A/N- This is an alternate yet related version of events depicted in A Strange Airport Encounter. Again, it is primarily set between College Kings Episode 3 and College Kings 2 Episode 1. Also again, as per A Strange Airport Encounter, the main character of College Kings and the sequel does have a default name. Unlike A Strange Airport Encounter though, this short story will feature the default/original name. I'd like to say again that it is a game that I find engaging in terms of story.
A/A/N- Once again, I do not own College Kings or Warhammer.

Summary- As a College student, his friends and teachers return from Europe, a mysterious stranger watches from afar...
Alex returned to America with his friends from San Vallejo College and their two teacher chaperones. They'd been to Europe where they had visited London for about a week, then they had been on a ferry to Calais. From Calais they'd been driven to Paris and after about a week there, they had made their way to Amsterdam, where they had spent another week there too, and they'd just gotten off the plane from there.
Alex looked at his friends and teachers as they gathered in a small but loose huddle. Mr Lee spoke to the group with purpose. "I know we've just returned and we were on the plane for a long time but I feel we should have a stretch. We've probably not moved around for a long time and so, before we return to campus, feel free to explore the airport. You'll have an hour at most to explore so make sure you are at the luggage collection point as soon as that hour is up. Now, enjoy yourselves."
If he'd any money left, he would've wanted to buy his friends some gifts. He would've especially bought the girls some fancy-ish gifts, mostly to show them how much he appreciated them but also partly to try calm the almost overflowing, boiling tensions between the members of the Chicks sorority temporarily at least. However, as it was, he found himself walking towards a surprisingly, relatively quiet airport cafe.
He found himself purchasing the cheapest item he could, which was a small bottle of water, and found himself sitting at a table. Alex contemplated all the drama he'd experienced since he started college and he could only slide his hands down his face as though he was wiping sweat off from it. "I swear that my life has been one really fucked up rollercoaster since I started attending San Vallejo College. I'm struggling to think who I've not been with out of all of the girls who I know really well. Man, all of this just a fucking mess." Alex remarked to himself.
Unbeknownst to Alex, he was being watched by a man wearing a smart-casual white suit. The man watched Alex carefully from a distance but saw him as clearly as if he were right in front of him. He pondered his next move when a voice spoke in his ear, revealing a near invisible earpiece. "Keep an eye on the boy but do not make contact. Our comrades have made with one of his variants."
"We're not going to act further?" The man questioned confusedly.
"No. For the time being, he is to be observed. The Council has ordered that diversions for the upcoming plan must be kept to an absolute minimum." The voice on the other end of the call said.
"If we're attacking his reality, shouldn't we make sure he's still there?"
"He's not there at the moment. In fact, rumours from our comrades suggest he's actually in another universe, killing Devil Kings, Gods and Fallen Angels."
"Really?!" The man asked in surprise.
"Indeed. Just make sure that nothing... rocks the boat, with regard to our future plans. We also don't know the status of the other one."
"Very well, I'll keep my distance." The man replied, and with a huff he left the airport. The man's thoughts turned towards the multiversal war to come. No one was to be spared from it.
Alex didn't know he was now a part of events to come. At that moment, he was just concerned about upcoming events at his college.
A/N- I hope you've enjoyed this little short story and please review. There'll be more to come soon.
