43. Wake up

Makoto's POV

I'll love you though all eternity.

I'll never leave you.

I can't talk. I can barely keep my eyes open. But before I can fully even focus on the sunrise, I see her. Everything else is a blur, but she's so clear to me, just resting her head on my bed. Fast asleep. She's so beautiful. I know now, I was never alone. She was always by my side.

As my vision begins to become more clear I realise just how not alone I really am. They're all here for me. (Asleep) My friends. My bonds. My family. I won't leave them again.

Aigis just woke up. She begins to say something. I can't hear anything, but she seems excited and happy, she's waking everyone up, and they all quickly come to my bedside, with such huge smiles on their faces.

I feel my eyes beginning to close again, but I begin to hear Aigis tell me something.

"I love you."

Before I fully lose consciousness I smile.

I love you too.
