Hell's Angel
Greetings everyone, this will be my first attempt at writing a cross over, as well as my first dip into the MHA and Hellverse fandoms. This story will revole around what happens when a pure soul finds itself in hell.
I will still be working on many of my other stories as well but with my writer's block on many of them I felt it better to back away for a moment and regroup with something new.
As always, Please. Read Review and Enjoy!
Chapter 1; The End
It was such a clear beautiful day, almost mockingly so Izuku mused to himself as he felt the breeze that being 8 stories up brought. As was the boy's nature he double checked the list of things that he needed to to.
"Shoes on a power line, notes of apologies to anyone who would actually care, alley where no one can actually see me land, and not a hero around in sight..." Izuku said with a sad smile, "time for the last, litteral step." And step he did.
The rush of wind triggered the final flood of memories said to happen when one meet's their final end. The years of heart break and torment for his quirklessness all blured together up until his meeting with All Might where the last of his hope died. Izuku could't even find it in himself to be mad at the man, to see the state that he was in proved his point and unlike others he at least gave him options.
The true nail in his future coffin was coming home and over hearing his mother talking to his father. Hizashi Midoriya had been a none entity in the home ever sense Izuku was diagnosed, up until he was 7 anytime he asked about the man his mother would just say he was working over seas, after that she told him that the had gotten divorced and he wouldn't be coming back. Just another lie, like her work trips.
"I miss you too love and I can't wait to see you!" Inko said quitely, as if listening for something, only then did it occur to Izuku that he always knocked before coming into thier apartment. "It's just three more years then I can join you permanently... Hizashi please, I know how you feel but Izuku is still our son... my son then, I do still care for him and want to set him up before... No dear I already told you as soon as he's an adult I'll cut all ties with him..."
He hadn't bothered to listen to anything after that, just quietly left his bag by the door and slipped away. Even his mother. That was when it was decided, not only could he never be the hero he wanted to be he was actually hurting those he care about just for existing.
At least his death would be painless.
Izuku opened his eyes not entirely sure what he was expecting to see. being one who thirsted for knowlege of all kinds he had looked into verious religions. None of them mentioned anything like this. Where ever he was looked like any other city, granted with sharper edges and much darker bricks, and the sky was oddly clear in spite of the blood red coloring. It was the pentagram on the moon that confirmed he was in hell.
"I guess it make's sense," Izuku said with a sad smile, "many religions frown apon suicide."
The sound of honking drew his attention to a car zooming by, "Get off the streets ya Fucken moron! Don't ya know what day it is?"
Izuku blinked. That man was covered in black and yellow fur and his head was a burning exposed skull, and while his first thought was that it was a quirk he was reasonably sure that they didn't follow you into death. Did that mean that people changed after death, maybe to reflect the life they lived before... he grit his teeth, doing what he could to curb his old habit.
That did raise a question however, walking over to the closest window Izuku took the time to really get a good look at himself. Truth be told not much had changed; his dark green hair was a shade or two lighter and longer that he remembered, his already pale skin now slightly ashen and his eyes now a slightly glowing neon green with his pupils now somehow a white gold color. He still wore the school uniform that he died in but his back was slightly deformed.
Before he could remove his shirt to see what was making his back look like that a bell rang out, long and loud which brought with it the sounds of mad cackling and screams.
Running down the road all Izuku could see were what looked like winged robots flying down and attacking anyone they could. In death as he was in life he was timid and struggled to move at first, his mind going a mile a minute trying to figure out what was happening, how ever a scream drew his attention.
Two women, one slightly older looking than the other, were about to be killed. In his mind Izuku knew that simply being in hell ment that more than likely both were evil, but his heart and soul didn't agree. His body didn't either as he moved without thought and without hearing the sound of his jacket being ripped off.
Charlie was NOT having a good time right now. She had been following up on who she hoped would be a backer for her hotel only to find that it was just a crule joke, one of many that had been happening lately, and now she was in the middle of Pentagram City at the start of Extermintation day.
Razzle and Dazzle were doing what they could to keep her safe but with so many exterminator around and her trying to help as many of her people as she could it was a quickly losing battle. 'I should have listened to Vaggie!' Charlie thought to herself as she ducked into an alley with a fightened Odette Carmine. "You're ok," she hushed the younger girl, "Just stay quite and we'll find a way out of this."
"I wouldn't count on it demon filth!" an exterminator screeched before being tackled by... another angel.
A pair of snow white wings unfirled around Charlie and Odette as Izuku said, "Are you two okay?" Izuku asked, only to get confused and terrified looks from the both.
"What do you think you're doing?!" the exocist asked as she readied her weapon again, "Who are you and why are you out of uniform?"
"Uniform?" Izuku asked only just now noticing his new additions, "Oh wow I have wings?! Does that make me an angel, but then why am I in hell? Well, obviously the suicide but when why an angel and not-"
"Quit you're muttering and answer the question!" the exterminator demanded, not liking how long this was taking, they had one day a year to purge the foul things from existance and this boy was taking that from her.
Sensing the anger from her Izuku gulped slightly but didn't back down, "I-I am Izuku Midoriya. I don't know what's going on but I can't let you hurt them..." The robotic face morphed into a snarl as the exocist dove forward intent on skewering all three. Izuku didn't know if he could die twice, though the horrified looks of the two behind him really didn't fill him with confedence. All he knew was that he couldn't let the two behind him get hurt.
There were a lot of things both Izuku and the exocist were expecting, mostly pain and blood shed, but the spear she was using snapping in half wasn't one of them. As it was happening a feeling that Izuku couldn't explain was filling him. Like he was actually drawing strength from something around him. More that that was that he could feel it more in his eyes than anything.
"What?!" the exterminator shouted in shock before turning to the thing before her, only to freeze in place. Glowing orbs of green and gold left her feeling as though all the world had vanished.
"I Won't let you hurt them."
The voice almost echoed around the exterminator as her eyes remained locked on the ones before her, her mask doing nothing to stop what ever was happening to her. Then she began to experiance it, a memory that was hers but was... wrong. The first one was her first kill, one of her fondest memories of her time as an exocist, but she was seeing it from the eyes of her prey. No, her victim. She could see some of his memories as the spear was coming down, killing his wife in a rage after finding out that not only was she cheating on him with his brother, but none of the five kids he had been killing himself to feed and clothe were his.
In a flash she was another sinner, a woman who in life lied constantly to get what she wanted. A woman who everyone she ever trusted ruined her.
A drug dealer who was paying for a sick mother. A street walker who had been sold by her father. A man who killed himself because he couldn't stop the voices in his mind. More souls who had taken the wrong path only because they hadn't a choice or had no one who was willing to teach them any better.
Finally gaining the use of her form again and scared beyond reason the Exocist flaired her wings and flew off as fast as she could.
Izuku quickly grabbed his face, his eyes feeling as though they were on fire. Charlie saw this and ran up to him. "Are you okay?" She asked in worry. It didn't really matter to her that he was what looked like an angel and she didn't really think about what it was that he did to the exterminator. All that mattered to her was that he had stepped in and saved them both.
Odette was shocked that the princess was helping an angel but she pushed it aside for now. He had saved her and mother had taught her that you returned the treatment that you are shown. Gathering the broken fragments of the angelic spear she said, "Mother should be around here somewhere, if we can find her we can find a safe place to lay low."
"I-I'm fine," Izuku said as he rubbed his eyes a bit before getting a good look at both women. One was dressed in a bright red suit with a face that looked like a puppy like doll, her soft yellow eyes matched her hair and absolutly radiated kindness. The other was dress like a scienist with a lab coat and her hair in a high and tight ponytail with red glasses covering her equally red eyes.
Having skin as pale as his was now mean that the blush that covered his face was made all the brighter. 'I'm talking to girls!' he thought to himself before shaking it off, and ignoring the giggles from the two. "You said your mother was close to here, do you know where?" he asked as he looked around, passivily feeling... something all around him.
"She shouldn't be too far," Odette said as she examined the broken spear, part of her wanted to take it with them but in the state that it was in it was next to useless. That raised another question, how did the boy before her manage to Break a holy weapon?
"What is that?" Izuku asked.
"You don't know what a holy weapon is?" Odette asked in shock.
"How do you not know that?" Charlie asked, just as stunned. Everyone knew what holy weapons were... unless, "Um... just who are you and... how long have you been in hell?"
Izuku looked down in mild shame, not entirly sure if he had done something wrong. "I-I'm Izuku Midoriya and I just got here..."
Charlie's jaw dropped while Odette had to clarify, "Just got here, like in the last few days?"
"Um... last few minutes..." Izuku said with another blush.
Neither woman had anything they could say. Was this poor boy's luck so bad that he found himself in Hell the DAY of Extermination day?
Izuku turned suddenly as he felt a sudden rush of... something. What ever it was he could tell it was bad. Something none present could handle even as a group. Following his instincts Izuku turned about face, grabbed both women by the waists, and somehow took off.
"The hell are you doing?!" Odette asked, almost dropping the spear pieces.
"I don't know why but I could feel something coming, something bad." Izuku said in a rush, doing his best to ignore the panic of one; flying for the first time and two; holding two women. At this point he was just trying to not pass out with all the blood rushing to his face. "I'm not sure we could have handled it and didn't want to risk your lives."
While Odette was stunned Charlie was heartwarmed. "Thank you for that Izuku. I'm Charlie by the way. Charlie Morningstar."
"Odette Carmine," Odette said as she scaned the area looking for her mother or sister. "There, in that alley. It's Clara!" As calmly as he could Izuku landed.
"Odette!" yelled the woman in anger and relief, pulling her sister into a tight hug before looking her over repeatedly. "Where were you? Are you okay? Did any of those assholes see you?" While Clara was going off on her mild rant Izuku couldn't help but compare her to her sister. Unlike Odette, Clara was far more libiral in her clothes. Going for simply shorts with tube top, with her curly white hair sitting almost like cream on her slightly ashen mocha skin. "Oi, you muttering over there, who the hell are you?"
"S-Sorry," Izuku said while looking down, "I'm still trying to break myself of that habit."
"He saved us," Odette said calmly as she walked over to the boy, "I don't know how but he was able to break a holy spear and made an exterminator flee by... Wait, how did you make her run off?"
While Clara was was staring in shock and awe, and a mild bit of horror, Izuku brought his hands up to his face. "I have no idea!" he said, "All I know is that I looked into her eyes and could suddenly feel myself somehow doing something. I was getting stronger while she looked terrified."
"Um, while this is something that we'll need to figure out soon, I don't think now is the time." Charlie said as she looked around. "This place is still swarming with Exterminators and while I'd be happy to have us hide out in the Happy Hotel, it's a long way off."
"Don't worry about us," Clara said, "Mama has a place for Odette and I, unfortunately there isn't room for you two. Sorry..." And she was too. Clara wasn't usually one to socialize or sympathize with anyone not in her family but before her were the one's who had help and even saved her sister.
"W-We should be fine," Izuku said with a slight stutter, still embarassed about being around so many pretty women, "I seem to be able to sense danger around us, and we will probably be able to move a lot faster with just the two of us. I might even be able to just fly Charlie-San and I there."
Odette walked up to Izuku and held out the spear. "Take this with you. It may be broken but at least you can somewhat defend yourself with it." Clara was slightly shocked that her sister just gave away the valuable weapon but did nothing to stop it, in her mind he was going to need it and her certainly earned it.
"O-Oh? Um, thank you!" Izuku said in surprise. The moment the spear was in his hands a soft glow eminated from them. Befrore everyone's eyes the spear began to reform itself, now taking the shape of a sword. The blade was long and thin with ribbons of silver wrapped around the grip acting as the guard.
Everyone present was in awe of what they had just seen. Spears were the only weapon anyone in hell had ever seen the Exterminators use save for Adam himself, that one said spear actually reshaped itself just for Izuku gave everyone present pause, save for the boy himself who was amazed by the how... right the sword felt.
Steeling his resolve streched out his wings and crouched slightly, "Okay Charlie-San, hope on and lead the way." He said before turning to the other two women, "Thank you again for the sword, I hope we can meet again when this is all over," Feeling Charlie ackwardly climb onto his back he finished with a simply, "Stay safe," before he took to the air again and was gone.
*Elsewhere*
"Okay, someone really needs to calm this chick down!" Adam snarled in irritation, it was his day damnit! "Can we get a tranquilizer, clorophorm SOMETHING?!" He had been having the time of his life blasting the freaks of hell, really taking in the screams of pain and pleas for mercy, when the girl plowed into and hadn't let go. He couldn't even call her an Exterminator sense at some point she had torn off her mask, meaning he could really see the haunted look in her eyes.
Eyes, that was the other thing she hadn't shut up about. Gold and green eyes that did... something to her. Made her see and feel things she shouldn't have. So much for the mask blocking out demonic powers. "Seriously, you need to get off!'
"Now is that any way to talk to one of your subordinates?" Came a soft and melotic voice that sent ice down Adam's back. HE was here, and that was not good for Adam's fun day. Turning around he came face to face with his boss's boss's boss, the Archangel Gabriel. "Now, please tell me everything about these eyes."
