Chapter 1

Chris took a breath waking up in his dorm room and smiled at the photo of him and Riko. He sat up on his bed and sighed staring at Riko. " Hey Riko could you stop breaking into my dorm room " He asked. He went and took a shower. " Anyway Riko what do you want even thought we both were prisoners of Vlad " he said.

Riko was standing outside the bathroom door. " Oh I think of you as a brother Chris , anyway because of your hight you accepted a mission to be an elementary school student to protect one Conan edogawa aka that missing high school detective " she said. She heard the water turn off as Chris came out of the shower in the towel. She sighed noticing the scars on chris back. " still what your family did to you before vlad kidnapped you and killed them " she said as he changed into his butei uniform.

He nodded grabbing his knife and magnum hangun. He took a breath " still we shared a room just because he wanted to make you know " he said. he watched as She took a seat on his couch and noticed kinji leaving on his bike. He rolled his eyes. " Well butei killer i am going to class " he said as she laughed. He opened the door and walked to class. He noticed Riko following him. He stopped and turned to face her " anyway wanna help with the job i accepted " he asked.

Riko walked ahead of chris and placed her hands behind her back. " Nah you have it covered being part of the logi department and taking your free classes in assault " She said. She walked ahead as Chris followed. " I am pretty busy trying to defeat aria and get her to partner up with Kinji and his hestria mode " She said. She noticed Chris get a call and did not answer " hmm iu " She asked as he nodded.

Chris nodded and took a breath " yeah but i have never done any request they made and the text i got just said to back you up on your mission " He said. He walked ahead of Riko as they reached butei high. " anyway my mission starts later where i have to protect Conan edogawa maybe will meet again " he said as Riko ruffled his hair. He sighed and hugged her before walking on to campus

Meanwhile Conan had his arms crossed at the surprise vist of his mom as they ate at a diner. " mom why are you visting all of a sudden and pulling me out of school today " he asked taking a sip of his milkshake. He study his mom's face and took a breath " fine I'll drop it for now " He said as his mom went to the bathroom. He grabbed her purse and took out his mom's phone. He was about to go thou her messages when she grabbed the phone from his hands. He took a sip of his milkshake " Fine mom I'll figure it out myself " He said as she took her seat and the food arrived .

Meanwhile Chris moved into his apartment for the job of protecting conan edogawa. He took a seat on his bed and looked at the clothes he prepared that were bulletproof. He noticed the folder with all the information , he needed on Conan and his friends. " I am glad Riko gave me this file to help with the mission " he thought and picked up the file and started reading it.

The next morning Conan woke up and walked to class and watched as Genta , Ayumi , and Mitsuhiko ran over as he entered the classroom. He noticed Ai stayed at her seat. " So whats up you three " he asked. He watched as they took their seats and turned thier desks to face his. He looked around the room and noticed an extra desk. He took a breath " got it we have a new classmate and you saw who it is " he said as they nodded as the teacher entered.

The teacher coughed " all right class , we have a new student joining us " he said as Chris entered. " This is Chris mine please make sure to make him feel welcome " He said looking around the room and pointing to the empty desk. He nodded as Chris placed his bag down and took the seat. " All right now onto our lesson " He said.

Conan glanced at Chris and walked over when it was lunch time. " Whats a butei doing going to elementary school " He asked as Chris stood up and grabbed his hand. He watched as they walked to the nurse office. He saw Chris take a seat on the bed and look throu his bag. He watched Chris take out his phone and made a call and handed him the phone. He heard his mom voice and hung up. " got it my mom and dad hired you and you accepted the job " he said taking a seat on the other bed.

Chris nodded and sighed as Aria and Kinji burst thou the door. " if this is about riko , have not seen her " he said.He heard his phone ring and answered handing the phone to aria. He chuckled as conan crossed his arms. He took a breath as aria tossed his phone against the wall. " if this is about your mom i had nothing to do with i was basically did no missions for Iu and backed up riko and i don't feel like sharing what me and riko went throu at the hands of Vlad " He said.

Aria sighed and crossed her arms " Riko said the same thing but since we are here will back you up on your mission Chris " She said. She noticed Chris smilled. " and i will pay to replace your phone " She said.

She took a seat at the nurse desk. " Anyway so whats yours and riko deal since you already use her last name " She asked as Chris layed down on the bed.

Conan looked at Aria and Chris and noticed Kinji left the room. He adjusted his glasses. " Whatever just a warning Chris do your best to keep your cover or your fired. He said. He noticed Chris and Aria give him a look. " I was kidding anyway Chris head back to class whenever " He said leaving the nurse office.

Aria took a seat near Chris. " Wow what a brat " She said. She sighed " by the way mind reporting anything you know to get time off my mom prison sentence " She asked as Chris nodded sure under the blanket. She smiled " thanks by the way you knew what she did to kinji bike Chris didn't you " She asked.

Chris removed the blanket from his head. " yeah she was in my dorm after she did the crime " he said. He took a breath " listen i have no problem with you holmes 4 but will protect riko since we always have had each others backs " he said as Aria ruffled his head. He heard her whisper " your a good friend but if you hear from her tell me " He sighed and nodded fine heading back to class.

Conan after school left with Ai , Genta , Chris , Ayumi , and Mitsuhiko. He sighed some bad guys robbed a bank they were passing and grabbed him, Ai , and Chris. He noticed Chris stab the one who gabbed him with his knife and then jumped down and noticed Aria and Kinji take down the bad guys that had him and Ai. He placed his hand on his face and noticed Ai walk over as Chris , Aria and Kinji were being questioned by Ayumi , Genta , and Mitsuhiko. He noticed the cops arrived and noticed Aria explained the situation.

He looked to Ai and sighed " I'll explain at professor Agasa but i am sure you could tell Chris is a butei " He said noticing Chris walk over as Aria and Kinji finished talking to the cops and explained to the rest of the detective boys to keep sceret what happened and about Chris being a butei . He crossed his arms " Chris i have some choice words but it was a good thing you accepted this job and Aria and Kinji decided to back you up " He said as Chris nodded.

Chris stretched his arms " I would agree conan by the way at least everything worked out and anyway thier was a car nearby i could use to get everyone to safety " He said. He took a breath " anyway since your the one i am protecting I'll follow your orders like i do for riko while ignoring Iu " he said noticing a look from Aria . He noticed Conan gave a glare and pull him by the ear to professor agasa's house.
