Hey there guys! Hope you all are doing well.
I finally got an idea for this chapter after relooking over at the fanfic – again!
And I changed (again) a few things to the other chapters. I hope you guys like the new edit… again…
Anyhow, enjoy this chapter that you guys have been waiting for who knows how long.
-Gringotts Bank, Diagon Alley-
Lily's eye twitched, "They should have done this from the start…"
She, Severus, Alina, Sirius, Remus and the three Evans' siblings were waiting at a private room in Gringotts.
Lily asked Alina if James or Albus had ever checked if Alex had other abilities.
The Russian witch shook her head.
So, they took a weekend to come to Gringotts (with Albus' permission) to check Alex's abilities. The Snape twins already did when Harry first showed his fire element.
Mathew took the boys to his university and had them take the Ability potion to see what element Draco had and any other abilities the twins might have.
And the results were quite shocking.

Lily and Severus were amazed at some of the abilities the two boys have as some were passed down from different bloodlines.
Legilimency and Occlumency were from the Snape family.
Metamorphmagus and Wandless Magic from the Black and the Potter family.
Element Magic and Non-Verbal Magic from the Evans' family.
Veela was from the Malfoy family.
But they don't know where the boys got the others from.
That's when Mathew explained that there were rare times that after the twin ritual, the children would also gain each other's magical abilities.
But they didn't know where they got the Parseltongue Magic from.
Mathew believes that Harry gained that magic from Riddle due to the rebound Killing curse, transferring some of his magic to him.
The scar was the result of it.
And since the boys did the ritual, Harry gave it to Draco.
And now it's Alex's turn.
"Here we are," said Griphook, placing the vial and a parchment in front of Alex. He then place a goblin made small knife next to the vial.
"Just drop your blood into the vial and once it change color, drop three drops into this enchantment parchment."
Alex took a deep breath, took the knife and made a small cut on his finger and let a few drops of his blood in the clear vial.
Once it changed color, Alex dropped three drops onto the parchment.
Within seconds, the parchment was filled up.

Water Element
Light Magic
Metamorphmagus
Beast Speaker
Healing Magic
Wandless Magic
While Alex's mouth dropped, the Snape twins were grinning.
"Well, would you look at that," smirked Draco, "You can understand magical and non-magical creatures. That's pretty neat."
Alex frowned, "But if I have that ability, why couldn't I understand or communicate that bloody dragon in the first task?!"
"Maybe… it wasn't fully unlocked," said Remus after recovering from his shock.
"That could be," said Severus. "He may be able to understand them rather than communicate. Tell me Alex, can you?"
The auburn teen thought for a moment before gasping.
"Ya! I never got hurt when I played with the animals near the forest at Potter Manor!"
Alina made a face, "Don't remind me… there were times that he would bring an injured animal and would heal it, taking care of it until it was better…"
"And how is that bad?" Sirius asked, confused.
"They were dangerous animals, Sirius!" Alina snapped.
Lily and Severus glared slightly at Alex who was giving them a sheepish smile.
"Hey! In my defense, those animals were young," countered Alex.
Severus sighed, "You did the right thing, but what would have happened if you encountered their parents? You could have gotten yourself hurt or worse… killed."
Alex sighed, "Yea… sorry."
"Well, you better practice more to understand them," said Harry.
"Why?" Alex asked.
"That's because the third task," replied Griphook.
The small goblin was informed about what was happening in Hogwarts. And boy, the goblins knows all too well about the Tri-Wizard tournament too well.
"What's the third task?" Alex asked.
"Most of the time, it's a maze full of traps and creatures blocking some pathways," replied Griphook. "The point is that you must find the trophy."
"Well, that doesn't seem that bad," said Alex, thinking about the last two tasks.
Griphook gave a mischievous smile, "But it is. You see, the traps they place in the maze are riddles to solve or be attacked by the creature that is blocking the path."
Lily and Alina widened their eyes.
"The trophy is a portkey that will bring back the winner the starting line," continued Griphook.
Remus frowned, "That would be a good opportunity for someone to change the location of the portkey…"
"But to where? And who's going to place the spell on the trophy?" Severus asked.
"Alastor," replied Sirius. "He was also given the DADA position for this year."
"But he can't be the one changing the portkey's location," said Remus.
"Maybe… someone could be disguising themselves as Professor Moody," said Alex.
Sirius snorted, "Impossible. No one can out duel Mad-Eye Moody. His magical eye helps him detect hidden wizards and spells coming from behind him."
"But there is a possibility," said Remus.
"If so, who?" Alina asked with worry.
Sirius and Remus couldn't think of a person who could have beaten and disguise as Alastor. That's when Alex snapped his fingers.
"Hold on!"
He dug through his pocket and took out a worn-out parchment.
Sirius and Remus widened their eyes upon seeing an all too familiar parchment.
Alex placed it on the desk, opening it which revealed a blank parchment. He used his wand and tap it onto the parchment.
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
That's when the blank parchment revealed a map of Hogwarts and a part of Hogsmeade.
"This… This is freaking awesome!" Draco said.
"This map shows anyone's location in Hogwarts. My dad gave me his copy in my first year for um, pranks and other things," explained Alex.
Severus gritted his teeth, "So, that's how you two knew where I was!"
Sirius scratched the back of his head, "Yea, sorry about that. We made this when we were in our fifth year."
"This is pretty advance," said Harry. "How did you guys make it?"
Sirius was about to reply but Severus stopped him.
"You can tell him afterwards. But first we need to know who is disguising as Alastor."
"Oh, right," murmured Sirius.
The Evans' siblings shook their heads before they looked at the map.
"Right, so right now, Professor Moody should be at his office about now," said Alex.
The Snape twins nodded and the three were looking at the DADA classroom. But when they saw the name, Alex widened his eyes in shock.
"He-He – He's not died! But dad said he was!" Alex said.
The adults were confused and looked at the map as well.
All of them minus Alina had pale faces with widened eyes.
"I thought that bastard died in prison!" Sirus said.
"That's what the report said," said Remus.
"Who is Bartemius Crouch Junior?" Harry and Alina asked.
"Crouch Jr. was a Death Eater," replied Severus.
"After the first war, that coward Headmaster Igor who was also a Death Eater, saved his freaking skin by naming a few other Death Eaters to avoid getting the Dementor's Kiss."
"Two of them were Crouch Jr. and Lucius Malfoy," said Sirius.
Draco frowned a bit but stayed silent.
"The two were send to Azkaban for life with no trial as the same fate fall upon the other captured Death Eaters," said Remus. "Crouch Sr. had a hard time dealing that his only son was send to that dreadful prison."
"But he never paid to visit him," Sirius snorted, "The one that did was his mother who took the news badly. She would come to visit almost every week but out of the blue, she stopped coming."
"About five days afterwards, Crouch Jr. was found died in his cell," said Remus. "Everyone at the Department was quite puzzled but was never questioned and brushed it off."
Harry crossed his arms, "Could it be possible that Mrs. Crouch helped her son escape?"
Sirius and Remus thought for a moment before slapping their hands onto their foreheads.
Lily and Alina looked at them with annoyed looks.
"The Aurors should have double checked! You should have checked!" Lily snapped.
"But how would Mrs. Crouch did it?" Alina asked.
Harry thought for a moment, "She could have told the guards that she wanted alone time with her son, leaving them alone in the cell…"
Severus nodded, "I see, and during that time, the two would swap clothes and most likely Mrs. Crouch would have the Polyjuice Potion on hand…"
Sirius widened his eyes, "They switched places! I did hear that Mrs. Crouch wasn't feeling well as of late."
"She used her own declining health to avoid suspicion," said Remus.
"If that's so, then we have an escape Death Eater on the loose, disguising himself as a Professor and trying to revive Riddle by using the tournament," summarized Severus.
"If so, then the Regeneration Potion must be ready," said Lily.
"So, all there is left, is to take either Harry or Alex to who knows where to finish the potion," said Alina with worry. "How could we stop it from happening?"
That's when Griphook cleared his throat.
"If I may, I believe I can help you with that."
The adults gave him a slightly confused look on their faces but listen to the small goblin.
Afterwards, the Evans' brothers went to find the other champions while Draco went to inform the others what's going to happen.
At an unused classroom, all of the five champions were gathered around.
"What is this all about, Snape?" Cedric asked.
"It's about the third task," replied Harry.
The three original champions widened their eyes.
"You already know what the third task is going to be!" Fleur said.
Alex nodded, "It's a maze filled with riddles and creatures. The goal is to find the trophy which will be a portkey. Whoever grabs it first, will be the winner."
Viktor frowned a bit, "Not much of a challenge like the last two."
"I guess it depends on the creatures and riddles we have to face," said Cedric. "Why are you telling us this?"
Harry narrowed his eyes, "Cause someone is trying to revive Riddle!"
The older champions widened their eyes again.
"Are you serious?" Fleur asked.
"Positive," replied the Evans' brothers, serious.
"That's why all of us need to work together in the third task," said Hary.
The older champions looked at each other before having determination in their eyes. They turned their heads to the Evans' brothers and nodded.
"Right, listen up. We have a plan," said Harry.
