Hello my dear readers. Just a little quicky to put a smile on your muzzles.
I do not own and can therefore make no claim to Zootopia and it's characters. I claim only my OCs.
On with the show.

Nick looked over the spreadsheet on the computer with a surprised huff and a small smile. He didn't think he'd feel quite so accomplished, but he did. His taxes were completely caught up, fine paid, everything, and he still had a not insignificant balance left in the bank. Giving a chuckle as Judy gave him a soft kiss on the underside of his jaw from where she sat on his lap. He'd given her a hard time about the whole rabbits being good at math, multiplying specifically, and yet… Without her skill with math and spreadsheets, it would have taken him months, not three days, to get there.
"Well, I have to say. I'm surprised. I mean, wow. I still have nearly three million in liquid assets, and oh…" His eyes going wide as he sees the valuation of the properties he owned. "Oh, wow. Uhm… You sure that's right, Judy?"
Judy chuckled and snuggled into his lap deeper. "Yeah, that's right. Remember, we had to delay dealing with things until the property value assessments went through. It increased your tax liability quite a bit, but because it's technically on the city and state to do that, not you, and they hadn't until we prompted the process, there were no extra fines, just a higher bill due for the most recent.
That said, because of the increasing of property values overall, and those in the area, specifically of the warehouse. Well… If you sold it now, it would go for nearly 35 million as it sits, and you…"
Nick put a finger to her muzzle. "Us, Fluff. This is now an Us, thing."
Judy chuckled and gave a pleased chirr. "Right. Us. The simplicity of a fox wedding makes it easy to forget. I appreciate that you are willing to do the bunny wedding too."
"Gotta satisfy both our cultural needs. Anyway, you were saying."
"Right. If, we… decided to sell. I think there may be better usages for it though. We can go over that later."
Nick nodded, a grin on his muzzle as it rested on the top of her head. "Okay, so that's my finances. It's a good thing they removed the financial limits, so long as you reveal what your asset status is."
Judy hummed. "Yeah. Trust, that has worried me for a while. But we can do that paperwork later."
"What about you, Judy? What are your finances like? We do need to merge, or get a joint account. Things like that." Nick felt the guard hairs on the back of his neck spike, as did the outright fear in her scent. Especially with the nervous giggle she gave. "Judy?"
"Heh… Heh heh heh… Uhm…"
"Judy?"
Judy gave a sigh and grabbed his arms, holding them around her tighter as he had started to pull away due to the scent of fear. "I know you are reacting to the fear that just flushed through me and I'm sure you smelled it. It isn't fear of you. Well… It's perhaps a little fear of your reaction."
"What? Are you broke?" Judy gave a very nervous laugh to that. "In massive debt? Whatever it is, we can deal with it."
"No, nothing like that. It's just. … Okay. I got the shoebox for a number of reasons."
"I know. Close to the precinct. Hadn't met Fru yet to help bypass the speciesist premiums on places for being a rabbit, much like I dealt with as a fox, and wasn't actually a cop yet. All that."
Judy nodded against him. "Right… I… I could have afforded a better place. I have no student debt because it's all covered for a number of reasons. Which reminds me, we need to get you enrolled in some online courses and get your degree. Knowing you, you can probably skill test through at least a bachelors, but you'll need your masters in order to make detective with me."
"We can do that. You're also dodging the question."
"Okay, so… I get my paycheck, and that goes into my account. I also have access to a trust or sorts. It gets a monthly allowance, and I just transfer funds from that to my account to cover bills and purchases I want to make if that exceeds what is in my account. In fact, it is set up to do that automatically if my balance drops before five hundred. There is a limit for that transfer, but I get prompted on my phone and can override that in the moment. Like when I bought my car."
Nick thought for a moment. "Wait. You're telling me you paid for the car, in full? After all that haggling I helped you with?"
Judy chuckled. "Hey, just because I can pay for it in full in the moment doesn't mean I can't get a better deal."
Nick laughed. "Oh, that's good. Heck of a hustle there, Fluff. Proud of you. But okay. I get it, and that doesn't really bother me. I guess it's because of the farm. Do all of you get such an allowance, or is it just those that move away from the burrow."
"Technically, we all do, most don't set it up though. Plus, if I were making a new purchase, like the condo. Well, I don't take that out of my account or the trust, but get a direct transfer from the burrow accounts. I just have to put in a request and get it approved. Also all done online or the app on my phone, depending on the request. Worst case, if I need it really urgently, I can call and get it pushed through."
"Okay. Judy… How rich are you guys? The Hopps?"
"Uhm… I am not actually sure. Hopps Family Farms is an LLC with a number of subsidiary companies to break out the various things we do. There is HFF itself." Nick opened a new spreadsheet tab and started typing. "Then there is HFF Meats."
Nick froze. "Wait…. HFF Meats? That's like the premier meat producer in the country. You're telling me that HFF Meats is a subsidiary of a rabbit farm LLC?"
Judy chuckled. "Yeah. We all spend a few months working at each so we are at least familiar with them. It comes as a shock to some of us, others it's a, whatever, moment. Lets see. HFF, HFF Meats, HF Logistics."
"Holy hell in a hand basket! That's a billion dollar company."
"Really? I never paid attention. Lets see. Oh! There is also Bunco. That one was an eye opener. I think I blushed for my entire three month internship there. We each get the option of having a toy made to our liking, or of us."
Nick's eyes were wide. He knew Bunco. They were the biggest maker of sex toys, sexual wellness aides, for every species and size class. "Judy… What did you pick?" Judy physically shrank in his lap. "Judy? What did you pick?" A wide, wicked smirk on his muzzle.
"Uhm… I… Oh gods. I have ridden your knot, how is this hard? I… I designed a toy, and… And had one made of me."
"Are you telling me that there is a silicone version of you out on the market?"
"NO! Dear gods, no. Thank all that is holy. NO! I never let that go past the prototype. I never even let that get to the testers. The toy I designed however… Well, it's one of the more popular, so I get a bit of a bonus from those sales because it is my design." She reached forward, pulled up the Bunco site, logged in, and went to her personal portion of the site that provided her the option to design new toys, as well as showed the list of toys she had designed and what her profit sharing portion was for the most recent sales quarter.
Nick stared at it for a long time. She had ten toys to her name, and all were good enough sellers for her to get no insignificant payouts. What made him start laughing, holding her to him as he did so. "So… hahaha So, you're telling me… My mate… Created the Carlos Foxinton? When you were what? Sixteen?"
Judy groaned. "Eighteen. Gotta be of age before you get to do that particular internship."
Looking them over, he noticed a relatively new option. The Knotty Boy 3. It went on the market about six months after they got done with the Nighthowler situation, while he was in the academy. It was a fairly generic semi-canine, with a knot that would inflate and deflate on command. "Oh my gods. You were at least horny for me from the get go."
Judy swallowed. "Yeah. No denying that with what I know you are looking at."
"And this, and the rest. The fact that you basically have access to the profits from several multi-billion dollar corporations. Next you'll tell me that HP Pharmaceuticals is another one of those subsidiaries."
"And H Organics, HP Supplements, and others. I don't know the whole list. That's what mammals like my brother Garry deal with."
"And is Garry going to cut you off?"
"No. That would be a total hypocrite move. He's married to a painted dog." Pulling up the actual main site of Bunco, she pulled up a specific toy. "Supposedly, this is based off of his mate."
Nick stared at that for a long moment and then lost it again. "Why are we cops again?"
"For the same reason my parents are still farmers. It's something to do and keep busy with. It's what we are used to, and you and I both know we would go absolutely stir crazy if we didn't have jobs. How do you think I afforded the advanced body armor, which I forced you to start wearing."
"I guess I don't feel quite so bad about forcing you to buy the Mouserman than?"
"Yeah, that's a much better weapon then the one I had. Still makes a good backup though."
"It does. I guess when we buy the condo, we'll be paying it off in full?"
Judy shook her head. "No. Finance one oh one. If you can make the monthly payments on a mortgage, do it. It builds credit and helps you get better rates. My credit score is 780 right now. I use my three credit cards to buy things like lunches and stuff, and then pay that off."
"Is that why you had me start doing that?"
"Yep, and your score is already up to 620 and rising. We'll need to switch you to some better cards with better rates soon."
"Okay. Well, my billionaire princess. We've done enough financial stuff for now. And I'm fully reloaded. Why don't we get back to the details of a fox wedding?"
Judy grinned. "I like that sound of that."
