"The source of unknown energy should be around this location, please do not fail in finding the source."
A blue blur could be seen zooming through the sky with unfathomable speed, most wouldn't be able to see who was accomplishing such a task, that was until the flying speed landed down into the ground and finally stopping in the middle of some kind of big forest, this paused in movement finally allowed those to see who it was, that being some kind of mechanical robotic life form, colored blue with white stripes, rocket thrusters for a chest, and block visor with red optics, this machine being was known as "Neo Metal Sonic", and currently they were on a mission.
"It shouldn't be far, just follow your scanners and you should arrive at your destination."
Once the voice, which seemed to resemble a child girl, gave Neo their mission details, they as they were told, using their scanners to analyze the area, it only took them a few moments to realize where to go, once finding it, it wasted no time running towards the source, quick dash and fast sprints later, and soon, they finally arrived at their destination, though once there, they were immediately met with something much unexpected, that being a very large dragon.
"Hmph, aren't you a strange creature, never seen anything like you before…"
The dragon growls as it seems to speak too normally or telepathically, it was unclear, though even so, Neo didn't really reply, as it was focused on scanning and analyzing the dragon, making sure if their data was correct and this creature was what they were looking for.
"To think, to be killed by God's sword, and the last thing I would see before I pass is you, truly a very strange fate indeed…"
The dragon let's out a disappointed sigh, clearly not happy to go out like this, but couldn't really do anything about it either, though as soon as the dragon mentioned this, Neo immediately saw the sword dragon had mentioned, stabbed into the thigh of said dragon, after double checking its info, they confirmed it was the strange energy source it was looking for, with that in mind, Metal Sonic just simply walks up and towards the sword.
"What are you trying to accomplish?"
The dragon was at first confused on what Neo was doing, before going wide eyes when they then reached out a hand to grab the handle.
"N-No Wait Don't!"
The dragon attempted to warn Neo, but it was to late, as once they grab the handle of the sword, a strange and very strong godly energy burst from the handle of the sword, not only immediately destroying their arm, but also sent them flying back, crashing through multiple trees, before landing hard against a large rock, shattering it completely, as the mechanical hedgehog just lay there on the ground motionless and seemingly lifeless.
"You poor fool…"
The dragon shakes their head, assuming that Neo was dead, though much to their shock and surprise, not only were they wrong about their assumption, but the robotic life-form suddenly stood up in a burst of energy, a flash of yellow flickering on and off, no doubt the damage, plus among other factors, seemed to be hindering and stopping some kind of transformation it was trying to go into, however it was enough for what they were trying to do, as it then seemingly blitz, or teleported, before the sword again and grabbed the handle again, which again resulted in another burst of godly energy.
"H-Have You Gone Mad?! This Is A Sword From God Themselves, It's Impossible For A Mere Creature To Remove It!"
The dragon once again tries to warn and yell at Neo, though it appears this time Metal Sonic seemed more prepared than, as the godly power didn't blast them away like before, unfortunately that didn't mean it remained unaffected by said energy, as the more time spent holding the sword, the damage across all over their body begins to spread more and more, much to the dragon horror, however the mechanical hedgehog didn't seem to care one bit about itself, as it seemed more concerned about completing its mission of retrieving.
'A-Are you… Are you trying to save my life?...'
Though the dragon assumes differently, in their perspective, they just assumed that Neo was doing everything they can to save them, such misunderstanding made the dragon heart go "Thump", whatever the real reason was, that didn't stop the robotic life-form from trying to pull out the sword, which they did managed to do, though at the cost of being blown away again and falling to the ground, even more damaged than before, losing all it limbs, oil spilling out of all the holes and cracks that cover its body, even it's visor optics were horribly cracked, which they used to look over the sword that they pulled out, which then suddenly disappeared into nothingness.
"M-Mission… F-Failure…"
Was all Neo spoke, for the first and last time, before seemingly shutting down, visor optics turning pitch black and seemingly went lifeless again, though for real this time, of course the dragon witnessed all this, completely speechless at what just happened, clearly not knowing what to say or how to respond, but after a moment to process what actually happened, they knew what to do next.
"You saved my life, you strange creature."
The dragon then suddenly glows and in a puff of smoke, what was once a mythical beast, had now transformed into a humanoid woman, with horns and wore a cloak to cover their naked body.
"It's only fair that I do the same."
Once in a form that should help her handle this situation better, she walked up to the seemingly dead body of Neo, she frowned softly as she takes a moment to consider her situation she found herself in.
"My healing magic only works on organic creatures…"
She rubs her chins and considers her options, but it only took her a second to come up with an idea that should solve the problem.
"Then how about we make you more organic than metal~..."
With that idea in mind, she immediately went to work to make it happen, as she then used some kind of unknown powers, magic possibly, to summon multiple magical circles all around Neo, doing all this seemed to be causing some kind of struggle for her, no doubt the godly sword left her a bit weak and exhausted, however that didn't seem to stop her, pouring all the magic she had left to save Metal Sonic, well, actually, Metal might no longer be accurate anymore, as the damage machine was slowly starting to be covered and transmuted into something more flesh like, this made the woman pour more and more magic into this process, yelling and grunting to complete what she was doing, though maybe she put to much effort at what she was doing, as all the magic circles suddenly bursts and sent smoke and dust everywhere, this caused her to fall to her hands and knees, coughing from all this, but once she catches her breath and everything settled down, she was able to see what she had accomplished.
"O-Oh my!~"
And what she saw was Neo, also in a female humanoid figure, though with obvious difference, the white flesh seemed to have fuse with the mechanical body, giving her a more robotic look to it, cyborg basically, she also was given fluffy animal ears on top of her blue hair head, and as for her eyes, they were black eyes and pupils with red iris, though they were closed so the dragon woman couldn't tell, however what she did saw, well.
"S-So Pretty!~"
That was all she had to say, before finally passing out, both because from how beautiful Neo had become, and most likely how much magic she had to use for this experiment, now both female creatures just lay down on the ground, unconscious, though unknown and unheard for them, a voice spoke out of "Metal Sonic?" body, specifically the head/ear area.
"Unknown anomaly has affected Neo Metal Sonic, must report to Dr. Ivo Robotnik for such unexpected development."
Hope you don't mind a little gender bending, just thought it could be interesting and funny, hehe, also I wanted to keep in the themes of "Yuri Lesbian Love", so you know~
