Eh, you know I'm not going to let my fears stop me. I've always wanted to do something with fate/stay night or grand order but never knew what. I love the series and its characters. THIS IS A WARNING CHARACTERS WILL BE OOC. RIN, SHIROU, AND MAYBE A FEW OTHERS WILL BE STRONGER THAN THEIR CANON COUNTERPARTS. WILL THERE BE CLICHES? MOST LIKELY BUT I WILL TRY TO MAKE IT ENJOYABLE. If you have suggestions on say servants or potential relationships I will be open to suggestions. I mainly started this because I was inspired by A Blade Recast by Zahariel for mixing two of my favorite things it's a fun read so if you are interested in Warhammer 40K or Fate/Stay Night, highly recommend it. (There's also that fic where Shirou got marvel's Mjolnir, I can't remember the name at this point in time.) No idea how long this will be.

Prologue

Takato, Henry, Rika, Jeri, and the others who teamed up with Digimon were able to hold off the D-Reaper long enough for Henry's father and the others from Monster Makers to release the program Doodlebug and saved the world. Unfortunately, the program also forced their own Digimon to return to the digital world. Ever since that day a routine had formed, none of the adults talked about that day and the tamers promised not to forget. Takato was spending more time with Jeri she still had a sad look in her eyes now and then but she was getting better. He had promised to always be there to be her hero when it was needed. Henry had started hanging out more with Rika and his father.

Takato was on his way back home after stumbling upon Guilmons code in his old hiding place when he went to reminisce about his friend. He used his D-Power to house Guilmon's code not knowing if it would help his best friend come back faster or not. As he opened the door to his home he came face to face with a hallway of boxes, upon inspection, they held a lot of stuff from different rooms of their home. He found his mother filling another box in the living room.

"Hey, Mom isn't it too early for spring cleaning?" She looked up as he asked.

"It's not for cleaning." She stopped what she was doing and sat down on the couch gesturing for him to join her.

"What's with all the boxes then?" The living room looked bare except for the tv and a few old pictures.

"There's no easy way to say this honey. We have to move." His mother told him. He couldn't believe what he heard.

"What?! Why?! What about my friends?!" He started yelling.

"You know our bakery was destroyed when all that weird stuff was happening. We simply don't have the money to repair it and your father knows some people in Fuyuki City who're willing to help us open a bakery there." His mother explained.

"What about me?! What am I supposed to do I can't leave my friends!" Takato's eyes stung as tears formed and he ran up to his room before she could say anything. Hours passed until his father came home and sat him down saying he didn't have to forget his friends and he could still visit them on holidays since his grandparents still lived in town. He didn't like those answers but he really couldn't argue he was still just a kid. Takato ran on autopilot for the next few days as he told his friends. The day of the move finally came a week later and as he was helping his dad load the truck Rika, Henry, and Jeri had come to wish him goodbye and give him things to remember them. Henry was the first to go.

"Here you go man this is my dad's old laptop. With this, we can still have a way to communicate." Henry handed it to him with a few tears in the corner of his eyes. Rika came up with a picture they had all taken the day after D-Reaper.

"It's so you don't forget us." She hugged him and as she pulled away she shook her fist in his face. "You better return this summer because I swear if you make Jeri cry I'll make Megidramon look like a harmless puppy, you got me?"

"I promise! I would never make her cry." Takato rose his hands up in surrender and she went and pushed Jeri forward until she fell and he caught her. "Rika!"

"Th-thank you." Jeri stammered. She handed him her old puppet. "For you… I'm going to miss you."

"I'll miss you as well." Takato thought for a second and took off his goggles. "These are for you, Jeri. So even when I'm not here I'll still be by your said protecting you." He placed them on her head and smiled. "They look good on you."

"Thank you. I'll keep them safe." Jeri looked at him before jumping forward and kissing his cheek.

( Several Years later)

"Hey, Rika! How's Jeri?" Henry asked his girlfriend. He knew the answer ever since Takato left she had been down and when rumors of an accident happening in Fuyuki, which took the lives of five hundred people she spiraled into depression. The news said a child had survived but there was no evidence that it was their friend.

"How do you think?!" Rika growled. "That jackass promised and then nothing!"

"It's not right to speak ill of the dead." Henry admonished her.

"You know as well as I do he's too stubborn to die in some fire. He's just a damn chicken." Rika spat out. "Someone survived it so that's got to be him."

"You can't prove that." Henry sighed. He hoped that Takato was the survivor as well but he had to be practical here.

"Well, I plan to do just that! Summer is just a week away so I plan to go to Fuyuki, find his ass beat it, and drag him back." She explained with a devilish smirk.

"And you plan to leave Jer alone?" Henry cocked an eyebrow. "That's not a good idea.

"She's coming with. If he is well you know I hope going to the memorial will help her grieve better," Rika said.

"I just know this is going to bite us in the ass just like the forest incident." Henry sighed.

"Us?" Rika asked.

"Someone has to keep you in check so I'll come with," Henry explained.

"I knew there was a reason I picked you to be my boyfriend." Rika kissed his cheek.

(Fuyuki City)

"Have a good night sempai!" A purple-haired girl said while leaving a house.

"Be safe on your way back home Sakura!" A brownish red-haired boy waved as the girl left with an older woman.

"Don't worry Shirou I'll make sure she gets home safe. You better get some sleep there's an exam tomorrow before the break." the older woman said.

Shirou watched as they rounded the corner and went back inside. He still had dishes to clean and he had planned to organize the shed before bed. He needed more space to practice magecraft after all. His father had saved him from the fire all those years ago and had been a magus. After pestering him for months Kiritsugu had agreed to teach him when Shirou told him the only thing he remembered from before to fire was wanting to be a hero to someone. After finishing the dishes he went to the shed and started moving boxes. Some of these were his father's old clothes while the others were his. While moving a box he accidentally knocked over one of the older boxes with his name on it and the contents spilled out. Old children's clothes and a blue hoodie that had somehow survived the fire. He started packing the clothes up when something fell from the hoodie. A burnet paper and some type of device. He looked at the paper first and it was a picture of a young boy. That must have been a picture of him and maybe his family he wasn't sure as it was too damaged.

"That sucks, I wonder who else was in that picture," Shirou mumbled as he looked towards the device. He felt drawn to it and when he touched it he was blinded by a flash of light.

"Takatomon?"
