One morning, Gwen was called to Mount Olympus before Zeus at his grand palace.
"You summoned me my lord?" Gwen asked.
"Yes, Lady Gosa. I have asked you here because I told you we need to discuss your 'sneaking out and traveling the world with your friends' problem." Zeus answered.
Gwen felt guilty.
"As you know, I will not punish you for everything. But I do need to remind you that the more you keep going down to Earth, the more you and your friends are at risk of the Devil trying to catch you or sending his pawns after you." Zeus explained.
Gwen sighed, knowing this was coming. Zeus notices the sad look on her face.
"Hmm. Perhaps we have reached an impasse. While it is important your safety is your number one priority, I know you are unsatisfied being confined to your palace." Zeus said.
Gwen looked at Zeus.
"What do you have in mind sir?" Gwen asked.
"Perhaps if our messenger Hermes were to check if it's safe, perhaps I could permit you to visit Earth, but on my terms. I can even send some angel bodyguards to secretly protect you." Zeus suggested.
"I will accept your terms if you can permit me and my friends to visit places on Earth as you say if it's safe. And I'm welcome to having angel bodyguards." Gwen said accepting his offer.
"Just for the record, based on your adventures, you are starting to become the goddess you are destined to be." Zeus complimented.
"Really?" Gwen asked.
"Yes, you are starting to trust others to help you, and you are guiding new friends to their full potential." Zeus explained.
Gwen gave a slight smile.
"But I'm glad we have agreed to my conditions if you wish to get out of the palace once in a while. All you have to do is inform me and I will send Hermes to make sure wherever you should go visit is safe. When he gives the word, you can travel, and I will have angel guards on standby to keep watch to make sure you are safe." Zeus said, reaching an agreement.
"You have a deal my lord." Gwen happily agreed to the deal and bowed in respect.
"Don't you usually shake hands?" Zeus asked.
"Oh, right." Gwen said awkwardly.
Gwen and Zeus shake hands. Afterwards, Gwen teleported back to her palace and joins her friends for breakfast.
"Hey, honey. So, how'd it go with Zeus?" Clarence asked.
"Well, thank goodness he's not punishing me, being totally understanding. But we've finally reached an agreement. Wherever we wanna go, Zeus will send Hermes to make sure it's safe and that he'll secretly have angel bodyguards protecting us from anyone the Devil sends." Gwen answered.
"Oh boy! We can still go anywhere!" Cuphead cheered.
"But Cuphead, we can do it when Zeus gives us the okay. Plus, he's gonna have bodyguards watching us." Gwen pointed out.
"I see his point. We did get attacked a few times." Mugman agreed.
"So, any idea where we should go this time?" Ms. Chalice asked.
"Honestly, I'm not sure. I mean there's so many countries we've seen and many we haven't seen yet." Gwen said unsure.
"It's okay, I can't decide either." Clarence said.
After breakfast Gwen and Clarence check the globe and browse some choices. Mugman came up with a paper with a doodle on it.
"Hey check this out guys." Mugman said, showing the picture.
They both looked and noticed it was a drawing of an alpaca.
"Aw cute. Is that an alpaca?" Gwen asked.
"No, it's a llama." Mugman said.
"It's strange how a llama and an alpaca are similar." Clarence said.
"They originally came from Peru." Gwen said.
Just then an idea clicked for the couple.
"Honey, are you thinking…?" Gwen asked.
"What I'm thinking?" Clarence finished.
"Peru!" Both exclaimed.
"Okay! Let's go!" Cuphead said excitedly.
"Wait, Cuphead. First, I gotta inform Zeus." Gwen said.
Gwen sends a message to Zeus about their trip to Peru. A few minutes later, a message appeared in front of Gwen, and she opened a scroll and read it.
"Well, what'd he say?" Mugman asked.
"Well, Mugsy, he had Hermes check all around Peru and found nothing out of the ordinary threats and gives the all-clear." Gwen announced.
"Yeah! Let's go then!" Ms. Chalice said happily.
"And we should be safe with the angel bodyguards protecting us." Clarence said.
Gwen tapped her ink pen and appeared in the city of Lima.
"Guys, welcome to Lima, Peru." Gwen announced.
"Ooh!" All 3 cups exclaimed looking around.
"Say, ain't this a bit like Brazil when we were in Rio?" Cuphead asked.
"That's because Peru borders west of Brazil. We're on the same continent of South America." Gwen explained.
"Ah." Mugman and Ms. Chalice said, understanding.
"We'll have to see the rest of the countries on this continent along with the other 6 continents." Ms. Chalice said.
"No Chalice, 5 other continents. Antarctica is uninhabited. Nothing but ice and snow. No one lives there. It's too freezing cold." Clarence said.
"Oh." Both Cuphead and Mugman said.
"Anyway, what do you say we explore Peru?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah!" All 3 cups exclaimed.
"Let's do it honey." Clarence said.
Gwen summoned Cerulean Bolt, and the group hop on. They fly in the sky and head to the famous landmarks. First, they explore the beautiful Rainbow Mountain.
"Ooh! Look at that mountain! It looks like a rainbow!" Mugman said and pointed.
"Mugsy, that's why it's called Rainbow Mountain." Clarence said.
"Neat!" Cuphead said excitedly.
Next, they fly to the Amazon River where it started and stretched throughout South America.
"There's Amazon! I remember we saw it in Brazil!" Mugman said.
"Yes. This is where the Amazon River starts." Gwen said.
"Cool! More piranhas!" Ms. Chalice said.
"No Chalice, we're not seeing any piranhas." Clarence said.
"Aw!" Ms. Chalice groaned.
They continued flying and come across the Nazca Lines in the southern desert.
"Wow, what are those strange lines?" Cuphead asked.
"Those are the Nazca Lines." Gwen answered.
"What's that?" Mugman asked.
"They're geoglyphs encrypted into the sand for a really long time." Clarence answered.
They flew over the Nazca Lines landscape.
"Who made those lines?" Ms. Chalice asked.
"The ancient people of Nazca from a long, long time ago." Gwen answered.
"Cool." Mugman said.
"I'm gettin' hungry. What good food does Peru offer?" Cuphead asked.
"We should head to Cusco and grab lunch." Clarence suggested.
"Good idea." Gwen agreed.
"What's Cusco a llama or something?" Cuphead asked.
"No dummy! It's a city!" Mugman insulted.
"Enough guys!" Gwen scolded.
They flew to the city of Cusco and land near a local gift shop. They purchase little reed boats, alpaca dolls, panflutes, Pucara bull figurines and llama plushies.
After shopping, they stop at a local restaurant. They order chicken ceviche, lomo saltado (stir-fried beef), Aji de Gallina (creamy chicken), rocoto relleno (stuffed peppers) and pollo a la brasa (roasted chicken). For dessert, they order Mazamorra Morada (purple corn pudding), picarones (sticky donuts) and pie de limon (lemon meringue pie).
"Awesome food!" Cuphead said, eating a drumstick.
"Yeah, these peppers hit the spot." Mugman said eating a stuffed pepper.
"And this beef stir fry is a killer dish!" Ms. Chalice said eating a bite.
Gwen and Clarence grab their glasses of pisco sour, and the cups grabbed their glasses of Inca Sodas (yellow sodas).
"I'll toast this time. A toast to a Peruvian day of fun!" Mugman toasted.
They clinked their glasses and sipped their drinks.
"So, what are we gonna do next?" Cuphead asked.
"We decided for the grand finale; we're going to fly to the most famous landmark of Peru: Machu Picchu!" Gwen announced.
"Machu Pi-what?" Mugman asked.
"Machu Picchu. It's an ancient lost city of the Incan Empire northwest of here." Clarence answered.
"It's one of the wonders of our world." Gwen added.
"Neat!" Cuphead exclaimed.
"Which wonders did we see?" Ms. Chalice asked.
"We saw the Pyramids of Egypt, Chichen Itza in Mexico, the Coliseum in Italy, the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal in India and Christ the Redeemer in Brazil. We have seen 6 of the wonders." Gwen said, recapping their travels.
"There's many more to see." Clarence said.
"Cool!" Cuphead exclaimed.
"Now let's fly to the main attraction." Gwen said.
Cerulean Bolt flies northwest to find Machu Picchu. They fly over the town Aguas Calientes.
"Hey look, a town." Ms. Chalice said looking down.
"That's the town of Aguas Calientes." Gwen said, looking at a map.
"Aw look, there's a girl chasing a llama down there." Mugman said.
"Wait, what?" Gwen asked.
They looked down at a teenage girl chasing after an alpaca.
"That's not a llama, that's an alpaca!" Gwen corrected him.
"What's the difference?" Cuphead asked.
"Alpacas are smaller than llamas!" Clarence answered.
"Wait a minute, she's trying to catch that alpaca! Let's see what's up." Gwen said.
Cerulean Bolt flies down and discreetly follow the girl chasing the alpaca.
"Get back here! Papa is furious you escaped the farm!" The girl shouted.
"Oh, it belongs to her family." Clarence said, figuring it out.
"Maybe she and her family are alpaca farmers. They harvest their wool to make clothes." Gwen said.
Suddenly out of nowhere, the alpaca was ambushed by a prowl of jaguars. The alpaca runs the other direction as the girl stopped running and finds herself surrounded.
"¡Ahh! ¡Ayuda! ¡Ayuda!" The girl screamed.
"Oh no you don't!" Gwen said angrily.
Gwen jumped off Cerulean Bolt.
"Gwen!" The 3 cups exclaimed.
Her magic inkwell started glowing on her belt. Suddenly, the inkwell used its magic to transform Gwen into a jaguar herself. She lands safely on her four feet and growled at the jaguars.
"Go away!" Gwen yelled angrily.
The girl was shocked Gwen as a jaguar could talk.
"¡Ay dios mío! ¡Un jaguar parlante!" The girl exclaimed.
The jaguars stared at Gwen then they all growled at her.
"I know you guys are hungry! But don't hunt near the humans! You're all putting yourselves at risk of them hunting you down!" Gwen warned.
Just then, a deer sped past them, grabbing their attention. The jaguars run off and chased after the deer.
"That's right. Go hunt in the wild not among human territory." Gwen said.
The girl was still shocked at Gwen as she turned around to face her.
"Uh, why are you taller? And why are you looking at me like that?" Gwen asked.
The gang fly down to the ground.
"Uh, honey. I'm gonna say this with love but… have you looked in the mirror lately?" Clarence nervously asked.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Gwen asked, feeling insulted.
"Look at your hands." Cuphead said.
"Whatever. You guys are just trying to…" Gwen said until she noticed her new paws.
"WHAT THE?!" Gwen exclaimed.
She fearfully looked at her body, seeing that she was now a large, muscular big cat with golden fur with dark spots and a tail, realizing she was indeed a jaguar herself.
"Wait a minute! I think I got a new ability!" Gwen realized.
Gwen tried something until she magically shapeshifted back into her normal form.
"Just as I suspected! I can now shapeshift into animals!" Gwen exclaimed with amazement and shock.
"Wow cool!" Cuphead said.
"That should come in handy!" Mugman complimented.
"Uh, guys? What about her?" Ms. Chalice asked.
Gwen forgot about the girl and looked at her still in shock at the magic she just witnessed.
"Uh, look you seem like a nice girl. So, forget you ever saw me. Forget the magic you just witnessed. I'm leaving now. Adios." Gwen said.
Gwen was about to hop on Cerulean Bolt when the girl suddenly grabbed her arm.
"¡Chica mágica! ¡Por favor no te vayas!" The girl pleaded.
"Chica what?" Mugman asked, making the girl gasp at the sight of the cups.
"¡Tazas!" The girl exclaimed.
"Oh yeah. 'Cups' in Spanish." Ms. Chalice said remembering.
"You are Americans." The girl said in English.
"Aha! You do speak English!" Cuphead exclaimed.
"Cuphead! Be nice!" Clarence scolded.
"Magic girl." The girl translated.
"Oh." Both cups said.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Gwen asked, clearly seeing another innocent person needed her help.
"I am Camila Mantilla. What are your names?" Camila introduced herself.
"Gwendolyn Mae Emmons. Call me Gwen. And this is my fiancé Clarence Hopewell and my best friends Cuphead, Mugman and Ms. Chalice." Gwen introduced.
"Please, Gwen. I need your help." Camila begged.
"With what?" Gwen asked.
"It's our alpacas! They all disappeared! We've already lost 2 to jaguars and we don't know what happened to the rest!" Camila explained fearfully.
"Hey, hey. Calm down." Clarence said.
"If we don't get them back, we will not afford to keep our farm! Our business thrives on their wool!" Camila yelled.
Gwen gripped Camila's shoulders.
"Camila! Silencio!" Gwen snapped.
Camila immediately silenced herself, fearing Gwen's stern look.
"Now listen, if we help you find your missing alpacas will you calm down?!" Gwen asked impatiently.
"¡Sí! ¡Sí! I promise!" Camila promised.
"Quietly!" Gwen snapped.
"Sí, I promise." Camila quietly said.
"Muy bien." Gwen said.
"How far is your farm?" Ms. Chalice asked.
Camila pointed back the way she came.
"Would it make you feel better if we fly to your farm?" Mugman asked.
Camila looked at Cerulean Bolt as he shook his tassel hand with her hand.
"Oh, this is Cerulean Bolt. He's my magic carpet." Gwen introduced.
"Alfombra mágica." Camila said in Spanish.
Gwen hopped back on Cerulean Bolt and Camila gathered some courage and hopped on with the group. They flew up the trail to the alpaca farm which looked like the fences containing the alpacas were damaged. They noticed the alpaca from earlier was back in the damaged corral.
"Woah. What happened here?" Cuphead asked looking around.
"We don't know. We wake up this morning to find this and all our alpacas gone! We don't know who or what did this. My idiot brother Carlos was supposed to fix the fence, but he didn't do it right." Camila answered.
"Were there any clues?" Gwen asked.
Camila thought for a moment.
"No. We didn't find anything. They disappeared with no trace." Camila said.
The cups groaned.
"If we had a dog or something with a great sense of smell, we'd be able to track them easier." Mugman said.
Clarence gets an idea.
"Mugsy, that's it!" Clarence said.
Clarence turned to Gwen.
"Love, can you turn back into a jaguar and use that sense of smell to track the alpacas?" Clarence asked.
"What me?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah, you Gweny! Cuphead said.
"You can turn into animals now!" Mugman added.
"I don't know. I don't wanna get shot at by hunters." Gwen said, feeling unsure.
Ms. Chalice gives her a cute look.
"Chalice! Not the face!" Gwen said, covering her eyes.
Both cups hopped on her back and pull her hands away.
"Guys! No! No! NO!" Gwen scolded.
But it was too late, Ms. Chalice gave her the cute eyes.
"UGH! FINE!" Gwen snapped.
Clarence laughed.
"You all owe me bigtime for this." Gwen grumbled.
Gwen magically shapeshifted back into her jaguar form.
"Wait, how do I know what they smell like?" Gwen asked.
"Oh! I know!" Camila said, remembering something.
She runs into the farmhouse to retrieve something. After a few seconds, she runs back out with a clump of alpaca wool. Gwen hesitates to sniff it.
"Don't worry Gwen. Alpacas are clean. They do not stink. It's llamas that stink." Camila assured her.
Gwen sighed then she started sniffing the wool. To her surprise, as a jaguar, her sense of smell was heightened for her to identify the scent of the age and location of where the alpacas have gone. As a matter of fact, the smell was not even awful to her jaguar nose.
"Oh, this isn't a bad smell after all." Gwen said, feeling relieved.
"Got their scent?" Mugman asked.
"I think so." Gwen said.
Gwen walked around sniffing until she got a whiff of something.
"Wait a minute! It's going out that way!" Gwen said, pointing to the jungle.
"Wait, we gotta go in there?" Ms. Chalice asked.
"That's where the scent goes so yes." Gwen said.
"Lead the way honey." Clarence said.
Gwen sighed, then she started walking in the direction of the scent of the alpacas as the others followed.
After a while of walking through the jungle, Gwen kept sniffing out the alpacas until they come across a flowing river.
"Uh, guys? We may have a problem." Gwen said.
"How do we get across?" Mugman asked.
The group looked at Mugman in disbelief.
"What?" Mugman asked.
"Are you forgetting something dingdong?" Cuphead asked.
"We can just fly over with the carpet duh!" Ms. Chalice reminded him.
"Guys, knock it off." Clarence said as he whistled.
Cerulean Bolt flew up to the group as Gwen shapeshifted back to herself.
"Finally! I can stand on two legs again!" Gwen said, stretching her arms.
"Don't get used to it, we still need to sniff them out." Clarence reminded her.
Gwen groaned as they hopped on and flew across the river. Something in the water gets Cuphead's attention.
"Hey look! Dolphins!" Cuphead exclaimed.
"Wow, they're pink!" Mugman said noticing.
"Those are the pink river dolphins Mugman." Camila said.
"I thought they were in the ocean like in Hawaii." Ms. Chalice said.
"Chalice, there are saltwater dolphins and there are freshwater dolphins in this world." Gwen pointed out.
Looking down at the river as they flew, Gwen thought of something.
"Hmmm. I wonder if I can turn into a bird and try it out flying with my own wings. Oh well, if there's an opportunity I can try and practice my new animal shapeshifting powers, to see what other types of mammals, bird, reptile, fish and insect I'll be as, then that's what I'll do. But for now, finding out friend's alpacas is the top priority." She thought to herself.
They continued flying until they reached the other side of the river.
"That wasn't so bad." Camila said.
Gwen shapeshifted into her jaguar form and continued sniffing and leading the way.
After a while of walking, they reached what appeared to be an abandoned mine.
"Whoa! What is this place?" Mugman asked.
"I believe this is an abandoned goldmine." Camila answered.
"Gold?! Oh boy! We're rich!" Cuphead exclaimed.
He attempted to run inside until Gwen snatched his shirt and tossed him back with her powerful jaws.
"Cuphead you dumdum! This place could be crawling with rustlers with guns!" Gwen scolded.
"Guns?" Mugman asked worryingly.
"I think dealing with rustlers. The alpacas didn't just escape; they were also stolen by rustlers. I smell different scents aside from the alpacas." Gwen said.
"Oh no. How do we go in without being detected?" Camila asked.
Gwen thinks for a moment and decides to try something.
"What if I…?" Gwen said.
She thought for a moment until she started transforming into a llama.
"OOH!" The 3 cups exclaimed in awe.
"Honey, you're a llama not an alpaca." Clarence pointed out.
"Exactly. Llamas are meaner and smellier than alpacas." Gwen said winking.
"Ah, I get it. You wanna be ready to fight and spit on those jerks!" Ms. Chalice said, figuring it out.
"Exactly. Besides, how would they suspect a llama?" Gwen asked.
Gwen turned and faced the entrance.
"Wait out here guys. I'll go in first. If it's safe, I'll contact you." Gwen instructed.
Gwen walked cautiously into the mine and looked around the dark tunnels. She took a deep breath and looked around for the rustlers. She walked until she reached a wide area of the mine and noticed a large herd of alpacas being heavily guarded by armed rustlers with guns.
"Oh my!" Gwen quietly exclaimed.
But as she was about to head back, she is suddenly roped by a rustler and pulled away.
"Come on you! Don't wander off you long necked fleabag!" The rustler rudely insulted.
Gwen had to be careful not to talk as she was dragged in and placed in the corral with the other alpacas. The rustler locks the gate and stands guard.
"Aw great!" Gwen quietly grumbled.
Gwen realized she needed to somehow take out the rustlers and lead the alpacas out of the mines. All the alpacas looked up to her.
"Oh, uh… hello." Gwen greeted awkwardly.
A few babies observe Gwen.
"Aw, you're so cute!" Gwen quietly whispered.
One of the babies makes a cry noise.
"Quiet you!" Another rustler yelled rudely.
Gwen shushed the little baby.
Suddenly, her friends were brought into the mine, being captured by the rustlers.
"Boss! Look what I found outside! Intruders!" The rustler captor called.
"Oh no!" Gwen quietly exclaimed.
She quickly thought until she got an idea and teleported out of the mine.
The other rustlers grab their guns and face the group. The leader stepped forward.
"Well, well, well. Two people and three cup-headed freaks. That's new." The leader said.
"Say the word boss!" Another rustler said as he prepared to shoot Clarence.
"Where's Gwen?" Cuphead quietly asked.
"I dunno." Mugman quietly answered.
"I think she's planning a rescue." Ms. Chalice added.
"SILENCIO!" The leader yelled.
"Nobody steals our alpacas!" Camila yelled.
"Finders keepers!" The leader taunted.
They prepared to shoot the group when suddenly, the rustlers were all ambushed by the same pack of jaguars Gwen drove away from Camila. All the rustlers started screaming and tried to fight back as Gwen in her jaguar form bit off their rope restraints with her jaws.
"You guys okay?" Gwen asked.
"Perfect timing love." Clarence complimented.
"Gwen? You brought them here?" Cuphead asked.
"Yep. I told them if they help me, there was a big reward in it for them." Gwen answered.
"What did you promise them?" Mugman asked.
"A really big meaty feast." Gwen answered.
"Ah, clever." Ms. Chalice complimented.
"I also told them not to kill the alpacas." Gwen added.
"Gracias." Camila thanked.
"Oh! The alpacas! I forgot!" Gwen exclaimed.
Gwen teleported back into the corral and shapeshifted back into a llama. With quick thinking she breaks open the gate and lead the alpacas out. Just then, a rustler holding a rifle blocked their path to the exit.
Without hesitation, Gwen spat at the rustler's face, temporarily blinding him. She gestures the alpacas to go outside. Gwen used her llama legs to kick the rustler in the gut until another rustler grabbed her neck.
Gwen bites the rustler on his arm, making him cry in pain until she finished him off by kicking him.
"Big mistake you just made." Gwen taunted.
Gwen looked at the jaguars approaching her.
"Oh right." Gwen said.
Gwen shapeshifted back into a jaguar and faced the prowl.
The alpha made growling noises at her.
"Yes, you all have done well. Therefore, I shall keep my promise. Come with me." Gwen said.
Gwen led the prowl outside and before them laid a huge pile of raw meat to feed the entire prowl.
"Okay, here's what I promised you for all your help." Gwen said.
All the jaguars started eating the pile of meat. Gwen felt proud of herself.
"Another good deed done." Gwen said to herself.
Gwen shapeshifted back to her normal self as her friends ran outside the mine.
"Gwen! That was awesome!" Clarence said, hugging her with the cups.
"Gracias." Gwen thanked.
Camila comes up to the group.
"Gwen that was… increíble." Camila said, amazed.
"Thanks." Gwen thanked.
"But what are we to do with the rustlers?" Clarence asked.
"I've taken care of it." Camila answered.
"How?" Both cups asked.
"I managed to call the authorities with their telephone during the commotion and gave them the coordinates." Camila revealed.
"Great. Now, let's get your alpacas home." Gwen said.
"Good idea." Camila agreed.
The group herd the alpacas out of the jungle safely as Gwen kept guard in her jaguar form to scare off other predators until they reached the farm. The cups herded the alpacas inside the corral as Camila quickly locked the gate while Gwen magically fixed the broken fence.
"We did it!" Ms. Chalice cheered.
Camila's parents, grandparents and Carlos returned home to shockingly find their alpacas returned home and the fence mended.
"Ay yi yi yi!" Mrs. Mantilla exclaimed.
"Camila!' Mr. Mantilla exclaimed.
"¡Nuestras alpacas están de vuelta! ¡Y la cerca está fija!" Carlos exclaimed.
The family run up to Camila and hugged her. After their reunion, Camila explained everything about the rustlers and Gwen and her friend's help to get them back. The family walk up to the group. The parents hugged the group affectionately.
"Muchos gracias." Mr. Mantilla thanked.
"De nada." Gwen answered in Spanish.
"Gwen, did you say you want to see Machu Picchu?" Camila asked.
"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" All 3 cups cheered.
"I will guide you there. It's the least I can do for all you've done for me." Camila offered.
The family handles the alpacas while the group hop on Cerulean Bolt and fly up the trail. After a while, they finally reached the lost city of Machu Picchu.
"Woah!" The group exclaimed in wonder.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Camila asked.
"Yeah, no kidding!" Cuphead answered.
"Wow. Did ancient humans really live here?" Mugman asked.
"Yes, Mugman. A long, long time ago until they abandoned it." Camila answered.
"What happened to them?" Ms. Chalice asked.
"No one really knows Chalice. Some say it could've been from disease, a severe drought or they over-exploited their recourses to survive since this was an isolated city." Camila guessed.
"Yeah, that's gotta suck being cut off from the world only to run out of resources." Clarence said.
"Yeah. That's how I felt a few times back home." Gwen subtly hinted.
"I know honey, but you know why we're doing this." Clarence said.
"Yeah, that great big jerk's bringin' a war to us." Cuphead added.
"Great big jerk? War? What are you talking about?" Camila asked.
"Oops." Cuphead said, realizing his mistake.
"Nice going dumdum!" Mugman scolded.
"I'll say it. Our big enemy the Devil is planning a war to destroy our world called the Armageddon unless we stop him." Ms. Chalice explained as Gwen facepalmed.
"El diablo? Armageddon?" Camila asked in shock.
Gwen sighed.
"If you what say is true, can we stop this from happening?" Camila asked.
"Let's just say I have allies who are willing to fight back in high places." Gwen subtly hinted.
Camila thought for a moment.
"Gwen? Is there something I can do?" Camila asked, willing to help.
"I don't know unless you know how to fight." Gwen answered.
Camila pulled out something from her satchel. She pulled what appeared to be a club with a golden star on the top.
"Ooh! What's that?" Ms. Chalice asked.
"This is called a macana Chalice. It's an ancient Incan weapon said to crack the skulls of enemies. I found it in the goldmine earlier and knocked out one of the rustlers trying to attack me. So, I took it with me." Camila answered.
"Impressive." Clarence complimented.
"Gracias. I want to join your allies. I will do anything to save my home from El Diablo if he plans to destroy it." Camila pledged.
"Well, we'll see how it goes." Gwen said, not making promises.
"I think we should head back." Clarence suggested.
"Good idea." Gwen agreed.
The group fly back to the alpaca farm, only to find a grand surprise waiting for them. Villagers from around the town gathered with food, music and gifts cheered for the group.
"Wow!" All 3 cups exclaimed.
"What's all this?" Gwen asked.
"I don't know." Camila answered.
"We're they expecting us?" Clarence asked.
The group approached the crowd. Camila's parents approached them.
"We express our deep gratitude to you all for saving our alpacas and bringing justice to the rustlers." Mr. Mantilla said in English.
"What happened to the rustlers?" Clarence asked.
"They found the abandoned mine and arrested all of them. They appeared to be attacked by jaguars judging from their injuries." Mrs. Mantilla answered.
"Wonderful!" Camila exclaimed.
"Now, we are celebrating your heroic deeds and express our gratitude." Mr. Mantilla answered.
Carlos approached his family feeling ashamed.
"I am sorry for not fixing the fence properly. It won't happen again." Carlos apologized.
"It better not dingdong." Camila scolded.
"Now that everything's back to normal, let's celebrate!" Mrs. Mantilla announced.
Everyone cheered and the festivities began with music playing and people dancing. The cups enjoy more food while Gwen and Clarence socialized with the Mantilla family. The group are gifted with alpaca wool-made sweaters and hats.
"Neat! Check out this hat!" Cuphead said.
"And check out mine!" Mugman said.
"Oh yeah? Mine's way better." Ms. Chalice said.
"Guys, they're all cute on you." Clarence said.
"Well, that was fun, but I think we should get going." Gwen said.
They pack up their stuff and prepare to teleport back to Heaven.
"Gwen!" Camila called.
They look at Camila.
"Please come back sometime. Next time, I will show you the time of your life. I'll even show you how to weave alpaca wool." Camila said.
"We'll have to take you up on that." Gwen said.
They all hugged each other goodbye and teleport back to Heaven and unpack their souvenirs.
"That was fun eh fellas?" Mugman asked holding his llama plushie.
"Yeah. We'll have to go back sometime." Cuphead agreed.
Just then, Earnest's spirit floated up to Gwen.
"Doodlebug! There you are! It's Kai-Ming! She needs to talk to you!" Earnest fearfully exclaimed.
Realizing something was wrong, she quickly heads to the magic mirror and tapped it. It showed the FBI headquarters only to find it destroyed and vandalized. Kai-Ming and the Connery triplets approached their magic mirror still intact.
"Kai-Ming! What happened?" Gwen asked.
"We were just coming back from another assignment when we were alerted to the disaster!" Kai-Ming explained.
"Judging by the fires and things turned to ashes, it looks like the work of the Devil." Beatrix said, studying the damage along with her magic carpet Midnight Breeze.
"Why did he go to a lot of trouble to destroy our headquarters?" Bethany asked as her magic carpet Pink Swift shrugged.
"Uh, girls? I found something!" Barrett called.
The group approach Barrett as his magic carpet Crimson Blaze holds up a letter.
"Good job buddy." Barrett complimented and patted.
"Let me see it." Kai-Ming said.
Barrett hands Kai-Ming the letter and reads it.
"Dear FBI agents,
It has come to my attention that one of my imps turned out to be one of my beautiful flower's creations you ordered her to send to me to feed you valuable information. I am not too happy about it. Not only did I properly disposed of the fake imp, but I also disposed your precious headquarters. I hope you let this be a lesson to all of you to stop poking your noses into other people's business otherwise terrible things are going to happen. Not even Gwen can protect you all since I will be coming for her at her hideout in the not-too-distant future.

Kai-Ming was not intimidated by his threat.
"If he thinks trashing our headquarters to scare us to stop investigating him, he's got another thing coming." Kai-Ming said bravely.
"Hey, Gwen? Would you mind?" Bethany asked politely.
"Don't know mind if I do." Gwen answered politely.
She raised her ink pen and magically restored their headquarters.
"Wonderful!" Bethany said happily.
"Thanks Beth." Gwen thanked.
"Say Gwen, I was thinking we could discuss a possible idea I had of having headquarters restore itself so you wouldn't have to keep doing it yourself." Beatrix suggested.
"Not a bad idea." Gwen agreed.
"Later girls. Right now, we need to figure out what to do now that our undercover imp is dead." Kai-Ming said.
Gwen snickered.
"What?" Barratt asked.
"Do you guys remember what I told you before?" Gwen asked.
"Oh yeah! I do!" Bethany answered.
Gwen magically brings the undercover imp back to life.
"Ah! That's better! I thought I was gonna be a pile of dust forever!" Agent Hobgoblin said, stretching his arms and legs.
"I knew you'd never let us down girl!" Bethany said happily.
"But now that the Devil's aware of what we're doing, we need to be smarter about sneaking him back into Hell without raising suspicion." Kai-Ming said.
"Gwen, may I suggest redesigning him? Different fur color and maybe give him wings and a different voice?" Beatrix suggested.
Gwen magically changed his appearance to Beatrix's specifications.
"Awesome!" Agent Hobgoblin said in a brand-new voice and appearance.
"Great job! But we need to wait till things cool down and the Devil thinks he won the situation." Bethany suggested.
"Good idea." Barrett agreed.
"Thank you, Gwen. We'll continue monitoring the situation, but we will take more precautions this time." Kai-Ming thanked.
"Alright, you guys be careful. Bye." Gwen said.
The reflection disappeared as Gwen rejoined her friends. She felt a little more worried about the Devil catching on to her FBI friends spying on him for details on the war and what he'll possibly do to them if they cross anymore lines.
