Hell's Angel

It was good to be back on earth but now Izuku is going to have to learn to reintergrate into a world that isn't on fire or without an ever present screaming.

This is going to be a heavy set up chapter that will lead back into both Hell and the Sports Festival.

I'm still working out some of the finer details of both the classes and if you have an OC that you want to see in the story, leave a review about them: General personallity, quirk, apperance and the like, and it will pick the best one and add them to the story with the usual shout out about it.

A big thank you to Quase who helped me come up with the name of the quirk that Izuku will use as well as his hero name!

And as Always, Please. Read Review and Enjoy!

Chapter 7: New Friends and Old Lives

It was surreal to be standing before your own grave. 'Izuku' said boy thought to himself as he read his own tombstone. No family name, no birthdate or even a deathdate. Just a slab of cobblestone with his name on it. "I don't know if it says more about me or my mother that I'm not even surprised that she buried me in a quickless graveyard."

"Her." Growled out Toshinori. In the two days it took to get the permit to exume Izuku's body the man had changed for the better. Not by very much but his eyes were less sunken in, his gaunt figure begining to fill out, everything that was wrong with the man was being fixed slowly but surely. "You, Young man, have done nothing that would deserve what has happened to you."

"Thank you Al- Yagi-san." Izuku said as he quickly corrected himself. He was still stunning that Toshinori was refusing to go by his hero name, and heartbroken that it was because of him. Aisawa was quick to make sure Izuku knew not to blame himself too harshly, he was a teenager that was rejected by everyone that had ever known him.

Soon enough Power Loader had fully excavated the grave, inspite of his multiple objections. Not unlike Kan, Higari was religious but not to the same faith. The idea of disturbing someone's final rest didn't sit right with him and the only reason he was doing it in the first place was that the dead kid in question had asked him to do so.

'In all my life I really never thought that I'd ever have had to say that out loud,' He thought to himself as Toshi help him haul up the obviously poorly made coffin. 'Kami help me if I ever meet this woman I'm going to kick her right in the c-'

Higari's mental rant was cut off as the wood groaned and began to crack, causing both men to move faster to get it onto solid ground before the body fell out. "I swear if I find out this is plywood I will fly to America myself just to kick both of their asses!" This was the yell of both men as a wind picked up around them that fell a tree.

Elsewhere in America a couple suddenly felt very cold, very weak, and very Very much in danger.

Carefully pulling the lid off both Toshi and Higari were expecting a rotted corpse with a horrid smell to follow. They weren't expecting the pristine form of Izuku Midoriya, scars and damage that he had gained in his death gone. It was as though Time itself hadn't touched him.

Izuku coudn't help the sad smile on his face as he looked at who he had once been. "I was smaller than I remember," he couldn't help but say as he reached out and gently took his own hand.

Suddenly the body reached out with both arms and wrapped itself around Izuku. Both Higari and Toshinori were about to step in when Izuku waved them off. "It's okay, I think we are just happy to see ourselves again." With that said the boy pulled his body into a tight hug, joyful laughter emanating from both of them as a blinding white light flooded the empty graveyard. What freaked the two men out was that it was as though the graves were laughing with them.

When the light faded the body was gone and all that was left was Izuku Carmine. His skin was no longer ashen and as pale as it once was and his eyes no longer constantly glowed with their ethereal light, but for the first time in a very long time he felt whole. Breathing deeply Izuku took a step forward, only to fall.

"Young Carmine, are you alright?" Toshinori said as he helped up the boy.

"I'm fine Yagi-san." Izuku said as he got back to his feet, "I'm just getting used to my body again."

"One more thing that I thought I would never hear or say," Higari said as he finished examining the wood. 'Just like I thought, ply wood. If ever I was going to muder someone-' he cut his thoughts off as he dropped the wood and began filling the hole back in.

Izuku laughed lightly as he began flexing his joints, taking a mental note of what was lagging slightly. "I know what you mean." With one more flex his wings burst from his back as he tried to lift from the ground, which took more effort than he was comfortable with. "I will need to work a bit more to make these work a bit better."

"There will be plenty of time for that while you are training as a student of UA." Toshinori said as he patted him on this shoulder, "In the mean time we will need to find a place for you to stay"

"Oh that won't be nessisary Yagi-san." Izuku said as he finished flexing and began to slowly walk around, "I have a home in Hell to stay at when I am not at school, as well as some responsibilities there."

"Responsibilities? In Hell?" Higari asked as he scratched his head, he had been thrown for a loop the first time he found out about Izuku and ever sense it hadn't gotten any better.

"There is a hotel in Hell where Charlie-san is trying to rehabilitate Sinners so that they could get into Heaven. I'm trying to help her." Both men could only stare in shock and awe.

"All right, I'm done," Higari said with his hands in the air, his limit finally being reached, "I'm going home to drink this fever dream away. I'll see you in the morning Toshinori, Carmine I'll see you after class on Monday about your costume."

"But I-" Izuku started to say before Higari took off at a full sprint, "-already have a suit..." Both Toshinori and Izuku shook their heads before agreeing to head home and get ready for the up coming days.

*Several days later*

"Do you have everything that you need?" Vaggie asked as she watched Charlie fuss over the boy. He had unintentionally called her 'Onee-chan' and had only made her excitable nature worst as the idea of being his big sister was almost too much for her to take.

"Yes Vaggie-chan," Izuku said as he tried to get used to being close enough with others to use thoughs terms. "Nedzu-sensei said that what I couldn't get from here he would provide. I have to go now" As he said that he stepped away from Charlie, who could only smile in pride.

"We'll be waiting here for you when you get back," Charlie said. Izuku smiled back as he opened the portal to UA.

Stepping forward Izuku found himself in the teacher's lounge, and was greeted by two teachers who were now choking on their coffee in surpise as well as Nedzu who had asked him to arrive right then. "Oh no, are you okay? I'm sorry I surprised you!"

"We're fine Young Man," Cementos said as he tapped his chest a few times, "We were simply not expecting to you just show up like that."

"You can say that again," Mic said as he eyed the boy up and down a few times, "How did you even get past all the security this place has and just pop up here?"

For his part Izuku at least had the decency to blush before lightly tapping his earing. "This gem lets me go where I need to. It works better if I know exactly where to go and only I'm able to use it."

"While I'm sure we all have questions for you about you're ablities we have to get you to class. Follow me please Mr Carmine." Nedzu said as he began to walk off. All Izuku could do was bow again in apology and run off to catch up.

As the two passed his office Nedzu quickly pulled out a pack and handed it to Izuku. "You're uniform. Please see me after class so that you can pick up the two spares I have prepared for you."

Izuku smiled as he took it into his hands. "This all still doesn't feel real to me," he said as he ran his hand over the plastic, "I keep thinking I'm going to suddenly wake up in a hospital bed, having some how survived my fall and finding out I'm still alone and powerless."

Nedzu stopped at the door to 1A and locked eyes with Izuku, wondering not for the first time how such a pure and innocent soul could find its way into Hell. "I can assure you Mr Carmine, whether by the fickle machinations of luck or the grand order of fate, you are here and will be given what was rightfully yours. You will do great things Mr Carmine, of this I'm sure, and I can only hope to live long enough to see even half of them.

"One piece of advice however," Nedzu said before Izuku could knock on the door, "You have the weight of the world on your shoulders now, but you don't have to carry that weight alone, nor will any of use teachers let you. Grow close to your class, let them in and share with them your troubles. No one is a one man army, I myself am only here today because of the selfless sacrifice of another."

Aisawa had just managed to settle down the class after coming in. Many of them had seen the state that he had been in before Carmine had healed him, had saved his life really. He scanned the class as the last of the chatter died, most of them were alright if a little shaken. The only one that he was cautious of was Bakugo, he had been unusually quiet sense the attack and that was not something that was expected from his file. His file from Aldrea.

Aisawa and Nedzu both looked into that school, gone over it multiple times with the finest toothed combs, and in doing so had found a gold mine in a cesspit. Every teacher was a quirkest or at least didn't care to stand up to them, the students were being tought that only the strong counted in this society. It was practically a breeding ground for the MetaLibiration. It had been investigated when Carmine died but it was so piss poor that Aisawa was 100% sure the investigator was in on it.

All of that was to say that he had been keeping a very close eye on Bakugo. There was no way he didn't know Carmine, then Midoriya, given that he and his parents were at the funeral and had even striken Mrs Midoriya. Add to that was the boy's obvious mental and emotional issuses, the boy was a walking time bomb that may well have already gone off.

"We will be having a new student in class starting today, I will let him introduce himself but after that you will keep any questions you have for him for after class." Aisawa said with his typical glare. The sound of knocking at the door drew his attention, "He's here."

Opening the door Izuku walked threw and any noise that might have been in the room was gone. The boy who had saved all of them, icluding two of the teachers, was now standing before the class with a soft smile.

"DEKU?!" And with that shout the smile was gone.

"Bakugo?" Izuku asked, his eyebrows furrowed in what had to be the first glare that Bakugo had ever seen, "You actually made it into UA?" Ordinarily a jab of any kind would have ended in an explosion and a beating but Bakugo was too stunnded, both by the dead boy before him and that he now had the balls to say that, to actually do anything to him.

"Enough," Aisawa said, annoyed that he had been right, "We don't hav the time for any irrational fighting in class. Carmine, introduce yourself so that we can get started."

Izuku smiled again, glad to not have to address that issue of having Bakugo in his class. "Hello everyone, my name is Izuku Carmine. And from today on I am in your care."

'Carmine?' Bakugo thought to himself as Deku took his seat a few rows behind him, next to the horse girl. 'Where the hell did he come up with the name Carmine? Why did he even change his name and more importantly... How is he still alive!' All of these thoughts were running threw his head as Aisawa sensei retook the center of class.

"Now then, the fight is not over." Seeing the class tense, as well as recognise how that sounded, Aisawa was quick to clarify, "The UA sports festival will be held as planned in two weeks." Once again the class exploded in both excitement as well as concern.

"After what happened, are you sure that we should still hold the festival?" Tsuyu asked as she held her finger to her lips, a nervious habit that she had never been able to break herself of.

"Yeah, I mean what if some villians deside to try and take revenge on us or something?" Kaminari asked as he ran his hand threw his hair.

"While I understand your concern on the matter, you have nothing to be worried about, "Aisawa said as he lowered a screen to show a list of names, "On top of the usual security princepal Nedzu as also lined up several Proheros for extra security on the day of. That being said, inspite of your worries it is important that all of you show everything you have in the festival.

"Your every move will be on display for the world to see. You will be selling yourself to not just the people who you will be protecting but the pros who will be watching to see if you're worth offering an intership with."

"That is true," Izuku said as he pulled a worn notebook from his bag, one that Aisawa noticed Bakugo flinch at, "There are a number of UA graduates that have gone on to have both successful careers as sidekicks as well as successfully runing agencys of thier own."

Aisawa nodded as the screen changed, "Once a year, for three years, means that you only have athree chances to make a name for yourselves. That said, even if you make a good showing of yourselves you must also make sure you keep up the forward momentum, lest you fall behind."

*later*

Izuku was surprised by how, normal his class was. Granted most of his time in education after preschool was being bullied, belittled or out right ignored by both the student body and teachers so the bar wasn't really set all that high. Reguardless being able to answer a question without being yelled at if right or mocked if wrong was an... odd feeling, good but odd.

"Carmine-san, if we might have a moment of your time!" a voice echoed out by a guy who looked and acted robotic. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Tenya Iida the president of this class and as such I have taken it into my hands to ask you some of the many questions myself and the class has, additionally if you require a tour of this fine establishment I would be happy to give one for you."

Although surpised Izuku couldn't feel any negative feelings from anyone, minus Bakugo who was rotating between shock, terror, and blinding rage. "I would be happy to help Iida-san, but you should know that I can't really answer everything at this moment. What would you like to know?"

"How did you do all that stuff at the USJ? it was manly as hell!" Kirishima said, his smile wide inspite of the sharp teeth.

"O-oh, um..." Izuku started with a small blush, "It's... my quirk. It's called the Celestial Stare. I can draw in negative emotions to use as strength as well as make anyone who stares into my eyes see and feel everything bad or evil they have ever done." The class was stunned by this, even the less academically gifted of the class could see just how dangerous that kind of power could be.

"And the wings?" Tsuyu asked, far less effected by that news due to her animalistic instincts telling her that he was safe to be around. gazing over she was able to see that Pony, their resident horse girl was feeling the same way.

"They're kinda a secondary manifistation of my quirk," Izuku said as he unfirled his wings, unintionally tearing his blazer in the process, "...awe, I just got that..." That got a giggle out of everyone. "Anyway, my wings are fully funtional though I will have to train them as I am still not used to using them. The more they shine the stronger I am."

A glittering light drew Izuku's attention to a tall young woman who wore a spiked ponytail. "What do you mean Carmine-san? Did you go threw a quirk evolution recently?" The girl Izuku quickly recognized Momo Yaoyorozu, the heiress of the Yaoyorozu Couporation, as she handed him a new blazer to replace the one he just ruined.

"You could say that I suppose. Truth be told up until a few months ago I was quirkless."

That one sentence hung heavy in the room. No one was willing to say anything. Even Momo, who grew up in a very sheltered environment knew what it ment to be quirkless in this socitiy, her family had started a number of charites for them in the past, as well as a house staff who was comprised of at least 90% quirkless, and Momo herself had set one up after hearing about a boy who... one year prior...

"Carmine-san," Momo asked, her voice heavy and slightly shaking, "By any chance, was your name once... Midoriya?"

The smile left Izuku's face as he said, "I had hoped that no one would have put the pieces together that quickly. But how did you know?" Now the class was confused, save for Bakugo who was eager to here what had happened.

"I had... heard what had happened." Momo said, unable to look him in the eyes at bringing up what had to be a bad memory, "I wanted to help in anyway that I could, unfortunatly all that was was helping to set up a charity to make it easier for quirkless teens who were thinking about... that to get the help they need."

Everyone could feel that subtext and suddenly knew what they were talking about, even if no one wanted to say it out loud.

"I've seen some of the bus adds, and I can't thank you enough for at least trying," Izuku said as he gave her a deep bow.

"How does... that lead to you getting a quirk man?" Kaminari asked, horrified but curious all the same.

"No one is entirly sure," Izuku said with a weak as he scratched the back of his head, "I've had a few people think that it was a very latent quirk awakening, because I was on the edge of death it just awakened to save my life inspite of having the extra toe joint, some even think it was a gift from god."

Izuku could see Aisawa from the corner of his eye giving him a look, both amused and annoyed at how much he was actually telling the class. On the one hand it was good that Izuku was comfortable with opening up to the ones he will rely on to watch his back in the future, on the other even some of the teachers didn't know the full truth. Nedzu had only given that infromation to Toshinori as he was now in a similar situation as Carmine, himself as the homeroom teacher, Higari because he was needed to exume the body, and oddly enough Vlad King who had some how ferreted out a good deal of it on his own.

"Why did you change your name?" Mina asked, "Wouldn't your parents..." Another cold silence filled the room as the other shoe dropped. Many quirkless were abandonded as children, many more in families who would be violent with them.

"After my presumed death my mother, the last of my family willing to at least pretent to care for me, left for America to be with my father. I was taken in by a lovely woman who has, even if not on paper, adopted me into her family. Before coming t save all of you she let slip that she'd love for me take her family name. So here I stand, Izuku Carmine."

Bakugo grit his teeth hearing that but said nothing. All the infromation being thrown at him right now he wasn't sure what to think. The Deku had a quirk now, and by the sound of it a freaking powerful one. He was part of a new family. "How did you know to come and save us right then? You just appeared out of no where and did something to that bird faced freak. How and Why!" He asked in barely contained fury.

"Most of that is classifed Bakugo," Izuku said with a cool stare, refusing to show any emotion to his once friend, "The teachers know the full story but for my saftey, as well as the saftey of the student body, it has to remain a secret. As for the how, healing abilities come with the raw energy that a gather. That thing was already dead but being pulled along like a puppet, by healing it's body and mind they were able to pass on."

"They?" Aisawa interjected, not knowing this part.

"There were at least four soul fragments in that body being forcfully held there by some malignate force, when I healed them I drove that force away and let them be at rest once again." Izuku said, "I'm sure Nedzu Sensei still has the report he had be write up on the event but wasn't ready to reveal it just yet."

Izuku and the class all walked off, many more questions being asked as they did so, leaving behind one Katsuki Bakugo to stew as his emotions were just barely being contained. He got a quirk after trying to kill himself? Bakugo had seen his body in that cheap casket, he knew that Deku had fully died. Did that make him some kind of ghost?

Aisawa watched the boy put together the pieces, albeit slowly. He would have to keep a close eye on him as the weeks went on to see his reactions and if it was safe to keep him in 1A, let alone UA as a whole.

*Elsewhere*

Silver eyes glowed in anger as a cascade of voices spoke.

"He suspects us..."

"We will need to gather alleys."

"We can trust no one. Only ourselves."

"We can not do more ourselves, more hands are needed.

"A champion is needed."

"One who will fight in our sted."

"A pawn?"

"A sacrifice for our ambitions."

"An angel? A demon? A Human?"

"YES!"
