Wow where do I start with this chapter? Let me just say as I said before, none of Ana's family and friends knew she was CIA; they all thought she was just a business owner.
No and I repeat no she didn't know anything about Elena until Christian started talking that night when he got drunk and spilled his guts to Ana not realizing that he did that.
Ana put one and one together and got two. She knew in her heart that it was Elena Lincoln he was talking about that night.
She had an in depth background check done on Elena. I mean in depth. She couldn't bury her stuff deep enough where Ana couldn't find it. As they say you can hide it but if you know where to look you can find anything and by god Ana found it and more.
She did an in depth background check on Christian when she went into business with him. But there were no red flags. His dealings with the bitch weren't on his background check and she thinks Welch and Barney had something to do with that.
She will find out why there was nothing about on his background check involving money.
But when the bitch troll's Background check popped up with his name on her's she couldn't believe what all she read.
The pedo used his money to open up two BDSM clubs and a few loans that she had gotten from the bank and his accountant where she took trips. Well since he had approved the other loans she needed the bank manager didn't see any reason not to give her the money especially when she had his name on paper. Everyone knew she was his and his mother's dearest friend.
Oops, that's a major mistake on the bank manager when Christian finds out how much money she has gotten from him over the years. There will be hell to be.
She found his contracts with all the women that Elena set up for him. She was dumbfounded when she read all that about her best friend.
I am sure he doesn't know about the loans and the places she has opened up with his money. She would call and he would have his private account give her the money.
He continued to give her money and never questioned it because he felt guilty that they were caught by Linc. He blames himself as well as Elena.
Then he found out from Linc that he was trying to save him, not kill him.
Everytime she needed his money for the salons. She would use it to buy BDSM clubs. The loans from the banks and the accountants matched up perfectly on dates she asked for it. It shows what the money was really spent on.
Christian will find all this out when the audit starts.
Why oh why didn't the idiot do a damn background check on that bitch?
Ana wants to bury her six feet under.
Now everyone knows she is CIA what do you think everyone is going to say when she gets back to the house?
They were all stunned when they heard her say her team. Christian is disappointed that she didn't confide in him. But he had no right to know. She went undercover that night he got drunk.
She has some things to tell him about the bitch that he is not going to believe. So she is going to hand deliver Elena's background check to him personally. But it will be at his penthouse not his mom's. Unless the jackass shows his ass and demands to know how she found all this out about Elena then she will give it to him at Carrick's.
Ray was on his way to tell her the men that were going to kill her have been arrested. He still doesn't know that Elena is the one that put the hit on Ana.
Ray went to the hospital because he wanted answers. Ana told him she would tell him but not right now.
She did tell him before she left Carrick's that she was CIA but didn't have time to explain it to him right then.
She didn't find out for sure that it was Elena who put the hit on her until she got a message from her boss that it was Mrs. Lincoln and the men she promised to pay for the hit had been caught.
She was hoping Elena wasn't going to be at Grace's.
They were going to go to her house and arrest her but no she had to be at Grace's. So she was taken care of there.
She has to talk to her father and everyone else. She needs to know what has been said at Carrick's since she left.
She has to tell him that Elena was the one that put the hit out on her.
Has her father made it back to Carrick's and does he know about Christian and Elena.
Remember Ray doesn't know about Christian's confession to his parents about the bitch troll. How do you think he is going to feel when he finds that out?
Do you think Christian will tell him?
Ray will know something is wrong when he walks in. It will be quiet as a tomb but he will see Grace crying and want to know what is going on.
Grace is still reeling from his confession. She needs to know where she and Carrick went wrong with him. She is feeling guilty about what happened to him and she should to a point. She should have known something was going on with him. He changed in a matter of days and she nor Carrick questioned it. Not even asking Elena what she was doing to help Christian.
In Ana's book that is a major no no. They should have been questioning his change but they let it go. That was not right. Now Christian is going to say it was all his fault and they couldn't have stopped him if they wanted to.
Yeah they could have but they let it go. They should have demanded answers from him and Elena. So they would know what to do to help him. But the kind of help Elena was giving him was so wrong.
Christian should not take all the blame for this. The bitch is at fault. She saw a young boy with issues and wanted him. It was Grace and Carrick's place to make sure their son was not in any danger.
Ana is wanting answers how could they let a woman old enough to be his mom without kids of her own know what a troubled teen with issues needed. Please answer that if you can Mr. and Mrs. Grey.
Now back to Christian and Ana. He is going to be upset with her for not telling him she was CIA. He is going to have a hard time trusting her again. He probably thinks she knew about Elena and him before he told her anything. He will start to believe she was working on Elena for a while.
We know how his mind works or we think we do. He needs proof of everything before he believes it. Wow he should have gotten proof from a background check on the pedo bitch and he would have known exactly what she was into before he helped her out.
He thought he was the only one. He thought he was special to her and she wanted to help him. She said she believed in him. She filled his head with so many lies and beat him until she drew blood.
He was conditioned by her for six years and now he knows she was still in control not him. He was still her puppet.
Well everyone is waiting at the Grey's on word from Ana. So let's get on with the chapter.
Chapter 10 One million questions
"Taylor, have you heard anything from Sawyer?" Christian asked him.
"The only thing that he has reported to me is that Mrs. Lincoln is still in surgery and that was relayed from one of Ana's agents sir." Taylor tells him.
"Any word on how the bitch is doing Taylor? Does anyone know?" Carrick asked.
"All we know is she was shot in the back Mr. Grey and coded two times." Taylor tells him as he looks at Christian to see his reaction.
"Everyone, we will know how things are progressing when I get a call from Special Agent Steele." Special Agent Troy Allen tells them.
"Thank you Troy. Oh I am sorry may I call you Troy or would you prefer Special Agent Allen?" Grace asked him.
"Yes ma'am Troy is fine." He tells her.
"Would anyone care for something to drink?" Grace asked them.
"Coffee would be fine Mrs. Grey." They say.
"Alright, be right back."She tells them.
"Mom, I'll help you." Christian says as he follows her into the kitchen.
"Thank you son." Grace tells him.
"Christian did you know about Ana being CIA?" Grace asked him as she was getting the coffee cups out of the cabinet.
"Mom, I had no idea. I don't know why she kept it from all of us, especially me and Ray. Oh damn I heard her tell Ray she was CIA but she had to go to the hospital. Where is he? I haven't seen him since the shooting." He asked.
"I haven't seen him either. I bet he followed Ana to the hospital. Oh lord, that man is going to have a conniption. Are you sure you heard Ana say she was CIA?" Grace asked him.
"Yes, just as he got here and she had to leave and go to the hospital. She asked all of us to stay here and she would explain what she could to us." He tells his mother as he stands there pulling his hair.
"Well son I am sure she has a good reason for not telling anyone. I am wondering how she kept it from Ray and how long she has actually been CIA." She says to Chirstian as she pours the coffee into cups.
"Aren't CIA agents considered spies?" She shakes her head. "I will have to ask Troy and see if he will tell me." She says.
"Mom I don't think she is a spy or any of her team are. I am sure she does have a good reason but I am her best friend and we always talked to each other." He tells her.
"Think of what you just said and repeat it son." Grace tells them as she looks at him and shakes her head.
He looks at her and wonders what she means. Then he repeats the words in his head. 'I am sure she does. I am her best friend and we always talked to each other.'
He pulls his hair some more and hangs his head.
"You talked in the past, you do not talk like you used to. I see you figured it out. When was the last time you sat down with her and talked? I mean really talked? Not about business but as friends? It's been a while hasn't it? Christian you hardly ever came around when Ana and Ray came over. How many times did Ana ask you to dinner or lunch and you blew her off?" She asked him, giving him a sad look.
"Well I was busy." He said not looking at his mother.
"Yeah busy with the pedo bitch Elena Lincoln every time Ana asked you and she saw you out with the bitch." His head whipped around and you could hear his neck pop.
"How about all the times you were in meetings with her and Mrs. Lincoln called and you left in the middle of them. Yes I heard about that. Son you are lucky she didn't pull her contracts from you. She had every right and you know she did." Grace tells him as her voice gets louder and louder.
"Mom, I had business with Elena too." He tells her.
"Oh please don't give me that. Why would you blow off millions of dollars accounts to run to that bitch and for what? She already had her salons up and running and she was doing very well from what she would tell me as she was bragging about what a good business person she was. She had everything in line. So pray what was so damn important tell me Christian Trevelyan Grey?" Grace asked him, yelling at him.
He looked at her and bowed his head.
"Yeah I figured that. You can't tell me or you don't want to." She says and walks away from him.
"Grace are you alright?" Carrick asked her as she came into the great room with the coffee.
"I will be Cary, I will be." She says as she sits the coffee tray down.
"Where is Christian?" Carrick asked her.
She turned her head to the kitchen. "Still in the kitchen sulking I presume." She tells him.
"What were you two talking about? You were yelling at him." He says.
"Oh Cary just let it go for now. Let's wait for Ana to come back." She tells him.
"Mrs. Grey, Agent Steele is on her way back." Agent Allen tells her.
"Thank you Troy for letting me know." She tells him.
He nods his head.
A knock on the door. Taylor opens it.
"Come in Ray." He looks for Ana.
"Where is Ana?" Grace asked him.
"She had to go to the CIA office and do her briefing about what went down here and the shooting." Ray tells everyone.
"Mr. Steele, my name is Special Agent Troy Allen. Agent Steele has informed me she is on her way here sir." Troy tells him.
"Nice to meet you, Special Agent Allen. Thank you for the information on my daughter sir." He tells him.
"Yes sir." He replies.
"Ray, would you like a cup of coffee?" Grace asked him.
"Yes Grace, thank you." He tells her.
He accepts the cup from Grace. "Now who knew about the hit on Annie before me?" He asked as he was looking at Taylor and Christian.
"Ray, we did not know about the hit until you told us." Taylor tells him.
"Alright then who knew who put the hit on my Annie?" He says as he stands up.
"We were not sure who it was. Ana figured it was Elena because she and Elena got into an altercation at my company and Elena doesn't like anyone to treat her like she is less than she is. Ana took her down after she told Elena to back off." Christian tells him.
"Are you in business with that blonde peroxide bitch Christian?" He asked him as he was looking at him.
"I was Ray but not any longer." He tells him as he is drinking his coffee but would rather have something stronger.
Ray was looking at him trying to figure out why he would go into business with her and why he was no longer in business with that she devil bitch. "Would you like to expand on that statement young man?" He asked him.
"She well she helped me when I was younger and when I made my first million I paid her back the one hundred thousand she loaned me with interest and she has been blackmailing me for years threatening to show pictures of me and ruin my company and my family. I didn't care about my reputation but my family and my company I do. I employ thousands of people all over the world and I did not want to see any of them lose their jobs because of me." He tells Ray as he looks him in the eyes.
Ray can see his eyes tearing up. "What in the world did that bitch help you with son? She is the devil's worst nightmare. Did you all not know she preys on young boys? When did you start helping her and where at Christian?" Ray asked him all these questions. He needs to know when.
"Mom and dad sent me over to her house when I was fifteen to do yard work. Mrs. Lincoln said it would be good for me to work out my anger issues and gain control." He tells Ray not looking at him.
"Fifteen, fifteen? That is when you turned yourself around and stopped fighting and drinking wasn't it?" He asked him.
"Yes sir." He says.
"How long did that last?" He asked him.
"Until I went to college." He tells Ray not looking him in the eyes but over his shoulder.
"Well why did I always see you going to her house when you came home from college on your breaks and summer vacation?" Ray asked him, walking up to him.
Christian didn't have an answer to that. He just looked at Ray dumbfounded.
"Ray for six years." He said very quietly.
"How long Christian? Speak up." Ray says.
Christian sighs loudly. "Six years Ray, six long years. It's been over since I was twenty one. I stopped it.
"Christian you do know how close our houses are, right? You do know that I put my security cameras on my house and around my property right? You know do know that I put your parents security cameras on their house and I also put security cameras on Linc's house. He asked me years ago when there was a break in not far from all our houses." Ray says, throwing question after question at him.
Christian forgot about the damn cameras all over the house and he never knew about Linc having any.
"Christian I have twenty four hour surveillance on all the cameras. The footage is never erased. They were made that way for the Military so they could retrieve vital footage if they needed it." He tells him.
"Dad, did you know about the camera data?" Christian asked him.
"I knew about the cameras because I asked Ray to install them. I didn't know that the footage would never be erased." He tells Christian.
"I always wonder where you were when I would come and visit your parents and they would say you were doing yard work for the Lincolns. I check my cameras every night and you know I never saw you but the first two times you went over to the Lincolns to work in the yard. You were moving rubble into a wheelbarrow and then I never saw you in the yard again." Why is that Christian?" Ray walks over to him and looks him in the eyes.
"Ray..I..I" saved by the knock on the door.
Luke opened the door.
Ana walked in and saw Ray and Christian. What looked like a standoff. Ray was staring at him.
"What is going on with you two?" She asked them.
"I was trying to get some very important answers from Christian." He tells her.
"Well that will have to wait." She tells him.
They all look at her.
She walks into the living room and goes over to Carrick's bar and fixes herself a shot of whiskey and downs it.
They all look at her like she is crazy.
"Hey don't look at me like that. I deserve that and more. I am off duty anyway." She tells them.
The front door opens and in walks Elliot.
"Hey what's going on? Why is there yellow police tape around the front of the house and part of the way covering the walkway? Why did it take an act of congress just to get through the gate? Oh no where is mom and Mia are they hurt?" He asked them.
"Calm down son, your mom is fine and Mia is not here." Carrick tells him.
"Hey Ana, Ray. Who are these people, dad?" He asked.
"Might as well sit down son it's a long story." Carrick tells him.
"Ana is it alright if Elliot stays or should he leave?" Carrick asked her.
"No it is fine he will know soon enough." She tells him.
"What will I know?" Elliot asked her as he was looking at her.
"Hey where is mom? Tell me she is alright. By the way, where is the skankzilla at? Her car is outside? I hate that bitch. Sorry Christian but she is a skanky bitch. How can you stand to be around her?" He asked him.
"Your mom is in the kitchen. The skankzilla as you say is in the hospital. She is the reason for the police tape." Carrick tells him.
"Why don't you like her El?" Ana asked him as she looked at him and then Christian.
"I think I am going to see what mom is having for dinner." He says avoiding Ana's eyes and walks into the kitchen.
"Now that was odd." Carrick says.
Grace walks into the living room wiping her eyes with Elliot behind her looking worried.
She walks over to Ana and pulls her down on the couch and looks at her. "Well what's the word on the bitch Ana is she going to live?" Grace deadpans. Not really caring at all.
"She is alive but they lost her a few times. They had to give her blood and when I left the hospital she was still in surgery. I am waiting to hear from my guys on her condition." She tells Grace and Elliot looks bug eyed at Ana wanting answers,
"Wait a damn minute hold the phone. What are you talking about and who?" He asked his mom and Ana.
"Oh you weren't here. You haven't heard anything yet have you?" Grace asked him.
"No mom, I just walked in a few minutes ago. Now what is going on?" He says a little louder.
"Carrick, may I go to your office and pull the video footage from earlier in the house and outside?" Ray asked him.
Carrick looks at Ana and then Christian. "Christian you know what is on that video do you want to explain it to Ray and Elliot before they see it?" He asked him.
"Yes I need to tell them. Come to dad's office Ray, Elliot and Ana please come with us." He tells them.
"Are you sure you want me in there?" She asked him.
"Yes you already know all of it and I will feel better if you are with me with us." He tells her.
"Alright." She gets up and follows them to Carrick's office.
They walk in and sit down.
"Before you got here Ray I told my parents about my so-called relationship with Mrs. Lincoln. It is all on the video. After you see it and you don't want to have anything else to do with me I will understand." He tells Ray.
"Elliot tell me why you don't like her?" Christian asked him.
"Because the skank tried to come on to me when I just turned fifteen. She tried to fill me up when I was fourteen and said she could make me feel good. I pushed her away and ran to my room." He tells them.
"Oh damn, damn, dammit." Christian says as he looks at Ana.
"NO don't tell me she got to you bro. Tell me she didn't please say she didn't. Oh this is all my fault. God I hate that damn bitch." He says pulling his hair and walking over to Carrick's liquor cabinet and grabbing the first bottle he sees and pours a glass and downs it. He shakes cause it is awful tasting.
"Damn I hate that stuff but I am better now. Show the video Ray." Elliot says.
"Wait Ray, I have more to tell." Christian says.
"When you asked me why you saw me on the cameras going to Elena's. I did yard work for a few days. Then I was in the house with Elena. She said she could help me with my anger and my issues. I wondered what she meant and she showed me. Well after she gave me a blow job I came home and didn't tell anyone." He says as he looks at Ray.
"Bro what did you say?" Elliot asked him.
"You heard El. Elena gave me a blow job and I didn't tell anyone. I was fifteen years old." He says looking down.
"So you and Elena had a relationship for six years?" Rays asked him.
"Yes sir but it wasn't a real relationship. I..I.. was her submissive for six until I wanted to be a dominant. That is why you saw me going back and forth to her house during my breaks at college. My parents didn't know I was going to see her. They thought I had friends. I am ashamed of myself for letting her get into my head like she did." He tells them all, hanging his head.
"Would this be BDSM Christian? Did she hurt you?" Ray asked him.
Christian's head pops up so fast. "Um yes sir to both." Christian tells him.
"Bro this is my fault. I should have told mom and dad about skankzilla. Damn I could have saved you. I didn't say this a while ago but she cornered me outside one day near the side of the house and propositioned me. Hell she had a paper she called a contract and she wanted me to sign it. I told that old bitch to go to hell and leave me alone or I would tell mom and dad. She left me alone.. Dammit she came after you when you were fifteen. I am going to kill that old has been bitch." He says as he goes to get up.
"Sit down Elliot, she is in the hospital with a gunshot wound in her back as we speak." Ana tells him.
Elliot just falls back in his seat and stares at them.
"Who the fuck shot her?" He asked.
Christian looks at Ana and now it is her time to speak.
"Christian did you sign a damn contract with the skank?" Elliot asked him.
He just nods his head.
"Christian you were not old enough to sign a contract, much less understand it. You were under age, you were a child and the bitch took advantage of you and your issues." Ray tells him.
"Ray, do you hate me now?" Christian asked him.
"Why in the world would I hate you Christian?" Ray asked him.
"Well after what I told you." He says.
"No Christian I don't hate you. We will talk later. Now let's see this video but first." Ray says, turning to look at his daughter.
"Annie, is there anything you want to say before I turn it on for all of us to see?" Ray asked her.
"Dad and Elliot I am Special Agent Anastasia Steele CIA." She tells them.
They both look stunned. Ray knew she was when she told him before she left for the hospital but not what level.
"You are CIA Ana? Are you a spy?" Elliot asked her.
"No El, I am not a spy. They are foreign people from different countries that are spies. I work within the United States for the President. I do not travel out of the U.S. for the CIA." She tells him.
"One more question: what happened to skankzilla?" Elliot asked her.
"We told you she got shot in the back." She says.
"Yes but why and who had the privilege of doing it?" Elliot asked her.
"Oh my lord El just watch the damn video and you will see it all." Ana tells him.
'Dad start the video please." Ana tells Ray.
That's all for now. I will update next week not sure the day. Forgive me all my migraines have started back up and they are giving me fits. My new meds are working like they should. My doctor says they have to get into my system. I told him yeah sure. Just give me a shot and knock me out. He said no can do because the shots knock me out for a couple of days and they make me sick. He doesn't like to give me to many because they are narcotics. I haven't had a shot in four years.
