by her tone; she didn't care for Sarah. When Chuck didn't answer her, she continued but her tone didn't have as much vinegar to it.

"You sure she's the one?"

Chuck looked at his sister. "I know you're looking at the timeline but when you know you know. Sarah gets me. She understands and has been there." Seeing the look on her face. "What we have it's hard to explain. It's like I have known her for years. We connected. There is a connection there." Ellie made a face. "Ok not stating the obvious, but it's more than that, it always has been. And some would say she's too young but so am I. But Ellie, you raised me to trust my instincts and I feel that she is the one. Not to sound cliché she completes me. She's my hope, my calmness and I am hers. It was like seeing her in a crowded room and the room goes silent leaving just the two of us and in that moment, I knew she was the one or could be the one."

Then they heard in the distance faint sound of Devon's voice breaking the intense conversation. "Ellie the hospital called." Ellie looked at her phone. She had missed a call. She got up and hugged her brother. "I am happy for you and if Sarah makes you feel happy and is the one I can't say otherwise. We better go. Thanks for supper." Chuck hugged her back. Sarah came outside seeing the look on Chuck's face. Ellie walked over to Sarah. "Welcome to the family if Chuck says you're the one then you're the one." Her tone seemed sincere. Ellie leaned in giving her a hug. Devon followed. Morgan came out with John. Ellie and Devon left. Casey grabbed a beer and sat down. Morgan was walking to his bike. Chuck looked up. "Hey buddy I'll drive you home." Chuck walked over to Sarah. "I'll drive Morgan home, be back shortly." He kissed her then placed Morgan's bike in the back of the truck. Morgan thanked Sarah and jumped into the truck. Chuck backed out.

Sarah sat down beside Casey. Casey passed her a beer. "You might need this or something stronger."

Sarah twisted the cap and sat back. "And I thought that Chuck was tough. His sister beats him hands down." Casey took a swig.

"Yeah, that was one of his biggest hesitations to come back here."

"I would stay in DC to if I was him."

Sarah chuckled. "Did he ever talk about her?"

Casey shook his head. "Not really, he was just glad that his spy life was never going to interfere with his real life."

"Till now."

"I wouldn't worry about his sister. You are already married to him and there is nothing she can do about that."

Casey finished his beer, then headed home.

Sarah looked outside and saw Chuck had come back and noticed he was sitting stoking the fire. She came out wrapped up in a blanket. Despite being in LA it sure cooled off at night. He looked up meeting her eyes then she was welcomed to sit on his lap. She kissed his cheeked caressing his face. She saw the worry on his face, she knew that look it was embedded in her mind. That look of worry and uncertainty. "So, I'm guessing your talk with your sister didn't go well?"

"No, I'm glad she got called in."

"So, it's obvious that the news didn't sit well with her."

"Nothing sits well with her. And this is something she wants to control. Especially when she thinks we're rushing things." Sarah tried to make a smile. "She has always been the overprotective one and when I told her I was moving to DC for work she didn't talk to me for 2 days. Those days I wished that I was back at Stanford. And going to DC it might sound harsh. I didn't have to see her disapproval. But knowing that my job wouldn't interfere or cause harm to her. I felt okay with leaving. Then with everything else, she has no idea what went on with Bryce, Jill, and Casey. Then when I told her that when I met you, I told her the truth?"

"You did what?"

"I told her when I met you, she's thinking at the Buy More I was referring to Santorini. The room was crowded and then it felt like the room dispersed and it was just you and me." Sarah smiled. "And what did she say?" "She smiled, maybe realizing what we have is real and it didn't matter how long in her eyes we have been together. I know it's hard not to tell her we have been together for almost a year. To fake our relationship."

"I wished that I had approached the situation differently when you arrived at the Buy More. I should have just said hey husband."

"No no it worked out and I shouldn't have put you in that predicament. We never talked about what you and I were going to be. And it wouldn't make sense to explain." Sarah silenced him with a kiss. Chuck lowered his head. "I guess it doesn't matter anymore." Sarah shook her head. "No. But you might want to read this." Sarah passed Chuck her phone. "Ellie sent this; she got my number from Morgan." Chuck was surprised. He focussed his eyes then started to read.'Sarah, I got your number from Morgan so I hope you don't mind. I just wanted to let you know that I am happy to hear the news. Surprised yes but I know my brother and he doesn't go into things like this without keeping in mind all the factors. It had been just the two of us for so long and so I have been very protective of him, maybe too overprotective of him. When he moved to DC I kind of lost that. Not knowing what he was doing or if he was safe. Then all of a sudden, he'd call, telling me that he was okay. I know that moving there brought him some challenges but he told me that you helped him through them. So, thanks. Despite you two moving things along quickly. I am happy that you two found each other. I can see that what you two have is one in a million. I also want to apologize for not being as supportive as I should have been. Please forgive me and again thankyou for finding my brother. Ellie.'

Chuck gave Sarah's phone back to her. Wrapping his arms around her.

Chuck came out of the bathroom seeing Sarah just wearing her CIA training t-shirt. She made him sit on the bed as she straddled him. She faced him running her hands through his wet curls. "I like it when your hair is wet. It makes funny animal shapes." Chuck smiled. Sarah ran her fingers along his broad shoulders, around his neck and chest. She kissed him softly feeling his hands on her thighs. They stayed in the moment.

Sarah slid her leg over his, basking in their late evening love making. She was surprised that he was so attentive despite what was going on and how his sister responded to their news. But this was her Chuck and no matter what was going on outside their little world he would make the effort to shut it off. He looked down at her smiling then kissing the top of her head. "Love you." "Love you too, you, okay?" He looked at her again. "Yeah, kind of wish that we weren't here." "But we are." "I know, now you know my dear wife, we'll have to have another wedding." Sarah laughed. "You're right. At least this time we can have an audience." "Your mom will be happy." "I think she's already looking at flowers." Chuck rolled Sarah onto her back, caressing her face. "I am the luckiest man on earth." "Yes, you are." Sarah laughed as his lips pressed against hers.

Chuck came down the stairs of Castle, with coffee as Sarah sat at the desk with her lap top open. Chuck came and snuck a kiss as he leaned over her looking at her screen. "Who's address is ?" Sarah tabbed back adding the right name. . "Oh, I see, Carina. Tell her I said hi."

Sarah finished typing then sent it off. "And Zondra?"

"I'm not sure where she is but I am hoping that Carina knows."

"You haven't seen her since Paris?"

"No, we email and send the odd text but she has been trying to get her feet wet as fast as she can with the DEA."

"So, they I assume will be your maid of honour and bridesmaid. I can't see Carina being a maid of honour. I think that she and Mitchel were an item."

Sarah looked up. "You think?"

"Well, the most beautiful recruit there was already taken." Sarah leaned over grabbing Chuck's shirt and bringing him in for a kiss. Chuck sat back and grinned. "I sure was. So, what about you?"

"I don't know, I don't know Devon enough for him to stand up for me so maybe Casey and of course Morgan."

"Casey to do what?" Casey walking in from the back. Sarah grabbed her coffee and stepped out. "Casey what?"

Chuck looked at him. Trying to find the words. "Spill it Bartowski?"

"I know your not one to show emotions or care about."

"What?"

"Will you be my best man for our wedding?"

Casey put his gear down and sat down. "Best man huh?"

"Only the best."

"And what do I have to do?"

"Just stand there, look the part and that's it."

"What about your bearded friend?"

"He'll be a groomsman. I think that you deserve the title of best man. In more ways than one."

Casey went quiet, too quiet. "Casey you, okay?"

Casey coughed. "Yeah, totally fine. Yeah, I can do that for you."

Casey grabbed his gear and walked away. Sarah came back in. She looked at Chuck then heard Casey's voice. "Do I have to wear a suit?"

Chuck leaned back. "Your uniform is good enough."

"Cool."

Chuck shook his head and laughed.
