The boy-turned-falcon was rather fumbling in this new form that he indirectly wished for. But it was a good thing that there is grass below him to break his fall so he can't crack his head open. He pouted and placed his right wing under his chin in defeat and even rolled his eyes in irritation. He then felt himself being gently picked up by Loona again. "Don't be discouraged Cody." said Loona. "Still need some practice, that's all."

"Yeah, just keep practicing." Tex tried to encourage him

"How do birds do it?" asked Cody as he crossed his wings. "And i'm not even a baby bird!"

"Cody, you are originally a human," Moxxie said. "And humans don't have wings, right?"

"Right." Cody sighed with his eyes closed.

"... unless they are angels." Moxxie pointed. "But still, this is something new to you. So it can take a little time. At least until Stolas creates the cure for you. So just be a little more patient. That's all."

Millie gave the boy-turned-falcon a few gentle pats on the head of encouragement. "My husband's right." she said, "Practice makes perfect. Why, it reminds me of the very first time i tried to wrangle my very first hog for dinner when i was a tot. Broke two of my legs in the process and Sallie Mae had to help me with it in the end."

The boy gave an uncomfortable look on his adorable falcon face. "Did it hurt?"

"It stung like a thousand killer hornets trying to sting inside your bones. But i managed to get myself together in the end. Satan, i remember it like it was yesterday!"

Suddenly, something spooked Cody. "Hey guys." said a male voice. they all looked to see that it was Tommy and Celeste. "What's going on here?" then he looked at the boy-turned-bird, along with his beautiful wife.

"Oh mon dieu!" Celeste shrieked as she hurried over to the kid. "Who is zis little guy? he's so cute!"

the disguised demons look uncomfortable, Loona especially, who looked the most sheepish out of everyone else. Cody gulped and meekly said with his left wing up next to his chest: "Hi Tommy." Both his big brother and sister-in-law looked flabbergasted at what they just heard from this bird of prey.

"Did that falcon just say 'Hi Tommy'?" said the big brother.

"Yeah." said Cody. "It's me, Cody."

At first, both Tommy and Celeste looked shocked to see what is happening. The next thing that happened was Tommy fainting on the ground just looking at what his own little brother had become, with Celeste trying to fan him back into reality. "I know, i know, this shit looks bad right now," said Blitzo, "but we can explain everything to you guys."

In Blitzo's apartment complex, Celeste and Tommy were both sitting on the couch with the wife holding her husband's left hand for comfort. Loona and Cody were taking turns in this situation on explaining both young adult humans everything that happened. "So all and all," Loona said, "Andrealphus turned him into a falcon while he was sleeping last night."

"But it didn't hurt. I promise." the boy said

"Well zat's good." said Celeste with a relieved smile.

"When i see that fucking snow bird again, i am gonna rip that beak off his head!" Tommy sounded angry.

"Hey hey hey, easy there, killer." said Tex. "Stolas is already working on a cure to help Cody out. So it's nothing to worry about. In the meantime, it's not so bad that he got turned into a falcon. It's a cool bird that he is taking on."

"A very cool bird." said Moxxie. "I've read that the peregrine falcon is the fastest animal on the planet that can dive up to two-hundred miles per hour."

"Good point, Mox." Said Tex. "That is an impressive kind of bird alright."

"And as for Andrealphus, we perfectly understand your anger, hun. But he was more than happy to give Stolas the antidote. So Bltizo's boyfriend is already working on it."

"Whoa whoa whoa! Hit the breaks, Mills. He is not my boyfriend! He's... acquainted with me. Nothing more."

"Pfft, yeah right." Loona smirked. "Denying that will get you nowhere."

"The point is, it shouldn't take too long to turn Cody back to normal." Moxxie said.

"Yeah, so we're trying to help Cody make the best of this cute form he is in right now." Millie smiled.

At first, Cody looked annoyed being called that very word, but he remembered Loona's words about how they are just compliments to him, and decided not to protest about it. "Sorry to worry you guys." He said to the married couple.

"No, don't be sorry. It's not your fault." said Celeste. "It was not your fault."

"Yeah we all know who's to blame."

"I didn't think the wish would actually work last night." Cody admitted "i've heard of: be careful what you wish for, but I didn't think it would come true."

"None of us saw it coming, kiddo." Blitzo reminded. "The sooner Stolas gets that potion up and running, the sooner we can turn you back into a human."

"So, what are you guys doing here?" Asked the boy.

Both Tommy and Celeste smiled and looked at one another and then back to the boy-turned-raptor. "Cody, we really wanted to thank you for the ring at the reception and we wanted to reward you something for it."

"Something you'll really love." Celesta added. She pulled out two small square boxes. One from her and another from her husband.

"go ahead and open them, Cody." said Tommy.

Doing so, Cody was surprised to see a picture depicting Tommy when he was younger, holding a baby cody in his arms when he first came home. The other box, being slightly larger, was revealed to be a plush sheep toy with black hair and ram horns on it.

"This is the first time you came home." Tommy smiled proudly

"And zis is my old stuffed toy, Colette." Celeste pointed
