Chapter Eleven: "It's Going to be Legendary"
Age 850: Toki Toki City
With the defeat of Demigra, Jason was mostly just hanging around Toki Toki City and the Time Nest with everyone. He still trains where he can and still tries to get Super Saiyan God, to no avail, but there hasn't been much trouble the past few days.
He also learned that the time variants within Time Patrol are referred to as Xeno, for some reason. Like Trunks is technically Xeno Trunks. Jason wasn't going to refer to him like that accept if he's talking with him near his past self on missions.
He also acquired the remainder of the custom clothes for Saiyans/Humans, along with the Time Patroller Suit, which he got from Thirith, a Capsule Corps bot that joined the newly formed Taino Force.
The Time Patroller Suit looks like the outfit Trunks wore when he first time travelled to warn the Z-Fighters about the androids but with a cloak over his shoulders and was color customizable.
Jason then got to finish his training with Gohan and Videl. They taught him mostly Videl's skills except one and they all felt like they belong to The Great Saiyaman to Jason.
He then turned to Goku as a mentor, who was super excited for it after Jason beat Demigra.
They both fought each other in Kaio-Ken for the first training session, where he learned Afterimage Strike. Then he got to the second part of his lessons with Goku, he had to fight him while injured, whittling down Goku while not falling to his own injuries, which awarded him the Spirit Bomb, the lame version he gave Krillin when fighting Vegeta in the OG timeline of events. The third part of the training had him fighting against Goku's sons, Gohan and Goten from the Buu Saga and they all fought as Super Saiyans, leading to Jason learning the 10X Kamehameha. The fourth and final part of his training with Goku had him fighting Goku, both as Super Saiyan 3 as the latter wanted to fight him at his best, and learned the Super Kamehameha.
He preferred the 10X Kamehameha, due to its power and red color, which reminds him of a full power heat vision from Superman.
There's actually multiple different variations of the Kamehameha that he'll learn, and it was a pain to go about instead of just doing them for himself.
After training with Goku, Jason got the opportunity to train with Beerus, who agreed to fight off his boredom, allowing Jason to learn his Headshot (Evasive Strike), God of Destruction's Anger (Super Blast), and Sphere of Destruction (Ultimate Blast).
Speaking of which, he divided his skills into categories; Super, which use a lesser amount of Ki. Ultimates, which use a greater amount of Ki. Evasives, which are skills to get him out of being jumped, which cost him stamina.
There's also sub-categories, like; Strikes, which are melee attacks infused with ki. Blasts, which are all his beams and blasts he fires off. Power-Ups, which give a temporary stat boost to his strength or Ki, and etc. And finally Misc, aka Other; basically any other Ki based ability that didn't quite fit into the other categories, like his Energy Charge variants or the Solar Flare.
He also got to the level where Elder Kai would work with him and Jason began to do tasks for him to do the ritual for his Potential Unleashed, or the Ultimate transformation as the Time Patrollers have taken to calling it.
While completing PQs during his training, he found these items that looked like they were from the Time Chasm he fought Demigra, that he has come to call Time Chasm Crystal Shards.
"Maybe I can ask Trunks or Chronoa about what they are", Jason mutters to himself before heading back to the Time Nest where they usually spend their free time.
Time Nest
He enters in to see Chronoa before the small bond with Toki, while Trunks was over by the house to the right.
Jason heads over to Trunks and greets him, "Hey, Trunks".
Trunks looks to him, "Oh, hey Jason", Trunks waves, "Looks like you came at the right time. I felt a strange Ki heading to the Time Vault. I have a bad feeling about this".
"Then let's go", Jason says before they rush on in.
Time Vault
The duo headed in, where Chronoa was already waiting for them, Trunks looks around and grabs a scroll.
"Look at this...", he holds up the scroll as purple energy leaks from it, "History is about to be distorted. I wonder... what is about to happen?".
"And I wonder how it's happening", Jason remarks, "Demigra is gone, along with Mira, while Towa is on the backfoot".
"The wormhole... That's probably what's to blame", Chronoa offers as an idea as to why.
"Wormhole? What's that?", Trunks asks her.
"It's like a tunnel, one that connects different dimensions together", Chronoa explains, "Except here's the problem, anyone who gets sucked into a wormhole, is sent to an alternate dimension".
"If that happens, history will be completely messed up!", Trunks remarks in a panic.
"I see now. Demigra has timed his magic attack so he can cause confusion and distortion of time and space", Chronoa theorizes, "Dammit... What a nightmare...".
"At this rate, there will be another change in history", Trunks tells Jason, "We have to find the wormhole and destroy it!"
"Agreed", Jason tells him.
"I'm counting on you", Chronoa tells them.
"Yeah!", "Let's do it!", Trunks and Jason agree.
Age 737: In The Orbit of Planet Vegeta
Bardock, father to Goku aka Kakarot, faced off against a squad of Evilized Frieza Force Soldiers, beaten and weary but still ready to fight.
Just then, Jason appears in the Time Scroll clock-gear light, before attacking one of the goons.
"Hm? What's that?",Bardock questions before shaking it off as he joins in the fight.
{"Amazing... That's... Bardock!"}, Trunks remarks in excitement, {"He's Goku's father". Bardock fought Frieza's amy until the very end... If this doesn't go just right, history will never be the same. Help him!"}, Trunks tells Jason.
Jason knocks away one of the goons away from Bardock that was sneaking up on him, which Bardock notices.
"Well... You seem to be on my side", Bardock remarks, along with noticing Jason's tail, "All right! Let's show them what a team of Saiyans can do!"
The duo continue to beat on the small fry, with Bardock having more trouble than Jason due to the difference in experiences and strength.
Jason was also actively avoiding using Super Saiyan and it's next levels for the sake of the Timeline. Frieza was watching and Jason didn't need to give him confirmation that the legends are true just yet.
Jason soon started spamming his Ki Blast attacks to deal with the swarm, as while they weren't strong enough for him, their were a lot. He didn't know how many he defeated before Bardock yells out to the mothership.
"Frieza! Get out here!", Bardock yells out for the warlord, "I won't ever forgive you!"
It was at this time that Frieza floats out of the whip in his first form, technically his most sealed state, with a flash of Evilization and leaves his hover throne thing behind to float before Bardock.
"Why the hell are you attacking us, Frieza?!", Bardock demands of the short tyrant, "We did what you wanted... We followed all of you orders! And now this?!"
"I decided to exterminate the Saiyans... along with Planet Vegeta", Frieza plainly states, with a hint of cruelty.
"You Saiyans were just being used. You were nothing but tools", one of the remains Trieza Force members taunts Bardock.
"What...?!", Bardock angrily asks.
Jason then gets another transmission from Trunks, {"That's odd... Frieza should have destroyed Planet Vegeta without ever bothering to fight Bardock. Try fighting Frieza"}.
"Right", Jason mutters to himself as he prepares to charge the tyrant only for Bardock to get angry.
"Damn you!", Bardock yells to Frieza.
Frieza merely laughs in turn, "Heh heh heh heh. It seems this will be the last time I'll gaze upon this planet".
"I won't... forgive you!", Bardock growls in growing rage, charging in with Jason to fight Frieza.
Jason was having an easy time with this, as this version of Frieza was nowhere near as strong as his true (final) form self at full power and with Evilization.
As he and Jason was beating down the tyrant, Bardock realizes something.
"This changes everything... The fate of Planet Vegeta... It changes my fate... Kakarot's fate...", he utters as he then glares at Frieza, "And... your fate! This is the end!"
"Heh...", Frieza smirks in condescending joy, "Hehehehe...".
Frieza raises his right index finger and a bright yellow orb forms above it that Jason easily recognizes.
"Hahahahahahaha...", Fireza laughs as the orb grows in size to it resembles a miniature sun with purple lighting flowing around it, it is Frieza's Ultimate Ki Blast Skill, Supernova.
Fireza flicks his finger forward like a king giving a command and the Ki ball falls towards Bardock and Planet Vegeta.
"Uwaaaah!", Bardock yells, preparing to die in vain to stop the orb before a wormhole opens up where he was right before the blast could destroy him, taking him away just before the orb collides with the planet and leaving it to be destroyed as Frieza laughs.
Age 850: Time Vault
Jason soon appears before Chronoa and Trunks unscathed.
"I... I'm so glad! Welcome back!", Trunks says in worry, "I thought... I thought you were caught in the explosion!", scratching the back of his head as he sighs, "Good job. It seems we managed to protect this era".
"Aside from Bardock went through at the end", Jason remarks.
"Yeah... that black hole that swallowed Bardock...", Trunks looks down in thought while holding his chin.
"Yes, that's the wormhole", Chronoa adds on.
"So, then we have to hurry and follow the wormhole that swallowed Bardock", Trunks says with conviction, before looking to the Time Scrolls, "But I don't sense anything suspicious in the scrolls.
"Demigra isn't controlling it directly, so you might not sense it like before", Chronoa remarks before pointing up to the swordsman Saiyan, "Okay, Trunks, you mind checking it out for me!".
"Check that? How am I supposed to do that?", Trunks asks her in disbelief.
"Looks like you'd have to read them", Jason tells him.
"Right", Chronoa nods in agreement.
"Um, what time period is it?", Trunks asks her, to make his workload easier.
Chronoa turns her back to him, "How should I know? I asked out to figure it out. Hop to it!".
"Each and every one of these scrolls?!", Trunks cries out, "You mean... all of them?", gazing to the hundreds, if not thousands, of scrolls within the Time Vault.
"Mm-hm!", Chronoa confirms, "Good luck with that! I'll let you know when I find out anything too!"
"Ha... Heh hahaha!", Trunks laughs in a panic, while Jason had vanished so he doesn't share his fate, "I hope he comes back", he moans as he got to work on radig the scrolls.
Sometime Later, Toki Toki City
Jason had decided to work on Elder Kai's "trials" to get him to give him the Ultimate transformation. It was basically him going on missions along with and training with any female in Toki Toki City. It was a massive hassle as Elder Kai was extremely critical of him and it felt like days if now weeks he's been doing this till the old man caved after subjecting him to fighting an Evilized version of himself.
"Alright, well done, you've faced yourself well...You've done well in defeating your ambitious ego that was gaining momentum within you!", Elder Kai congratulates, "Hm! I don't sense any bad vibes from you now! It looks like you've gained power sufficient to accept my ritual! Good! Time for the ritual to bring our your inner powers!".
"Alright, let's go!", Jason cheers.
"..or so I thought, but...", Elder continues, downpouring on Jason's excitement, "Extracting your inner ego has left me a bit tired. I can't conduct the ritual like this. It takes up a lot of power, so... maybe wait a little longer for me to recover".
Jason sighs before deciding to go back to Trunks, to see how fr along he is.
Time Vault
Jason arrives to the Time Vault to see Trunks hunched over the central table, gazing at a scroll.
"Hey!", Jason loudly announces his presence.
"Huh?!", Trunks lets out and looks behind him with his bloodshot eyes to see Jason, "Oh, it's you", he tiredly rasps out as he calms down and gazes to the scroll, "I found it..", before looking back to Jason, "It seems that the change in history is about to occur", he sighs, "I don't know what exactly, but can you head on over there?"
"You got it", Jason salutes before leaving with the scroll
Age 774: Northern Mountains Area
Jason arrives on the snowy mountains overlooking an ice filled lake, with boths sheets of ice a glaciers, where he could see Videl, who was surprisingly in a dress, along with Kid Trunks and Goten.
They were facing off against a man that was a wall of muscle that had greenish-golden hair. A Super Saiyan of some kind that Jason had never seen before.
The man growls and flexes, releasing his energy with Evilization, "Kakarot!", his blank eyes now glowing red like a Great Ape.
{"That's the Legendary Super Saiyan... B... Broly!"}, Trunks utters in fearful awe, {"This is... This is from an alternate timeline. But w-where's Bardock? H-He's gone?!"}, before fighting himself, {"Wait, never mind him...! Where's Gohan? He should be here at this point in time to save everyone...! An Evilized Broly will kill everyone here! Please, protect everyone till Gohan arrives"}.
Jason soon rushes in to fight this Legendary Super Saiyan.
"KAKAROT!", the bigger man yells out in a blind rage.
"Kakarot Is that some kind of food?", Goten asks in confusion, as he knows not his father's Saiyan birth name, who he shares a massive resemblance to.
"You monster! Why are you thinking about food at a time like this?!", Kid Trunks admonishes.
Before Broly can speed blitz the dumbass kids, Jason appears and spin kicks Broly in the head.
"Back up, you dumbass kids!", Jason retorts, "Let me handle this".
"What?! Are you making fun of us just because we're kids?! Screw you!", Kid Trunks screams at him, angry at being treated like a little kid, despite very much being one, and joins in on the fight with Goten alongside him.
The kids went Super Saiyan to face this foe before them, with Jason staying in his base form to gauge Broly's strength. Broly, on the other hand, was gunning for Goten because he reminded him of Goku.
"What's with him? Is he insane?", Videl asks herself aloud about Broly's behavior as she focuses mostly on dodging the unstoppable Saiyan brute.
Jason was also dodging while dealing gut and head attacks, but to no avail. The kids were also uselessly fighting hand to hand till Brly grabbed them by their heads and smashed them together, before throwing Kid Trunks away. Broly goes to fire a gree ki ball directly at Goten, but Jason comes in with a uppercut kick to his chin and freeing Goten to retreat.
"What was that...?", Broly asks, seemingly shrugging it off.
{"Ugh, it's no good! All those attacks aren't doing anything at all!"}, Trunks gripes, "Because of the change in history, Broly's powers have multiplied... Right now, no matter how much he's attack, we can't defeat him! But I know things will be different once Gohan arrives!"}
"Gee, thanks for the confidence in me", Jason retorts back to Trunks, just as Gohan arrives.
Gohan lets out a gasps at the sight of the man before him, "Broly... You're alive!", he remarks at the sight of the man before him that dealt him some heavy trauma at the beating he received as a child at Broly's hands.
{"Alright! Gohan's here!"}, Trunks cheers.
Gohan waves over to Videl, "Videl, stay back. I'll take it from here!"
"A-All right", Videl accepts, "Please be careful... Gohan", before flying away from the area
"KAKAROT!", Broly cries out in rage.
Gohan looks to the behemoth, "i get it. You're after dad... But.. he's not here anymore...", as this was the time period where Goku was dead before the Buu Saga, "I'll do it! I'll defeat you in his place!"
"Wow...", Kid Trunks remarks in awe at Gohan's conviction.
Jason was surprised his partner didn't do the same.
All the Saiyans were then Super Saiyans and launched at the LSS known as Broly.
The kids were easily being manhandled by the massive man, but the more fully grown Saiyans were putting up more of a fight. Gohan and Jason, thanks to his training with his counterpart in Toki Toki City, were fighting Broly with experty time coordination before Jason fires a...
"Super Kamehameha!", Jason yells and fires a powerful variant of the Kamehameha directly on Broly, causing the brute to smash into the ground next to the lake.
the beaten and battered Broly gets to his knee, when a black spot appears around him and sucks him away.
["No! The wormhole...!"}, Trunks complains as Broly vanishes, {"Let's go get them!"}, leaving Jason to vanish in the Time Scroll time travel.
With the kid Saiyans from the fight, they were talking amongst themselves.
"Say, Trunks, there was one more person, right?", Goten asks the one year elder kid, "I wonder where'd that person go".
"Hmm...", Kid Trunks crosses his arms in thought like his father, "Maybe they went ahead to that village and started eating", he suggests.
"Probably!", Goten agrees
Age 850: Time Vault
"Bardock, and Broly, too...", Trunks remarks at the situation, "It seems... history is changing drastically".
"I know", Chronoa agrees with her hands in her hips, "I mean, there should at least be a time where both of them have appeared though", she theorizes.
"Yes. Somewhere...", Trunks agrees, crossing his arms like his younger self, "It's... Somewhere..."
Later Again
Jason went to find Elder Kai for the form. Elder Kai, dragged him back to the Time Nest, for the atmosphere most likely.
"Alright, let's begin the ritual", Elder Kai announces, "You just stand right there. Don't move, ya hear."
"Got it", Jason affirms.
"Here I go!", Elder Kai announces before he begins to bums his arms up and down like he's running while he does short-step walking lunges around him counter-clockwise, "Hm Hmm Hmmmm! Hmm Hmm Hmmm!", he hums as he does so.
Hours later, Jason was crouching on the ground as Elder Kai continues with the ritual.
Even longer after that, Jason was lounging on the ground, seemingly asleep.
"*huff* *huff* *wheeze* Th-There...! The ritual is complete!", Elder Kai pants out, bring Jason back from his dreams.
Jason flexes his hand as he gets up some, "Um, I don't feel anything".
"Huh? You don't feel any power up, you say?", Elder Kai asks, "Idiot! It's only the ritual that ended! from here, it takes another 20 hours to complete your power up
Nearly as Many Hours Later
Jason was lounging before the Elder Kai as he sat on the ground before Jason, holding his hands out to him.
"Is it done yet?", Jason asks, getting bored of this long ass process.
"Hm? "Is it done yet"?", Elder Kai repeats, "You don't have any patience, do you?", before looking deep into Jason, "Let's see, it should be another minute. You can move once the minute has passed. But be careful not to move before then, or we'll have to start all over again".
Wincing at the thought of that, Jason stiffens and doesn't move.
Jason counts down and gets up a second after reaching a minute.
"...Hm? What's wrong? Do you need to use the bathroom?", Kai asks, "Go ahead. It's been over for a while already".
Jason's brow twitches in annoyance, "Why didn't you say that earlier?", he growls out.
"Not my problem. It's your fault for not asking", Elder Kai retorts.
'Don't soccer kick this old man's head off, Jason. He's a god of importance', Jason thinks to himself to calm down.
"Well, this is the end of the ritual", Elder Kai declares, "That means there isn't anything else I can do for you. With that power, just keep training and do your best".
Jason gets out of there and heads to do some PQs to test out the Ultimate before heading back to the Time Vault
Time Vault
Trunks was tired as fuck when Jason arrived, but he found the scroll.
"There is...", he gets out before righting himself, "It seems, the change in history is about to start", he looks to Jason, "Let's settle this.. once and for all. Please...!".
"I got it from here", Jason tells him before grabbing the scroll and vanishing.
Age 762: Exploding Namek
An Evilized Broly gazes with utter hatred at Bardock, who looked a lot like his son. Jason soon arrives and takes a stance with
"Kakarot...", Broly groans out as he gazes at the two Saiyans before him.
{"T-This is Namek?!"}, Trunks remarks at the location, {"That's it! Demigra... He wants Broly to attack Goku here!"}
"Hey", Bardock calls out to Broly, "What do you want with my kid?"
"KAKAROT!", Broly rages and charges the father of his hated foe.
Bardock dodges away, leaving Broly to crash into a nearby mountain, "Heh, he doesn't know who I am, or where he is...", he gazes to the Legendary Super Saiyan, "Whatever. I won't let you pass!".
{"Bardock... can see the future and knows the situation here"}, Trunks shares with Jason, {"Please. Help Bardock against Broly"}
"Kakarot has the critical responsibility of defeating Frieza", Bardock remarks as he prepares to fight Broly, "He's fighting for the Saiyans... for everyone who died on Planet Vegeta", before rushing for the brute with Jason, "I will not... let you interfere with Kakarot!"
"Kakarot... KAKAROT!", Broly yells out as he then charges the two other Saiyans.
Bardock and Jason enter a dual combo and Broly's torso, who didn't even block or dodge in his blind rage.
Jason clapped on his ears before socking Broly in the throat, before Bardock came in and fired a blast into Broly's back. Broly spins around and grabs hold of Bardock, spinning him around and smashing him into the ground repeatedly, but before he could throw him into a volcanic cliff, Jason comes in and fires a Solar Flare, blinding the bigger man.
Broly recovers and stares down the duo, but before any of them could act, they all vanish from Namek.
Earth, Central Plains Area, Gizard Wasteland
The Saiyan trio then reappear in the wastelands of Earth.
{"The Dragon Balls!"}, Trunks exclaims, {"Everyone, except for Goku and Frieza, was teleported to Earth using Porunga!"]
Bardock was taken out of it, being in a new area, that he wasn't prepared for Broly to appear before him and sucker punch him into the distant.
Broly looks to Jason, who enters into his Ultimate state.
Jason's Ultimate form didn't physical change him, like Super Saiyan with his hair. But his form gave off a whitish glow along with his Ki. The glow made it seem like he was slick and greased up with baby oil, even his hair and clothes, despite being completely dry.
{"I'm worried for Bardock, but we have to deal with Broly first! You have to defeat him here before he can rampage"}, Trunks tells him.
Jason unleashes a Galick Gun in Broly's face before side kicking away. Jason then Intstand Transmissions behind him and fires off a Perfect Kamehameha in Broly's back.
Unaware to Jason, Bardock had run into Vegeta. He then convinces him to use a certain skill he has for him.
Broly straight punches at Jason, which he blocks, but is sent flying back a bit and prepares to charge the lager Saiyan.
Only for a Great Ape Bardock to land between them and roars at Broly.
"What?", Broly asks in confusion, taken aback by a Great Ape form.
Jason suspects what happened, but was going to risking looking to confirm and rushes Broly with his Great Ape ally. Bardock fights hi in close while, Jason uses Instant Transmission for drive-by blast attacks
Crouching off to the side was Vegeta, who had used the Power Ball for Bardock to become a Great Ape, who then had destroyed it so Broly couldn't use it.
"They're fighting the Legendary Super Saiyan", Vegeta stands, "Why is it? Why am I so afraid?!", he releases his Ki in anger, "I am Vegeta!", before charing straight in to join the fight against Broly, "I am the Prince of all Saiyans!".
Soon, this trio of mismatched powered Saiyans were fighting the Legendary Super Saiyan from another timeline with all they had. Jason was the main vanguard while the others were more of support due to how much weaker they were in comparison, at this time.
Jason a triple spin kick to Broly's head before unleashing a Evil Explosion in his face. Jason then grabs the LSS's hair and begins to rapidly kneeing him in the face before Instant Transmissioning away to avoid being grabbed by Broly.
"Ka... Me... Ha... Me...", Jason chants as he charges up to end the fight, "HA!", and fires the Ki Beam at Broly, till he falls to the ground.
The evil energy leaves the now defeat Legendary Super Saiyan as he lays there.
Soon after, Great Ape Bardock falls face first tot he ground before transforming back to normal.
"It.. it serves you right...", Bardock grunts out to Broly, before passing out himself.
vegeta lands to the ground with wide-eyes, "W-What happened? D-Did it... Did the monster die?", but before he could get answers, he was knocked out by a newly arrived Trunks, with a chop to the neck.
"No. He's only unconscious", Trunks answers while checking on his father for a second then looking to Jason, "Don't worry. i'll take care of everything else".
Age 850: Time Nest
Jason was at the entrance to the Time Nest from Toki Toki City with Trunkes, Tokitoki and Chornoa while Chornoa explains.
"The wormhole was destroyed in the same explosion that took out Namek", she informs him, "All is well that ends well, I guess".
"The Legendary Super Saiyan...", Trunks remarks abut Broly, "He had an amazing amount of power for his era".
"I saw that", Chronoa remarks, "He seemed to be a pretty tough opponent for someone who defeat Demigra".
"Bardock looked identical to Goku, so he drew his rage from the real Goku", Trunks adds on.
"But Bardock has that bad boy kind of attitude, right?", Chronoa comments, "He's so dreamy. I wonder if he has a girlfriend".
"He has a wife...", Trunks says, dashing her fantasies.
"Eeeeek!", Tokitoki admonishes, flying over and pecking at her head,
"Ah!", she screams, waving at him to leave, "Stop that, Tokitoki. I was just kidding, ya know."
Trunks laughs while Jason chuckles.
"Though, I am curious about the differences between Super Saiyan and Legendary Super Saiyan", Jason says aloud.
"They're a separate line from each other, a mutation that appears once every thousand years", Chronoa explains, "At least, that's one of the theories. Other's say it's just the true form of Super Saiyan that anyone can get. No one knows for certain, even me".
"Huh", Jason utters in thought about the form.

Legendary Super Saiyan was introduced this chapter, so...
Legendary Super Saiyan (100x Base, Overflowing Ki): Similar to a Super Saiyan but with a green tint to the hair. The aura is a greenish-yellow aura. The body gains muscle mass and height, not losing anything like grade 2 and grade 3 forms.
Full Power Legendary Super Saiyan / Berserker Super Saiyan (500x Base, Overflowing Ki, Low Sanity): same as LSS, more muscle mass (Hulking), blank eyes
Legendary Super Saiyan 2 (200x Base, Overflowing Ki): Looks similar to SS2 but with slightly more muscle & height (less so than LSS) and a green tint to the hair. Unlike normal SS2, there is no electricity coming from the user.
